The bathrooms were clean , the bedroom was cozy and the sitting area (on the balcony) too, even though it was raining it was still nice to sit there and chill

Stayed one night so not much experience.

All in all a great place to stay, will definitely go back again sometime.

Picture of a shower/toilet in the collection of photos for the standard double room I booked, was misleading, as it was not part of the room, but a picture of the communal faculties. It was pointed out to me that I should have read the facilities included.

キッチンが狭かった 場所がセンターから遠い所は何とも言えない だから安全とも言えるので 昼から歩いてライオンヘッドまで一通り見れたので歩けない距離ではない

今まで泊まった中でかなり良いホステル！！ 古い邸宅を作り替えたみたい、本当に素敵。 プールもシャワールームもキッチンも、全てがいい感じだった。

部屋の中は長期滞在者が多かったのか？上のベッドに登る足の踏み場もないくらい荷物が広げられていた。 それでもロッカーとかはちゃんとあるから自分の荷物管理はしやすかった。人の問題。

Frukosten kan varit bättre, men samtidigt det är ett backpackers ställe. Helt ok.

Kitchen utensils and appliances need an upgrade, rooms are smaller than advertised with minimal furniture.

It was excellent value for money and in a great location

One night a member of staff entered my room without knocking. They thought the room was empty and it was an honest mistake as they wanted to fix something. It was late at night and I was asleep. They apologised and I accepted the apology. Lesson learnt is that knock on the door first

Convenient and comfortable straight from an overnight flight. Taxi was pre-booked each way to/from the airport. Great for Kloof St. vibe and a short taxi ride to the Waterfront.

It’s a Backpackers so expect some rowdy noise on a Friday night.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit da und wurde durch die Angestellte Zoe stehts kompetent und fachkräftig beraten und versorgt.

Great stay! Beautiful building with lots of places to read, or have interesting conversations with people from all over the world. Good restaurant, too. Incredibly helpful, friendly staff!

The young lady on Reception who checked us in was unfriendly, and the guy who showed me to my room didn't have a good understanding of English. I wish a room with it's own bathroom had been available when I booked.

Super bien placé, sécuritaire, piscine fort utile lorsqu’il fait chaud, douches et toilettes propres. On a eu notre chambre rapidement et plus tôt que prévue après un long voyage (super apprécié).

Nous étions présent en été et il faisait chaud, même la nuit. Le ventilateur au plafond faisait du bruit au maximum et les moustiques entraient par la fenêtre pour nous piquer la nuit. Donc pas idéal. De plus, pas la faute de l’hostel, mais nous avions un enfant au 2e étage de notre chambre qui faisait énormément de bruit (donc l’insonorisation n’était pas optimal). Reste que pour une auberge de jeunesse dans ce secteur, c’est un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Staff are lovely. The kitchen always clean and ready to use. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Clean bathroom amenities. Always felt safe - gate and door locking mechanisms very secure. Good solid vibe - the place attracts down-to-earth, authentic clientele.

The facility is excellent, clean and well maintained. It's in a very good location within walking distance to restaurants, stores and nightlife. It has a lounge area outside and a swimming pool inside. The staff is available 24 hrs and very helpful.

I would have preferred to have a non-shared room but there was none available because of a big conference/ convention in Cape Town.

Gehorig, mensen roken op het balkon en de slaapkamer grenst daar aan, erg vies als je in bed ligt! Er waren ook kakkerlakken in de douches boven :( De faciliteiten beneden waren wel schoon

The relaxation factor was insane! Staff were so helpful and the Volunteers made it a fun experience. Fun little social events like a braai or even a deep pool so swim in and relax from a rough/hot day. Kitchen Facilities are really good with an oven!

Honestly, this place was perfect. Comfy, clean, quiet and people just come and go, no social pressure or forced backpacker vibes.

The communal kitchen just needs a level up to the hygiene. Its perfectly fine, but could be better to make the overall experience better. things like santizer spray bottles and clean the microwaves daily.

Gute Lage mit der Kloof Street nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das Personal war super freundlich und gab mir von sich aus ein Zimmer-Upgrade in ein weniger belegtes Dorm.

Bei den Einzelbetten im Dorm wären kleine Ablageflächen oder Steckdosen praktisch.

La réception ouverte tard le soir, le bar / espace repas pour se poser, possibilité d'avoir un petit déjeuner sur place, le patio avec la piscine, les salles de bains récentes, plutôt grandes et fonctionnelles, le quartier calme, facile de se garer.

Notre chambre, près de l'entrée était assez bruyante, aussi bien tard le soir (hôtes qui rentrent) que tôt le matin (équipes de ménage).

Everything was very good thank you. My only complaint is the fact that the wifi in my room was not working properly (I am a student and had to access the wifi in order to study). I will be visiting you guys again very soon and also recommended the accommodation to friends and family

Ik vond de tuin die erbij zat echt heerlijk. Je kon daar heel rustig zitten en de hangmat was ook top! Het huis is ook echt prachtig en ruim. Ik had het huisje in de tuin en daar was ik echt heel bij mee, dat gaf mij echt ook wat privacy. De mensen achter de receptie waren altijd geïnteresseerd en gaven me een welkom gevoel.

Ik ben niet veel in de bar geweest, daar gebeurde niet veel en lag ook niet zo centraal. Daardoor von ik het lastig om makkelijk andere reizigers te leren kennen.

The place is very nice and comfortable. There is excellent wifi, enough shared bathrooms and toilets, and a beautiful swimming pool. The staff is colaborative and you can have a good paid breakfast or meals at the restaurant.

I paid 35 US dollars (ZAR 606) for a single room with shared bathroom, which I think is a little excessive price compared to other similar places and overall value of money in South Africa. I was expecting a little more from the place. The shared kitchen is specially very messy and with lacking of utensils.

friendly, communicative, helpful staff

I liked the pool. The bathrooms and showers. The combination locks on the dorm rooms. The onsite bar is also good, with a pool table you can use by inserting a coin. The food options the bar offers and the small tuck shop at reception. The communal kitchen was adequate for what I needed to prepare and store food. I appreciated the Lodge offering guest the option to store their luggage in the store room until their check in. Thanks

I didn't like that the staff who welcomed me didn't introduce themselves or have any name badges for me to meet them. The bunk beds doesn't have a place to leave my electronic devices, water bottle, spectacles or a charging point close to the bunk bed. Otherwise, all essentials were provided.

Goede wifi, centraal gelegen, heel aardig en veel personeel. De bedden slapen heerlijk en het is fijn dat er een keuken is en je zelf kan koken. Super hostel.

De sloten op de deur zijn niet gebruikersvriendelijk. Je moet bijschrijven om de knoppen te kunnen zien.

Fica a 1,5 km da Long Street; não é uma distância bacana de ser percorrida todos os dias a pé. Então optei sempre por aplicativos de locomoção.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast was served quickly and was delicious. Service was great.

Nothing needed,

Estrutura excelente, limpeza bem feita e equipe maravilhosa. Todos estavam sempre dispostos a ajudar com um sorriso no rosto e informações seguras. A minha estadia foi muito boa! Recomendo a acomodação e, com certeza, voltaria.

staff were very helpful and the location was very nice. My room was very spacious.

the booking was misleading, because a photo of a lavatory in the room made me believe there was a private bathroom. i checked the booking again and it does not say that the bathroom was shared. Also, the walls are very thin and there was a lot of noise from the rooms upstairs and next door.
