Booking.com messed up my booking and charged me for 2 rooms instead of one. The staff didn’t offer to help saying I should sort it out with booking.com The hotel was on the dear side. I expect the issue to be resolved and a full refund given to me

Locatio was good; food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner.

Rooms are quite small; double beds too small in each room

Staff seemed to be in a bad mood. As two travellers, there was very little room for our luggage in the room. Some of the provisions in the bathroom ( whilst extensive) had been used previously. When the very loud people next door used water, it would make a gurgling noise in our bathroom sink. Not all the lights in the room worked.

Breakfast was good. A staff member Victoria was very helpful and kind

We had dinner and breakfast there and they took very careful care of my dietary restrictions. The service was very good and very friendly. We were extremely happy with our stay there!

Das Personal war mega freundlich und das Essen, besonders das Frühstück waren mega lecker. Sehr ruhige Lage, Inmitten der Natur.

A very polished and well-run hotel with great food and friendly and accommodating staff. The bar and restaurant were a most enjoyable place to spend the evening and the location in general was most relaxing and very easy on the eye. Breakfast was perfection as was the room. An excellent establishment back to which I hope to return.

We booked 2 rooms for the same price: one was as advertised but the other one was really small and in basement. Not good experience.

De gemoedelijke sfeer en de vriendelijke ontvangst van het hotel waren zeer aangenaam.

Colazione deprimente, abbiamo prenotato due camere, ce ne hanno dato una più bella l’altra più datata. Se si paga lo stesso prezzo per due camere ci si aspettano le stesse caratteristiche.

The picture booking had on there site was not the actual hotel so was dissapointing with the booking.the picture on site had it on water and actual hotel was not neer water

Gezellig hotelletje met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie locatie en dichtbij Ben Nevis.

Ontbijt kan pas vanaf 8u. Dus als je een vroege vogel bent en graag op tijd wil vertrekken dan kan dit een nadeel zijn, anderzijds verplicht het je om eens gas terug te nemen en te genieten van de omgeving

Location as close to where we wanted to go. The room didn’t appeal when we arrived but it was comfortable enough. Bathroom suite appeared to have been replaced which was nice. The dining room looked like it had been updated but we didn’t use it so can’t confirm.

Stairs and carpets were a bit tired. Not terribly suitable for someone with mobility issues

Just done the NC500 and this was most expensive and didn't include breakfast . Stopped in some fabulous locations cheaper with fantastic loch and sea views and breakfast or facilities to make own food . The TV aerial was patchy and kept going off. But was watching world cup so if asked for staff help would have missed it. The restaurant man was almost rude ...talking as walked away hurriedly . The receptionist was rushing from one job to another. Seemed to be only them 2 members of staff . This is not adequate .

Very little. Room and bathroom were clean.

Arrived having driven 3 hours. Asked to use the toilet to discover the cubicle in the main part of the hotel was 'Out of Order'. Member of staff took me to another remote part of the building to an unclean single toilet with no lock on the door. Queried to price in realation to the poor standard (£200 excluding breakfast). In fairness, the Manager drove in and negotiated the same price including breakfast.

Makkelijk te bereiken vanaf het station. Prima plek om te eten 's avonds.

Onze kamer lag aan de voorzijde, bij de ingang van het hotel, met uitzicht op het terras. Omdat de kamer wat laag lag, keken we direct tegen de benen van de mensen aan, die op het terras een drankje deden. En we konden gezellig meegenieten van hun gesprekken....

Sielankowa miejscowość u stóp gór. W miejscu gdzie nie ma sklepów restauracja oraz bar zapewniają komfort o wyżywienie. Przemiła i pomocna obsługa.

Cena - ale w Szkocji to standard że jest drogo, trzeba to zaakceptować.

Stayed here for one night one the way up to Ullapool. The hotel met all my needs and I had a good dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

The accommodation was perfectly adequate if a little functional.

De knowhow van het personeel over de kamers en omgeving was slecht alles was erg luidruchtig de kamers naast ons,de keuken onder ons.krakende vloeren, hard telefonerende mensen..alles was hoorbaar.weg was ook erg hoorbaar..verwarming aan,kon niet lager..de man die ons ontving was niet geïnteresseerd, personeel was niet met klanten bezig..plaatjes op internet zijn veel mooier dan de realiteit.

cheap bathroom reno, very small bed but comfy enough for one night. Found the price very steep for small room remote location

Hotel is located a few miles out of Fort William making it quieter which is what we were looking for and the hotel has good access to some nice walks with ample onsite parking. Food at the hotel is superb both evening meal and breakfast were excellent quality coupled up with excellent service from the hotel staff. Rooms we spacious with a full bathroom

Ruime kamer (met stoelen) en badkamer. Fijn dat je er ook kon dineren.

Alles was wat gedateerd.

Tv froze and staff too busy to look at it in a timely fashion, not their fault as short staffed. Main toilet in the bar/restaurant was freezing

Prima voor kortverblijf. Heerlijke bedden en nette badkamer.

De stroom viel uit tijdens ons verblijf. Zou wel eens vaker gebeuren begreep ik.

Wir hatten ein großzügiges Zimmer. Die Betten waren gut. Haben dort aber nicht gegessen, auch kein Frühstück. Waren für eine Nacht untergebracht.

It was very dated and they’d missed some attention to detail in the rooms - small things that are easy to fix like the bathroom light pull was just a bit of dirty string with no weight in the end. It was kinda musty smelling through the hotel so it needs a bit of a refurb for the prices they charge. However the location was great and the staff were pleasant

De kamers waren voor Schotse begrippen goed. Het ontbijt was ook goed. Het personeel in de ochtend was wel een beetje stressvol maar dat namen we op de koop toe.

La taille de la chambre et la salle de bain.

Le diner au restaurant. Les plats n'avaient rien à voir avec les photos de booking. Le service laissait à désirer (ma boisson est arrivé alors que j'avais quasi fini mon plat) et la qualité des plats était moyenne.

Trotz wirkliche Verspätung bei der Anreise wurde uns kein Druck gemacht und sollten sicher Anreisen. Trotz dessen, dass beim Frühstück viel los war, wurde auf wünsche eingegangen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit im Roomservice und eine wunderbare heiße Badewanne.

Cosy atmosphere. Beautiful accommodation with additional items unexpectedly included. Good food both dinner and breakfast. All round an excellent experience.

When we arrive to check-in, the man seemed a little pre-occupied with some Chinese customers, stressed out. We weren't in a rush so it didn't bother us too much, but it was noticeable.

Food was good, service was of a good standard. It was generally clean and tidy. Beds where comfortable.

The property maintenance was not up to scratch. Bathroom window handle missing, bathroom door would not shut or lock. The shower cubical was not easy for older or less mobile people especially as the doors would not stay open to allow entry or exit. The toiletries were only just enough for one person not 2, only 1 small towel between 2 of us.
