Hilltop Motel

The owner and staff were great. Great location. Even had a small store and hair salon on site.

The only thing I can criticize was the beds were creaky in our room. They were comfortable just cracked everytime you moved or rolled over.

For an overnight stay, the room and bathroom were clean, beds were comfortable.

Not a negative but no coffee machine, or kettle. There is a Tim Hortons across the street.

The location was okay and the hotel was easily accessible.

The room was very small.The price was mediocre for the quality. The airconditioning unit was old and didn't cool the room properly. Everywhere outside smelt like old cigarettes. The towels though they had been washed, still had old stains on them.

The rates were always changing and after spending over 1000 the staff would argue with me over a deal for one more night

It was very basic. The plumbing was loose and the room cramped. There was a lot of road noise all through the night.

The shower pressure was great! We liked that it was a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Having chairs to site outside our room during the day or evening is a nice feature. The lighting outdoors was plentiful and having parking right in front of the room was great! I would recommend staying here. We attended a concert the night we stayed and the uber ride was efficient.

I might suggest having the main office available until midnight for snacks or beverages. The staff are super friendly though and most travelers should be prepacked with these items anyways.

This is a bit older motel towards the western part of Kingston but we were able to Uber to Slush Puppie Place for $21.60 plus tip. Very economical as hotels in downtown Kingston can now get quit expensive for what you are getting. The motel is easy to get to by vehicle and there are restaurants, a grocery store and a mall very close. The motel is older but very clean and the beds are comfortable (I have a bad back so important to me) The owner and staff are helpful and engaging

Nothing I can think of as the motel is as described online and I have stayed here several times.

They had a store on the premises, which was very handy to have.

Hotel/motel prices have risen extremely high and the Hill Top was at the lower end but still high compared to years in the past. We chose to stay here because of price, and location.

The rooms are extremely small. No room for your luggage. Nothing really to sit on. Tv on a side counter. Horribly designed, too small for use or comfort. Just a bed to sleep.

It was quiet and.close to Timjoryons.

For the price we.paid, we expected something a.little.nicer.

The motel was very well situated in our road trip path. The owner was perfect he helped us out late check in.

We booked for 5 people but they had only 2 double bedroom (they should write only 4 adults max)

Very nice to deal with. We booked through Booking .com and we did not know they not pet friendly. However, he let use stay with no hassle. To bad, because we would love to go back when in Kingston.

Good location for my needs. Great reception from the owner. Room was very clean, updated and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and kind. Mini fridge in the room was a great size. Location was close to a lot of great restaurants and stores. I also appreciated getting 50% off an app at Chucks because we stayed.

The room was okay. There were many stains on the comforter, and a lot of damage on the floors from previous occupants moving furniture. There was a conditioner bottle covered in beard trimmings in a basket in the bathroom. Although it was manageable, I do feel that price was I was very over charged. I've stayed at proper hotels in Kingston for less money.

Zimmer extrem klein. Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Laut. Hauptstraße sehr nahe. Keine Kaffemaschine und kein Wasserkocher. Das gibt es sonst in jedem Motel.

Facilities need maintenance. The mattress was not very comfortable and the AC was more noise than cold air.

The Hilltop Motel had clean rooms, comfy firm beds, fluffy towels, super clean and renovated bathrooms, good water pressure and nice hot showers. For a 2 star, really good value. Our family stayed there and were very satisfied.

I liked the staff. Very nice front office staff, comfortable beds. Around grocery stores, and coffee. Enjoyed the smart tv so that we could sign into streaming services.

I really struggled to lock the door from the inside each time. I felt it needed something more secure than a security chain.

The facility was a basic motel, reasonably clean (very noticeable recent refurbishment). We simply needed basic accommodations without the exorbitant rates of hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the room and outside area was quiet.

My wife would have appreciated a hair dryer in the room.

The exterior looks a little rough, but inside was perfectly clean, presentable, comfortable, and accommodating. Clean linens, TV and cable, decently large washroom with shower, some racks and drawers.

Drain fly or two in the washroom, the cooling was a large and noisy fan unit inside.

Was woken up at 9:30am when checkout isn't til 11, by the office phoning our room and then when I picked up and said hello, the person just said ugh and hung up.

Nice location , close to downtown. Parking right to the door. Prices are reasonable U can do BBQ & play basketball with kids .

Washrooms need exhaust , Ac is working but old style . Sometimes people dont know how to operate . No coffee, no milk provided . Just hot water kettle is available.

When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi reception in our room, but the the person at the reception tried several options until he fixed it.

The facilities were decent, but the price was really high for the value.

The owner was incredible and very helpful and friendly and happily provided us with extra pillows upon request. Room was small but very cozy !! Bed was super comfortable.
