Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Muy buena ubicación puesto que estaba muy cerca de la estación de trenes, bastante cerca del centro y, aunque parezca una tontería, al lado de las pocas fuentes de agua de la ciudad.
El acceso tuvo obras uno de los días, pero bueno, no fue mucho inconveniente. Habitualmente no había alguien para atender, pero tambien es cierto que nos pudimos poner en contacto sin problema por teléfono y el chico se prestó a ir cuando se lo solicitamos y nos atendió bien y fue muy amable.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Great location, next to the train station and a good starting point to start exploring the city. Comfortable room with all amenities. The first morning we woke up, the air-conditioning wasn't working properly, we advised the lady at the reception and when we returned, it was fixed. I will surely visit again both Florence and La Residenza di Michelangelo.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Very close to Florence terminal, was able to get to airport very easily. Lots of restaurants nearby. Had decent sound proofing between rooms. I didn’t hear my neighbors at all. They are more generous with toiletries. there is shower caps, dental kits.
It is an old building. So it is not unusual for windows to shake when a big truck passes down the street. Also, you can sometimes hear people walking down the street.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Residenza di Michelangelo provided a lovely stay for our time in Florence. It's located very close to the train station and was easy to get to. Luigi was very responsive and provided us a smooth checkin experience. The room itself was well furnished and came with a mini fridge stocked with some water bottles, which came in handy.
Overall, I think you get great value here. It was initially a bit hard to find, and we almost walked past it.

It was SUPER close to the train station, lots of cafés/restaurants nearby (including the Central Market), supermarkets, and there was even a leather market pretty much outside the door! The room had a small balcony that we could access and many chairs + a desk! In addition, there was a nice and spacious wardrobe! LOVED the "welcome gifts" that we found upon arrival ¨̮ The lady at reception was also really kind and helpful!
By looking at the pictures provided on booking we were expecting a shower with glass doors and a big shower head, when we checked in, however, we noticed it was a small shower with nothing but a curtain (which wasn't very secure) separating it from the rest of the bathroom. Additionally, the drain didn't work properly and we had to take it out when we wanted to shower. Also, the cleaning staff didn't replace the toilet paper and I had to leave a note asking for more the next morning. The mini fridge dripped water from the top, which meant we had to be careful with what we put in there since it would get wet after some time.. Finally, though the location was convenient, it was in a street full of homeless people and it didn't feel very safe at times.

La mancanza di pulizia e di manutenzione Gentile Host (purtroppo non conosco il suo nome) avendo letto la sua risposta alla mia recensione, sono costretto (a onor del vero) ad integrare la mia valutazione, con documentazione fotografica e dettagli descrittivi. Innanzitutto lei scrive che io "dal vivo" avrei fatto tanti complimenti e quindi sostiene che avrei sbagliato a recensire struttura!? FALSO! IO NON LE HO MAI FATTO COMPLIMENTI, NÉ DAL VIVO E NÉ A DISTANZA! Le devo ricordare che io sono arrivato in struttura alle 8 di sera ed ho lasciato la stessa alle 8.30 del mattino seguente, SENZA MAI INCONTRARE NESSUNO IN STRUTTURA! A questo punto credo che sia lei a confondersi con qualche altro ospite... Nella mia prima recensione sono stato molto sintetico, ma adesso le riporto maggiori dettagli relativi alla mia PESSIMA ESPERIENZA presso la sua struttura: Le condizioni di pulizia di tutta la camera erano sconvolgenti!!! La tenda del vano finestra era talmente sporca che veniva il voltastomaco solo a guardarla (tra l'altro c'era UNA GRANDE ZANZARA SCHIACCIATA proprio al centro della stessa) Vedere foto. I battiscopa ed i termosifoni erano un COVO DI POLVERE (E PROBABILMENTE ACARI). Vedere foto. Lo stato di manutenzione e pulizia degli infissi si commenta da solo (vedere foto). Passando al bagno la situazione era anche peggiore... Innanzitutto MANCAVA IL BIDET e anche se lei ha montato una doccetta di fianco al wc, abbiamo purtroppo scoperto (a nostro danno) che questa non funzionava! L'aeratore VORTICE presente in bagno era TALMENTE SPORCO che si "abbinava perfettamente" col sudiciume dei battiscopa. Vedere foto. La muffa visibile nell'angusta doccia, faceva passare la voglia di entrarci. Vedere foto. Lo stesso dicasi per il giallo della tavoletta del wc. Vedere foto.

L'host è stato disponibilissimo consentendoci anche di lasciare i bagagli sia prima del ceckin che dopo il ceck out.

This was one of the few places we stayed in Europe that said they had A/C and the A/C actually worked. Loved the bathroom and the sweet touches with the robes and slippers for each guest. I would recommend to anyone going to that area to stay here.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Good location as it is near the station and the city centre. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious enough. It had all the necessities and they even provided with bottles of water in the mini fridge and slippers to go use around the room, which I really appreciated. Bathroom had toiletries and a table to put all your stuff. The staff was kind as well.
Although the location is good , it can be quite noisy due to being near the station and the market , but overall it I slept very well!

Es una habitación muy espaciosa y un baño grande. Si hubiésemos viajado con alguien más habría tenido sitio. Nevera, cafetera, útiles para el baño, etc.
Por decir algo, el ruido de la calle (pero estábamos en medio del mundial de fútbol con lo que eso conlleva)

La stanza e il bagno erano datati in tutto, il condizionatore è molto vecchio e spara sul letto visto che la camera è piuttosto piccola. Ci fosse stata almeno la zanzariera! Il frigo è molto rumoroso e non permette di dormire. Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026This was a wonderful find in the centre of Florence. We were so happy we stayed here. The room was clean and comfortable and felt like a sanctuary despite being in the middle of everything. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We had an excellent time and hope to stay here again the next time we are in Florence

The room was nice. The only thing I wish was different was if there was more storage space in the bathroom. Like a shelf or something near the sink.

Reviewed May 26, 2026This is one of my best travel hotel experiences. The landlord lady was so nice, she’s very patient and kind. When I asked her question at night, she responded immediately, solved our problem quickly. If you ask my idea, I will recommend this hotel. Also the plus point, it’s very safe, quiet, and nearby has so many good restaurants, very convenient. Also, walk like 10-20 mins I can get to most of the spots.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Baño limpio y nuevo, localización excelente, llegué después de las 18h y fué muy fácil el proceso. La señora de recepción el último día fué muy amable. Tienen amenities como en hoteles de categoría superior.
El tamaño de la cama doble, me hubiera gustado una de 1.50, pero es una preferencia, no lo considero importante.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The room was really well presented and cute! It was close enough to walk most places. Clean and neat with an easy check in/out process.
The mattress. Even with a topper on it the mattress was terrible and needs replacing. Aside from the mattress the stay was very comfortable.
