Nothing
We paid $900 a night for this hotel, and the experience was a complete disappointment. At check-in, the staff member was unwelcoming and rude. To make matters worse, we were charged an extra $200 per night for a 'suite' that was nothing more than a staircase leading to a tiny nook. The room quality was unacceptable for the price. We were given cheap synthetic pillows and blankets, and despite booking for two guests, the bathroom contained only one bathrobe. When we ordered breakfast, we had to call back and forth repeatedly, only for the food to arrive with plastic silverware. On top of that, the unsightly wallpaper on the ceiling made the space feel far from relaxing. While the location is central, the lack of a passenger drop-off zone makes getting an Uber a complete ordeal. For $900 a night, the cheap quality and poor service make this the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I strongly advise staying elsewhere.
Comfortable beds, amazing staff (including the valets), bustling area with lots to do.
When we checked in, we were told we would receive a free alcoholic beverage from the Terminal Bar, but when we tried to get the drink at the bar, we were told the policy had changed.
Timothy was very knowledgeable and helpful in providing information and assistance to our room and about the hotel.
Some of the people in the station/ hotel lobby were smoking marijuana in an area where no smoking is allowed at all.
Very nice property. Nicer during the day.
The rooms didn’t have enough light, the AC was unpredictable. A lot of money to spend for for the price.
Katrina at the front desk is an asset to your organization. She fixed everything we threw at her. She made our stay an enjoyable one. Thank you.
Cleaning our room late in the day. We opted out of getting it clean, because we had gotten back from sight seeing and were too tired to wait while they worked, on multiple days.
Nice rooms, nice benefits with local restaurants, nice staff, check in drink
Room not ready until 1hr after stated 4p check in time
Location to near by attractions
You could hear the people next door
The room and location were incredible. HUGE room, HUGE bed, super comfortable.
There just wasn't much room service after 11pm, other than that is was great.
Being part of the Union Station development means access is available to the restaurants and other food outlets. Breakfast at snooze was excellent. A free coffee in the morning and scoop of ice cream at happy hour were very welcome!
The Crawford is a small hotel located in Union Station. The lobby is small but tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and lovely. It has character. It is not a cookie cutter hotel. The staff was very gracious. Little touches that I appreciated included offering us sparkling rose on check in, a steamer in the room, daily maid service, freebies at other Union Station businesses with our key card (coffee, ice cream, Sangria), a harpist in the lobby. It's a great location and the rooms were very quiet. We'd stay there again.
Nothing
Location is great. Some services are questionable……room reservation preferences were not met ……. And tho clerk was apologetic did nothing to alleviate the situation.
Dionna gave very poor customer service. She gave us keys for only one of our two rooms that we booked. She did not make reservations for us at Snooze, when asked directly to do so. When I asked about amenities, she let me know, "Coffee," as this was her one word response. Nothing about the fitness center or gym available, nor the bar upstairs.
We loved The Crawford and would highly recommend it! The location is great but on property there are so many great options for food and drink. The accommodations were so comfortable and the benefits of staying there with our AMEX card were awesome.
地理位置优越,吃饭方便
In a world where hotels routinely charge upwards of $10 for bottled water in the room (and look for any ways to upcharge guests, really), The Crawford gives you seemingly unlimited bottled water. Seems like a small thing, sure, but it's also the small things that often separate the good from the great.
Perfect location and loved the vibe. The rooms are small and no privacy. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. I would not stay there again, but still had a great experience. Really cute. Felt like a European botique hotel.
Terrible experience! We checking in to our room, the moment we walked in it was stifling hot in our room. We attempted to change the thermostat down, however it was already reading 67 in the room. The vent was blowing Luke warm air. We complained 3 times to hotel staff, and an engineer attempted to fix it 3 times. Finally the engineer checked the thermometer and it was reading. 78 degrees in our room! This was in late June during summer. The staff finally offered to move us rooms after repeated complaints regarding the heat. They did upgrade us, however the unfriendly staff, the hot room, and minimizing of our needs from a 5 star hotel was appalling and quite frankly ruined our stay. I also requested a bottle of wine after booking the hotel and never received it. I would not recommend to anyone.
Our stay at The Crawford Hotel was unfortunately a very disappointing end to an otherwise wonderful vacation. Upon arrival, the hotel appeared to be severely understaffed. The lobby was extremely crowded, filled with luggage, and there was a very long line to reach the front desk. The elevator situation only added to the confusion, with long waits and guests being directed to a secondary elevator elsewhere in the station. After waiting for that elevator and riding it to our floor, we discovered there was no way to access our room from that location and had to return to the main lobby and wait all over again. When we finally reached our room, we discovered that the room type was incorrect. Our reservation clearly showed a room with two double beds, but we had been assigned a very small room with a single bed. We were also told our luggage would be waiting in our room upon arrival, but it was not there. We returned to the lobby and eventually located our luggage ourselves, buried underneath other luggage in large piles throughout the lobby area. We then had to wait approximately another 25 minutes in a line of understandably frustrated guests dealing with a variety of issues, including non-functioning key cards and incorrect room assignments. To make matters worse, while waiting in line, another guest who had become frustrated with the lengthy wait directed his anger toward me. By the time we reached the front desk, we learned that there were apparently no remaining rooms available with two beds. We were offered only a small rollaway bed in an already tiny room, along with restaurant credits at nearby establishments. Unfortunately, the room itself had additional problems. The toilet had such poor water pressure that it required multiple flushes to clear even a small amount of toilet paper, and the bathroom door did not have a lock. Mistakes can happen, but the number of issues experienced by so many guests that evening suggests that room assignments, key cards, and arrival logistics were not adequately verified in advance. This created a great deal of unnecessary stress at the end of what had otherwise been an amazing trip. I hope management investigates what happened and improves their arrival procedures so future guests do not experience the same issues.
The Crawford is a boutique hotel located inside downtown Denver's Union Station. We stayed one night prior to leaving on the Rocky Mountaineer's Canyon Spirit train trip. Our room was large, with a very high ceiling that was painted in floral design. There was a complimentary coffee and tea service, as well as mini bar liquors available for purchase. The bathroom was spacious, and they still offer toiletries unlike many other hotels. The service was excellent, from check in until departure. For those traveling on the Canyon Spirit train, there is a service desk located right next to the hotel entrance. There's also an Amtrak ticket desk for those traveling on the California Zephyr line. There are a number of shops and restaurants inside Union Station, as well as nearby, so you don't have to deal with the downtown traffic during a short stay. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone traveling by train or with business in downtown Denver. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed in historic Union station and had a wonderful time with the amenities and dining options. The concierge desk is extremely helpful from booking rides and restaurant reservations to providing recommendations to any number of activities. You must go on the history tour and get a cider at the Terminal bar. Maybe stay away from the Mercantile restaurant unless you prefer reputation over flavor.
Location and amenities
A little pricey for what it is
Elegant, central, clean, welcoming
If anything, a bit pricey
We had luxurious room accomodations. We enjoyed exploring the well maintained historic archeitecture of the Union Station. Evening dinner at the Mercantile Resturant was superb. My rating is 5++!
The Crawford Hotel is a beautiful hotel with lovely appointed rooms. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and bathrooms provide extra personal items and robes. Be sure to check when making a reservation as some rooms have steps leading into them after entering. A nice perk is the free coffee each day from the coffee shop and the free cup of ice cream from the ice cream shop both down in the original waiting room in Union Station. The waiting room is a busy area with people arriving and leaving by train, or just relaxing with a coffee or drink from the surrounding shops. The Terminal Bar is convenient for a drink and/or lunch and dinner. Snooze restaurant is down the hall for breakfast. A large outside patio area is in front with tables and umbrellas for a nice place to enjoy people watching, relaxing, and having refreshment. Be sure to check the daily extras provided at the front desk, especially the tour of Union Station which is very interesting and entertaining.
I flew out of Burbank, hopped on a quick flight to Denver, and for once the travel gods were on my side. No drama, no chaos. I got off the plane already feeling like this trip might actually be easy. That feeling only got better once I stepped onto the train into the city and realized my hotel, The Crawford, was literally at the end of the line. Rolling my bag into Union Station felt more like walking into a movie set than arriving at a hotel. High ceilings, energy everywhere, people moving through, grabbing drinks and coffee while trains came and went. And tucked right into all of that was my hotel. I didn’t need a shuttle. I didn’t have to figure out a rideshare pickup zone. I just walked off the train and, within a couple minutes, I was at the front desk. Check in was ridiculously simple. A couple of quick questions, a swipe, a smile, and I had my key. No lines, no confusion, no “your room isn’t ready yet” dance. It was the kind of check in that you almost forget happened, because nothing got in the way. After a travel day that started in Burbank and involved planes and trains, that kind of ease mattered. When I opened the door to my room, I actually stopped for a second. The space was large in a way you don’t expect in a busy downtown hotel. Clean, modern, and comfortable without feeling cold. The bed looked like it meant business, and it delivered. Soft, inviting, and the sort of bed that makes you consider cancelling your morning plans. The details in the room felt intentional too. The amenities were exactly what I needed, not just generic items tossed in to say they were there. I had booked the stay through my Amex Platinum, so I came in with pretty high expectations. This felt like one of those times where the card benefits actually matched the experience. From the room to the service, it all had that quiet, elevated feel that makes you think, yes, this was the right call. The staff sealed it. I called down more than a few times to request ride services and ask little questions, and every single time they answered like it was no trouble at all. Cheerful, professional, and genuinely helpful, no hint of annoyance even when I knew I’d called a lot. It felt like having a small, very competent support team on standby just for me. What made the whole stay memorable was how seamless everything felt from start to finish. I started the day at Burbank airport. I ended it in a big, comfortable room above a historic train station in Denver, with my travel logistics basically handling themselves. Coming and going was effortless. When it was time to leave, I just retraced my steps in reverse. Out the door, onto the train, straight back toward the airport. No scrambling, no stress. By the time I headed home, I realized this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. Not because of one flashy moment, but because every part of the experience worked. The travel from Burbank, the arrival by train, the check in, the room, the staff, the location. It all lined up, and it all made sense. It’s the kind of stay that quietly ruins you for other hotels.
Great! Staff was very professional and helpful.
There was an issue with laundry-handling. Items submitted got temporarilty misplaced, but were then taken care of. The front desk staff handled the issue quickly and well. When the 3 items were laundered and returned, they were accompanied by 2 additional bags of laundry that were not ours. Unsure if the issue was with the staff or the 3rd party that handles laundry.
Fantastic room, a good size. Staff were helpful, one girl in particular who went beyond
We arrived by train from Chicago mid morning but couldn’t access room or even freshen up before 3pm Check in
Learning the history of Union Station and the Crawford Hotel is a must for visiting Denver. Our host and guide Jim is the most passionate, educated, and well spoken historian I've encountered in my global travels. He shares a vast knowledge of the city, surrounding areas, and really knows his stuff... no question is too much for Jim. Amazing location, amazing staff all the way around. A MUST SEE in Denver.
The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. The only issue we had was the room was not serviced and when we called down to ask for towels, it took a 2nd call to housekeeping to get them.
The amenities, services, etc were very good. Mercantile restaurant on site was excellent. Breakfast at Snooze also excellent.. Room, #319 extremely small, with no seating, desk or area to apply make up. It had no closet, 4 hangers on a rack above a small chest of drawers. The king bed was comfortable but it and two night stands took up the width of the entire room. The price value proposition for this room ($550+) was not in line. One of the perks of Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts is a complimentary room upgrade, if available at checkin. The clerk said no upgrades were available, despite being offered several paid upgrade options via an email just prior to the day of arrival. Overall the stay was fine for one night. The amenities made up for the small room.
The Crawford Hotel exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip to Denver. The location is outstanding, situated directly inside historic Union Station and within walking distance of many of Denver's best restaurants, bars, and attractions. It is difficult to find a more convenient and vibrant location in the city. The architecture and design are stunning. The restoration of Union Station is impressive, blending historic character with modern luxury. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed and gives the hotel a unique personality that you simply don't find in most chain hotels. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The beds were excellent, the amenities were first-class, and the entire property felt well maintained and welcoming. The restaurants, bars, and services throughout Union Station add to the experience and make the hotel feel like much more than just a place to sleep. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. I travel frequently and was genuinely impressed. The Crawford Hotel delivers a luxury experience while maintaining the charm and history that make it such a special destination. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you for allowing the Rocky Mountain Guides Association to tour Denver Union Station and the beautiful Crawford Hotel, such a unique property. The hotel is in the heart of Denver’s historic district and reflects that history by preserving the Union Station. Each restaurant is local (no national chains) with a variety of cuisines. The Crawford is well located near Denver’s sport stadiums, the nightlife of LoDo, and public transportation. Our guide and the hotel historian, Jim, did an excellent job telling us the history of the building as he showed us your iconic rooms and facilities. Definitely a place to stay.
Perfect hotel in every way...ideal location, friendly/helpful staff, great bars & food! Definitely recommend and will be going back.
My son and I are traveling to all the MLB stadiums, and this one is so close to Coors Field. The food options are amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was gorgeous. My son said this was his favorite hotel of all time, and I agree!
Location and how helpful the staff are.
We had a lovely time in Denver on our way to Moab, Utah. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks at the Cooper Lounge are exceptional with great service. Snooze and Mercantile are other notable eateries we enjoyed during out stay. I love the convenience of the train right outside our door!
The Crawford Hotel was very cool, and room was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was centrally located to Bars, Restaurants, and shopping. Easy to get Ubers around the city. We thought the staff was very helpful when needed and treated us like valued guests. We had fun conversations with Bartenders and check in staff everyone was very pleasant. Big Thank you to everyone!!
The Crawford, right in the middle of Union Station had a wonderful energetic vibe. Super cool, and the breakfast at Snooze was delicious! The bed was cozy and it was fun listening to the trains arrive and take off through the night. Great stay, I look forward to returning.
It was a very convenient place to stay. We flew into Denver, took the train from the airport, & took Amtrak to Colorado. Amtrak is a few minutes from the hotel.
It is very expensive.
I loved the staff. The location is great. The lounge on third floor was amazing. The manager and staff was excellent in the lounge.
Beautiful property with a lot of character, but not without its issues. Avoid room 331 if you’re in Denver — it sits directly beside the elevator, ice machine, and a bar floor restroom, which made for two sleepless nights due to noise and foot traffic outside our door. The hotel is also in a lively area with train noise that carries. For the price point, the experience fell short of expectations. The 5 stars is honestly for management responding well and refunding our stay — we appreciated that, but wouldn’t return.
We enjoyed two nights at The Crawford Hotel. Fun location, easy walk to Coors Field and Ball Arena. The staff was very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable. The loft room was clean and comfortable. We would consider a different room next time that has more windows. We were not able to take advantage of all of the offerings they provide but they do add value to your stay. The local transportation that was offered makes getting around very stress free. We had a fun time and would consider future stays at this property.
Ease of catching train trip from this location.
Very expensive.
The Crawford Hotel is a gorgeous property in a prime location. The staff was helpful and friendly, the facilities were top notch, and the decor was beautiful and welcoming while maintaining a historic feel.
Great location and great lounge for morning coffee or glass of wine before bed! Can't beat it! The A train takes you to and from the Denver airport for only $10. Free for those under 19yo
Had a wonderful stay! Beautiful room and amazing location, but really it was the staff that made it over the top. Alicia Galvin went above and beyond and really helped us when we had no where else to turn. She is an amazing Front Office Manager who really understands how much customer service matters. I believe she truly values the customer and that is hard to find these days. Will definitely be staying again!
We got a LoDo suite that was magnificent! Maximalist decor well done, comfortable king bed, large living room, espresso machine and a giant super wonderful bathroom with choice of rainfall or regular showerhead. We were so comfortable! Only slight annoyance was housekeeping did not come our second day, and we had to call about 3 times to get them up at 3pm.
Incredibly well thought out property in the old historic union station very good location for all downtown Dever activities, especially Rockies stadium etc. The Hotel is great, staff polished, friendly and on point! Great F&B close by, the terminal bar is exceptional. This is a must experience if heading to Denver. Also of note there is a relationship with the Oxford Club for the Gym, Spa etc. just close by across the street.
We stayed one night after our Canyon Spirit train vacation. The hotel is very convenient, and has a luxury feel. The room and front desk staff were excellent.
The Crawford is a gem - unique, luxurious, personal, and an ideal location for out-of-towners without a vehicle. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Amazing location, welcoming staff, and upscale room decor.
My husband and I stayed at the Crawford hotel the room that we had was very very nicely appointed however it could have been a bit cleaner as there was some dust in hair in places that shouldn’t have been the overall location of the hotel was central to most everything downtown which was very convenient. During check-in the amenities e.g., free coffee, ice cream, and happy hour were very vaguely explained leaving us questioning what to do afterwards. This will also go in the “review tips” section $68 / day to park. This is in addition to $30 / day resort fee.
10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Great historic spot excellent location and wonderful service. Super convenient with the train coming right to your doorstep
The Crawford Hotel is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at. Its location in Denver is perfect, with a wide variety of restaurants just steps away. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, which truly elevated the experience. Our room was beautiful, and the amenities included were plentiful and thoughtfully chosen. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Denver and would love to stay here again in the future.
Perfect for staying if flying in/out of Denver, or on Amtrak as you are steps away from the A Line that takes you straight to the Denver Airport, and Amtrak which right there also. The building has great insulation as we barely heard the trains even though we were right next to the tracks. Upper scale hotel with great security as a person needs a room key to operate the elevator to go up to their room. After getting off the elevator, a guest also needs to use their room key to open another door that allows entry into the hallway that the rooms are on. All the front desk personnel we encountered were very nice. Some good restaurants are in and next to Union Station. Our favorites were 'Venice' which is a fabulous Italian restaurant directly across the street. Another was 'Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant, or also known as The Rio on Wazee'. To the left of the station is 'Snooze', a very popular restaurant open 6am to 3pm, serving breakfast/brunch. A great perk is the hotel can help you to have a reserved table at Snooze if arranged the day before you want to dine there. The Thirsty Lion restaurant is also to the left of the station. But again, there are restaurants worth checking out that are located right inside the station. Rooms are clean but lighting leaves a lot to be desired as the rooms are dimly lit at night. Hanging space in the two rooms we had on different visits was sparse. They should take out the strange dresser drawer contraption and add in more hanging area. One of our rooms didn't have a desk so if you want a desk to work on with or without a laptop, be sure to request a room with a desk. The room with a desk didn't have any outlets nearby except for one that a lamp was plugged into so we unplugged the lamp to use the outlet. Furnishings are nice to look at, trendy/boutique style. The end table don't hold much on top due to the style as they curve severely on the sides which barely allows for a water bottle, cellphone, or what you want/need next to the bed at night. There was a lack of electrical outlets near the bed. There is a raised trim piece on the floor that covers the joining of the carpet and the wood flooring that is somewhat hazardous. We both tripped on it once. There is a $30/day fee for amenities such as a free coffee, a scoop of ice cream, transportation within 2 miles of the hotel, metal water bottles, etc. The shower had a overhead 'rain shower' and a fixed shower head on the wall instead of a shower head that is removable and able to be held which is much more desirable. Robes hanging in the bathroom are very small. Location is great, but there are many other hotels in the area to consider. We were able to use points accrued from a credit card or we probably wouldn't have stayed here due to the cost. But it was still nice to be able to stay inside the Union Station and experience all it has to offer.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Elegant rooms. Comfortable beds. Hot shower. On the free bus line. On the airport train line. Close to fantastic restaurants. Our experience was amazing.
Great experience. Awesome room and clean! Recommending some kind of night light in bathroom or in the entry way of room near the bathroom. Super dark when all the lights are off. There are lights under the bread, but they are too bright!
What a Charming Hotel, for a downtown property it was quite clean and elegant. Spacious rooms. with floor to ceiling windows made it seem like you were staying in a castle. great place to have a drink and people watch at the lobby bar. Easy to get to from the airport without needing a car.
Really fun, well thought out property at historic Union Station. The room really pay tribute to the historic nature of the property yet have all the modern needs. Location is A+. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great F&B options in the building, or at close walking distance, they have a shared agreement with Oxford Club across the street for Gym and spa. Highly recommend this property.
I loved the convenience of staying Historical The Crawford Hotel.
The Crawford is one of the fine boutique hotels in the nation. It is inspired by its namesake, the late Dana Crawford (former partner of Walter Isenberg of Sage Hospitality).
Absolutely loved this hotel! Room decor was very cool as was the interior architecture of the building. Appreciated the treats during cocktail hour and Elroy was so helpful and charming while valeting our car.
Hotel is in a wonderful location inside the Denver Union Station. The staff was exceptional and the room was incredible - beautifully furnished and decorated with two large windows. Location made it simple to take the light rail directly from the Denver airport to Union Station.
The Crawford Hotel is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. It's located RIGHT INSIDE Union Station - the heart of downtown. A few really specific notes: There's a gym in the basement that's ~ok.~ But they have a partnership with the Oxford - pretty much right across the street - and their gym is ~amazing.~ Ah-mazing. Please use that. You MUST valet park when you stay here. It's pricey, but it's 24/7 and the guys who work the valet are truly the most service-oriented people you've ever met. If you are fortunate enough to have Elroy park your car for you, or get it from wherever they keep them, you are lucky - and ask him for bar and restaurant recommendations! He's super helpful and just really, really nice. The room decor, and the decor of all of Union Station, are mid-century, consistent and really just very pleasing. Well-done on the part of the design team! Finally, The Crawford has a nightly "happy hour" offering - sometimes it's a delicious truffle, sometimes it's a charcuterie board in the upstairs bar area. Check that board every day! And the lovely staff who checks you in will of course offer you a glass of wine or prosecco as you arrive. This was really a Class-A operation and I would definitely stay here again.
Location easy to get to from Airport. Took train the next day.
Brief overnight stay only.
The location was amazing! Being inside Union Station you were within walking distance from everything. We had the superior loft and it did not disappoint. The room was extremely clean and we loved the unique design of the room. It was located on the 4th floor which used to be the attic of the train station. The train station was hopping at night but you could hear a pin drop in your room because it was SO quiet at night. From check in to check out the associates were amazing and extremely welcoming. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to Denver!!!!
Really nice rooms, clean, my great location and the staff are exceptional. Jennifer was exceptionally kind, customer-centric, and incredibly helpful in walking me through everything worth knowing about the local area. She brought amazing energy and such a positive attitude that you genuinely feel better after interacting with her. She is clearly top talent, the kind of person who will succeed one way or another because her ability to connect with people and deliver outstanding service is rare. They better be paying her a lot, and honestly, they should be building a team around her if that is one of her professional goals.
Amazing hotel. The history and ambiance is something to be experienced first hand. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. You can't beat the location. Right next to the trains and so many restaurants, shops and entertainment within walking distance. You get so many perks included in your stay. Free ice cream daily, free coffee daily at the shops in the lobby and free return Lyft rides within a certain mileage from the hotel. The rooms are decorated so beautifully. The water they provide tastes amazing after walking around town all day. Soooo cold and fresh. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish.
The Crawford staff is amazingly helpful and always friendly. Of course, the location is always a hit and ideal when you are visiting with family and friends.
Great place to stay and the staff was great I would highly recommend it their staff really tried to make our stay a fabulous day
Beautiful kept up older buildings that should be preserved. Paid extra for building upkeep but is well worth paying. Good to see security provided. Close to RTD train services that connects to airport. Walking distance to several big events.
We had a lovely stay at the Crawford Hotel. The hotel’s location is perfect for a visit to Denver. The Crawford is unique among the many other hotels we’ve visited - the historic surroundings, the high quality food and beverage options in the building, the very comfortable and very quiet room. Our visit exceeded our expectations. We’ll be back.
The ambience, the staff, and the beautifully decorated room. We liked it all
It was a difficult trip for me. I was in Denver to be with my father who is in very bad shape at St. Joseph's Hospital nearby you all. I spent 10-12 hours a day at the hospital with him caring for him and helping him to breath with his oxygen devices, and it was an absolute GODSEND to be able to leave the hospital and come back to such an incredible hotel and hotel room. Every single person was so empathetic and caring (I told them about the reason for my visit), and they went above and beyond to make sure my room was ready and stocked with all the relaxing creature comforts I could want when I came back exhausted every evening. I cannot sufficiently express the level of my gratitude to your wonderful staff in words. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
The hotel had been upgraded from the last time that we had stayed here. The check-in area was now enclosed and felt that I was checking into a hotel as compared to the previous experience. The room remodel was excellent and the room felt very upscale. The amenities (courtesy Lyft, evening drink, morning coffee) with the local vendors included with the room was a great addition and appreciated. Overall I highly recommend this hotel whether visiting Denver or you just need a weekend getaway!
This is a super cute hotel in the Grand Central Station. The rooms are beautifully appointed. There is a coffee maker and a refrigerator for your use.Location is great as they have several great restaurants in Grand Central Station . The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The stay exceeded my expectations and I would be very happy to come back
We loved our stay at the beautiful Crawford Hotel. From the moment we checked in we felt like honored guests. Melanie at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We were offered a glass of wine or prosecco, which we gladly accepted after a long day of travel! Our room was right off the hallway that overlooked the Union Station plaza area (reminded me of Grand Central Station), but was still very quiet. Our bed was very comfortable. The hotel offers two free drinks at the Terminal Bar, as well as a free scoop of ice cream at the creamery. The location next to the Amtrak was convenient, as well as downtown Denver. We would stay again!
The Crawford Hotel was a beautiful property right inside the Union Station. The room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. The hotel’s amenities were abundant, from a welcome glass of wine to a free drink at the Terminal Bar and free scoop of ice cream at the creamery. The downtown location was convenient, and of course, right next to the Amtrak tracks for easy access.
Nothing
The Crawford hotel is an amazing venue. Not only ws the room and hotel beautiful, from check in to check out staff ws amazing.
Overall, we had a nice stay in this hotel. The service is great, the room was clean and comfortable. There were just a few little things that were not great. The valet service took a long time, Elroy was great, but he's one person on a busy weekend. We would definitely stay at the Crawford again!
Great location and very nice boutique hotel. I really liked the fact they had dessert hour with some complimentary chocolates or desserts and also their set-up with the restaurants at the station. Breakfast credit was included and the breakfast restaurant was ok. I still prefer a hotel buffet-style restaurant for a high-end hotel but this also worked out ok. The staff were very friendly. They offered wine or drinks at arrival which was nice. The only negative I can think of was the smell of food in the mornings in the room. I think it's inevitable as there are multiple restaurants on-site at the main station and the rooms are located in the hall (which is actually gorgeous). I needed in-and-out for parking so didn't use their valet service and instead parked in a close-by parking lot.
We loved The Crawford Hotel!! Our loft room was spacious and decorated nicely. Jennifer at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. We had two valet attendants that were especially great, Elroy on 3/8/26 and, I think, Kevin was his name, when we arrived the morning of 3/6/26!
Our stay was beyond our expectations! The staff took great care of us from the moment we checked in. My friends and I were so impressed with the customer service and the personal touches from Gracie, Catrina, Wiatt and Melanie. Also Joey from Valet was so helpful and attentive. The room was exquisite, we truly felt so spoiled! We will definitely be back!
This is one of the best places you can go in Denver, the one and only problem is the homeless that are allowed to roam the public area. It seems like the hotel has everything possible to isolate their guests from this problem once you check in. The common area where you can enjoy a coffee or food item in the beautiful atrium area is littered with homeless spewing profanities and shouting nonsense. I do realize it is a city issue as this is also a train station but wish this beautiful gem of a property could resolve the problem.
Fantastic hotel in Union Station. Great food and drinks within the building, yet with room set off enough to feel private. Great service and friendly staff. I will stay again next time I’m in Denver.
A step back in time to enjoy the experience of staying in a train station. Everything was perfect, from check in, atmosphere, relaxation and within walking distance to everything we needed.
We loved staying at the Crawford. We arrived to a nice glass of wine for my husband and prosecco for me. Plus a little, delicious dessert. Check-in was fast and efficient and we were handed our room keys with both hands. Our room had very high ceilings with very long curtains to match. Everything in the room was upscale. Nice bathroom and bed. Enjoyed the Keurig in the room for coffee. Aluminum water bottles and no single use plastics made us happy. In the world where you are always getting nickled and dimed, at the Crawford you get free water, free ice cream (though we arri ve too late), and free morning coffee at the shop in the main hall. Lots of restaurants in the mall hall make it so convenient. We arrived by train and the hotel is steps away. We will return as we enjoyed the entire experience and The Crawford is our new favorite hotel.
Nice rooms and cool vibe in the Union Station area, but check-in was difficult, and we were given room keys that had not been activated. The valet is unreliable and slow, and is not available 24 hours a day.
NA
The alarm clock was a nightmare. Had to have front desk do a wake up call.
We stayed one glorious night and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any hotel, ever! Well worth the money! I encourage everyone to check this place out! From the spotless room to the friendly and accommodating staff, The Crawford is my new favorite hotel! Shout out to Melanie for helping to make our trip amazing. Applause!
What a unique stay? The location and the history of the building added to the experience. So fun and great for Girls getaway.
Fantastic place to stay. Extreamly easy to access from the airport via the train. (25min) $7.00. Hotel rooms feel more like home than a hotel. Very pleased will definitly come back if in the area. Very detail oriented staff, overdelivered on expectastions.
You never have to leave the building! Shops and restaurants inside.Great staff! Shout out to Blake and Melanie. Can’t wait till the next visit!
The hotel spoils their guests - a free ice cream scoop and drip coffee per day. Free Lyft rides within a 2 mile radius! Free water, tea, coffee in the room. Beautiful rooms! Wow! Train from the airport to Union Station was super convenient for staying at the hotel.
