I had a very disappointing experience during my stay and, unfortunately, regret spending my money at this property. On my first day, I requested that the cleaning lady come to my room after 1:00 p.m., as I would be spending my mornings indoors. She only came on one occasion and never returned again for the remainder of my stay. As a result, I repeatedly came back to an unclean and untidy room, which was extremely disappointing. The second major issue was the water. When I tried to take a shower after arriving, the water was a concerning yellow/urine-like colour. I immediately raised the issue and requested assistance, but I was simply told that it was a maintenance problem and that nothing could be done. This was completely unacceptable, particularly from a hygiene and basic comfort perspective. They did provide three small bottles of drinking water initially, but there was no daily provision of drinking water in the room throughout my stay. In my view, this is a basic necessity that should have been consistently provided. Overall, the service and basic standards fell far below what I expected. The combination of poor housekeeping, the unacceptable water quality, and lack of basic amenities made my stay extremely unpleasant. I would not recommend this property based on my experience, and I sincerely regret choosing to spend my money there.

The breakfast was good but not as good as our last visit. We were looking forward to the chicken and beef sausages which made Garden Court Kings Beach different from other breakfasts else where but they were not there. I am interested to know why they were removed. I always told my friends and colleagues about them.

On the 14th we arrived around 14:00 and we had to wait about 30 minutes for our room to be ready. My wife could not breath in that room because of cigarret smoke. Fortunately the staff provided us with some steamer. The 15th was fine as we were in Room 509.

The check in was fast and the accommodation was up to standard with cleanliness.

The aircon was not working, so we had to leave the windows open and there was a lot of noise throughout the night.

The breakfast was a huge spread, it was however predictable as the same items were served daily. However the overall stay was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The signal for the tv was extremely poor and my children could not enjoy it at night with no children channels as well. The bathroom of our hotel room was a bit outdated and room felt a bit congested so we constantly left windows open. I did not mention it to the staff as most of our stay we only spend the late afternoon and evening in our hotel room.

There was no porter at check in! Very disgusted and disappointed when ordering breakfast and specifically asked for chicken in the omelet and was reassured it was halal just to find bacon in our omelet.

There was no drinking water bottles in the room. Vending machine was problematic. Place at least 1x 500ml bottle in every room for emergency purposes.

Although I booked for 4 people, equipment in the room catered for 2 people, starting from coffees. Only 1 used toilet paper for 2 days, 1 small shower gel each day, 1 small bar hand soap for 2 days, 2 towels each day. When I complained I was told that I should call reception to request any. This for me is not acceptable as they knew how many people were booked and should provide as such even if it's upon check in I've never experienced this for as long as I have been booking at this hotel. Now I feel they have dropped the standard somehow

The room was so clean and the bathroom, we also enjoyed to ocean view.

I didn’t like their tv quality, it’s so back dated we need smart tv’s and also the breakfast wasn’t very nice especially the lamb livers and the kidneys we didn’t enjoy breakfast.

The rooms were very neat and spacious. That they had an outsourced restaurant for dinner time 🧡.

Not that I did not like but overhead lights would be a plus. I could not use the phine even though it was plugged but this is something I believe was an oversight from the establishment. Also the hotel could look at the bathroom set up. I was not comfortable with having to lift my legs( bath and shower) to have a shower. Maybe separate these for easy access to those who have old legs 😊😊

The 1st morning of the 15th we went down stairs to eat & we took washed our faces & teeth & still had our pyjamas on as I was very tired & felt fatigue so I needed to eat & rest for the day, to my disappointment we were confronted by a tall African male who told us that pyjamas was not allowed & we went back to the room & changed, when we arrived back to eat there was a very rude african women who told us that it's a standard rule with no kindness towards us & as if we were not embarrassed enough she told us in front of the other guests that we didn't include the breakfast & I had to tell them that I booked through booking. Com & we were shown the table mind you after all this discomfort we sat down & ate as we are busy eating around 09h52 the gentleman cam straight to us & told us that we had only 4 minutes before the end so we should be finished by then I was disrespected & I went to report at the reception that we were told that we didn't pay for the breakfast & that woman interjected when I was letting the gentleman know & to request him to please sort it out as I was feeling very unhappy but yes ofcos they didn't know who I was & maybe she thought I am a nobody so yes the 2 ladies who welcomed us with love & warmth made me to just enjoy my stay & they are your best & professional people who will always attract us back. When I checkout they were both working same morning & for that they will blessed.

It was not my 1st stay there but then maybe rules are changed always but yes, I couldn't ask for anything more just the two members I mentioned & yes I will be there frequently.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the staff,made us feel right at home. Our room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. I highly recommend the complimentary breakfast. We can't wait to return!

I know it’s not the place to blame,but you must do a thoroughly checking with People who are smoking inside the rooms,we had someone smoking there and it was very awkward ,though we didn’t know where it was coming from which room but it was unbearable…don’t forget to provide enough towels especially if you know that it’s more than one people coming ..otherwise All the Garden court are beautiful 🫡❤️.

I didn't like that I had to phone the house keeping services to come clean our room twice. We left in the morning for breakfast, then went to the Mall and when we returned in the afternoon our room was still in a mess and had not been cleaned at all. It took 2 calls for the room to get cleaned. I was not impressed.

The loud music noise from surrounding businesses kept me awake the entire night! This is mot the first time I’m experiencing such dissatisfaction as my family and I had the same disastrous experience during our last stay at Garden court!

We booked this hotel stay before checking reviews, when we did check it we were very concerned because it wasn't great but I am pleased to say the staff were friendly and welcoming during our entire stay. The hotel and our room was clean, fresh and so comfortable we didn't want to leave! The breakfast was amazing, and again all the staff and chefs were super friendly, we were really spoilt. Even the internet was great, no buffering. Would love to come back next year.

We deden de Ironman en deze locatie is perfect. Fietsenzaak Wayne onder het hotel is echt een meerwaarde en loopafstand naar de wedstrijdlocatie was prima. Ontbijt was goed en erg uitgebreid. Wel zelf je chocopasta meenemen.

Misschien de herrie in het weekend van het uitgaansgebied al zou dit geen reden zijn om het hotel niet opnieuw te boeken.

The excellent location and view on the ocean.

The ventilation system is very noisy in the room even with off aircon. The service at the restaurant is extremlyslow and you wait long for apparently no reason even when it's empty The lifts are only two and sometimes you need to sit and wait 20 minutes to get the next one free.

Breakfast was good, limited but ok.
