Inn at the Falls

Great location, 3 minute walk to shops, lovely large terrance overlooking the scenic riverside, nice variety of offerings for continental breakfast, very clean.

Jolie auberge bien située dans Bracebridge, tout peut être fait à pied. Notre chambre était très confortable et bien équipée, au calme et avec une belle vue sur la rivière dans toutes les pièces. Stationnement facile à proximité, ainsi qu'un deck donnant sur la rivière, très chouette.

Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur du lieu. D'une part, il manque beaucoup de choses pour appeler cela continental : de la viande (jambon, saucisses ou bacon), du vrai fromage, pas des portions individuelles de fromage industriel, des fruits frais, à minima des pommes locales, du raisin il y avait surtout des choses sucrées (même les bagels!). D'autre part, tout ce qui est servi est industriel et de faible qualité, cela gâche clairement l'expérience dans un si beau lieu.

Basic room at back of property. Adequate however I am sure the rooms in the main building would be nicer. Lovely italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel which was great to go to one evening.

Place was clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. Quit place to sit on blecony and relax. Close walk to town. Would highly recommend Inn at the falls you won't be disappointed.

The Inn at the Falls is a century home. It was a second time staying here. It is very quiet. The added continental breakfast was an added touch.

We loved the area it was in and the scenery from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There should be toothpaste as well for guests

You have everything you need in the room, it’s clean and has a nice view to take lake.

You cannot open any windows to let in some fresh air and the breakfast was really „poor“, just yogurt and some jam.

Det lugtede af klorin, var fugtigt og klamt - selv toiletpapiret var klamt. Morgenmaden var under alt kritik. Meget dårlig udvalg 1 dag og anden dag var det hverken smør, yoghurt eller frugt (de har kun æbler) så vi kørte ud og fik morgenmad.

This was a perfect place to stay. We loved that this is an historic inn..Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour. What a treat to see the deer family enjoying their grounds as we sat outside in their Adirondack chairs overlooking the river..We loved our room with a window facing the water and patio. Thank you.

Cleanliness of the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out times were decent. The train noise at 11:30pm worried us thinking it might be all night long but it was not. Parking for guests was acceptable.

The size of the room was small for 4 guests to move around comfortably. The sand on the street at the entrance to the Mews was dangerous, especially for the people having trouble walking. Steep hill from the parking lot to the hotel.

We arrived really early hoping to be able to use the car park until check in time however our room was already available so they checked us in which was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and we were shown to our room and talked through everything which was a lovely personal touch. The location is excellent, close to everything on foot. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The room itself was clean and tidy and overlooked the water which was excellent. Overall a lovely stay and great value for money.

The breakfast and terrace area could do with a little spruce up but that was all.

Charmant auberge, avec un cachet exceptionnel. Terrasse extérieur avec vue sur l’eau , parfait pour un picnic . Très bon déjeuner, viennoiseries, jus , pain , bagel, fromage yogourt , jus et café. Notre chambre bonne grandeur avec coin salon. Emplacement géographique excellente.

Fruits au déjeuner serait appréciés.

Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the views! The mom and 3 baby deers were amazing to watch so close up!

We would have perfered a room with a balcony

Prachtige locatie, mooie kamers, goed onderhouden en heel veel zorg besteed aan onderhoud, sfeer en uitstraling. Het bijbehorende restaurant is ook erg goed.

Breakfast is a supermarket staff. There is an excellent bakery/cafe in town but the hotel doesn't offer their products. I think the hotel of this level should use better quality.

I like the bedroom facing the view of Muskoka River. I love the breakfast menu that was served, the room service that was handled fast.

The breakfast on the balcony area was full of dust on the side on the wall. It needs cleaning and wiping the floors, also with the table and chairs.

Proximity to the water falls and stores

The pillows were very thick causing pain on the neck while sleeping. Just a recommendation to keep thin pillows.

Our breakfast was sufficient though a wider variety of fruit would have been appreciated. The bathroom in our room was very clean and attractive

The room did seem a bit damp/stuffy smelling but I imagine that comes with very old houses.

Peaceful location

Beautiful inn right on river. Enjoyed our suite with king bed and our balcony. Excellent location. Convenient to have use of mini fridge and coffee maker in room. The included continental breakfast offered a nice selection. Friendly efficient staff.

Would have preferred a love seat in room vs two chairs. It was fine though.

The staff were not helpful at all, there was no one at front desk, we had to wait for 45 mins for check in. They don't offer us late checkout.

Loved our view of the falls. The restaurant has lots of options and the Staff were friendly and professional. We have been to Basilico several times and will go again!

Great for an adult extended family gathering. Plenty of spaces to meet and mingle. Nice to have the restaurant on site. Standard breakfast options, all very tasty.

Ok the place needs updates. Wallpaper falling of the walls. Outside deck needs serious repair. Just a good cleanup won’t do. You have a great place but it needs help.

It was just as lovely as the last time we stayed there! The view is great, location is close to everything nearby, some places are also very easy walking distance.

This Inn has a nice view over the falls , It’s at the end of the street so it’s quiet. Our room was comfortable and although there was some renovations taking place it did not disturb us in anyway. Good value would recommend.

Nettes Hotel in altem Gebäude, fußläufig zur Mainstreet, etwas eigenwillig konzipiert... Hatte eher kleines Zimmer mit tollem Blick auf den Fluß!

Man soll sich immer per SMS melden, voll old Schokolade... Frühstücks-Buffet ist auch nicht gerade enorm vielfältig.

This hotel is centrally located wihin walking distance of downtown Bracebridge and walking trails. The staff are very friendly and professional. We were accommodated in a lovely ground level room with a view to avoid taking the stairs as there is no elevator. Guests are invited to use the sitting area in the main building to relax, read a book or to watch TV. I appreciated not being confined to our room in the evening and enjoyed the homey atmosphere in the old Victorian house. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant (Basilico) on site. We enjoyed delicious food along with a view overlooking the lake. Self serve continental breakfast in the morning was quite nice as well. All the food was very well organized. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

We were welcomed by Jane when we checked in. We were then shown to our room which was an upgrade. Thank you. It was a lovely spacious room with a balcony and great view over the garden and falls. We were also given a list of pubs and restaurant in the town. We used The Griffin. Fabulous home cooked food and an amazing choice of beers.

The location to the falls is your asset, Through our room windows we could see the falls and hear it at night, beautiful. The Inn is old but stately,

The room heat was unbearable and until we opened all of our windows we could not get the thermostat to lower the temperature. Not sure I was totally comfortable that there was no staff on site after 9 pm, I texted and then called the given number for assistance and she was very helpful, but no security.

We had an AMAZING time at The Inn At The Falls! We absolutely loved our room with an incredible view of the falls and picturesque landscape surrounding it here in Bracebridge. We couldn’t believe how big our balcony was at “The Mews” section of the property. The room was lovely and had everything we needed. There’s a nice electric fireplace… a rather large ‘mini’ fridge, microwave, Keurig type coffee maker, a huge desk, and sitting area. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a considerable variety of items to choose from for a 'continental' breakfast which was complimentary. The staff is VERY accommodating and friendly. They made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely come back here to experience this wonderful inn in the summer!

Last-minute deal sold me on the location. I will return again when back in Bracebridge. The restaurant was amazing!

We enjoy small historic inns with the character this brings. We booked the king suite with a fire place and having 2 separate areas was very nice. The adjoining Italian restaurant Basilica was superb as well.

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning and the instructions we received we clear and understandable. We had no problem finding and entering our suite and getting our breakfast in the morning.

Parking was a challenge. The lighting was not great and since we arrived at night that made it difficult.

Location was great, hotel staff very nice. Breakfast was ok.

Resturant was disappointing, seating very uncomfortable, service slow not very friendly, food was cold that should have been hot. We did send feedback at check out and were not contacted.

Cleanliness, great scenery

no one at the front desk half hour before late check inn...room door only key is a real estate lock box on the door knob of your room?...instuctions on text message that still didnt open the lock box ...like really who wants to deal with this after a 3 hr drive?....we found the innkeeper rude prettymuch telling me it was my fault that i couldnt open the lock box...ended up just leaving finding better customer service not far away and still got charged for the night...thx for the memories
