Owners are the nicest people you can possibly meet!!! Beds were extremely comfortable, so even there was some street noise at night, we could sleep like logs. Right on arrival we got some recommendations for food, drink and activities so we can only recommed it for anyone!! :)

Location was good owners were extremely helpful and gave us lots of information on local amenities, restaurants and beaches in general they couldn't have been more helpful. (Also borrowing us some buckets and spades for the beach which the kids loved) Rooms were very spacious with private toilet and shower with the option of an additional bath room, which was shared. Tea and coffee was topped up each day when the room was tidied. It was a pleasure to stay there and would recommend to anyone looking for a good room at a good rate

Hosts were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The location is great, 14 minute walk to the town centre or 10 minute walk to the beach. Facilities and room are brilliant too, the beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

This is our second stay at Atlantis and won't be the last, it's clean, comfortable, amazing value for money, the staff cannot do enough to help, so friendly and kind. The location is fantastic, it's also quiet and really I cannot say enough nice things about the property.

My only suggestion is that it would be lovely to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cool!

Spacious room for the price. Quiet at night (if your windows face the back garden at least). Short walk from Torre Abbey Sands. Accommodating hosts.

Front door requires two hands to unlock - tricky when you're bringing shopping back. No A/C in the room, which isn't essential (unless the area is under a red extreme weather warning).

Steph was an amazing host, she was an encyclopedia of local knowledge so we all knew where we should be. Breakfast was lovely, the room was spacious, spotless and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Location spot on for both the beach and town, even taxis available over the road. Really enjoyable, relaxing stay.

Only two tiny things, really needed a fan in the room (maybe l should've asked) and the bathroom was very compact and could've benefited from a new shower tray but it was a family room and l get it when you have children bringing in half the beach a new bathroom doesn't look new for long! That being said l had a wonderful stay and would consider rebooking.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Torquay und haben viel gesehen. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr frendlich und haben uns viele Tipps mitgegeben und uns auch von aktuellen Events in der Stadt berichtet, die einen Besuch wert sind. Das Haus hatte seinen eigenen Charm und das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich. Der ÖPNV in der Umgebung ist auch super und wir konnten mit dem Bus an den Rand des Dartmoor Nationalpark fahren und Wandern gehen.

Wendy and Simon were extremely welcoming, friendly and gave us lots of useful information on the area. Beautifully decorated and beds very comfy.

The toilet was a bit loud when you flushed it, the room could have done with a small desk fan as it was very warm and not really their fault but was slightly noisy outside from drunks.

I booked my mum in here for a family event. She said it was a lovely stay and the owners were so friendly. The room was spot on but the service she received is what sold it for her! She wants to stay here again in the future

Steph the host was very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was comfy and clean. It is in a good location with convenience shops and food places nearby. It is also a short walk from town and the seafront. It was the second time we have stayed at Atlantis and it's a nice place for a few days stay.

The owners were extremely accommodating even prepared our rooms early as we had an early performance at the theatre.

The water pressure was extremely low in the hot water tap and shower in our other room no 7.

Very warm welcome and great service from Steph and her husband. Great communication even before arrival date as Steph rang to arrange what we wanted for breakfast. The beds were actually very comfortable, better than expected for a typical B&B. Whole experience was great and highly recommended it.

Can’t really say there was anything we didn’t like; for the price it was top notch.

Everything was great for what we needed in terms of comfort and facilities. Quite conscious of the rooms not being very sound proof as we could hear other guests talking in other rooms, not a major problem though!

I stayed at Hotel Atlantis for 4 nights,i had a really nice stay there.Mine hosts Steph and Simon were simply the best,they are originally from the same part of the UK as me,West Midlands,so it was WIN WIN as far as i was concerned!Steph was very charming and friendly,prepared great breakfasts,adhering to my 'dietry needs',which i appreciated.So,for me everything is good about Atlantis,great hostelry in a convenient location,close to the harbour,beach and[especially] the local railway station,a pity about the cancellations,but that of course is a separate issue.Top marks for Steph and Simon,boing,boing!

All good,i had the option of a room change when i checked in,i accepted this,less stairs to climb for me,lol!Top marks all round,everything good.....great in fact!

The room was spacious and clean, Simon and Stephanie the owners were brilliant and accommodating we loved every second of our stay and will come again.

We had a lovely, big bed and a corner bath with was nice. Staff are friendly.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

It was a different room and it was a different bathroom. It was not a bathroom. Basically, because of its small area, they put the hand basin inside the room. This bathroom was really very bad. I was not comfortable in that hotel. It is not worth the money. This is a fact that it deserves 10 pounds per night, not 50 pounds.

I loved how they set up beds very unique way of making them look really beautiful. The beds were lovely And clean and warm and a great touch to put extra scatter cushions on the bed as well. The whole room had everything you could need, from a beautiful vanity cabinet with plenty of room for your makeup, hair curlers if needed, they provide a hair dryer which is very useful. And a gorgeous mirror and comfy chair to sit on whilst putting on your makeup. It had a wardrobe a single bed as well as i was coming with 1 other. But amazing to be given a double bed and a single. Then a chest of drawers. With a kettle, cups and tea and coffee and milk and sugar, glasses if needed. Then a flat screen television on the wall with all the channels you need. Then a private bathroom which was gorgeously tiled everywhere, a really modern spotless bathroom which had a nice big shower, toilet and sink. With a nice big mirror as well. And in the main room a nice long mirror to see how you look if you are dressing up for an occasion. It’s definitely the only B&B I will keep going back to when I go to Torquay. It’s breakfast made by one of the lovely owners Steph was perfect and huge enough to fill you up all day! Very delicious and rounded off a lovely stay. I would give 10/10 if i could. Thank you so much for a wonderful night. No complaints.

There is nothing I can say that is negative about the property. Nothing I can think of that needs to change. I loved everything about it.

Hotel bar (the one situated in the lounge!) wasn't in operation (but there is a bar opposite) Patched up room, where wall repairs had been undertaken and the patch painted in a different colour Uncomfortable beds 7 flights of stairs to reach room (2 per floor and the first set of steps to ascend to the property, definitely not a viable option for mobility restricted guests) Plug didn't fit sink No refridgerator (not a big deal for short stays)

Very welcoming hosts. Comfortable room. Good bed. Tea and coffee replenished daily. Not trendy or the latest design and decor but good basic value for money.

Not dislikes as such, but a few suggestions to improve facilities might be extra coat hooks on door or in bathroom and somewhere to hang larger towels to dry (we stayed 4 nights).

Everything, it was a lovely hotel brilliant value for money. Lady who checked us in was very informative and helpful. Would stay again. Staff happy to make sure you have everything you need.

The room was very clean and tidy. The only issue was that my wife is a very light sleeper and the beds did rumble when any movement was made. The host made us very welcome, We didn't have breakfast. We arrived at 5pm on Saturday and were able to park free. If visiting Torquay you can leave it there through Sunday.

The room in a very nice elegant house walking distance from the sea and the center. Beautiful area and definitely worth a visit. The host was exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was located on the top floor (4th) and the hosts kindly helped me with the luggage. I was able to leave the luggage prior to the check in hour. Kettle and TV in the room. Clean and nice. Overall perfect.

Absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but the road is very loud if you're on the front of the building. It was hot as we had to shut the window but there was a fan in the room also.

It was close to where we needed to go (20 minute walk to the Foundry and £7 taxi ride if you didn’t fancy walking) which was perfect. There was street parking nearby (as there’s no parking at the hotel) which was easy to find. The host was absolutely lovely, she was so friendly and gave us all the information we needed. The room was topped up with tea and coffee every time we came back. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy! On the 3rd night unfortunately someone put the latch down which we struggled to get in, we had to phone her to get access but she was so quick there no hassle.
