Our room was dark and stuffy on arrival - velux window and blind opened only with assistance from staff. Shower had to be replaced on second day. Inadequate breakfast organisation when coach party arrived.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. Nothing was to much for them.

The staff were very friendly and respectful. The funeral tea we were attending was nice, although limited choices for gluten and dairy free, sandwiches were a bit monotonous.

Room looked lovely when we arrived, but pillows and mattresses were hard. There was mould around the bath sealant and the toilet was not very clean, there were also small chips in the enamel of the bath. Breakfast was very disappointing, bacon was overcooked, sausages hard, no boiled eggs, just dried up scrambled eggs and fried eggs which had gone hard under the lamps. No cold meat or cheeses

Location was great for our visit to the rugby and my sons , and the area was OK too. Lots of parking, staff were excellent and the dining area was lovely. Great shower with lovely fresh towels.

Opted for a smaller room and managed ok apart from bumping my head on the attic style roof. Might go for a standard room next time

Myself, my mum and grandson had a lovely overnight stay at corn mill. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were all welcoming and friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, tasy reasonably priced portion, big portions so go easy. The waiter was great🙂breakfast which was included was brilliant, everything you could want for breakfast was there. Will definitely stay again, many thanks.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Corn Mill Lodge. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable king-size bed, modern decor and on the ground floor. Even though the hotel was completely full (test cricket was taking place at nearby Headingly) it was so quiet! We booked to have an evening meal in the hotel - the food was piping hot, plentiful, beautifully cooked and tasty. Breakfast was self-service with loads of choice and catered for all tastes. All the staff in the hotel were lovely and friendly and I can definitely recommend Corn Mill Lodge to anyone who needs accommodation in the area.

No separate lounge to chat to other guests as the bar is part of the restaurant. There was a coach party in who would have been interesting to chat to but they were also sitting at small individual tables and not even chatting to each other. Evidently they were still getting to know each other, Initially, I disliked no outlook from my bedroom window (a Velux window) but, over the 3 days I stayed there, I enjoyed the privacy of it.

Breakfast there was a good choice, our room was the small double but was plenty of space for us both. Having a restaurant on site was a bonus for us as we had had a very long tiring day. Food was excellent. We had been to cricket at Headingley and hotel was a perfect location for us.

Just two very small things, a small tear in the bottom sheet, and some mould on the bottom of the shower curtain - nothing major for us

The staff were kind.

The room smelt very bad and was damp. The bedding and towels were dirty. The carpet was dirty and absolutely not hoovered.

The hotel was very clean and the facilities were great. We were travelling with our 2 year old and arrived late on Friday - the receptionist was great and brought some milk to the room for us for him really quickly. We also ordered room service both nights which was fab, the food was great. We were also really impressed with the breakfast in the mornings.

The staff are always pleasant especially the chef/night porter. The bedrooms on the ground floor are nice.

The bathrooms are desperately in need of refurbishing. The small double bedrooms are in the eaves of the building so they have shower rooms which are in even more desperate need for refurbishment . It would be nice to have some Greek yoghurt at breakfast time to go with fresh fruit. The small cups in the dining/breakfast room are far too small to drink tea and coffee from, they are outdated and need replacing with something bigger. Please don’t cook the bacon as much as it becomes inedible and salty.

Location was easy to find,staff were friendly and it was really good value for money and breakfast included was an added bonus.

Only thing was shape of the room,very low sloping ceiling on one side of the bed meant bending down as to not bump your head.

Beautiful room room, tastefully furnished and with copious convenient electrical sockets with good ventilation. Quiet location. Staff were very friendly and we were especially impressed by the care taken by catering staff to help my wife avoid soya in her breakfast to which she has a severe allergy. (Sadly, soya is much more common in catering oils, bread and sausages than it needs to be and can cause real problems). Breakfast itself was delicious and well worth having if it is not included as it was for us. Free Parking is a huge bonus.

Immediate locality is a bit bare of ameneties (just residential) but very convenient for driving into Leeds or to pleasant walks by the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Can be a relief to be out of rowdy Leeds night life here though.

The room (015) smelt of stale cigarettes and there was noise from the room next door 013 until 1am shouting and blaring music

Spacious room with a comfortable extra-large bed with clean linen. The staff was super helpful and the breakfast was nice. The lodge is quiet and peaceful.

The button bath soaps are not good at all since they are just hard and not soapy. Not everyone likes bathing using a conditioner which I realised was the only available option. There is need for proper liquid/solid bath soap and handwashing soap in the toilet.

staff went the extra mile to accommodate us and there were many of us attending a family funeral the rooms were available early as we had requested and the food and service excellent

It was not clean. The room needed hoovering, the pull out tray with the cups and kettle was very dusty and had hairs and crumbs. The bathroom was dirty and in need of a deep clean.

I had a loft room, with a steep raked ceiling. It was very hot, and the fan made no difference. The dinner menu is very basic, and the breakfast has simple options.

Minor gripes. We had a small double room. This room only had a rooflight not a window. The shower worked well but was past its best days, needs a refurb. No aircon in a heatwave was a bit uncomfortable. Like I say minor gripes.

The room we had was on the second floor. It had a sloped roof which we kept banging our head on that side of the room when getting out of bed.

I am requesting a full refund and an apology staff entered my room when I clearly said I don't need service. I was threatened and left with the help of a taxi driver. They refused to refund me and treated me abhorantly

Only there one night. Check in was smooth at 2pm. We pretty much left straight away as we were going to Roundhay Festival. Didn’t get back til near midnight. Picked up room key easily from the night porter. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Thought the bathroom was a bit dated but it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast the next day was basic but good. Overall we enjoyed our very short stay and would come back again. Also free parking.
