breakfast at the ground floor was ok but the tables were limited and there was no privacy for 4pax or 2 pax to talk about anything while having breakfast. it's so difficult to go in and out from inside and another guest had disturbed our table while eating when another guest wanted to go out to take the foods.we have to stop eating and get up and let the guest beside us go out first...my group was 4pax but we had to sit with 1 long sofa/chair with another group.the dining table is too closed with one to another.furthermore when the next table talking too loud it's so annoying and we can't eat our breakfast peacefully.. The hotel needs to set up the table at least 1 or 2 meter away.

The place is near to everything. It is very convenient. The staff is great. The breakfast was not bad. The swimming pool is fine. Love the view at the swimming pool. The hotel room was ok..

Opposite the hotel is a bustling food court with many options for food. GoJek is about Rp10,000 to Grand Batam Mall.

The “moderate” room is sub-par. Not recommended. Sink was leaking. A/C turns off every hour or so at night. They upgraded our room to a tier up after pushing for it; otherwise the concierge wanted us to wait for Housekeeping to clear an exiting guests’ “moderate” room.

Even after requesting a change of room upon check in, the next room also smelled. I have traveled in South East Asia and Asia and stayed at all kinds of accomodation. NEVER experienced such smelly sheets, pillow cover and towels in my life. I had to cover the horrible mold mildew smell with scarf and shirts. Add to that the malfunctioning AC. Staff told me I should keep the AC running when I go outside, but it was still suffocating and warm. Unfortunately all night long even at the lowest 18 degrees, it was warm and humid. I just could not wait for the morning because who wants to be bothered 3:00 a.m. by a hotel staff coming into the room to check or changing rooms at such hours with pjs and all. No hair dryer in the room. Bottom line: you can get a proper hotel room with AC in Thailand at this price. And you can avoid the creepy stares from the Indian men who are staying at this hotel long term for work.

The front office staff Tania spoke good English and was very warm, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, service staff Wani n Devi was serving at the breakfast cafe. Their service was excellent. The conditions of the room was just ok to stay for a few nights, rooms was very small and there was no cupboard but there was a safe below the mirror. The hotel is directly opposite the Nagoya Food court. It is a very nice airy hawker centre serving many types of cuisines and local fare with live band playing every night except Mondays.

The wifi is actually fast, and strong. The pool is so so, but that is bonus. For the room, it is very clean, the bed is soft and comfy. The aircond is functioning well. For the iron, need to request via call, and the staff will deliver it to your room in 5 minutes.

The pool was the only thing that was so so. Need to clean it oftentimes. But the pool is open until 10 pm. And the view was really magnificent.

It’s amazing but only lacked the bar, i thought there was gonna be a bar on the rooftop of the hotel but there wasnt.

How the corridors can be quite spooky when its dim. 317 had existing water seepage issue due to the bathtub leak. 315 had water from the bathroom leaking into the main room.

It is a noisy hotel with ingrained dirt. But, its cheap, with a massive food hall opposite. So its convient, safe, and walkable. The pool is to small to swim in, more like a plunge pool. That said, it is there so you can use it. It's not the best hotel I've stayed on my holiday but its functional and the staff try their best. I think, reception asking me to pay a deposit when it was not in the contract prejudicist my view of the hotel a little.
