We enjoyed everything.

Since it was a wedding anniversary with 4 nights at a 5 star expensive hotel, and although it was made an upgrade for a higher bedroom (due to availability), we were expecting at least a bottle of sparkling wine/champagne on arrival in the bedroom. Apart from that, no more recommendations.

Phenomenal resort. Exceeded all expectations. Had a small issue with ants in our room( which can happen near an ocean). They delt with appropriately and adequately. The kindest staff I've ever seen on a resort. The best breakfast offered... ever... and I'm a foodie. One hundred percent recommended

From the moment we arrived it was clear that care was taken with every aspect of our stay from welcoming us on arrival to the immaculate rooms and the amazing and extensive buffet. Staff throughout were exceptional, always friendly, helpful and really added to the experience. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 12yrs/9yrs) and all felt very welcome throughout. It was a very short walk to two different beaches which were great or, a slightly longer walk (approx 5mins) to another beach were we could arrange jet skiing or other water sports. We also enjoyed the pool areas and the kids especially enjoyed the milkshakes we could order from the pool bar. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here.

Die liegen am Pool werden schon morgens um 7 Uhr belegt, obwohl es verboten ist. Das verbot wird leider nicht durchgesetzt. Porto del Carmen ist ein quirliger Ort, mit vielen kleinen Bier - Buden und souvenirgeschäften - leider nicht sehr hübsch und voll von halbnackten Briten - das Hotel scheint wie eine kleine ruhige Oase Die Kellner können sich noch etwas mehr an ihre Gäste erinnern - ist irgendwie fremd, jeden Abend nach der Zimmer-Nummer gefragt zu werden. Das ist aber meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau

We had a lovely stay, from the moment you arrive the staff makes you feel welcomed and provide the support and assistance. The place is beautiful all around! It’s in a perfect location, close to all amenities and right next to the beach. Food, drinks and service are excellent! We will be coming back for sure!

Writing this currently by the hotel pool. We leave tomorrow but said id post while still in paradise!. Our 3rd time back (that in itself tells alot) and this is still our favourite hotel. From the moment we arrived in a taxi we were looked after so well. We had the breakfast included and it has absolutely everything you could think of. From a fresh omelette station, juice making station and even a champagne area (to make the breakfast that little bit extra). The food selections changed daily, something new each day. The pool is fantastic, with many areas to choose where you chill out. No rush on beds, although by 10am it's pretty full. The views are breath taking around the hotel. I can't comment on the restaurants for dinner as we ate out each night, but the mango daiquiris by the pool are a must. I went to the Spa this time and it's the best to date. Staff, facilities, views and my treatment. I didn't catch the ladies name but she has hands of gold, the best full body massage I've got Thank You!!! The spa is new and a must if visiting this hotel. No doubt we will be back - 10/10 again for us!!

Hotel is excellent from start to finish, upon arrival you are warmly greeted with glass of bubbly or if you prefer non alcoholic, check in was smooth and our bags taken to our room, this was our 3rd visit and we requested a room we had before which was accommodated. We were bed and breakfast and as always this was excellent. We were advised by Jet2 that there was excavation work nearby which did worry us however we didn’t hear any noise during our stay so just ignore that email if you get one. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, cleaning staff do a great job. My only gripe about our stay was when we were invited to a get together to meet staff and chat to other guest, we arrived and not one staff member spoke to us until nearer the end, it was extremely awkward, we’re fairly quiet and expected the staff ( which was management by the way) to approach us. If you a quite couple don’t go along to that. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it’s quiet and that suits us.

So I had a short break away and really rated this hotel in Lanzarote highly. It's an oasis that could easily rival not just its competitors there but can hold its own on a worldwide stage. Check in was smooth, friendly, efficient and personal. I was seated and offered a drink. Had some key points explained, my car was parked in the underground car park and my bags taken care of. Parking was €20 p/night. I stayed in a suite and it was lovely. Separate sitting/dining room, large balcony with views over the main pool and sea, massive bed and beautiful bathroom with a free-standing bathtub for those who value one. I was provided with 2 bottles of water, 2 beers and a couple of juices, as well as crisps and nuts, which were replenished every day. Housekeeping were splendid. Friendly when I ran into them. Turn down service included the obligatory chocolate. There's always going to be some muppets that insist on reserving sun beds and not using them for much of the day but despite this, and perhaps thanks to the poolside attendants, there was always a choice of beds. There are several quieter areas further from the pool but great for quiet sunbathing and direct access to a quiet(ish) beach. Yes there were one or two niggles but I would stress how minor they were. The "exclusive" rooftop pool for suites only felt forgotten about by staff. No clean towels and the bar up there was closed. On the one morning I did go to the restaurant for breakfast I wasn't shown to my table, just directed to sit anywhere that was laid. I ate in the bar and had room service once. Both were very good. Pedro, the bar manager, was a friendly constant who works hard to keep things smooth. I leave here tomorrow hoping to return soon. Recommended

Parking is really difficult, as so close to beach all spaces are continually used no mater what time of day is is. Therefore no choice but to park in hotel car park at a charge of $20 a day

Just returned from our favourite Hotel, it's very hard to think of staying anywhere else. We feel at home as soon as we walk in. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the marvellous staff. Special mention to Harriet and Ulrike for their care while we were there. In the restaurant, Pedro, Alexandra and Gaspar. Finally congratulations to Emilie on her promotion to manager which is fully deserved, she is doing an excellent job. Can't wait to return.

From our arrival at check in, our room, the hotel inside and out, the hotel staff everything was just beautiful.

We stayed here on our honeymoon, and every little detail was noticed. The cava on arrival, the extra details I had requested on arrival. It was magical. The breakfast delivered to our room every morning was such an excellent touch, as my wife and I don’t usually mix well with others at breakfast. Housekeeping were amazing, looking after our room really well, and I’d like to give special thanks to the lady who came to my room every single day to ask if we needed anything and gave me chocolates. She was honestly so lovely and possibly the highlight of my stay!😂 The BBQ and the Chefs table were great experiences and we’d both like to thank all the staff involved who made it so nice. We are terrible at remembering names but the blonde lady who also works at guest experience did a great job, as a restaurant manager myself I think she did a fabulous job, and the food was amazing!!!! A building can have all the luxuries it wants but without great staff it means nothing, thank you to every single staff member who made our stay so special, from the second we got out of our taxi we were made feel so special. You will be seeing us again!

The hotel staff is great, the daily breakfast and dinner buffet have a good selection of healthy food options.

The horrendous tourists that think reserving a spot at the pool is a good idea. At times premium spots have been reserved and for 3-4 hours no one was actually at the reserved spot. The hotel claims that after 1 hour the towels will be removed, but in reality that's not happening.

Beautiful property in a stunning location.

The Hotel Fariones is built for relaxation. The location, and the thoughtful landscaping creates a peaceful atmosphere where you want to spend a lot of time. There are plenty of sunbeds and sun worshiping areas where you can find peace and scenery of the sea and coastline. The sandy beaches are directly accessed from the hotel with your door key. Our room was spacious and well looked after, with beautiful sea views. So, Staff - Marvellous. Breakfast - Marvellous. Food - Marvellous. Chefs Table on Saturdays - Marvellous. Poolside Service - Marvellous. Cocktails - Marvellous. Hotel - Marvellous. Location - Marvellous. Special thanks to the Chef and our hosts for the Chefs Table evening with wine. Good value and beautiful setting. This is a spacious 5 star hotel, which maintains a lovely relaxed atmosphere where the staff are friendly and let you relax while maintaining excellent standards. Would we stay again? Already having a look! Top tip - we would never book an EasyJet holiday again. Tui do it much better. Our pick-up was 4 hours before our flight resulting in an hours wait before our check in opened. This caused anxiety to other passengers who were on earlier flights caught up in a badly managed fiasco.

The service is 5star, the private beach, the infinity pool, the Sun loungers all around the property taking in amazing views of the sea and mountains and the jacuzzi on our balcony.

The hotel is nested inside a botanical garden enclosed in palm trees, with a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean. We enjoyed the feeling of being in a private oasis with direct access to the beach. The level of service, the quality of the food, and the beauty of the hotel simply transports you into another time. We traveled extensively in the past 15 years, and this was the best hotel we ever stayed in. We will definitely go back! P.S. Make sure you vist the Japanese restaurant!

This hotel is very special, the breakfast buffet, pool, beach, comfy beds! The staff are especially nice, always happy, helpful and efficient. The guest experience team, particularly Harriet, are superb. This hotel would be very hard to beat, anywhere in the world.

This was our 2nd visit and it felt as soon as we arrived that we were home. The hotel was immaculate as always,everyone had a smile and greeting, air con was a blessing and surroundings of the hotel such as the pool and gardens were excellent. We felt thoroughly pampered in our unfortunately too short 7 day stay and nothing was too much trouble. Beds were comfy, bottles of water replenished daily and towels changed even before you knew they needed to be changed! Particular praise for David the main pool guy, Edina on Guest experience as well as carols and nicki who were on pool bar service and all of whom did an excellent job. We will return again and are already saving up!

This is an lovely Hotel as you walk through the sliding doors it's like you entered a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle of the Puerto Del Carmen strip. There is a fragrance in the main entrance lobby that hits you as you enter. and the view of the pool area with the lush green palm trees is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with fantastic views of the sea. Buffet breakfast was really good great selection you can't go hungry. Pool area was spotless as was the Hotel and grounds. The Staff are very friendly and welcoming You would not be disappointed by booking this Hotel

Just returned from a 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel. It really is a tropical paradise. We had a relax junior suite with sea view & balcony with a hot tub. The room overlooked the beach, We both slept so well, the bed was amazing & pillows so comfortable. We arrived to a bottle of cava & plate of cheeses & chutney, which was very tasty. We celebrated my birthday during our stay & the hotel made a small cake for me which was divine! The next day was our wedding anniversary & we were given the most beautiful arrangement of red roses we’ve ever seen. As for the food it really was 5* so much choice for breakfast & evening meal, which was amazing. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful surround by tropical plants, palm trees & so many cozy areas to sit & chill out. There is rooftop pool exclusive to the suite Rooms & which we thoroughly enjoyed. All the staff are so lovely & friendly. We cannot wait to return one day.

Exceptional Stay for a Special Occasion – Highly Recommend! We recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate a major wedding anniversary, and it exceeded all expectations. Location & Amenities The hotel boasts a fantastic, central location that makes exploring the area incredibly easy. The property itself is beautiful, featuring spacious rooms, beautifully maintained gardens, and deeply relaxing pool areas. Outstanding Service & Staff What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every single employee we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Management went above and beyond by acknowledging our anniversary with beautiful flowers and chocolate dates in the room, and they seamlessly accommodated our request for adjacent rooms. They even granted a late checkout on one of our rooms, allowing us to fully maximize our final day. While everyone was wonderful, a few standout team members deserve a special mention: • Reception & Guest Relations: Javier (who gave us a wonderful welcome at check-in), Manuel, Oliver, Barbara, and Ulrike from Guest Relations. • Food & Beverage: Miguel from the Barra terrace, Lucia, and the fantastic evening bar staff who made nightcap drinks so enjoyable. • Pool Attendants: David and Illiya are hands-down the best pool attendants we have ever encountered in our travels. They are incredibly proactive, friendly, and clearly love what they do. A perfect example of the stellar service here was when David noticed some teenagers becoming a bit boisterous in the pool. Instead of making a scene, he discreetly and respectfully spoke to them, explaining the hotel’s focus on relaxation, and even offered them a ball to take down to the beach. It was a masterclass in preventative hospitality that ensured a peaceful environment for all guests. Final Thoughts Everything about this hotel and its dedicated team made our holiday unforgettable. We were very sad to have left Fariones yesterday after a wonderful 10 day stay. This was our 4th stay at Fariones and was, once again, perfect. Aside from the usual comments about the hotel, location, decor, cleanliness, facilities which are all top notch the real wow factor comes from the people, the team. The people make the experience. Otherwise it would just be another very nice hotel. Every team member we have encountered over our 4 years of visiting are incredibly courteous, kind, friendly, helpful and make us feel like family. Nothing is too much trouble and they all work incredibly hard. It would wrong of me to name names as I'm sure to leave someone else but I cannot praise the staff enough, this year has been no exception. So thank you, a huge thank you to you all.

Hotel Fariones is a superb hotel. The whole experience is wonderful. The staff are super professional. A high quality, very relaxing holiday with a quiet old port area and also lively town both just a walk away.

First time in Lanzarote and we booked through Jet 2's Indulgent Escapes. We have used this element of Jet 2 a few times now and they have provided some amazing hotels for the money. This was one of them. A lovely suite on the 7th floor with a large bathroom with huge shower, his and her sinks, big bath, living room, kitchenette, fridge, loads of wardrobe space with loads of hangers. Slippers, beach bag, flip flops, wine and cheese on arrival, comfy bed, big balcony with comfy chairs, coffee table and dining table and chairs, everything about the room was perfect. Staff are super helpful and nice. I realised when checking out that I had lost my snorkel and flippers, and that I must have left them under a sun bed. I checked with the towel guy and he said try reception. There they were bagged and tagged in a cupboard, awaiting collection, Phew! We stayed as B&B and breakfast was very varied. Even if you wanted to go Full English, there were different veg, mushrooms, a variety of sausages, hash browns, variety of eggs, omelettes, two types of bacon, great continental options, bread & Pastries and even Cava. We came into the buffet restaurant a couple of times and it was about €55 per person. Great selections, even for my vegetarian wife. The pool is lovely. As an IE guest you have access to the roof top pool. There is a bar up there but if it is not busy, you have to call down for a drink. It was a bit windy when we went so we stayed at the amin pool. The gardens are lovely. So many plants and birds, they even have an orchid house! The pool is lovely and a good temperature. A great beach and good snorkelling with plenty of fish near the rocks. Great pool staff, serving drinks and the towel/lifeguard guys. Super friendly and engaging. A credit to the hotel. We had a couples massage in the spa. OMG, Amazing massage for around 70 minutes. Prices are what you would expect in a good hotel but there are various options to suit all wallets. The Spa itself was great with Sauna, steam rooms, fragrent showers, jets and a cold plunge pool. A great hotel with amazing staff, Top Marks to you all : )

Our last stay here was 3 years ago but from moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we left we were treated like old friends. The staff are exceptional and the service is 1st class. The rooms are spotless clean and the cleaners are so good the rooms still look like they've just opened the hotel. The breakfast is amazing with an incredible choice of foods and staff providing excellent service. This is our favourite hotel and I already cannot wait to come back. Beautiful hotel. Staff were fantastic. The room we stayed in was fantastic. I usually struggle to sleep on holiday, but the bed was so comfortable I had no problem. I really liked the different areas they had to sun bathe, so we never felt crammed in, like other hotels we have stayed in. From the first day until the last day of our stay we felt looked after and nothing was a problem. I also loved the flowers that were put in our room on arrival for our anniversary, which I thought was such a lovely thing to do. We loved it here so much, that we have already booked to come back next year.

Perfect location for both old town and the main strip although old town had nice restaurants there’s nothing else there, the strip is lively and restaurants are fine but to much, far to over the top, reminds me of magaluf in the 80’s. Hassling to drag you in to eat etc. I’ll just The hotel is superb cannot fault anything, so clean everywhere towels changed twice daily and the staff are amazing from top end people to round the pool staff. Specially thanks to David the pool/towel guy, really friendly and clearly loves his job, proper peoples person. Entertainment is ok to fair mainly singers but shame it finishes at 10pm then it’s complete silence, please at least put on some backing music or something. Good value although drinks a little expensive 16Euros for Hendricks, 5.5euros for large beer which is the size of a smaller tin of beer at home. Rooms superb, just cannot fault. good atmosphere around the place. The pool is lovely however if your a sun person not sure this is the place, palm tree everywhere so most places in the shade, Even round the pool. Would defo return the hotel is amazing but the surrounding area lets it down for us.

Could not fault the hotel but the area is just ok, lots of £1 a pint bars and restaurants in the area were not great. If this hotel could be air lifted to Playa Blanca and the Rubicon marina it would be perfect.

This is our third time staying at the Fariones, it’s a beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, it’s super clean, the service is excellent, turndown service in the evening, breakfast in the morning so much to choose from, we ate twice in the evening for dinner, (not the buffet) outside on the terrace, it’s a hotel you can go to if you’re on your own. Thank you to all staff, we had a fabulous stay.

Well run and very clean. Entertainment was poor and less than hour most nights. No atmosphere in evenings. Drinks very expensive.

Spectacular. Like most things in life….you pay for what you get. Lives up to its 5* rating. Would pitch this as equal to many top hotels in Dubai. Staff fantastic, food and drink exceptional and facilities faultless.

The hotel is an oasis of beauty and calm. The decor is welcoming, not overwhelming like some five star resorts. There is a difference between being fussed over and cared for. The air quality on the island is wonderful so it is a great pleasure just to sit on the comfortable balcony chairs, look at the pool & the ocean and BREATHE. Just out the door is a lively holiday town with every practical thing you might need.

Marble floors in shower and bathroom. So beautiful but I wonder if there are falls because the clientele are not youngsters. There was music in the evening. Sometimes I listened, sometimes I just shut the heavy doors and curtains.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming but unobtrusive, I was able to really unwind and have a completely relaxing stay, just as I wanted it. Everywhere throughout is lovely and clean and well taken care of. Grounds/ gardens are gorgeous and the spa and the spa staff / service are first rate.

Everything was really great but if I had to be picky - food at the buffet restaurant could perhaps be a little tastier/ higher standard. Corridors outside rooms a little noisy at times.

We have lost count of how many times we have stayed at Hotel Fariones and we booked a return visit in July on route to the airport for our flight home. This is the best indicator of how good Hotel Fariones is. The hotel, its facilities and its staff are exceptional. You will find cheaper hotels on the island which hold a 5 star rating but none come close to rivalling Hotel Fariones. From the moment you arrive until you leave, they have everything covered. Thank you Harriett and Team for looking after us so well (again!).

Gym and SPA facilities are outside the hotel in a common area accessible to people outside the hotel and not the standards of a 5 stars. There was a sauna inside the hotel but it came at a quite steep extra cost. Staff on average was not the standards you would expect

We have lost count of how many times we have stayed at Hotel Fariones and we booked a return visit in July on route to the airport for our flight home. This is the best indicator of how good Hotel Fariones is. The hotel, its facilities and its staff are exceptional. You will find cheaper hotels on the island which hold a 5 star rating but none come close to rivalling Hotel Fariones. From the moment you arrive until you leave, they have everything covered. Thank you Harriett and Team for looking after us so well (again!).

Our second visit to this hotel and once again it was superb. The food and accommodation could not be faulted and always sun beds available. All the staff were kind and helpful and we were well looked after for our entire stay

This hotel just does everything right. We have stayed in a lot of good hotels on the island but this is number one by far. Great arrival with the most professional and friendly staff, spotless soundproof room with beautiful views and a faultless buffet breakfast. We booked b+b as the area around the hotel is great for meals and drinks. The gardens are exquisite and perfectly kept. Plenty sun loungers and the pool and jacuzzis were a nice temperature. Can’t wait to return

We had the most amazing stay last week. The hotel is stunning, the staff are incredible and the grounds offer pockets of tranquility around the amazing palm gardens. I cannot fault this hotel, will be back again soon! Great job to all the team!

We had a fantastic stay: great service provided by a very kind and attentive team, lush garden & wonderful chill/pool areas, lovely rooms with comfy beds and balcony armchairs, good sports possibilities, fantastic breakfast and excellent dinners (Chef‘s table / Kaori). One of the best European hotels we’ve visited so far and we will definitely return! :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Fariones in Lanzarote. The gardens are absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained with lush plants and flowers that create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The culinary experiences were a highlight: both the Chef’s Table and the Friday BBQ were exceptional—thoughtfully curated, delicious, and very generous. The spa is brand new, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. A special mention goes to the incredibly kind and attentive staff, especially the manager Carlos, who made our stay even more memorable. The quality of food and wine was consistently excellent across the buffet restaurant, the à la carte restaurant, and even the pool snack bar. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing bed and pillows, and a balcony offering a beautiful view. The pool area, surrounded by palm trees and plenty of loungers, is simply fantastic. The sports center is also impressive, offering a wide variety of classes and activities—all included. A final touch of elegance: the beautiful fresh flower arrangements placed throughout the hotel—on restaurant tables, in bars, bathrooms, and lounges—truly a refined and memorable detail. Overall, an amazing holiday—we would definitely come back!

We stayed at Hotel Fariones over Easter 2026. Very nice hotel and good location. The staff is very helpful.

An excellent hotel, An Oasis in the resort of Puerto del Carmen. We enjoyed a really relaxing week. Nothing is too much trouble for this staff.

Great hotel, staff excellent, friendly and very helpful. Only issue is slippy shower and wet sunbeds. Highly recommended

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful location. Staff are amazing, friendly and so efficient but not intrusive. Food is very good with plenty of choice.

Staff were friendly but not particularly pro-active and often lacked knowledge of drinks and what they were serving. The cooking of meats and fish fresh to order in the buffet restaurant caused slow service in the restaurant and congestion around that area. Other services were either very good or excellent and in an excellent location. Because of the issues mentioned I would rate it 4 star plus.
