Personnel and location are good.

It definitely needs maintenance. There was sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink, everything is dated and not taken care of. The breakfast isn't good.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Lage ist top

Das erste Zimmer roch stark nach Schimmel und hatte Flecken an der Wand. Nach Ansprache durften wir das Zimmer wechseln. Die Zimmer und Betten sind Renovierungsbedürftig.

Nagyon kedves és segítőkész vezető fogadott minket. Mindenről tájékozatott minket/mire figyeljünk, mit tegyünk, ha probléma merül fel/akkor nyugodtan hívjuk és jön segít//. Mindent igyekeztek megtenni, hogy jól érezzük magunkat és ez sikerült is. A hotel nagyon kellemes környezetben , nagyon szép kilátással rendelkezik a tetőterasz. A személyzet is nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. A reggeli bőséges és mindig finom volt. Csak ajánlani tudom a szállást, mi még biztos visszatérünk.

Nem találtam ilyet. Amire készülni kell, hogy mivel közel van a Kék Mecset, ezért az imára hívás némelyeknek zavaró lehet, napi ötször. minket ez nem zavart egyáltalán.

Nada, todo excelente, si tendria algo para observar es el baño que es bastante chico pero entiendo que tampoco hay tanto espacio en esa parte de la ciudad.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Katelya. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et varié, avec des fruits frais, des viennoiseries et même du miel en rayon 🤩 Le personnel était accueillant, attentionné et discret. Tout était très bien organisé et nous nous sommes vraiment bien reposés. En pleine chaleur, retrouver la fraîcheur de l’hôtel était particulièrement agréable!

O experiență foarte plăcută! Hotelul ne-a oferit condiții bune, însă ceea ce ne-a impresionat cel mai mult a fost personalul: oameni deosebit de amabili, atenți, zâmbitori și mereu gata să ajute. Se simte că pun suflet în ceea ce fac și că își doresc ca fiecare oaspete să se simtă bine. Mulțumim pentru ospitalitate și pentru frumoasa experiență! 

Locatie superba cu terasa pe acoperis pentru privelisti minunate, la 2 minute de mers pe jos pana la Moschea Albastra, Hagia Sofia si linia de tramvai.

Staff amabil, vorbitor de engleza, cazare comfortabila, pozitionare foarte buna pentru obiectivele turistice din Sultanahmet, statie de tramvai la 10 minute de mers pe jos fara graba. Proprietatea are o terasa amenajat pe acoperis cu priveliste frumoasa. Mic dejun consistent de tip bufet.

Nu pot spune ca au fost lucruri care sa nu imi placa, mici retusuri ar putea fi facute in zona baiii din camera.

The location was on the European side of Istanbul in the ’old town’ and breakfast was included with a wide variety and delicious. It was very central by walking to the main top 10 highlights of Istanbul ..Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Guilane Park and Grand Bazaar …to name a few . The rooms were exceptionally clean and the reception staff were there 24/7. They spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful. Every time we asked them for advice….they were spot on and I found a place for a good manicure, an excellent Turkish bath, and a nearby mini mart with cheap prices. A bonus was the roof top area to relax and take in the stunning view of the Marmara Sea. I could not recommend this hotel more highly!!

This hotel is built on the ruins of the Boukoleon Palace which was built in the 5th Century, and although we read the plaque that was in the breakfast area, we didn’t realise this for a few days as the lights under the floor to showcase these ruins were not turned on in the morning for breakfast. Please turn on these lights.

Comfort, tranquility, cleanliness, friendly hosts, located near major tourist attractions, assistance from staff for parking the car in front of the hotel, extraordinary terrace with a stunning view on the top floor open 24/7, convenient lift to the floor, towels changed daily, always bottled water in the room, very good WiFi, convenient restaurants nearby, support from staff for participating in excursions (I conveniently purchased a Bosphorus cruise with pickup from the hotel).

It would have been nice to have a TV signal, but that really doesn't matter anymore given how many options there are to watch nearby. Including the terrace Bosfor, and city view.

The rooftop terrace has an amazing view of the sea and was perfect for our lunch takeaways. Also, Yunus was really kind as he helped us find cheap takeaway options for dinner.

The food could be wrapped or covered as we saw a few flies in the breakfast room. Neverless, the food was very nice. Perhaps hiring staff for making dinner and then charging extra would also be good.

Уютный небольшой отель, с потрясающей террасой и красивым видом на море. Персонал очень приветливый. Номер симпатичный, кровать удобная. Нет шума с улицы. Рядом много ресторанчиков, в пяти минутах ходьбы Голубая мечеть. Уехали рано, до завтрака. За трансфер отдельное спасибо.

Hotel pequeño muy bien situado El personal maravilloso siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Todos los días limpiaban ponían toallas limpias, al igual que 1 botella de agua de cortesía en la habitación. El desayuno muy rico y te preparaban si querias una tortilla francesa al momento. La terraza un lujo. Si vuelvo a Estambul volveré a alojarme aquí.

Perfect location. Lovely clean private family suite . Incredibly polite and helpful staff. I discussed with them beforehand that we would be arriving at 2 am and we needed room for 5 huge suitcases and a wheeler full of cheese from England ! They had someone waiting at the door . Took our luggage downstairs to a safe area and we had a huge fridge for the cheese ! They also had a lovely roof top terrace in the main hotel with fantastic views which we only discovered on the last day. Got the place for 3 nights at an incredible price too

スルタンアフメット地区のホテル評価でよく書き込みされているのが、観光には便利だが周辺が騒がしいとの意見が多い事です。その点今回このホテルに４泊しましたが４日間静かに過ごすことが出来ました。 ホテルまでのアクセスはトラムヴァイT1路線のスルタンアフメット駅からも徒歩圏内ですが、なんといってもイスタンブール空港からスルタンアフメットまでのシャトルバスHAVIST11 のチャトラドゥカプ停留所から徒歩約10分前後でアクセス可能で非常に便利でした。 スタッフは皆さんフレンドリーで、チェックイン時にはイスタンブール観光の見所を丁寧に説明していただき、又チェックアウト時にはのお土産までいただきました。 連日猛暑が続く8月に宿泊しましたが、毎日ミネラルウォーター1.5リットルのペットボトルを補充してくれるサービスは大変ありがたかったです。

Расположение рядом с достопримечательностями старого города: Топкапы, Гюльхане, Айясофией, площадью Султанахмет. При этом расположен на тихой улице, на удалении от трамвайных путей и постоянного шума и звона от них. Так как далеко не первый раз в Стамбуле, могу точно сказать, что редко можно найти тихий отель близко к основным достопримечательностям. Отдельно хочу отметить завтрак, пожалуй, пока лучший из тех, что встречали в отелях Стамбула. Помимо яичниц и стандартного набора, был йогурт (за что отдельное спасибо), сухофрукты, джемы, спелые вкусные фрукты. Очень приветливые администраторы, ещё и маленький подарочек при выезде подарили 😊 Да, ещё красивая терраса на крыше, вся в зелени и цветах!

Небольшие номера, но так везде в Стамбуле. Это не минус, просто будьте готовы.

Charmant petit hôtel, à 2 pas de la mosquée bleue, dans un quartier calme. Tres bons petit-déjeuners et terrasse splendide ouverte 24h/24. Le personnel était très agréable et nous a donné pleins d'informations pour les visites. Merci aussi pour le petit mot au début du sejour avec l'oeillet ainsi que le cadeau à la fin du séjour ! Je recommende les yeux fermés !

Been to Istanbul many times, and this was for sure the best stay I've had so far. Katelya Hotel will be for sure my future go to place in Istanbul. Staff were really attentive and friendly from check-in to check-out. Congratulations to the team, keep up the excellent work. Breakfast was great, with a big selection of local products. Excellent coffee, tea, local cheese, fruits, even honey and freshly made omelets :) Room was spacious and clean, exactly what you want after a day of exploring. Location is a plus too. Just 100m from Sultanahmet area, close enough to walk to almost anything. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Istanbul's old city.

The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing in the Fatih neighborhood only 10 min walking away from the main attractions but at the same time on quiet street. The room was clean and kept cooled down with the AC on all day. The breakfast was very good and in addition the hotel has a rooftop terrace with beautiful view. Very easy to access with car from the main road with parking space secured in front of the hotel! Everyone from the staff was very kind. Definitely recommend and would book again in future.

The location is great. Not far from the Blue Mosque and other main attractions. A pleasant street. Not far from the Havait bus to the airport. Beautiful rooftop terrace with the city skyline views Amazing staff Clean Comfortable setup: storage, table, chairs, mini fridge, water bottle filled daily, nice towels, comfortable bed, nice toiletries, etc. A nice breakfast including some local specialties; the breakfast is served in the basement and has visible ruins of a palace beneath its floors.

While the room and the hotel were very clean, it could benefit from a few updates/grout cleaning. There was noise behind our windows on the ground floor on the first night but I understand the location is considered generally quiet. Serving breakfast on the rooftop would be much better. I saw at least one hotel at this price range (even considering the deep discount) with nicer facilities and a rooftop breakfast.

Un hotel care ne-a plăcut foarte mult, personalul este foarte drăguț și amabil, având grijă să ne asigure un loc de parcare exact lângă locație, micul dejun foarte bun, iar terasa de deasupra hotelului este foarte frumos amenajată și oferă o priveliște superbă către oraș și către mare.

La centralità e la tranquillità dell'hotel. La estrema cordialità, gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. Un caro saluto a Yasin sempre disponibile e cortese.

Gruppo di tre amici in moto. Prima notte nella dependance (bell'appartamento con balcone, anche se un po' scomoda la scala di accesso). Poi tre notti nel corpo principale dell'hotel in bella stanza accogliente e luminosa. Saletta per la colazione piccola ma mai affollata; colazione varia e abbondante. Gentilissimo lo staff, prodigo di consigli sulle migliori attrazioni della città.

Una struttura piccola ma piacevole , ottima posizione vicino alla Moschea Bleu al Gran Bazzar e altro!! Colazione salata ottima , di dolce poco. Ci siamo trivati molto bene . Ultimo piano c’è una bella terrazza

Tv senza Yotube , ma e’ un dettaglio , si esce sempre anche la sera !!!

The positive customer reviews are spot on. We had a brilliant stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and a bottle of water was provided every day, which was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was good and varied; there’s easily something to suit every taste. A special mention to the ladies who run the buffet – they’re brilliant and very attentive. The hotel’s location is a real highlight: it’s a 5- to 10-minute walk to the mosques, historic monuments and the Sultanahmet stop on the T1 tram line. It’s worth noting that there’s a slight slope on the way there, but it’s still a very quick walk and ideal for catching the T1 tram and exploring the rest of the city. Without forgetting the hotel’s terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the sea – the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon or watch the sunset. A big thank you to the whole Katelya team, who are extremely kind, welcoming and helpful, including Yasin, who was a great help. It’s absolutely flawless. A place to keep carefully noted for our future trips!

It’s not a significant issue and doesn’t affect my overall opinion of the stay in any way, but perhaps a little greasy lubricant could be applied to the bathroom door to stop it squeaking :) :)

Delizioso albergo di piccole dimensioni a gestione famigliare. Posizione centralissima, 5 minuti a piedi dalla Moschea Blu e quindi dal centro di Istanbul. Camera con vista mare direttamente sul Bosforo. Struttura pulita e molto accogliente. All'ultimo piano presente una terrazza attrezzata con sdraio, ombrelloni e piante dal quale si può ammirare a 360 gradi tutta Istanbul (moschea blu, santa sofia, topkapi, il bosforo, etc). Colazione ottima e abbondante (salata e dolce) e lo staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzato anche transfer dall'aeroporto la sera in cui siamo arrivati. Quartiere tranquillo e pieno di ristoranti, bar e qualche piccolo supermercato. Se torno a Istanbul sicuramente ritorno a Katelya Hotel

Lovely boutique hotel in the ‘old city’. Only 5 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. Excellent clean facilities with a fantastic rooftop terrace. Breakfast was provided with a great choice of hot and cold foods to cater for every taste. Staff were always professional, cheerful and accommodating, particularly Yasin and Yunus. Thoroughly recommend this terrific hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Katelya hotel da 21 al 26 giugno. È un bell’hotel con terrazza panoramica e una bella sala colazione. Il nostro soggiorno è stato impeccabile, molto comodo per la posizione strategica vicino alla Moschea Blu e con uno staff gentile e disponibile!
