Green Acres Inn

The owners and staff were very helpful and kind. We stopped over in Kingston for a few days and staying slightly out of town (with a car) at this location was perfect. The pool and outdoor seating areas were a massive bonus after a long day exploring Kingston and the trails!

Everything was amazing for the price.

Fijn verblijf gehad. Vriendelijk personeel, leuke kamer. Heel het terrein ligt er mooi bij en is sfeervol. Wasje gedraaid, dat werkt goed en is niet duur.

The property was easy to find and the room was clean. The lighting was lovely with various pot lights and table lamps. We had a cross breeze with two open windows.

The bed was a little on the hard side.

Eindelijk een leuk motel met een zwembad en fijne plekken om in de tuin te zitten. Personeel is vriendelijk en de kamer is prima.

The pool was great and the coffee machine was nice.

The place is dog friendly and I didn’t know. There were dogs next to our room crying all night long and keeping us awake. The pillows were too soft and tough on the neck. The air conditioning unit was too noisy. It was as expensive as an hotel but it was a motel.

Les fumeurs . Ils fument juste devant leur porte et on peu sentir leur boucane dans notre chambre . Le bain n'était pas tres propre quand nous sommes arrivés . Il y avait des poils/cheveux dans la baignoire.

The rooms are nice and had everything we needed.

Although the property is surrounded by green landscape and it is quiet, I personally did not like the neighborhood ambiance; at 3 am sb had fireworks for few minutes.

Beliggende i trist kvarter med større butikker, fastfood kæder mm. Aircondition virkede lidt “on and off” og larmede ekstremt meget.

I called to indicate that we would be late checking in and the front desk person gave me instructions on how to get into my room after hours. Pool area was very nice. My friend left her phone at the pool area. Dan at the front desk ran to look for it and held it for the day until we could drive back for it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The setting is beautiful, set back from the highway.

The room and bed were uncomfortably small considering the amount of money for the room. It was much overpriced.

Something around the pool had a weird smell that my kids complained about but otherwise it was good.

Staff was kind. Pool looked really nice.

Could have done a better job cleaning sheets. Pretty sure there were hairs on one of them. Had cracked tiles in BR. Decorative ideas were not great. TV in front of a mirror as an example with plenty of walk space to change location to be useful. Old window AC noisy. Just a meh but decent overnight place with no frills.

Housekeeping needs some training. Beds weren’t properly made, bed skirts bedraggled. Nothing serious, but could benefit from more rigour and attention to detail.

We travelled for the first time with our 1 year old, an had an absolutely lovely time. We ended up arriving in Kingston a lot earlier than we had planned, so we called ahead in the morning and were able to get into our room early since they had the space. We lucked in with perfect weather to take advantage of the pool, and had a blast with the swing and slides which really helped tucker her out. The room itself was great, not huge but plenty of room for crawling around and playing. The playpen we brought for bedtime fit perfectly at the end of the room by the washroom door, and happened to be next to the AC unit which means we had a fantastic built in white noise machine. Baby slept perfectly all through the night :) We were able to get an extra hour before we had to check out to accommodate a morning nap, which made the day so much more pleasant for us :P Oh and the wireless charging stand by the bed was such an awesome touch!

The end tables in the room were incredibly wobbly and had a thick slab of glass on top, which would likely be great for preventing water marks but also a massive concern when a newly mobile tot is present. As it is a venue that caters to families (pool, and play structures), it would be nice to have an interior that is a bit less of a hazard in that regard. It was an easy fix though, we just put the glass sheets on one of the shelves in the kitchenette and it was fine. But if we hadn't have noticed them before she accidentally toppled one of the tables it could have been terrible.

Some things were in ill repair. Whirlpool in the tub didnt work in the towel bar in the washroom broke almost as quickly as I came into the washroom for the first time

This is a charming motel. Spotless inside and out. Rooms appointed with everything one could need. I have worked in bus tour travel for 40 years. That means around 6,000 hotel stays. Only 2 or 3 motel properties have even come close to Green Acres.

We all want a a cheaper room. Nothing fell short of expectations.

Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and responded to requests immediately.

VERY clean and well appointed. Beds are comfortable, if a little on the soft side for us.

A little noise from the nearby busy street, but minimal.

We were welcomed by Sarah, who was very helpful. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Parking was free and conveniently right outside the room. It's close to restaurants, which is great for breakfast.

The carpet was very dirty with food on it and we had a puppy. We got a dust buster to clean it up.

It has country living vibes, while right on princess street, close to Amenities and Shopping. Staff are welcoming, and not having to wait to be greeted is a nice feeling.

The overall room and facility was excellent. We especially enjoyed the attention in the small details . For example, a small vase with two white carnations, the top quality black “make up” face cloth, we had a really nice pink soft and plush throw and pillow on our love seat - it was nice to cuddle up with.

This is a very quaint spot. Lots of green space, gazebo with lights in the evenings. Gardens are lovely.

No carpet is a big plus. We loved the green area on the property. The place looked tidy and recently renovated.

The bathroom, especially the shower area could have been cleaner. There was a strange, rather unpleasant smell in the room.
