El alojamiento es precioso, con dos piscinas, rodeado de plantas exuberantes. Es un estilo colonial elegante y está en el centro de Chiang Mai. El desayuno es al aire libre junto a las piscina y un estanque.

El personal de recepción no nos dio ninguna indicación, ni un mapa, ni nos comentó que había dos piscinas, no son nada amables. Creemos que es porque no dominan el inglés. En la habitación familiar hay una cama grande, una individual y un sofá cama. El sofá cama es incómodisimo pero nuestro hijo terminó durmiendo en la cama grande de con nosotros ( que es gigante) Hay tres pisos de escaleras, alguien con dificultades de movilidad debería tomarlo en cuenta.

Séjour août 2026 Couple + 1 adolescente Décevant — je passerais mon chemin Nous avons séjourné au Viang Thapae Resort et, malheureusement, l’expérience est loin de ce que nous espérions. L’établissement est vieillissant et aurait clairement besoin d’un sérieux rafraîchissement. À plusieurs reprises, nous avons également constaté des remontées d’odeurs d’égout, ce qui est particulièrement désagréable dans un hôtel où l’on vient justement chercher du confort. La piscine pourrait être agréable, mais l’espace autour est franchement décevant : très peu de transats disponibles, au point que profiter tranquillement de la piscine devient compliqué dès que quelques clients sont présents. Le personnel n’est pas spécialement désagréable, et je ne souhaite pas être injuste avec eux, mais l’accueil et le service nous ont semblé assez détachés, peu chaleureux, presque blasés. On ne ressent malheureusement pas cette attention ou cette envie de faire plaisir qui fait souvent toute la différence dans l’hôtellerie thaïlandaise. Pour couronner le tout, nous avons dû avancer notre départ d’une journée en raison d’un problème de vols totalement indépendant de notre volonté. Nous avons prévenu l’hôtel immédiatement et avons libéré notre chambre très tôt le matin, mais notre demande de geste commercial concernant cette nuit que nous n’avons pas utilisée a été refusée. Je comprends parfaitement les conditions d’une réservation, mais l’ensemble laisse malheureusement une impression de manque de souplesse et de considération pour le client. Entre l’état vieillissant de l’établissement, les odeurs, l’espace piscine très limité et une expérience de service assez impersonnelle, sérieusement, avec le choix d’hôtels qu’il y a à Chiang Mai, je passerais mon chemin.

The vibe is calm and relaxing. Plus, there are 2 swimming pools - we loved it! Room is nicely decorated and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful 2-night stay. Thanks you!

It is located off the main road and in a quieter street. So, need to walk abit to the nearest 7-11, cafes and eateries. We did not mind this, so was not an issue for us. It was quite enjoyable walking along the queiter streets for us.

La piscine était un peu froide. Ideal pour se rafraichir mais pas pour y rester longtemps. Préférez les chambres dans les étages plutôt que celles au niveau de la piscine.

La habitación estaba bien, no era enorme pero tenía espacio suficiente. El baño sí que era pequeño.

Se me rompió el asa de una taza sin querer y me multaron con 100 baths. La pagué ese mismo día y cuando fui a hacer el check out me lo volvieron a reclamar.

Prachtige, grote kamers. Koloniaal ingericht in een groene omgeving. Fijne locatie, vlak bij de oude stad en avondmarkt. Bedden sliepen erg goed en savonds rustige omgeving.

Struttura molto bella, al di sopra delle aspettive. Tutto pulito e confortevole, ottima e ricca colazione, personale gentile e sorridente. Si trova poco fuori dalle mura, in una zona super tranquilla: tutti i punti di interesse in centro sono raggiungibili comodamente a piedi. Assolutamente consigliata!

Hôtel très reposant idéalement situé à Chiang Mai: à mi-chemin entre l'entrée de la vielle ville et les deux marchés (waroros et night Bazaar). Le quartier est très calme et le personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Un vrai havre de paix

The hotel's traditional, charming architecture; the rooms' comfort; the pool, proximity to the center and to to the night market; the quiet surroundings; the helpfulness of staff.

Hotel staff was nice, as mentioned, but we did not like the strong tone of their repeated warning that we will be fined if they have the slightest suspicion that we have smoked in the rooms. Not sure whether this was because we were traveling with my family (Thai simple farmers) but it felt inadequate. Also, we struggled to understand the warning sign in the room that we'll be fined 3,000 baht "if we change the shower". Glad we managed to avoid the high risk of fines tourists seem to face in that hotel.

The rooms aren’t quite. Located around the pool where children are noisy. Rooms themselves are not sound proof - closing doors, people walking around can be heard.

Das Familienzimmer war großartig und der Garten auch. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage war auch super, sodass man die Innenstadt, Restaurants und die Nacht Märkte gut zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Für weitere Transporte konnte man sich schnell und günstig ein Grab bestellen. Perfekt. Wir kommen wieder.

Etwas mehr Licht im Zimmer und im Bad wäre toll. Teilweise abgedunkelte Fenster.

Das einzige Fenster war die Zimmertür zum Gang (große Schiebetür). Das macht leider ein beklemmendes Gefühl, weil man die Vorhänge selten aufmacht.

el hotel esta en una ubicacion perfecta. Cerca de la puerta Este de la old town pero no dentro en el meollo y el caos. Su ubicacion es muy tranquila, tiene dos piscinas y esta bastante bien servido. Hasta tiene algunas plazas para aparcar un coche en la calle. Las habitaciones son un poco mas pequeñas de lo que aparecen en las fotos y no todas tienen un balcon privado. Supongo que depende de lo que pagues. El aire acondicionado de la habitacion va bien y el baño es pequeño pero funcional. Eso si la ducha no tiene mampara sino un cortina con lo que es dificil no salpicar. Hay una pequeña nevera y te dan agua gratis todos los dias asi como cafe o te. no hay ascensor para subir a las plantas superiores, solo escaleras.

Todo estaba prohibido en este hotel. Es muy exagerado. Puedo entender que han tenido que tomar esas medidas por el poco civismo de algunos pero los que nos sabemos comportar nos sentimos cohibidos y amenazados todo el rato. No me gustó nada los carteles en donde todo era penalizable con una multa. hasta para usar las toallas teniamos miedo de hacerlo mal y que nos penalizaran.

Not the most welcoming staff, many restrictions and warnings about keeping hotel property and specifying the fines for each scenario. Our room had no privacy as it has no window or balcony and faced the hallway so you need to keep the curtains shut at all times.

Leuk hotel te bereiken via kleine straatjes. Prima ontbijt en 2 zwembaden waarvan wij iedere dag gebruik maakten. helaas geen raam om naar buiten te kijken in onze kamers en geen lift om je zware koffer naar boven te krijgen. kleine badkamer maar wel een heerlijke douche.

Veldig koselig og gjennomført hotell med lun atmosfære. Vi bodde med pool acsess, noe som var ekstra fint. Hyggelig personale.

Het is erg gehorig. Je hoort alles en vooral op de gangen waar mensen de hele nacht en vroeg in de ochtend langs lopen. Dus je wordt of onverwachts in de avond gewekt of vroeg in de ochtend.

Tutto!per noi è stato un sogno! Camera delux con accesso diretto alla piscina, stupendo! La vegetazione è suoerlativa, sembra di stare nella foresta…tutto in stile thai, bellissimo! Siamo stati divinamente, tornerei qui senza dubbio.

The air con dripped all night which kept us awake some. Had to put towels down to stop the floor to mop up the drips and prevent slipping.

Clean, efficient and friendly staff, the two pools and the rules which weren’t as over bearing as some stated. In fact the pool opening at 10am was a godsend given where the rooms are to the location of the pool; slap bang in both courtyards.

Sometimes you could hear people in neighbouring rooms but it wasn’t a big issue. We only found out about the second pool on our last day but again no big drama!

Location was great to get everywhere. The room and pool were nice. Staff were friendly enough.

I took the room with pool access for a bit of luxury. It was nice but very noisy, no privacy and late at night people were using the pool. The rooms around were full of noisy people which disturbed us. Restaurant is very basic.

Las piscinas son bonitas, la habitación es agradable, el personal es amable, el hotel tiene gimnasio.

La habitación al entrar tenia un mal olor, depronto por la madera, no tienen plancha para ropa, el desayuno es costoso y no muy rico porque estaba frio, la piscina solo esta abierta hasta las 20H00, el televisor es pequeño.

This place is even better than it looks - the pictures don't do it justice. A really quiet little back street location and only a short walk to restaurants, bars, night markets. The pools were great - nice and private. Lovely quality of the building and furnishings throughout. Really lovely stay - fully recommend and would definitely stay again.

The surrounding staff are helpful. I checked in, and it happened it fell on my birthday, I was very surprise to find a piece of cake and a birthday wishing card when i returned from outside. I am really happy and thank the staff.
