Reviewed Aug 23, 2026City Lodge is always a pleasure to stay at since you know exactly what to expect across the brand, the processes at the different locations are the same, the staff are of a good standard and the restaurant / bar - also serving still late at night and although I did not join for breakfast this time, it is a breakfast that has never disappointed. Location was perfect - walking distance from the Boardwalk Mall / Casino / Hotel - where we had a show.
After I requested a floor level room at the time of my booking request on Booking.com, I received a room on the first floor at the very back of the hotel. The afternoon when I checked in, the shower and taps in my bathroom had no water pressure. At least the pressure was back the evening.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026Réactivité de l'équipe pour le changement de chambre car un problème dans l'affectation initiale. Chambre 124 plus adaptée car donnait sur cour intérieure. La proximité avec des spots connus. Le restaurant : bonne prestation même si les pâtes bolognaises un peu salées (information non remontées auprès du personnel, car c'était le plat de ma fille et elle n'a pas osé nous l'indiquer et de notre côté on était repus de notre repas). Le fait de disposer d'une baignoire et d'une douche, ce qui a pu permettre une prise de bain en même temps pour mère et fille.
A niveau de la chambre, cela aurait été un plus un petit frigo. Ne concerne pas le personnel - respect des autres autres voyageurs - chambre 125 (qui devait nous être attribuée initialement) avait des voyageurs fumeurs et on pouvait sentir la cigarette notamment dans le couloir alors que l'intérieur est non fumeur.

We are a business and I do alot of bookings from bookings.com but I stuggle alot to get ou invoice with ou comapny details on. Why do I need to put in my Vat number when I do the booking, If I can not receive a Tax invoice?

Ohhh Lord terrible and uncomfortable and extremely had, and they only offered the child a blanket for that sofa bed, no clean sheets of duvet and those blankets are harsh and made the room crowded, the linen was not changed they just made the bed up.
The size of the room and the sofa bed is a terrible idea

As a smoker and insomniac, there should be a place where people can smoke. They lock the doors to the pool/smoking area at 11pm. I had to go stand outside in front of the hotel to have a smoke. This feels a bit tacky and it's not nice to do.

Booking was not what I paid for. Am not sure who's fault it was.. I paid for a twin room with 2 double beds for 2 adults and one child. I was forced to pay for another room. The room they showed me had 1 double bed or 2 single beds. During this holiday I booked 4 other hotels at different locations, all those were fine.
