Had the best time, great Atmosphere, great food (great variety even for vegetarians) hotel was spotless
Lovely hotel, superb location. The staff are really friendly and the food choices is excellent.
First time for us to Tenerife, so took advice from the Tui shop in town. We wanted adult only and not too lively. The Guayarmina is a lovely hotel, the rooms spacious and well equipped, tea and coffee, small fridge, and each day a complimentary bottle of water. The hotel is right on the beach and views from the outdoor pool area lovely out to sea and Adeje. Sunbeds have to be booked, but easy to do via hotel app or screens in lobby. We stayed half board. Breakfast and dinner is help yourself to an incredibly well stocked, and plenty of choice buffet,,, we both ate very well whilst away! There's many shops, bars, restaurants along the front selling just about everything. The beach is black sand, and the day we went, it was very hot, so it felt like your feet were burning to get into the sea, so we preferred the hotel pool. There were also busses running, but we didn't use any. All the staff at the hotel were always very polite and pleasant, and the hotel was spotless everywhere.
We stayed at the Guayarmine Princess in May 2025. For us it's a great time of year. Weather in Costa Adeje is beautiful but not too hot. The hotel was beautiful and location was excellent. Very clean and modern. Rooms, again, clean modern and adequate. We stayed half -board and the food was good. Breakfast was you standard fayre and evening meals were good but not outstanding. One gripe I has was that you were made to pay for, what was basically tap water. There was no other option other than fizzy drinks or alcohol. Overal, a very nice place and I would definitley stay there again.
This hotel is definitely not the 4 star advertised. We spoke to a lot of people who return year after year and they all said the same thing, that standards have dropped and they would not be returning. We stayed in a side sea view suite with Platinum advantages. Very disappointed that a lot of the premium drinks and cocktails were extra charge, never had this before in any all inclusive. The buffet food was limited and luke warm at lunch time. We didn't want to use the buffet but due to the storm even on dry days when people were sunbathing they wouldn't open the outside bars to have drinks or snacks. We were using the inside bar which ended up resembling a care home for the week !!! The 1988 bar opened once during the whole week, using the storm as an excuse. We couldn't use our balconies as they were flooding. Roofs were leaking and there were mats left all week with no repairs to the ceilings. One evening i slipped on the wet floor, spraining my ankle which is still sore 2 weeks later. There were just wet signs everywhere and nothing sorted. I asked the hotel about the bars and put in an official complaint. They just quoted the storm. All the bars on the sea front were open and functioning so why not a 4 star hotel ?? I have been to a lot of good quality all inclusive and this falls short my a long mile.. For the money a paid i would have expected much more. I'm sure my reply will be they will take it on board.....but nothing will be done
Super hotel in fab location. Hotel well maintained, Rooms were spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly. We went AI , the food was great with plenty of choice and of an excellent standard. No complaints, everything well above average. Will return
Great Hotel, excellent location, great atmosphere, immaculate throughout, room was spacious with good view, reasonable value, good nights sleep as no noise through the night and entertainment and amenities were of a very high standard. So good we wish we'd gone all inclusive as we didn't leave the hotel as much as we anticipated. Defo be back!!
Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Wonderful food, wonderful sea views and wonderful rooms. We didn’t stay in the Platinum rooms but didn’t feel like we missed out at all. It’s a great place to stay!
I was staying in guayarmina hotel from the 27th of March until the 1st of April, Yesterday 30th of March we left the room approximately 10am from leaving the room to going to jungle park and back to the hotel our room was cleaned by a lady called donis photo attached we got back around 2pm and went to the room I had a real pair of prada sunglasses that cost me €264 euro these aren’t the sunglasses you get on the side of a street they are actually real and have coat a lot money, same with staying in the hotel it’s cost a lot so I expected my hotel room to be cleaned and nothing taken from it the hotel and to stay in it cost me €2530.17 like that is a lot of money so If your paying that much for a hotel you’d expect cleaner not to be misplacing or even taking your stuff, I’m very disappointed I went to reception once I realised they were missing and a lady called Sarah assisted me she said she’d look into it and get back to me I heard nothing so I arrived back this morning to ask her 31st at 1pm she said she hasn’t heard anything from the cleaning company and can only give me a complaint form which I think is very unfair I will not be staying in this hotel again and I will be making sure I review it and tell other people as it’s my own hard earned money that’s paid for this holiday and my own sunglasses and for it to be taken and nothing gone further is unexceptionable
At the check in at the hotel, we were now informed that it was passed dinner service and in 1.5hours we could collect a picnic which was totally inedible. In general in the hotel the food was awful, I am a celiac and nothing was labelled at the buffet on what had wheat in or not except the desserts. In addition the labels invariably did not correspond to what it was near. I was ill most days as I could not point out what had or did not have wheat in. The food was more often than not cold and of poor quality. There was no Gluten Free Options until our 9th day, when hey presto there were two desserts labelled Gluten Free. The specialty restaurant - The Roast, well that was a joke, when I enquired what the 'Special Meat Of The Day' was I was told a Gourmet burger! I therefore had to pay 12.50euros for a steak. Due to the rain every corridor had buckets everywhere which overflowed more times than not. The lift nearest to our room was out of order a lot and kept stopping about 9 inches below the floor which meant you had a step out of the elevator. It was very scary. What I do not understand is that the platinum club which we could not prebook was an additional 140euros per person per day we were told when I asked if we could upgrade.... but that it was full anyway. What is very annoying that you have to prebook a sunbed the day before you want to use it. What is that all about? And you have to wait until 12noon to use one if there are none to book! Would I go again to this hotel again? No I would not, not an enjoyable experience at all.
Just returned from a solo trip. Fab hotel, food, service, staff especially. One of the best buffets I've had in Europe, plenty of choice. Drinks really good price. Always entertainment in the evening. Pool area lovely. Only negative thing I'd say is the whole sunbed booking system, there are people who have the same one every single day which is a bit petty at times. No chance for others. I never had trouble finding one but maybe take a few more off the system so they're not bookable by the same people. Notwithstanding that highly recommend this hotel. Well done to the staff there for being so courteous.
Unfortunately this was the worst all inclusive hotels I've been to. If you wanted the mini bar restocked you had to pay, you had to book sunbeds daily, and the food was average. Trying to get more than 1 drink during lunch/dinner was a nightmare as not all waiters had a scanning device to scan your wrist band for the order. There was no pool side waiters to order your drinks and also the bar wasnt open on some days. The hotel its self was clean and tidy, but this is one hotel I wouldnt go back to.
Just back from another great stay at this lovely hotel. Can't fault it at all. Good location and views, beautiful and spotlessly clean . Good food choices, I'm a fussy eater but always found something I liked. The evening entertainment was very good, some great singers. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and make you feel welcome. Good organisation of staff in the bar and restaurant makes it all run pretty smoothly. Lovely pool area, easy to book sunbeds. Also it's well designed for people who have difficulty moving around . I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel and hope to be back there again next year
Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and spotless.Amazing choice of freshly prepared food but the best thing about this hotel are the staff, from the reception staff, cleaners, cooks ,waiters and entertainment staff, everyone was so polite, friendly and helpful, well done
I have never been all inclusive before and still not sure its a good idea. However the hotel was excellent and the food was lovely . Staff were nice too. Sadly we were there during the worst weather in Tenerife in many years and will never return in March again
We left Manchester on a cold sleety February morning and were delighted to arrive in Tenerife to be met by a beautiful sunny day. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted warmly by the reception staff who explained everything we may need to know. Our room was spacious and the beds were most comfortable. There was a safe in our room along with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was fully equipped with a super hot shower and our room was serviced daily. There was not a great selection in the mini bar, but this was no concern to us as we had booked all inclusive and didn't wish to spend too long in our room anyway. The Hotel provides a relaxing atmosphere and is very light and airy. There are two glass lifts which travel to each level of the hotel. We ate in the all inclusive buffet with provided a good variety of food to suit all tastes, and their breakfasts were lovely. We did not attend the in house restaurant as on the night we had planned to go my husband was a little unwell, we relaxed in our room and took advantage of the room service, which was an extra but realistic charge to our room bill. The food was plentiful and delivered in a timely manner. We were advised at check in that sunbeds would have to be reserved via the app the day before. Initially this was something we had not previously had to do but actually proved useful as you can select the location you wish to soak up the rays for the following day. Towels for the sunbeds were provided in our rooms. As a couple in our mid 50's we noted that we were possible on the younger side of the other visitors, this may be accountable to the fact that it was Feb and not high season. The daytime pool staff did an excellent job, offering water aerobics and water volleyball daily. Evening entertainment was also available although we chose to take a stroll along the main street most evenings where the hotel is a stone's throw from the bars and restaurants. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night mini break and have booked to return for a longer stay in 2027. This hotel offers a friendly, relaxed vibe where you can relax by the pool or take a drink in the poolside bar. We were extremely lucky with the weather for our February trip, and although dropping cooler of an evening, we did not need much in the way of warm clothes. Beautiful place and location and cant wait to return next year.
Arrived for our 8th visit, expecting our usual excellent experience, this one ended up differently with my wife breaking her hip on the second night. Not the fault of the hotel, a simple accident I must add. This left me on my own for most of it with my wife in hospital in Santa Cruz. I just want to say a big thanks to Salem, Eloy and David for looking after me, really helped having people to talk to. Same goes for the reps Jane and Fran who were superb. Already booked for next March where I hope it will be less eventful!
This hotel looks 5* but believe me it's more like 3* and TUI Are charging 5*prices I came home Friday very disappointed they promised to change my room BUT didn't state what month or year!!!! Never happened One gentleman had a accident on a bike and slept on blood stained sheets for 3 days Reception told his wife we only change the sheets every week. Also a 86 year old lady pored a drink in her room the glass was covered in ants reception told her we will deep clean her room shes still waiting!!!!!!!Rembember this hotel is advertised as a 5* hotel. The fault with this hotel is the Reception area the attitude on the staff from my opinion is you have paid your money and clearly don't show any empathy if you have a query The dining room staff are a credit to the hotel also the cleaning staff waiters and waitresses are first class
Just back from a lovely week at this hotel. Room available on arrival, which was around 1pm. Very spacious accommodation with good air con, super king size bed, lounge area and well appointed bathroom with toiletries provided (room 2006). Very good hand held hair dryer in the bathroom too. The pool area was lovely, very well maintained and even though you are required to book sun beds for your use from 9am the process was very easy both through the interactive boards in the lobby area or through the hotel app which we downloaded on arrival. Any beds not in use after midday were available to anyone without booking. Very easy to log into the WiFi too. All the Staff we encounteted were very attentive throughout the whole hotel and nothing was too much trouble, David at the pool bar was lovely. We will definitely be back and have no reservations recommending this hotel to family and friends
A lovely hotel have been several times, with any problems at all, however this visit for our Anniversary was very disspointing, clearly lost its mojo in the culinary department, breakfast was most deffinately the meal of the day although food was not always hot enough, lunch and dinner was terrible very poor choices, if you are a fan of stews and casseroles you will be happy, never hot and frequently empty trays, food show cooked and served on dishes were just about warm and frequently empty, most trays of food were just warm even fries! Deserts just dont bother poor choices, a mouse with a biscuit on top absolutey not, cost is upermost here, not paying over £2275 for a week to be offered meals of this standard in a 4* hotel. Needless to say this hotel has been crossed off our favourite list
Fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean with friendly staff. A special mention to Valeri and Oleksii on reception who were warm and engaging throughout our stay. We were very lucky to have beautiful 25-30 degrees sunshine all week, which meant we enjoyed time by the pool. The pool area was very clean, the pools themselves were refreshing from the sun with one side heated and one side slightly cooler. We went for half board and were not disappointed by the evening meals. Plenty of options from a themed menu every night, I don't remember seeing so much choice in one place! The room had a sea view and was spacious. The only thing to note is we were on Atico level and the WiFi did not reach the room very well. We will definitely be back.
We stayed here for a week and were left disappointed with the stay. Our room was on the 4th floor and must have been below the 5th floor restaurant as it was so noisy just before 7am til about 10am and the 3pm onwards with trolleys being wheeled, chairs dragged and banging of pots, plates etc. made having a lie in or afternoon nap impossible. The pool was nice and easy enough to reserve sun beds. Breakfast was average - good choice but lukewarm. Juices were artificial tasting and coffee poor. We tried the buffet tea once which was enough - all dishes basically cold and £6.50 for a Pepsi max. We didn’t return and ate out every other night. Overall we wouldn’t return.
This is a great hotel the staff are very friendly. We were on all inclusive deal And the food and drinks were good and had nothing to complain about. Also the system they use for the sun beds is very good as we did not have to fight to get one in the morning. If there was one thing to improve would be the book of the sun bed on the last day of our stay as we had a late flight and would be there most of the day. The late room check out was good as well Just had to check on the last day. So all in all very good experience and will definitely be going again PS The weather was very good.
Great hotel. Super food. In fact food was amazing. Service was good and the whole resort spotless. Bit daunting when you arrive as it’s a big hotel and takes time to acquaint yourself with where you are and where to go! Platinum is a deffo! Pool and bar are lovely up on the sun terrace. Entertainment is good and daytime activities are good too. Bar service was fast and courteous. Two things to watch for…. In the Roast restaurant you’ll get charged a surcharge for ordering steak. This I found annoying as we did pay for an upgrade and feel this should include the top steaks. Be careful on the app that you book the correct sun beds. We booked by mistake the Bali beds on the sun terrace instead of the platinum and got charged 20euros for a bed that we never sat on. Argued the point with reception but as we want to return ended up paying for it… lesson learnt. Great hotel. TUI rep was not around much and not much help. Sat on the TUI bus for almost an hour when we arrived. Get your own taxi. 20-30 euro and you’re there in 20 minutes. The TUI bus takes ages to get around every hotel! Almost missed our transport back to the airport due to being given wrong info! TUI rep I think was there just for show as couldn’t help us with much. Too busy talking to her friend on her phone to help out! Overall great holiday. Definitely will go back. Great hotel, service and food. TUI need to be on the ball a bit more though! People would easily get in a pickle for info etc from TUI.
This is a nice hotel, and the staff without exception are friendly and welcoming. The food is good, though we've stayed in smaller hotels that offer more variety for the 'theme meals' each night. We were FB and the breakfasts were enjoyable (honeycomb was a nice treat). The Roast restaurant is really nice food, once every 4 days, and worth a trip. There is entertainment every evening which was varied and good, and the waiter drinks service helps you to enjoy yourselves. The basic rooms are Travelodge standard, though I heard the Platinums were good (as was their separate dining). The hotel has a lovely view out to sea and of the sunsets every evening, though its sited towards the 'Blackpool' part of the resort. Overall, decent value for money.
We have just returned from nine nights at this impressive adults only hotel. The location on Fenabe beach is excellent with an impressive front and a gate straight onto the beach front top level. I did read reviews about lower rooms that look onto the beach front potentially being noisy and people can look straight in, so I requested a higher floor and was delighted with the room. The hotel is stunning and the pool is on a higher floor with views over the sea. There is a sunbed booking system in the morning which works well, knowing that we had sun beds ready after breakfast, if you didn't book there is an attendant to help you. After 12 noon all sunbeds become available and there are loads around the pool. Our room was the standard double and very comfortable, Jose cleaned the room to a high standard every day and left a bottle of water. The food in the buffet was very varied and excellent, as we were staying for 9 nights we went to the a la carte on two evenings which didn't have the widest choice but was calm. There was evening entertainment in the hotel but we prefer to visit different places so didn't experience this but others said it was good. There is a premium club with benefits for guests in the most expensive rooms but we didn't qualify so I can't comment. This was my first time at this hotel and I will definitely book again when returning to Costa Adeje.
Very Overrated and Extremely Disappointing We booked two Platinum Junior Suites (one for me and one for my mum) and paid at the front desk on arrival. That turned out to be a big mistake. Our luggage was taken down to the basement level of the hotel via a ridiculously steep ramp. The moment we arrived on that floor we were hit with a strong sewage smell. When we asked reception about it, the only explanation we got was “pump,” and due to the language barrier it was impossible to get a proper answer. Unfortunately, this smell wasn’t a one-off – it happened every single day. We asked to move rooms but suddenly the hotel was “fully booked.” Conveniently, a different room only became available the day before we were due to leave, which didn’t exactly help our stay. Communication at reception was very difficult due to poor English, and basic information about the hotel and what was included in the Platinum package was never clearly explained. The Platinum package supposedly gives you access to the Platinum Club, a rooftop pool, and the Roast Club restaurant. However, ordering food was frustrating because again the language barrier made it difficult. On top of that, bookings are required, which means you’re essentially expected to eat there for both breakfast and dinner. The Farm Market restaurant was actually much better – more relaxed and buffet-style so you can come and go when you want. The location is great, right next to the beach, which is probably the hotel’s biggest positive. Evening entertainment was mostly okay, although the circus show is definitely one to avoid. Activities like yoga, Pilates, and archery are available and were enjoyable, although a bit slow-paced. The hotel is adults only, which some people will like. One positive worth mentioning: our room was cleaned daily and the maid was fantastic. However, the noise levels were unbelievable. The fun club and beach restaurant create constant loud music and banging. At times it honestly sounded like there was a drummer in the room with us. My mum’s room was even closer and she barely slept the whole holiday. If you want a drink, be prepared to stand in a long queue at the bar. The pools are nice, but nothing special. We booked a massage before travelling, which I highly recommend doing because it was half the price compared with booking once you arrive at the hotel. After travelling, we arrived hungry and tired and it took a long time before anyone could even tell us where to get food. Eventually we were sent to the outside bar – where the oven was broken – so our only option was two boxed tuna salads. Not exactly the welcome you expect from a so-called Platinum experience. Overall, this hotel is very overrated and nowhere near the luxury experience it advertises. Between the sewage smell, the noise, poor communication, and lack of customer care, this stay was extremely disappointing. Would not return and would not recommend.
Tho she’s been our 5th visit to this amazing hotel. It’s a very weird feeling walking back into the hotel after being away for a year. The best analogy would be that you have been on a day trip somewhere and just returned. Our room A109 was fantastic and I can’t find any faults apart from one, and that is the early evening entertainment was always a pleasure to listen to before the main event. Why has this part been scrapped in favour of bingo? Our experience of the food in the food market has no faults and I must praise the staff for their dedicated professionalism, plus the best roast turkey I have ever eaten. Honestly it melted in your mouth. Great food, great rooms, great staff and delightful hotel.
Absolutely amazing, fantastic hotel, staff are brilliant, whole place is spotlessly clean, great selection of food. Best holiday ever, will definitely be back next year. Paradise. Unfortunately the airport wasn’t so great, nearly two hours to get through.
Very hard to fault this hotel. As soon as you walk in the grand entrance, everything is beautiful. The pool area is rrally nice, sun bed booking system on the app. We were bed and breakfast, and the breakfast is superb, every option imaginable. Great location, with a private gate out onto the sea front promenade. Lovely staff. We had a standard double room, I just asked for a low room due to fear of heights and got exactly what we wanted. Only slight negatives, towels at the pool only avaliable for change at lunchtime. And no real evening entertainment which I guess would be good if you're all inclusive. But highly recommended hotel
Brilliant hotel , its so clean ! Staff are really attentive and so friendly. The gym is great. The food is the best thing. You have got to check this hotel out!
The hotel is well situated and well appointed, the roast restaurant was excellent and the food far superior than the main restaurant. The food in the main restaurant was plentiful but far too many choices and was only barely warm and not piping hot. There should be less choice, but better quality and more efficient food warmers to keep the food hot. Ensure the safe is used in the room as my wife’s purse mysteriously disappeared.
This is our 9th year of visiting this lovely hotel . Its beautiful location. You are welcomed when you arrive and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Over the years we have had many rooms, spacious and beds are so comfy we are not in the room alot so much to do. We love the booking system of sun beds so easier to do on the app. We love the buffet style of eating so many choices . Over the years Adeje us changing a little but I hope the Guayarmina never does. See you again soon we hope
Arrived very late last night due to flight delay. The had requested a quiet room via TUI and I had also emailed the hotel direct. What did we get room 1019 by the promenade! Customer service on arrival was very poor. We were given a map to find our room and nobody to help with luggage. No explanation how to get the app I had read about for booking subbed or restaurants! Paid just under £6000 for two weeks platinum junior suite and all we can see is a wooden fence and people walking by. Asked about a quiet room, was offered level 2 still on the prom or level 3 (available on the 5th March). No welcome drink. So far very disappointed let’s hope our experience of this grand looking hotel improves!
I am trying to rent a Mobility Scooter for 5 days, days 2 - 6 of 7 day holiday in June 2026. The Guayarmina Princess Hotel I've booked is saying that the mobility scooter must be parked outside the hotel, and they will charge 3 Euros a day to use their electricity to re charge the battery. Has anyone got a recommendation for a reliable company that will deliver a single seater four wheel scooter to the hotel?
Our third visit to lovely hotel, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds are really comfortable and the food is delicious.
Spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel right next to the seas and promenade. Busy place but good access to facilities. Buffet meals, breakfasts good but evening meals variable. Lots of selection but quite a bit of what was served was tasteless. Needs sampling and seasoning prior to serving. Fish exceptionally good. Our last night, very little to offer our tastes. À la carte in the Roast was not appreciatively different than the buffet, except in quantities so wouldn’t bother upgrading. Puddings synthetic and sickly sweet in the main. Have to pay for water with food. So noisy at nights and we had to get air plugs as entertainment went on til 11.45! Not sure the entertainment actually aligned to the average age group in the hotel.
From checking in (Ricardo) was so helpful and welcoming , plus the little appetizer was very nice , we had 2 junior suites both of which were perfect. The atmosphere at the hotel is again welcoming, all staff are excellent nice greetings, smiles, nothing is to trouble for them , bar staff work really hard , pool and sunbathing areas very clean , bed reservations worked perfectly well, along with dining reservations making sure you got times to suit your requirements Entertainment was really good every evening. Location is good , directly on sea front , plus rear exit at hotel directly on walkway All in all it was a lovely holiday so much so already booked next year Would highly recommend
The location was great giving lots of places to walk. The service in the bars and restaurants were generally good. Being able to book a subbed was a great idea. However booking breakfast etc was although understandable a bit restrictive and a couple of times the specials had run out. Given the location on the promenade it was surprisingly quiet. Although it was February. The view from my room (2028) wasn’t that good. I was opposite the back entrance and dustbins. I would also advise asking for the third floor so you’re not level with the street
A lovely 11 days at Guayarmina Princess. This is our fourth stay here and can’t wait to go back. The food was fantastic - we stayed platinum. Staff as always were so pleasant and friendly. The accommodation is modern, bright and very comfortable. A great stay, thanks.
The Platinum club Junior suite rooms should be better located, rather than on the 1st and 2nd floor opposite a very busy, noisy street with loud music until midnight
What rating do you give a hotel where you can't find fault, and where on the first day they give you a room that doesn't suit you at all? When making a direct reservation on the hotel's website in 08/2025. I write this: "I would have just one wish, if you could grant it to me. Could I have a room facing south? I love the sun on the balcony and I would be very happy if you could make it possible for me. It is on the side of the hotel, which faces the Iberostar Sabila hotel. I don't care about the sea view, nor what type of room it is; I just care that the balcony of the room faces the sun." I think it is clear to everyone from the above that my satisfaction with the hotel will depend on whether I get a room facing south. Before describing what happened next, it should be said that this hotel has more than 70% of rooms that face at least partially south. Of these, there are at least 50 rooms that do not have a sea view, they look out onto a noisy street and onto the 2nd hotel.....which would be perfectly fine with me, because those rooms face directly south. So, when I got to the reception, they told me that they had upgraded me to a room on the top floor, which has a beautiful sea view. As soon as I realized that part of the hotel faces north, I asked if they could give me a room with a south view, even if it looked out onto the street or onto the 2nd hotel, and I mentioned that I specifically asked for a room with a south view. To that, they nonchalantly said that they were 90% booked and that they could only give me that room. I tried talking to another person at the reception afterwards, but there was no help. I am convinced that at least half of the 50 rooms that did not have a sea view, but did face south, would have been happy to have my room, because the room I got was at least 2 classes above the one I asked for. The hotel staff should have just read my reservation note and given me a room with a south view and put someone else on the top floor. After that first complete disappointment, where I had to come to terms with an inadequate room, I could also rate the hotel's services. This time I'll start with the bad, and there aren't many of them. The room has old, cracked floor tiles in places, which contrast with the rest of the beautifully decorated room. The parking is also a problem, which is no longer as common in Tenerife as it used to be. Anyone who hasn't been to Tenerife in 10 years will be shocked by the number of cars. There are constant traffic jams and queues on the roads, and parking is almost impossible to find even 500 meters from the hotel. The hotel itself offers parking in a garage for €15/day, but that doesn't really make sense when you paid €20/day for a car rental with full insurance. That's where the bad things stop. The hotel is an architectural marvel.....beautifully built. The location is perfect. The rooms are quite large, clean and tidy. The area around the pool is nicely decorated and there are always free sunbeds. The pool is heated to about 27 C, which is ideal for swimming in January.....most other hotels heat their pools to 22-24 C. The restaurant is large and there is no waiting for breakfast and dinner, and the food is at the level of a 5* hotel. And the hotel guests, although mostly 60+, have a special vibe, so the entire hotel gathers for the evening show, and the daily animations are also well attended. It is also worth mentioning the price, which is among the highest for a 4* hotel in Tenerife, but with all the above, they justify the price......the only thing is that they are not so irresponsible when assigning rooms. So far I have been to more than 100 hotels around the world, 12 of which are in the Canaries alone, and this is one of the best hotels......which I will give a rating of 3. Why 3? To try to understand a simple rule: If a guest really wants something, and it does not exceed his room booking class, then that wish must be honored. Would I go back to the hotel? Certainly, if they promise me in writing that I will get a room with a south view.
This is a stunning hotel in a great location close to everything you could need with a back gate situated a few minutes from the beach and just a short walk to lots of bars, restaurants and shops.Stayed all inclusive in a side sea view room with balcony,it was spacious and the cleaners were brilliant, they always did a perfect job.All the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a great selection of food and drinks throughout the day,and always found something delicious at the buffet. We've only been back a few days but we were so impressed with the hotel and all the staff that we are already thinking of booking for next year.
We booked Full Board rather than AI, I’m pleased we did this as the AI was very restricted, No Cocktails and other restrictions, the TUI Rep actually confirmed it was not VFM. The food in the buffet restaurant was fine, witnessed food temperatures being taken often and smaller buffet dishes which were replaced regularly. As part of our stay we were entitled to a meal in their specialist restaurant Roast, in my opinion stick to the buffet, foods better and a nicer environment. The Imagine Bar is where the entertainment is held in the evening, quite comfortable apart from the door to outside left open and the smell of cigarette smoke coming in. The entertainment itself was typical club singers. Our room was on the 9th floor overlooking the hotel entrance, it was fairly quiet, actually a lot better than the sea view rooms in my opinion. The room was small but well laid out. Tea/coffee, fridge and a decent hairdryer, and was absolutely spotless. My only complaint about the room is the distinct lack of privacy, the bathroom was open to the room with only some areas of frosted glass, no bathroom door and a frosted sliding door to the actual toilet. Not for me thank you. Also there was no door on the wardrobe. Location is very good. Would I return to this hotel……yes but on a b&b basis, if that is an option.
Everything was perfect apart from the miserable staff!
Holidays and hotels are very personal choices so do your research before you book. We stayed 1 week half board in a sea view room and had a lovely week. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive, the food was of good quality and variety, the cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Used the gym which was excellent too. Cannot comment on the sun-beds as our total use was about 5 hours the whole week. We walked miles and miles, saw local villages and Instagram worthy cafes. Ate out at local restaurants which were great too. From walking around the hotel and seeing the many rooms available, I personally would have been disappointed with a room below floor 5. We were on floor 7 above Imagine bar, noise from the entertainment didn’t impact our stay. We would return as long as we could choose our room. Thanks to all the staff for a great time!
Lovely hotel and great stay. Only downside was that I accidentally left some clothes in the room after departure. Called the hotel to explain, however, little to no help was given. Was continually told to call again after an hour or that someone would be in touch but nothing came. Seems like they may have been taken by housekeeping and not stored in lost property.
Location lovely Rooms lovely Certain staff member very rude and angry throwing stuff in kitchen we didnt eat in hotel again ate out spoilt our holiday we have been there 4 times and loved it apart from the roast staff member
This was my 4th visit to this hotel and each visit has been junior suite platinum apart from this year when we upgraded to a platinum suite. We were allocated room 3016 which is at the side overlooking the promenade and steps up to the Sabila Hotel and the Moonlight pub , the room was lovely and very spacious however it was extremely noisy due to its location and we had a major issue with ants. We reported this to reception and give them their due we had cleaners at the room within minutes who asked if we were going to be leaving the room and we said we were going for our evening meal at which time they stated they would deal with the issue. We had to report the same issue two days later and again we were told that it would be dealt with to have to re -report the same issue two days later, at that point we we were asked if we wished to move room but stated no as it was our second last night and it would have meant having to pack up all our clothes, we were told again that the room would be treated. Unfortunately on our last full night and the morning of our departure we again had to report the issue , we feel that they really have to close that room down for it to be really cleaned and disinfected. We do love this hotel and the staff are wonderful particularly Nelson in the Imagine bar , his staff work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is looked after . The staff in the Platinum restaurant also deserve to praised for their service.
Arrived a few days ago, we upgraded to platinum club for the reason we like a premium drink and food and a nice room The room is basic but clean, constantly noisy from next hotels generator and not a sea view. Whilst we can cope with not sitting on a nice balcony we feel the upgrade was a total waste of money especially when it comes to a regular premium drink, most are not and what is on offer is extremely diluted, we would rather have one nice gin tonic in the evening that several awful ones. Customer relations is a waste of time, unapproachable and honestly rude. Such a pity
Excellent stay! The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. Would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the experience. The location is excellent, close to everything you could need. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The pools and sunlounger areas were well managed and enjoyable. Breakfast had a huge choice and great quality. The nightly entertainment was sometimes very good.
After visiting for many years, although the hotel is mostly good, we have noticed a definite decline in certain areas. Food not as good , and not enough restaurant staff on a morning, and dirty plates not cleared off occupied tables. Main bug bear is entertainment. Previously 2 main acts per night of good quality, now only 1 main act, some of which aren't good, & also Bingo & Karaoke some nights before & after main act which is something I would expect from a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star. Also ABBA who are only on for 45 mins, talk for 10 mins going through countries of the world asking where everyone is from, why is this necessary? They could have sang another 3 songs in the meantime. I feel this hotel is giving less quality than previously, to cut costs, but charging more. Please bring back the old entertainment with 2 acts per night, which was a much better standard.
We were very impressed with this hotel. We stayed in room 9018, excellent sea views and very quiet. My wife requires a firm mattress and found the mattress on the bed too soft. Reception promptly arranged for a firmer mattress to be delivered to our room. All the hotel staff were fantastic, always smiling and keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our stay was on an all inclusive basis which is worth the extra if you enjoy a drink with meals etc. We enjoyed most of the food offered. We always eat early so the self service restaurant was always quiet, however it does get very busy later. Restaurant staff were excellent removing your empty plates promptly delivering drinks etc. We were so impressed with the hotel and staff that we booked directly with the hotel for next year. Nicholas at reception went the extra mile showing us a number of room options thus ensuring we booked the room most suited to our needs and requirements. Thank you Nicholas. In summary, location and staff excellent but be aware noise at night can be an issue depending on room location.
Fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel. Food very good. Our only issue was reception staff attitude just need to be more understanding and friendly
Lovely hotel. Food was excellent. I don't eat meat and the variety of fish and vegetarian options were exceptional.
The hotel is in a superb location . It is well organised and everything runs smoothly. We had a large room which was spotless. Clean towels were provided each day and toiletries in the bathroom. There was a kettle and fridge in the room. The only disappointment was that our terrace was always in the shade. Food was excellent, I am Coeliac and I was well catered for. The sunbed booking system is useful and effective. The entertainment was good. We had a wonderful time and we will return.
Just returned from this’s hotel and we feel a little let down by what we was sold and what we got, we upgraded to a suite and premium package that states you can enjoy premium drinks from 10.30 to 11 pm, well no premium Brandy at all, no premium pink gin, in fact they did have but you had to pay, so advertising they offer premium drinks is a sham. I complained to out Tui rep that offered me £47 for the holiday that would cover 1 brandy a day. When I questioned her about the fact they advertised they offered premium drinks and did not she said that’s why I’m giving you a brandy every day. Don’t go premium it’s a con. I then spoke to the desk at the hotel who then put on to the guest relations manager Amuriick,he was very aggressive and said that is the rules of the hotel we can offer what drinks we want and there are plenty of other drinks to choose, I might add all watered down Spanish shirts with look alike bottles.. I asked to talk with a manager as I could not talk with this man as he was so aggressive , he said no you can’t they don’t Talmud to customers that’s my job, and as a result I left the desk. Our room looked out on the hotel and an old ditch and we could not keep the door open as the drum of the air conditioning from the hotel next door was like an airplane landing. On a positive note I can say the staff was all good apart from the above and the food was very good, so we made the most of our holiday but won’t be returning, I just wanted to let others know not to expect too much regarding the drinks and just go all inclusive as you get the same as others. Advertised as a 4.5 star hotel by Tui, but it’s on all the notice boards as a 4 star hotel.
We have holidayed for many years in Tenerife and we found the Guayarmina the best by far. The restaurants and food were of a very high quality and with a beautiful ambiance. In all we had a wonderful experience and will go back again.
Stunning hotel in a great location. Amazing food, spacious room and balcony, great atmosphere for the whole stay, very friendly staff - i will definitely be back! No excess noise and very clean over the whole hotel
Stayed three weeks on all inclusive . Overall an excellent hotel . All staff greeted you with a smile and excellent service . The food selection in the buffet was of a good standard and plenty of choice. The roast restaurant was ok but nothing special . Only negative was we booked a twin room with TUI and was given a double . I was sharing with my dad so this was not ideal . Also the noise between seven pm and ten pm from the kitchen below sounded like road works . After a week the TUI rep when approached immediately arranged a twin room and quitter outside noise . Other people had the same issue that had booked a twin room and given a double . You expect what unpaid for . It’s not a cheap hotel Overall an excellent all inclusive adults hotel . The staff put in lot of effort in all departments to delivery exceptional customer service . Well done to you all . Used the sun set bar every day and the waiter bar man was excellent and delivered a great service with a smile and a joke. Thank you x
This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Both years we were allocated a 1st floor junior suite (platinum ) , which is on the promenade level .. with a view of a fence and very, very loud music from luuma bar , which went on til 12 am every night … so no relaxing , early nights for us.! we paid to be moved to the 6th floor last year which was quieter , However we felt that we shouldn’t have to pay to relocate this time , as we had already spent upwards of £3500 on the holiday … but apparently no other rooms were available for free for us to swap to , but we could of paid to upgrade again to a bigger suite 🤔 Now the good stuff …. the hotel is in a great location , is nice and clean and the entertainment , style of rooms and food were all good. Lots of bars and restaurants close by …. staff were fabulous , our cleaner Patricia was friendly and did a wonderful job in our room . Gym is good , but no air con …. And the app is great for booking sunbeds and restaurants …. I would say if you are booking here to email the hotel directly to request a room on a higher level ..level 6 and upwards . Wish I had of done that ! unfortunately we won’t be returning next year .
Home after an excellent week here arrived on the Friday evening no problem at the check in we had upgraded to the platinum well worth the money we had room 2014 great room only problem was the loud music from bar across the road would like a a higher floor next time. We had breakfast in the platinum restaurant every morning it was excellent . For the evening meals we ate 3 times at the platinum restaurant and the roast restaurant 3 times both restaurants served high quality food with great service a special mention to Ana at the platinum restaurant who was very efficient and helpful as were her staff. All the staff in hotel very friendly apart from 1 grumpy barman .The whole hotel was very clean the entertainment was very good but difficult to get a seat inside all in all a great holiday at a great hotel we will certainly be back.
Nice location. Lovely room. The hotel was well maintained and very clean. Friendly staff. Adult only was very welcome! Ample sunbeds and good online booking system. Fantastic gym, small heated pool and larger unheated pool. Right on the coast so easy access to the main coastal paved route and beach. Certainly the best hotel in the area.
We were here this time last year and also had the platinum club room on the second floor facing the outside restaurant wall,no decent view, when we left last year I asked if their were other parts of the hotel with platinum club rooms and was told yes,so when we checked in this time and given floor 2 facing outside restaurants again I asked to be moved to a different part of the hotel but was told these are the platinum rooms, the staff in all areas are 1st class, the rooms well kept and all the facilities good but I’m not a fussy eater but struggled to find meals I can say I really enjoyed,I like soup but only once did they have one I liked and repeated the same soup many times, went to the roast but didn’t think it was much better than the buffet restaurant, the AI cocktails I’d give a 5 out of 10 and my favourite one a mojito which you now have to pay for was one of the worst I’ve paid for,for the price we paid I wouldn’t have expected to be looking at a restaurant wall,I’d return again but on a B&B board
Stayed here to celebrate a special roundy birthday with my husband in early Jan 26. Had a lovely time despite both of us getting a tummy bug. Hotel is very good, clean and the staff are very nice. Water in the room everyday would be a plus though. Access to the beach is excellent and the food is v good. We hope to come back again next year and upgrade to Platinum.
Booked this fab hotel for my husbands 60th birthday, the hotel, restaurant & all the staff were excellent, the waiting staff were very attentive, the food in the platinum club restaurant was excellent well prepared presented, our suite was spotlessly clean & very comfortable. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.
We have just returned from a 5 sleepless night stay at this hotel and stayed in room 2010 Junior Platnium Suite. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed the experience these rooms offer but on this occasion it was not the case, this time our room was directly opposite the Lumma bar/restaurant/nightclub, which played really really loud thumping music every night until the early hours of the morning. We reported this to an extremely rude receptionist on our first night and she did nothing to try and help apart from saying we’d got the room we had paid for, we called again the next morning and also went to reception who did nothing to resolve the issue or offer an apology. The air conditioning also was nonexistent and we had to fix the fridge ourselves. The whole experience is totally overpriced and although they are advertised as being on promenade/boulevard level there is no warning whatsoever of the boom boom music from the night club. As I say we have stayed in rooms on the same level before and have never experienced a problem. An acknowledgment from the hotel would be nice and the extremely rude receptionist should be reprimanded for her careless attitude, after all we were the customer who had paid an awful lot of money for one of the worst holidays we have ever.
Lovely hotel great food and staff, recommend this hotel for its location, ambiance and friendliness of the staff, nice pool
Fabulous holiday fabulous hotel great and friendly staff we will be definitely going back it was fantastic from beginning to end
We have stayed at the Guayarmina Princess many times and have been there twice this year. As always our stay last week was amazing. The hotel is wonderful the staff are all pleasant and very helpful. The hotel rooms, restaurant, pool areas and all public places are clean and maintained to a high standard. From time to time we have tried different hotels in the Canarsies but I always go back to the Guayarmina Princess because there is no comparison. We will definitely be booking to go again for next year
I don’t really post reviews unless something is absolutely top notch. This hotel has class, appeal and is nothing short of 5 star. I could only book for a few nights as full and had to move elsewhere to another 4 star which is not a patch on this. Defo worth while going for a platinum junior suit, the facilities are brilliant and a nice wee touch between 5-6pm for a “Happy Hour” treat with nibbles and drinks…. Great end to your day I am quite hard to please and make a return but this place is one I want to return to yearly Brilliant from start to finish Thank you
The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are huge, well designed with everything provided and very comfortable beds. All facilities were fantastic and I couldn't believe the extent of the food choices offered at each meal! Wonderful staff too. I'd happily holiday there again.
This was our first visit to Tenerife in 32 years and we had a thoroughly enjoyable week in this hotel, which was well run with efficient and attentive staff. We upgraded to all-inclusive Platinum, offering the benefits of an excellent drinks package and more extensive menu than the buffet restaurant. The food overall especially in the Platinum restaurant was excellent. Our rooms were large and well-appointed with a huge bed, much larger than our king size. Despite overlooking bars and restaurants next to the beach the room was quiet. The only minor criticism of the room was the large bath located in the main room itself. Whilst it was a novelty, it did pose a bit of a hazard when making your way to the toilet in the middle of the night after having made full use of the drinks package . The hotels entertainment whilst mixed in terms of quality was generally good and better than most I’ve experienced, with guests readily becoming involved. However our enjoyment of the evenings were on occasion somewhat spoiled by the number of inconsiderate smokers. For a reason I don’t fully understand the hotel appears to have designated smoking as the norm with non-smokers in the minority. My rationale for this observation is that there was a small non-smoking area designated next to the cocktail bar. It would be preferable if this was a designated smoking area with the rest of the area non-smoking hence me not rating the hotel as 5*. Overall we had an excellent time and would have no hesitation returning to this hotel.
This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. Our room on the eighth floor was lovely, the food excellent and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for a third visit in the future.
A great location for a beach holiday right in the center of town. The hotel was lovely, spacious rooms and private balconies. The food options were really good, although I wasn’t expecting to pay for water with the meals! The evening entertainment was fun, there was a buzz about the place. The sun-beds are really close together so we opted for the beach. We went half board which suited us perfectly.
We had a beautiful experience at the PG hotel, we stayed for a week in Platnium (which I highly recommend) for our honeymoon. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind, the room was lovely and the hotel & grounds were incredible. You download an app when you arrive to book your sunbeds and resturants. You can only book a day in advance. 9/10 we got the sunbeds we wanted but the Platinum area does fill up quickly so you have to be proactive. There are 3 restaurants to eat from (if you are Platnium) be aware that The Roast books up super fast so you need to be on it. The variety of food was great and drink choices was good although I was surprised that a lot of the cocktails were not part of the all inclusive (the ones I liked anyway) We had a junior suite with a front facing sea view room, beautiful room, would maybe have preferred a balcony a bit higher up as we did look onto the resturants below that could be quite noisy. Overall, it was a brilliant experience and id happily go back.
Excellent customer service, lovely hotel and food, good entertainment, helpful staff and a beautiful location Only issue being not informed of their app on arrival that informs you of the daily activities, sunbed booking etc.
Hotel is really good. This is our third visit, but as a returning guest this time the room was not as nice as the previous two times. We do not enjoy ground level rooms with no view of the sea or the pool. Entertainment was generally good, but was very hit and miss. We could always find something to eat at the restaurant, but needed to go externally on a few occasions. Staff was excellent. If we return next time it will have to be a high room with a balcony.
Absolutely first class hotel. Just returned from out first visit to this hotel & really couldn't find any fault. Hotel is spotless. We had a side view sea room on the attic floor, stunning views & so comfortable. We were half board & the food was fantastic, especially the breakfast. We chose to eat out some evenings as we like to sample the local restaurants. The hotel is right on the beach & well positioned for walks & restaurants. The staff were great, so friendly & helpful. Evening entertainment was very good too which is rare. Sunbed booking system is brilliant, wish all hotels did this. All in all we can't wait to go back.
We’ve just returned from an 8-day stay at the Guayarmina Princess Hotel. Overall, we were really happy with our experience — the hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the buffet restaurant was consistently good. However, given the price we paid for the all-inclusive experience, we did feel there were a few cost-cutting measures that took away from what could have been an exceptional stay. With a few small improvements, this hotel could easily go from good to brilliant. Positives: The staff were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offered great variety and quality food. The Roast restaurant was lovely, though we would have preferred a full à la carte experience rather than buffet-style starters and desserts. The sunbed booking system was excellent — such a great idea! We requested a centrally located room before our arrival, and the hotel kindly accommodated us with room 7044 (though it was close to the kitchen vents on the balcony). Areas for Improvement: The complimentary minibar in the room was a nice touch, but it wasn’t restocked during our stay. Two beers and two cava bottles don’t exactly feel “luxury” for an all-inclusive package. There was only a kettle in the room — no coffee pod machine, which was disappointing. Most comparable hotels now provide one. The all-inclusive cocktail selection was very limited. We had to pay extra for basic drinks like an Aperol Spritz, and the O2 Pool Bar didn’t serve any cocktails at all. In the main dining room, there’s a large Nespresso machine — but you have to pay extra to use it and we never saw anyone do so. Also the coffee from the regular machines was quite poor and this needs addressing. We hope the hotel takes this feedback on board. These are simple, easy-to-fix issues that could make a real difference. Unless these changes are made, we probably wouldn’t return — which would be a real shame, because this hotel has so much potential.
Just finished an amazing 7 days here. We were in a platinum junior suite. Room was beautiful and spacious. The hotel itself is beautiful. Pools are stunning. I loved the app to book the sunbeds. But special mention has to go to the staff. The friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever been to. So friendly and efficient. The cleaners were excellent. The bar staff, wait staff, reception staff, concierge....amazing. We honestly have never met nicer staff. It was such a lovely holiday. We'll 100% be returning.
Absolutely brilliant. There is nothing we could criticise the hotel for. Every aspect was friendly, professional, and of a good standard. So much so, we have already booked to go back year in October 2026! (Hopefully in our old room 3002) (p.s. Perhaps one thing that could be improved: on one night, the evening entertainment Lady GaGa tribute act might have been a tribute to someone, but to Lady GaGa it was not!! 🤣 Otherwise, we were very happy with all the other acts.)
We had the most amazing 7 nights at this hotel. We would highly recommend it. Definitely will return. 10/10 Right beside the beach and lovely walks. The area is so nice too. The food in hotel was top quality always had lovely meal. The Roast Restaurant which we ate in one evening was really good too it’s definitely worth it. Can’t wait to return.
We stayed here for a week for my 60th Birthday and enjoyed every minute. The whole place is outstanding in every way. Great tasting food, fabulous staff always happy and helpful with good humour. Pool is wonderful and warm with activities if needed. Bedroom was spotless each day we had room 7025 a big corner room overlooking the street to the left of reception which was ideal positioning for everything. Night time was good but feel entertainment could be a lot better considering cost and reputation of this fabulous hotel. The cocktails AI were fantastic even black russians included. We booked the special meal overlooking the sea approx £48 euros each but wow totally worth it and amazing food. Made us feel very special for my 60th thank you so much for that and the cava chilled in our room. Aircon could be colder everywhere but it was very humid all week. The areas around the hotel are quite hilly & steps but helped burn our calories off 😆. The one visit to the roast was nice but expected more. All in all the only thing I didn’t like was the lack of privacy with the bathroom sliding door which had a big gap in it when closed. I would say 99.9 % perfection. Thanks again it was a wonderful stay. Best wishes from Kim & David xx
It started from the moment that we arrived. We were greeted with drinks and a helpful concierge. Wristbands act as both a room key and access to food and drink. Particular shout out to David in the Platinum bar who was cheerful and helpful in teaching us Spanish. Also special mention to Oana in The Roast and The Platinum restaurant for going above and beyond. There are a range of bars and eateries that are all excellent. The app allows you to book dinners and Bali beds. There is a spa and hairdressers for those that need it. The gate on the first floor allows access to the sea promenade; and the sixth floor reception allows access to the designer shops. A short walk away to the marina; and Los Cristianos beyond
Hotel staff extremely friendly, cleanliness of everything was amazing. The resort is very beautiful and is situated in such a great area. The food buffet was the best part, everyday they had different foods & the quality of the food was extremely high, they made fresh croissants every morning which were amazing.
Good match with the images that were shown before. We got what we expected.
Platinum is so worth it. Access to all areas and we found it very much worth it. Staff amazing especially poula in the evening bar, so much fun and very attentive. Fantastic evening entertainment. Plenty of choices of food and drink to suit everyone. All my review is based on platinum experience ☺️
5 Stars – Beautiful Hotel with Amazing Food and Views We had a fantastic stay at Guayarmina Princess. The hotel is stunning, in a perfect beachfront location with amazing sunset views. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous — spacious, modern, and spotless. The food was a real highlight. We loved the lamb and beef burger at Roast, and the steak in the Platinum restaurant was delicious. There was plenty of variety and everything was high quality. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to return!
Very Nice Hotel with a Great Access to the Beach and Great Location at all! Especially the Bar was amazing - Apel best Cocktails ever!
Hi this was our second stay at your beautiful hotel. A place I could easily call our second home . Food was great. Pool area is also good with booking of sunbeds an excellent idea. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have only one major complaint from our last stay and that was the entertainment was not outside as on our previous stay . We loved sitting outside on lovely balmy evenings and being entertained and not sitting inside in stuffy conditions. Your entertainment personal need to revert to outside . We go on holiday to enjoy the outdoors as we have to sit indoors most of the year at home Please revert back to outdoor entertainment as indoors is a major no no. So hopefully next year when we return you will have rectified this .
Lovely hotel great staff but food is not a great verity lots of nice bars and pools are good nice you can book everything on a app from your sunbeds to your restaurant
Just returned from 10 nights at this hotel, our second time to stay here and it was just fantastic. It’s such a fab hotel. I could post a couple of small gripes but I won’t because over all it was so good. For us returning and the main reasons we wanted to return was the activities/ entertainment and the staff and we were not disappointed with any of these. I want to congratulate Rachel and her team for the activities and entertainment, the tribute shows are our thing and absolutely outstanding and I want to mention in particular Kurtis and Natasha who really made our holiday the best yet. I also want to praise all of the staff but again in particular David, Pelipe and Salem who had the crack with us. I also want to thank Lola who cleaned our room to a very high standard. We can’t wait to return again.
We have just returned from 11 days at the Guayarmina Princess. This is our second visit as we went this time last year. The hotel is fabulous, it is kept impeccably clean. The staff are amazing, always smiling - they work so hard and nothing is too much trouble. We returned for another holiday after being so impressed last year but there were a couple of things that were different - the evening entertainment was indoors this year whereas last year it was outdoors. Our personal opinion was that it was far better outside, this year felt like ‘Butlins’ vibes. Our only other niggle was the food. The food is very fresh and well presented however the choice of food lacked and was a little bland. Personally I think if there were ‘themed’ evenings/ food stations it would give more choice though I do appreciate it is difficult providing for every taste. Oh and please keep the restaurant open slightly later - closing at 9pm is a tad early for some. Despite the niggles mentioned I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed adult only hotel and we will certainly be back!
Loved our stay at this hotel **** The hotel is very clean the staff work tirelessly one particular lunch time they were practically running a round the buffet restaurant as they were short staffed. Speaking of the staff they were all really friendly and were happy to have a joke with you. We stayed platinum all inclusive and were in 2026. The room was very clean and big and the bed was huge and very comfy. It faced the promenade and I had heard bad reviews about this but I can honestly say this didn’t bother us at all. It was never really noisy and we were never kept awake. The platinum service is in our opinion worth the upgrade you get to eat in the platinum restaurant and are waited on, which makes it feel a more special rather than bustling in the buffet. You are also able to use the Roast restaurant as many times as you like which is a must as the food is amazing. We did try the mixed grill for 2 one night which was amazing! You also get breakfast in the platinum restaurant as well which is also amazing! These all need to be booked using the app. The staff in all the these restaurants are friendly and happy to accommodate any request. As platinum you also get the softer Sunbeds which you can book 2 days in advance on the app. We found this a brilliant idea and it worked really well and I think other hotels should adopt this process. No getting up early to put your towels down to ensure you have a bed for the day. The pool guy is always around to assist if you haven’t managed to book and will find you what you need but after 12 any beds that are not used and free for anyone to use. You also get to use the infinity pool and bar area. We only used this once as preferred to be down in the main area. The pool was warm and clean. The hotel is located in a very convenient place just a stroll to the beach which was very nice and the sea was I thought warm. Left was the harbour and bars and shops and right takes you to a less busy area of Costa Adeje. I think my only gripe is that the cocktails included in the AI are pre mixed and not great. But Bar 1988 does serve some lovely fresh ones if you are willing to pay. I was happy that they offered Smirnoff in the AI and the wine was nice. Entertainment is hit and miss but even the not so good we still stayed and listened lol. The rock band Gotra and ABBA were very good. So all in all we had a lovely holiday and would return to this hotel. If you’re looking at booking do it I don’t think you will be disappointed.
We have been meaning to visit this hotel for a number of years but never got round to it ...it did not disappoint and i am very fussy , the staff work so hard , rooms spotless, as were the public areas , we were all inclusive platinum and had a side Seaview which was lovely we had room 5006 , food : there was always something you could eat because we were platinum we could eat in any of the resturants, booking sunbeds was heaven no early rise which is great when you are on holiday honestly couldn't fault it so well done EVERYONE team guayamira...😀
This hotel usually gets 5 stars from me, but after my last visit I've dropped a star because the evening entertainment was not good. I am a regular visitor - twice a year, but I am struggling to commit to my next visit. I don't venture out of the hotel much, I usually like this hotel in every respect but the evenings disappointed me. Please sort it out Guayarmina Princess!
Excellent Hotel, exceptionally clean friendly staff who could not do more for you. Stayed in room 9041 amazing view of the sea. Food fantastic neg done fantastic people and booked to go back next year. Highly recommend if house want a lovely relaxing holiday with lots of places near it to go Fantastic holiday and net some amazing people
Superb adults only All inclusive hotel. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, All inclusive drinks were branded spirits and branded mixer. Food was a good standard with a great freshly ordered lunch time menu in the dining area. The pool and entire complex was spotlessly clean, with polite responsive and attentive staff.
