Breakfast Buffet is good as there are new food selection everyday. Easy to book transport and good location.

Towels look very old and not soft to use. Housekeeping was not done even though we put the cleaning card outside the door but we called the staff and they helped.

This round we books 3 rooms but at first when we check in 1 of the rooms had a bad smell. We had them change another room for us. And remains 2 other rooms. At night we went back to the hotel after shopping i found my room also got a bad smell. At first I thought it was from the drain hole so i decided to cover it with wet paper to minimize the smell of getting out without asking for a changing room, cause the 1 room before we had changed they said have a full house during the weekend. And later I realized that the smell was from the tap water when I was taking a shower. What caused the water to have a bad smell? I can't imagine! Something happened to the water tank? I would not book this hotel anymore.... 😱

Gotten the Deluxe room and its spacious and clean location is superb ! eateries , massages all around also BCS mall and Grand Batam mall is walking distance.

This time my stay at Aston Gideon, the breakfast could improve. Example the main dish only has few choices and during my 3 night stay the western dish was the same example fried mushroom for 3 breakfast and there's no sausages. The waffle i took was hard to eat, maybe it has been made long enough and not really soft.

Not much to say as everything in my room was ok except for the breakfast and the room service menu although many of the dishes was very good price but the menu could be more variety.

Location and friendly staff are the major factor of choosing this hotel. All my requests for room type and bed arrangements were arranged accordingly. Really appreciate it. Would definitely come back in a few months time.

1) Waffles during breakfast - it's hardened fast, depending on the textures. 2) Would like to have a mini fridge at least for every room. Everything was nice but just you have left out the importance of providing access to chilled items.

Location was good and convenient to my regular massage place. Staff are always very pleasant, friendly ans helpful. This make up for any area that’s lacking.

Sometimes I get older rooms and air con can be noisy. Bathroom is sliding door, hence not sound proof.

The service were all very good But room on 2nd floor is noisy, sound like people chatting at around 2 am.

Location was great, all amenities within walking distances.

The soundproof was bad, i can hear the baking noise from stray dogs and singing inside my room. Shower water was weak

Best location! Near 2 shopping malls and a big food court opp. I travel to Batam twice or more a year, this hotel is my everytime choice. I had been booking the deluxe room but this time i booked a larger room De Luxe but was disappointed tho i paid extra for it. There is no table to have your meal if u pack food to eat in your room. Only table available is the dressing table. When we asked the staff for a table, they gave us a 'kind' of stare and suggested us to eat at the lobby instead. In the end, we have to move a table from the smoking room and return after our meal everyday. Do NOT book the De Luxe room. Not comfy, inconvenient n too bright - the room light up after 6am!

The staff were friendly and approachable. The location is nearby to few shopping mall such as BCS mall and Grand Batam Mall. At nights, there’s delicious street foods. Breakfast was delicious. There is always small shops nearby such as Spa Central and others. Location is really convenient.

There wasn't any small towels. Only half a roll of toilet paper and half a box of tissue paper at checkin. The shampoo and shower gel containers were faulty. I was in room 104.
