Our second time at the hotel as a family & we always have a great time. The entertainment team are fantastic with the kids and there is always so much for them to do.
Our stay at Iberostar Waves Las Dalias was nothing short of amazing. Honestly, we couldn’t really fault anything at all. Let me break it down for you… Staff: All staff were so friendly, they’d always have a laugh and joke with you and nothing was ever too much. The atmosphere they created didn’t go unnoticed and we appreciated every one of them. Animation team: I have never been to a hotel where the entertainment team are loved as much as they are here. Even as adults with no children, we found ourselves enjoying every aspect of their effort for entertainment day and night! Shoutout to Soy and his team for really making this their priority and ensuring everyone has the best time. The whole team’s enthusiasm and energy were unmatched! Rooms and hotel areas: The room we had was a basic double, huge TV, beautiful views of the sea and mountains and quiet at night. Super clean and fresh towels and cleaning daily. General public areas around the hotel were spotless too! They really do take pride in cleaning and maintaining the area and this can be seen everywhere you go! The aircon was great however the WiFi was a little hit and miss, this did not bother us as we weren’t on holiday to be online 24/7. Food and drink: This is genuinely the best all inclusive food and drink I have experienced, surpassing 5 star hotels I have been to previously! The drinks are all premium branded and even if something isn’t on the menu, they will make this for you! They have a self service soft drinks area as well as a snack bar too which is well kept, clean and restocked often. Their buffet area in the main dining hall was clean, well kept and refreshed with so much choice even for the fussy eaters. The standout for us was the seafood night. Unlimited seafood and shellfish to your hearts content! This was the best night and on this basis alone, we would book again!!! The other clientele around the hotel were friendly and created a nice atmosphere. Most that we spoke to said they had been coming for 10+ years and we can see why. Summary: We loved this trip so much we tried to extend our stay but sadly could not change our return flight. This is a hotel where it ticks every single box. Whether you are a young or mature couple, group of friends of a family, they have something for everyone (and a high standard too!) An Absolutely outstanding experience, Tenerife and Iberostar Waves Las Dalias have definitely stolen a piece of our hearts. We’ll 100% be looking to return!
Not sure but possibly our 12th time at the Las Dalias. Food fabulous, Soi and his entertainment team are just great and the hotel and staff are just wonderful. Mary in the restaurant, Soi in the entertainment team and Hassan & Roberto in the bar were our standout people, all going the extra mile with a smile. This place is just fabulous… Thanks LD
No tips all super good great hotel
Visited here for 10 days at Easter. Food is good quality, branded drinks on all inclusive and staff really friendly. Special mention to Hassan & Sidi in the bar and all the entertainment team.
Great animation team - super with kids
Was our 3rd time here. Absolutely love it here. We upgraded to premium and felt very spoilt. Staff lovely. Entertainment team are fab. St Patrick’s day, entertainment team did very well. Food still great, you will always find something to eat 👍 Only a couple of things we were not happy with but minor but want to give constructive feedback. Our room was lovely but I don’t think it was swept the whole of our 10 day stay. Floor was very mucky. Also I know the staff in the restaurant have to replenish food/plates etc… but please be mindful of guests as some rush around like they are at F1! We are booking to come back as fabulous place for your vacation 😃 Well done to all the staff 👍 Keep up the good work 😁
The people at this hotel are very friendly which makes for a good experience. The food is average, the drinks are very good. The entertainment is hysterical and cheapens the experience. Think the “okey kokey” at 8:30pm. The pool area is very busy. The rooms are tiny and the guest floors and rooms look more like a 3*. The location is very good and we had a pleasant time. I won’t come back as we’re after something a little more refined.
This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The animations were fantastic, especially Simon, who was brilliant and kept the whole family laughing and entertained. We had a great time! Highly recommended.
The entertainment team was amazing, Szymon especially stood out - he is super friendly and polite! We loved all the activities, food and quality of service - the hotel is spectacular, perfect spot for a quick trip away! I will definitely be coming back, so much to do and so much to see!
Szymon is amazing! We had been coming here for 17 years and have just visited again for the Easter holidays. We have had an amazing time. The animation team are amazing and really make your holiday special - he is an asset to the team!
Animation team was brilliant, everything ran like clockwork, food, rooms, just thank you in general!!
Hotel clean but there is loud music EVERY night until 11pm that can be heard in every ‘sea view room’. Not suitable for children that might want to sleep before this time.
Entertainment team very good and very funny and great for all ages and family and friends
Excellent place and staff! Couldn’t ask for anything more :)
Best time ever! The entertainment team is the best ;)
Our first stay at this hotel and we would definitely return, food was lovely so much choice, hotel very clean rooms lovely , great pool area , staff were amazing at this hotel from the entertainment staff, bar staff , restaurant staff and the cleaners , everyone was just so welcoming, good choice of drinks , nuts and crisps were a good added extra with your drinks , a central location, beach down the road , would definitely recommend
We visited with our 7 month old and from start to finish the staff were exceptional. They were so kind helping and greeting our baby everyday at breakfast, around the pool and in the bar. They couldn’t do enough for you and they all work so hard. The communal areas were well looked after and very clean. Entertainment - if you want a quiet hotel this is not for you. It is a fun loud hotel with so much going on. The entertainment team work so hard and are lovely but are not pushy. There are activities for adults and children from day to night. It can be loud up until around 10:30pm. Pool - Two heated pools & baby pool was perfect temperature. You can hire pool towels and get your deposit back at the end of your stay cash only. Lots of sun beds but you get your usual reserving early morning for good spots. We were usually down by 9ish and didn’t have a problem. What was frustrating is how selfish people can be moving beds and blocking pathways which was tricky for us with our pram. Great pool bar area and on the odd day had cocktail of the day set up which was nice and refreshing. Food - we were shocked at how much choice there was here. There is something for everyone and staff cater for allergens/intolerances if you ask. The bagel station at breakfast was a nice addition to breakfast. Most drinks/spirits are branded to which isn’t always the case at All inclusive hotels. Lots of choice to with cocktails included in your AI. There is a snack bar in the pool area too. Crisps & nuts were available from the pool bar. Rooms - rooms are basic with a free safe, mini fridge, shampoo, body wash & body cream provided. Tv in the room but never turned it on. Full cot provided not a travel cot. The only issue we had was the room was not cleaned well each day and it was basic change of towels that was it. A little attention to the bathroom needed and our bin wasn’t changed everyday or room swept. It did become quite grim after a week. Iron and kettles can be hired for a fee. Noise could be heard late at night when people were returning to their room but it didn’t affect us and people are just having fun on their holidays. Overall an enjoyable stay and we hope to return. I would recommend booking a pool or sea view room. We had both in room 620.
Staff have a really friendly, helpful attitude. The food was really well labelled, delicious, varied, plenty to choose from. The staff couldn't do more for our special dietary requirements. Sarah Silva in particular was absolutely exceptional with her helpful attitude and knowledge of the food and our requirements. Carlos the chef and Adrianna were great too. All the bar and restaurant staff were so great. We thought we would be bored eating at the same place for an all inclusive offering, but far from it. Fantastic. Well done and thanks. The bedrooms could be a bit better and better sound proofing, but didnt massively affect us. Our overriding take away was how good the service was.
First time at this hotel and from the moment we stepped through the door to leaving 7days later it was paradise. All staff fantastic entertainment staff brilliant what more could you ask from a top hotel. Can’t wait to return as soon as I can one of the best holidays we’ve had. Fantastic !!!
All staff are great very friendly and funny Excellent
An amazing time! Very fun holiday
Entertainment team were great! Lots going on in hotel and food was great
Lovely time at the hotel again. Came out to meet family that flew out earlier. This is our second visit, and will not be our last. The staff are so kind, helpful and are very good at their jobs.
Great time here animation team great. 🥰♥️
Absolutely amazing holiday. Lovely place and fabulous staff.
3rd and likely last time at this Hotel. Location of Hotel is Odd is that transfer buses don’t frop you off outside. Not sure why hotel don’t just adjust the front parking/turning area to allow bus entry, but you basically get dropped off bottom of the hill and have to walk up the street to hotel. The stop is outside, bottom corner of the hotel. Entrance is around the corner and up the hill from drop-off bus stop. Checkin was quick. Free safe included, 20 euro deposit each for sunbed towels(2 cards that you exchange for towels with lifeguard). Wrist band door entry to rooms. We rejected the 1st room. Vey tired floor. Laminate flooring all wafer damaged. Images attached. 2nd room was better, but still had water damaged areas on the Laminate floor. In walking by other rooms being cleaned, noticed damaged Laminate floors common. Shabby Flooring. This hotel is dated and really needs all the hallways and rooms refurbed. Was no different maybe 3 years ago on last visit. Very dreary unimpressive walk to the rooms. Empty Fridge in room worked well. You need to remove the tape to get the shelf out to fill. Air Con was useless. Asked via Iberostar App for it to be looked at and same after. 22.5’C minimum, even though asking for min 6’C. Iberostar are very eco aware and guess they are controlling the minimum temp. Was same last year at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park in Playa Blanca and that was 5*. As with other Iberostars theres a water carafe in the room and a chilled water dispenser in the hall so no need to ask for water, or buy water for room. Maid service was good. The hotel need to ditch the ecofriendly hand cream and conditioner in the WC/Shower room. They smell like White spirit mixed whith gloss paint. Not something you want your hands or hair smelling of. Supplied Shower gel and shampoo all ok. Theres no waiter service at tables. Everything is self service apart from the walk up too bars. Ques never too long. 5 or 6 at most and service pretty quick. Bars offer olives/crisps and nuts along with drinks. Some cocktails were mixed for you, but a fair few were premixed. Local brand Baileys was not nice. Self Serve Beer and Alco free Beer was good. Cornettos, Ice Lollies, tea coffee, fruit Juices avail all day at pool bar area. Service starts at 10am. Food in the Restaurant not really up to what weve been getting from other 4* Hotels lately. Breakfast..Omlette bar was good. Catering sausages were not the best. No Back bacon, just streaky. All the other usual offering for breakfast. Chef will supply pancakes, poached bolied or fried eggs. Hash browns not there every day which was odd, while wedges there every day. Lunch service decent. Theres also the snack bar outside that offering burgers/pizza/toasties/and odd snacks. Not a replacement for lunch, more a snack. Dinner service could have been better. Burgers / Chicken steak / 1 fish choice was the norm on the chef display. Sometimes the 1st 2 options were swapped out with steak(veal) offered twice in 7 days, prawns/shrimp, Calamari, Pork. In general it was similar most nights. Quality was ok but small thin pieces of meat/fish. There was also a Roast area that I didn’t pay much attention too. Saw Roast chicken there once which the mrs used. Wasn’t avail again in 7 days. Also Leg of Ham there one day. Pudding selection is very limited. Think is was 3 maybe 4 ice cream flavours avail. Pudding selection the smallest ive seen in a 4* hotel. Adequate but smaller than normal for us. It’s a large restaurant which is a real shame, as could be better used, if the duplication was removed. The hotel duplicate the choices at one end of the restaurant on the other side, so limiting choice. There also doesn’t seem to be any themes either. Ie Mexican night or Canarian night. Nothings advertised. If it were a them night, you wouldn’t know. I think it would be better for the hotel also to ditch the App Based and TV based activity info. Its so difficult to view on those screens as they info flashes past before you have time to read. Nothing at all that we witnessed either to tell you what evening entertainment there was or when on. Saw water polo on one day and wasn’t aware and also archery. Just not aware as its not in you face advertised as in other hotels with Boards. Entertainment seemed to be 9pm – 10:45 between the pool area and reception, with 2 artists performing. Don’t think we will visit again as food not on par with our recent hotels. Also, the rooms are not special. They are average to poor.
Brilliant hotel well recommended 👍🏻
Fantastic relaxing break away at Iberostar Waves Las Dalias, thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed 9 nights and felt hotel excellent certainly would like to visit again. Food is beautiful in help yourself restaurant or at snack bar outside. Drinks plentiful can help yourself all day long either to hot coffee or to a drink from the bar. Swimming pool warm and large plenty of room. Entertainment team bril and evening entertainment very good. We had a lovely room overlooking pool area. All people working in hotel very friendly and helpful at all times. All in all a great holiday.
Thanks so much for the entertainment team Soi Saray Alex Dana Ines Samara Eunice Alba Saul Carlos and Vasilij
I had visited this hotel 25 years ago when the kids were small and loved it then it’s not changed it’s got better. The location was very central for shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. It has a really friendly atmosphere with staff and guests which I feel is the normal vibe always. The rooms are a wee bit tired but spotless and having a pool view room it had a large balcony to sunbathe or chill with a wine. The food was fresh and varied and always hot and dishes replenished regularly. It is great value for money and has everything for a family or couple holiday. The entertainment was amazing and you actually wouldn’t need to leave the hotel. The entertainment staff day and night were superb. We were a large group of 14 adults and 2 children as we were celebrating my friends 60th birthday. The restaurant staff set the table beautifully with a bucket of fizz on hand. Marina in reception helped with the arrangements for dinner as it was a surprise and we had table decorations, banners and balloons. It was memorable for my friends 60th birthday and the waiters sang happy birthday and waved the napkins while singing. Thank you to all the staff for making it special. We will be back x
A great hotel, something for everyone, a great range of food , activities for the kids and two stages for shows. The staff go above and beyond to make this a great stay. Breakfast, lunch, casual dress, for dinner men have to wear a t-shirt or shirt , but can still wear shorts , not a problem. Sunbathing area for everyone and a part just for adults with jacuzzi and you'll be pleased to know sunbeds can't be saved for more than 45 minutes. Beds comfortable, handheld showers, but can be put into a slot for normal. I would highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again
We are just back from a week at Iberostar Las Dalias and we didn’t stop smiling the whole time we were there! The atmosphere is contagious, you can’t help but smile and dance as you walk around the resort and a lot of other people felt the same way (we bumped into loads of repeat visitors). The entertainment crew are full of energy all day long. They always made a point to stop and interact with our son every time they passed us (even though he is a shy child and didn’t say too much back) and they worked hard to get the kids involved in the mini disco they did each afternoon; they even got our son up and dancing by the end of the week! There were also games and events during the day (a foam mat runway that went into the pool and you had to try and reach the end before falling off) and a kids club to keep the kids entertained during the day. On friday they hosted a foam party for families and that was a LOT of fun for everyone involved!
Just enjoyed a 3 night break at this hotel and all I can say is absolutely fabulous. The hotel is bright, spacious and very clean. It was located close to shops and a short stroll to the promenade which takes in all the beaches, bars and shops. The staff are the most friendly I think I've ever met. Couldn't do enough for you. The atmosphere in the hotel was upbeat. The rooms were basic but comfy with a terrace overlooking the pool. The food was delicious and varied, and they cater very well for any one who needs the gluten free option. We were located beside the pool area and whilst you could hear the entertainment it wasn't unpleasant and finished by 10pm. The entertainment staff were great and not too pushy. Great value for money. We will definitely be back.. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience.
stayed at las dalias from 19 to 29 of january this is my 3rd time here and keeps getting better this is a happy hotel all staff are great entertainment team brill they make every one feel at home bar staff simply the best all named drinks restaurant realy good always found something to eat check in smooth and swift me and the wife loved this hotel so much i would say our favourite hotel any where perfect for winter break will see you again soon

Very good hotel, staff were brilliant, food was great, entertainment staff were very friendly and always had a good time during the day Would highly recommend
We’ve had an absolutely fantastic time, the entertainment staff are absolutely wonderful, they’ve genuinely made our trip. Special shout out to Vasilij who was the highlight.
Me and my family had a great time, Food was excellent, can't fault the entertainment and the entertainment staff were brilliant and always making sure we were having a great time.
We've had a brilliant trip the entertainment staff in particular made it! Food and drink was great, and rooms are always clean
This is the 5th time I’ve stayed at this hotel in the last 10 yrs and it just keeps getting better and better. The hotel has had some renovations since I was there last time. You no longer need to pay for the safe which is good. Your room key is now attached to your wrist band and check out is now 12pm. I booked a pool view room which I would definitely recommend people to do, but we were given a free upgrade to a sea view room on the top floor. The view was stunning and the room was lovely. Housekeeping comes in every day and the room was spotless not even any dust under the bed. Fresh towels every day and the beds are super comfy. We found the air conditioning worked well, we did switch it off at night as it is January and a bit cooler in the evening. The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing, especially the entertainment team who kept us busy all day with activities (big thanks to Vasilij who was an absolute star). I can’t comment on the evening entertainment as we went out every night to the entertainment in the bars. The best thing about this hotel is the food, it was absolutely fantastic, honestly amazing, and you can get premium drinks too !!!! The pool’s fabulous, one is heated which was great. I cannot wait to go back to this hotel.
★★★☆☆ Just returned from a 2-week stay at Iberostar Las Dalias, and I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed this time around. I’ve stayed here around 10 times before and always loved it, which makes this visit feel even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t up to its usual standard. Quite a few meals were either cold or overcooked, which isn’t what we’ve come to expect. The snack bar, however, was still great and probably the most consistent option during the day. We also had no electricity for two mornings. The first time we were told in advance, but the second time there was no notification at all — reception didn’t even seem aware. It was pretty inconvenient, especially as we were meeting friends and I couldn’t even dry my hair. There was also work going on around the pool area for most of the holiday. No water carpet and constant tapping/drilling noises (felt like Chinese water torture after two weeks!) which definitely affected the relaxing atmosphere. The post-mix drinks were poor quality too — we actually ended up buying cans from the shop to use as mixers. Our room wasn’t great either. I know renovations are happening, but for £2k for two weeks I expected better. The dresser was chipped badly, air con barely worked, and the cleaning wasn’t up to standard. To be fair, when we spoke to reception they acted quickly and sorted things, which we appreciated — but ideally these issues shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I still love this hotel and have another stay booked, so I’m really hoping this was just an off visit and it returns to the wonderful Las Dalias we know and love.
Vasilij staff brilliant makes the hotel experience staff brilliant very enjoyable most welcoming entertainment very good makes the holiday experience brilliant 👏
Vasillij and the rest of the entertainment team were amazing. The hotel was like champagne a good vintage, full of fizz and sparkling all day long
Just returned from a 4 night stay with friends and we had an amazing time. The staff are super friendly, the food varied and tasty, really comfortable beds, fab entertainment team, plenty of sun beds, there’s really nothing to complain about which was apparent, as the guests were so happy and friendly too! If I had to fault one thing, the pool could be a few degrees warmer but it wasn’t an issue for us. If you’re looking for a fun hotel for varying age groups this is definitely the hotel for you!!!
Absolutely fantastic hotel- from the cleaners to reception to bar staff to entertainment team - Fab!! Book it now x
Brilliant hotel - from cleaners to entertain team - nook it & you eont be disappointed !! I cannot fault anything apart from the pool could be a fre degrees warmer
Brilliant location, beautiful hotel, staff amazing, and entertainment staff so friendly and funny
Great entertainment very good shows and activities in the day and night time, and food at the restaurant is second to none, great staff ,
This is a returning trip. The hotel is perfectly located. The entertainment team and service is incredible. Food is lovely. I had a room on the fourth floor 457 which is directly above the bar. Whilst it had two rooms, so great for space the noise from the bar and bin was not great, especially with a 6 year old. I’ve looked to return for Christmas 26 but the price has increased so much I’m not sure if it will be possible.
We are currently staying at las Dalias and the hotel is as expected. As previous reviews have stated the corridors and rooms could do with updating but this as bad as I can write. The service, staff, food and entertainment are excellent. In particular the kids entertainment was excellent, all of the staff were brilliant but we really loved Dana who was fantastic with our daughter who was her biggest fan! Vasilij was also brilliant for the daytime activities. We met Vasilij at another hotel 3 years ago and he is fantastic. Let this take nothing away from all of the other staff though because as I said the whole team were really good. All in all a great holiday.
Everyone is fantastic, Barstaff, Animation team, restaurant staff, they can't do enough for you. We will be back next year
Having a fantastic time lots to do will be back next year 😀 every one is so helpful from the Bartaff to the restaurant staff & not least the Animation team who are fantastic.
We came back to this hotel because we enjoyed so much the first time. Food was of a good standard always something decent to eat the drinks package is as good as anywhere we’ve been. Always plenty of sun loungers and the pool area is good and a has an adults only section. The staff here are a credit to the hotel always professional and a smile from the bar staff to the cleaners to the restaurant managers they are a well oiled machine. The rooms and hallways in our opinion are 3 star at best and need some updating but we understand this is happening. All in all a very good hotel that offers great value and excellent staff, cannot wait to go back next year.
It is great. The price is soo much higher than last year. Thats only not nice. I understand that the price changed, but soo much...
We are on day 2 of our holiday and still very disappointed we booked here. Upon arrival we knew we had made the wrong choice when we walked through to the pool area and saw how poor the facilities were. When we checked into our room we were even more disappointed and complained to easyJet right away (who have been no help and I won’t be using again). I am really shocked this hotel had the rating it does on Tripadvisor as I would never stay here again and honestly, can’t wait to leave. The reason for 2* is because the food is good.
Was not sure what to expect at the hotel but I was very pleasantly surprised . We had a premium pool view room which has a small private balcony and then and exclusive sun terrace overlooking the pool . Only these rooms have access to the sun terrace and as there are at least 2 sunbeds for each room, there is no problem in getting a bed . I thought the room itself was a little basic but everything was in good working order and exceptionally clean . A very large selection of quality foods available all day. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again. Thanks
We spent a week over Christmas in the Las Dalias. We found everything to be of a very good standard and without doubt we will be returning. The food offering daily whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was outstanding. The drinks available also suited our palate. The Gala dinner on Christmas day itself was without doubt the best we have experienced in 40 years of going to the Canaries at this time. Again the entertainment programme and animation team was perfect with activities happening each and every day. The hotel itself is well laid out with beautiful pool areas and outdoor theatre . Our bedroom -309-suited us perfectly. Special mention to Juanpe one of the waiting staff who was simply outstanding and Alex from Paris of the animation team who is an exponent of the art of petanque. See you all next year.
Loved the whole places the entertainment was great, the whole staff was fantastic, we will be coming back 100%. A++++++++++
We love Alex & Vas & all wonderfull people at Iberostar. Pool and breakfast and siment disco and bingo and waterpolo and darts and pingy pongy
Reading recent reviews on this place I must of stayed at different hotel!! Definitely not 4 star more like a 3. Plus points staff very friendly and the food was ok too with plenty of choice. The reception/public areas were dressed really nice but delve a little deeper such as the bedrooms & corridors and it’s a different story. Sooo depressing & outdated!!! No tea/coffee making facilities in your room unless you pay 10 euros for a kettle and it’s 3 euros per day for the safe. Plenty of kiss mi quick hat kind of people and I’ve never seen so many tattoos in one place oh and let’s not forget the foam party’s and the like. Loud thumping music till 11 so if you fancy an early night forget it. Another bug bear was the in house photographers! Such pests always asking if you want your picture taken. I certainly won’t be back here.
Second stay and unfortunately we will not be returning. While the staff are generally friendly and the food is good, our experience raised serious concerns around safety and overall standards. The cot provided was unsuitable, as our 20-month-old was able to climb out of it. In addition, the balcony door in our room could not be locked, which left us feeling unsafe overnight incase he climbed out. Although the manager did assist in arranging a safer cot, it was disappointing that this came at an additional cost of €35 to us, despite the issue being safety-related. The clientele really let this place down too, generally most are pleasant however as a review below stated - there is a rougher crowd! (Loud, northern , tattooed type) I politely asked some older children that were in the baby pool to be considerate of the babies for their father to come over and tell me he would ‘kick me in the F*cking face’ as I had my 1 year old baby in my arms. Their mother then kept coming over like a broken record telling them to continue splashing! Perhaps if they were supervising their children as they should have been I wouldn’t have had to speak to them. Anyhow, hope he got her a gum shield for Christmas, Lord knows she probably needs it 🤣. We’ll head somewhere with a little more class next Christmas. Finally - hotel photographers. Constantly wanting to take photos of my baby who wasn’t really interested but they were very persistent and wouldn’t get the message and move on when he wasn’t happy with being pestered.
Stayed 12th to 19th December we had lovely holiday on arrival we were greeted at reception with welcome drinks of wine asked if we would like to upgrade which we did room was very nice large terrace two sunbeds on it all staff are very friendly food was nice we have been before and will return
We stayed at the hotel from the 13th to the 20th December as a family of six. Two adults 3 teens and a nine year old. We had sea facing interconnected rooms and one separate double room. The view from the rooms was fantastic and we had beautiful sunsets. We had an amazing holiday. We all enjoyed the food , drinks and the incredible self serve cava! The pool temperature in the large swimming pool was great and there were lots of sun lounges available. The staff and really fantastic here. The bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaners, reception staff and the entertainment team all do such a fantastic job everyone is so friendly. We have stayed at this hotel many times and they have retained lots of their staff over the years so it’s lovely to see them when we return. My son had an incredible couple of days surfing in las Americas and we all went to Siam park which is an easy 5 minute stroll round the corner. We enjoyed popping over to San Eugenio shopping centre a few times which is just opposite the hotel. We had a fabulous pre Christmas break and hopefully will return again soon! Thank you lovely Las Dallias!
I was not happy with my stay here, the room i got when I arrived 609 was awful ,facing the motorway with a big brick balcony, I rang reception and asked to be moved , next day at 1pm I got another room 545 facing a carpark, not much better in my opinion, although the bed was comfy with nice clean bedding and nice pillows.,so wasted the first part of my holiday moving rooms and unpacking. Aircon is terrible and you can't adjust it , furniture is really old and needs replacing. Pool area was packed, sunbeds are so close together,I would hate to see what its like in summer, and most had towels on by 8am, so I went to the beach, The food was really nice , although I had raw poached eggs and the fried eggs are burnt to a crisp , pastries were also burnt most days , then had a member of staff asking me to do a survey white I was trying to eat my breakfast, which I didn't appreciate. I had always wanted to stay at this hotel but won't be returning or recommending, did not enjoy my stay at all , although the staff were nice and helpful
Great location for bars and restaurants and not far to walk to the beach and the main drag of bars and eatery's can be bit hard on the less mobile to walk but taxi's and of course you can hire the mobility scooter the hotel was excellent extremly clean all over rooms changed everyday room and shower room great size plenty of room balcony spot on all hotel staff very helpful and pleasant we were Ai and can't complain different meals everyday fantastic selection of food somthing for everyone the alchoholic choices were excellent as well never waited long to be served at any of the bars over all loved our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to book again thank you to all at the hotel for making our holiday
Been here so many times. Everything is AMAZING. Food, staff, environment, facilities. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.
When you arrive made so welcome and that is what makes a holiday. All staff are fantastic. Restaurant is fantastic and after having just head outside where an excellent entertainment is every night.
Yeh first time coming with my partner we really have enjoyed our stay food good entertainment really good and service 10 10
Could never get near the pool as all beds reserved from 5am. Tattooed northern gorillas strutting around like it was a catwalk despite them being far from attractive. Screaming uncontrolled kids everywhere. The food was ok, not great. Beds uncomfortable Z type beds., we paid extra to upgrade our room to have a private verandah and sunbed, this was actually worth it. Reception staff good especially Raquel
Great hotel, wonderful & friendly staff - especially the animations team, had an amazing time ,will definitely return
We have visited Las Dalias many times. Great hotel, lovely location and staff are always lovely. Reception staff friendly and always professional. Cleaning staff top notch. Bar staff always welcoming. We didn't use the bars much however when we did, found the staff lovely. The pool areas are brilliant. The adult only is fab. There are loads of sunbeds and no sunbed wars. Unsure why people say there is, as this is complete nonsense. You can get a sunbed easily any time. Animation team are great and happy to involve guests or leave you alone if you prefer. Restaurant is really great. Staff always attentive, food is fresh and lots of choice, something for everyone. Always have show cooking, pizza, pasta station veg, salads themed nights. The only thing that let's this hotel down is the dirty guests. This is a problem for us and influencing our decision on future all inclusive stays. For example guests handling food at buffet instead of using utensils, licking fingers and handling food which other guests are expected to eat. On our visit in Nov one lady picked up food e.g starters sniffed and licked the food then put back food to buffet. Others eat and graze as they go round buffet, saliva on fingers then handle food it's disgusting. At pool smokers use tumblers as ash trays which are then used again for other guests. We no longer accept plastic tumblers at pool bar for this reason. There is a smoking area with ash trays however we saw guests smoke round the pool and vape everywhere. If the hotel can sort these things that would be great. This hotel has so much to offer but these things are spoiling it
We have visited the las dalias on many occasions over the years, and mostly they have been good visits to this hotel, this time, whilst somethings are still very good, like the check in staff, 5/5, Marina get a special mention for great work, the room maids 5/5 all excellent, rooms very clean, unfortunately it’s the managment who seem to have lost there way, it seems for this visit, the ethos has changed from reasonable 4* quality and good service to “cram them in” and therefore everything from bar service to meal times, and cleanliness of outside areas has suffered in my opinion. The outdoor food area, is left too long before staff clean it, this has lead to a pigeon invasion, I do accept it’s partially down to lazy guests but that should not allow staff not to keep areas clean, pigeons walking on all the food prep areas, over the tables and chairs, on one day there were so many pigeons I called the staff down to clear the area as it was easy food everywhere, to be fare they came straight away and cleaned the area so very reactive to my request, but it should not have to take a guest at las Dalias to get your staff cleaning. The pool area in my humble opinion is a complete nightmare, the super busy hotel has catered well for the guests as regards to loungers, but there is no space between the loungers. Guests were putting towels down against hotel Policy, and the hotel were not enforcing there own rules as regards to towels, guests were putting down towels in the early hours and not turning up until after a late breakfast, we stuck to the rules and found when we went for lunch in the hotel, we came back to find our loungers had been moved and larger groups had taken over an area, over all I still had a good stay at the las Dalias but it was so crowded! Rather surprisingly with school age kids from the UK!!! so as a couple who have been here many times over the last 15 years, I feel the las dalias has changed to a full on groups and family hotel, not for the couple, which it used to cater so well for. This maybe because they have a different owner since our last visit, IHG, inter continental hotels group. To top it off the bar staff at the outdoor area are hit and miss, some are good but others appear to be in the wrong job, rude and sometimes sloppy and uninterested, as I checked out my wife and I sat down and ordered a last mojito, the mint was black, she forgot to put rum in it and basically appeared not to give a dam. It makes me sad to write this as the las Dalias is/was a great hotel, but this is a honest review and just my opinion.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and tasty food. The entertainment was brilliant. Would definitely return. One of the better hotels in the area after having stayed in a few.
Location great. Friendly clientele around the pool. Rooms clean and have what you need for a holiday. As mentioned in other reviews, the animation team are what makes this hotel. Fantastic with the kids and it seems like they actually enjoy it too. I cant remember all their names but it was good that Szymon came out to reception to wave goodbye to the kids Marcus and Louis as they had so much fun with him and the team. We have already booked our summer holiday but are now considering changing it now due to the service and how good the animation team were with our kids!
Our stay at this Iberostar hotel was beautiful from start to finish. The staff were all incredibly polite and ensured we had everything we needed. Little touches, like welcome drinks and surprise champagne bottles in the room, made us feel special. The food selection was amazing and catered to everyone, including picky eaters. The hotel app was a useful tool for updates on room status, dining times, and activities. The entertainment team was fantastic, providing a range of options all day. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It currently holds a 4-star rating, but the exceptional service makes it feel like a 5-star experience! Highly recommend.
Had 4 nights here stayed on 9th floor overlooking the sea watched the sunset every night, room was spacious comfy and clean, cannot fault the hotel at all. The restaurant and bar staff work so hard always someone to ask if needed. The restaurant meals were great apart from breakfast had to tell them every day beans are lukewarm warm/cold! Plenty to choose from and great choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel very busy great atmosphere and goooo area was good too. One man Brahim and Maya never seemed to stop, entertaining bar work to Maya constantly cleaning, two great assets to the team. Great Holiday 5 *
fantastic hotel the staff are fantastic especially the entertainment staff Vasilij is the best entertainment person you have here he makes us feel welcome and makes the holiday fun
Vasilj was very entertaining, including and funny 😄 The rooms are a bit small, but we are here for the sun and the pool 😍☀️
Excellent trip, and great food and entertainment. Had the best time everyone at the hotel was amazing. Would definitely come again.
Excellent hotel location is very good. Bar staff very attentive and get everyone served quickly. Great entertainment team as well shoes every night. Close to siam park as well which is amazing.
We’ve just returned from a 5-night stay at Iberostar Waves Las Dalias. We arrived early around 11:30am expecting to wait for our room, but the receptionist repeatedly pushed an upgrade so we could check in immediately. After declining, we waited for the WhatsApp notification informing us our room was ready. Our standard room was spacious and clean but very dated, with chipped floors and furniture, and a lukewarm mini fridge—not what we’d expect from a 4* hotel. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and attentive staff. The snack bar which is located at the pool, however, was disappointing: food was lukewarm and the area messy. The main buffet restaurant was better but still average and repetitive, so we ate out most days. Overall, the hotel was okay but not 4* in our opinion. The location is great, but the dated rooms, average food, and pushy check-in experience mean we wouldn’t return.
Group of 9 people, including 2 pensioners and a 2 year old. On arrival, the coach was unable to drop us directly outside the hotel. So a short walk up a hill was required. This was a little inconvenient, as we had 2 pensioners in the group. But we all managed to get the cases up between us. Speedy check in, will a welcome drink on arrival. Allocated rooms, and wrist band, which also doubled up as the room key. This was a great idea, saving having to carry a key card around all the time. Rooms were average size, and clean. Some of the furniture looked a little tired, but served its purpose. No tea and coffee making facilities. First time I've been to an all inclusive hotel without a room kettle. Luckily I already knew this, so took one myself. But kettles can be requested from reception for a small deposit. Water machines available outside the rooms to get fresh drinking water. Facilities were good, wide choice of food in the restaurant and outdoor snack bar. Ice creams avaliable to help yourself Drinks were ok too, sometimes the outdoor bar got a little busy, especially at evening. Entertainment was enjoyable and the kids mini disco was perfect for our 2 year old. Pool area was clean, pools well maintained. Plenty if sunbeds, but the usual problems getting up early to secure a space. Kids pool and large pool heated. Close by to plenty of amenities, shops, bars, restaurants. Most of the staff were very polite and pleasant. Entertainment team worked hard. On the whole a good stay, all the family enjoyed it. Would definitely try an Iberostar hotel again.
Our 3rd time here and the place never fails. Food and drinks are top class but it’s the staff that make the place - from the entertainment team to bar staff, reception staff and everyone in between. The rooms are always spotless. Great hotel.
Fantastic holiday - great choice and always something to eat Entertainment team is absolutely amazing. Very clean hotel.
First impressions on arrival were wow, the reception was set up for Christmas and staff were very welcoming. Room was bright and plenty of room for 2 adults. Beds and bedding were very good and comfortable. Water dispensers placed throughout the hotel, great idea. Food was great and variety was excellent, staff were excellent and the entertainment team were top drawer 🤩 the spa room was lovely but ideally not situated in a great area, I think with a bit of thought and expansion you could have a great spa going on here!! My only grip with the hotel was having to pay for the safe in our room, come on, a 4 star hotel should be providing this facility for free. Over all a nice stay.
Stayed here before Covid twice and always enjoyed it … this time not so much! It definitely has gone down in standards.. although they renovated it .. it was done cheaply and already starting to look shabby… the rooms are really small.. and we had one over looking road which was VERY noisy… last time we stayed bit too bad but I think Tenerife has just got amazingly busy now. The beds were uncomfortable but asked for a mattress topper which made a huge difference so we were happy with that. The staff are wonderful and there is a friendly vibe in the hotel… food was great some nights at dinner and I there’s not so good.. the snacks were terrible so only had them once. The wine was awful too… typical all inclusive! The adult only section is an oasis compared to main pool. A big thanks to Airiada.. think her name was that on reception… she was so helpful and kind.. I think if you want a short all inclusive break it’s ok.. if you want a bit more upmarket area and hotel it’s not for you.. and it’s between 3 main roads so I think all rooms will suffer with traffic but especially the standard ones on the main reception road. Upgrade if you can . We will choose a better hotel next time .
Vasijis the life and soul of the hotel, amazing animation team, ...............................................
Hotel brilliant. Entertainment well at looking after customers. Vasiji brilliant with my family making sure we had a good time
Amazing hotel, amazing food, amazing entertainment team. This hotel always goes above and beyond for the guests, wouldn’t stay anywhere else now
Great food great location animation team 10 out of ten reception wonderful go above everything to help customers restaurant service is great and works tirelessly and cannot do enough for from waitress to bar people to reception great hotel, and not to miss ot management they solve any problems which arise if they do
NICE HOTEL BUT NOT A 4 STAR ! Booked a quick short trip witj my husband and 2 teenage daughters ! The weather is marvellous says 23 degrees feels like 26 as long as it's not cloudy. The hotel however although the staff are lovelyI think is over priced and over rated. Room and hotel : front of house look spectacular and lovely but everything behind the scene has seen better days, although it is clean. Rooms are run down as in cracks, scuffed flooring, rusty hangers chipped wood ,could do with a paint , I would have expected better based on price and pictures. No amenities in the room other than shampoo, shower gell and a towel. I would have expected small things like slippers, gown, toothbrush or shower cap and no free daily water bottles either .Food: it has choice as most nights are a buffet but super basic but again eating area is clean and servers are really nice. I paid for all inclusive and I feel im getting just room value. I probably would not come back unless it was much cheaper.
Just returned after a six night stay. Firstly transfer (I know this isn’t down to the hotel) was horrendous - but to make you aware the bus drop you at the bottom of the road and there’s a bit of an incline to negotiate with cases. Check in very good, hotel room was very basic - we paid for standard and I guess it’s what we got but the room definitely needed some upgrading. Pool nice with usual sunbed reservations! Food was Ok, dining room was pretty canteen like. Animation team very pleasant. Evening entertainment not great. Entertainment in lobby bar too but it was very noisy with people talking whilst the act was on so not great. Drinks just Ok. Had much nicer cocktails. Hotel pretty central. Safety deposit boxes €3 a night. Ice creams chargeable - we didn’t have one but one was out on our room 🙄 .. hotel took it off but beware no one needs to sign but just give a room number ! Pool towels refundable deposit. Don’t think we’d visit again but plenty do
Fantastic hotel with friendly staff and great entertainment for children. My daughter is 2 years old and she was welcomed wherever she went by staff members. She especially enjoyed the mini club with Simon! The food on offer is also fabulous and prepared very well. As a pregnant woman, I felt well catered to food wise too. The only alteration I’d make regarding the food is to ensure customers have access to soft drinks throughout the day. I noticed after breakfast, the only drinks available in the restaurant were fizzy drinks, alcohol or water. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well cleaned on a daily basis. The only thing I would like is an option for a slightly dimmer bulb in the bathroom as it can be quite a shock to the eyes after sleeping. All in all an absolutely fantastic hotel, I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
A classic Tenerife crowd-pleaser. Super friendly team, great food choices, and spotless facilities. The pool area is brilliant and always feels lively but never chaotic. You can see how much the staff genuinely care — it’s one of those hotels where people return year after year for a reason.
The staff, food, drink and facilities are still as wonderful as ever, which is why we returned. However the new air con restrictions means that we won't return. The air con is centrally controlled, rendering the individual control in the room worthless,it's either on or off,no fan control or temperature control Our room was 26c all week, with no means of lowering temperature, goodness knows how bad it must be in the height of summer. The new Spanish air con regulations states that hotel rooms can be controlled individually but, either Las Dalias or Iberostar have decided to save money and control the rooms centrally. It was a very uncomfortable week, and reception are very aware of complaints but claim " it's the law". Unfortunately we won't return for a 6th time,as we feel that functioning air con is essential nowadays.
Lovely hotel with fantastic staff always going the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Entertainment team amazing alway involving all guest in the activities and making people feel included
Every single person has been amazing, from reception, the cleaners and the entertainment. I cannot fault this place at all, different activities during the day to keep you busy. Evening entertainment is class and I have no idea how they remember so many routines. The alcohol is proper makes and they are not stingy.. really enjoyed my stay
Nice hotel good place to stay fun entertainment team nice food and everybody is very friendly I am still here and would return
