Stayed in an upper quiet room with shade and a view. It’s not a fancy place, but we were comfortable and well looked after. The main attendant came up to our room to help us with a problem, that didn’t exist. After he showed us what to do. He offered to turn out extra lights for us later. He was great.

The location was perfect, it is a 3 min walk to the beach. We rented the cottage for 4 adults (1 couple and 2 singles) and it was perfect, we all had our own room and were able to walk to the beach whenever we pleased. The space was clean and the front desk staff was also very friendly!

They had a room that accepts pets. Fridge, microwave, Internet included. Has a pool. Parking in front.

Beds were comfortable. Good location near the lake.

Floor was dirty. Shower was not adjustable (directly overhead) and no shower cap provided. Stairs to upper floor were steep and the tread was very narrow (actually resulted in a fall).

The young man who looked after us seemed happy to do it. He was responsive to our needs.

It's an old building so grouting in bathroom looked unclean but it is likely not easy to clean.

It was close proximity to downtown. Clean and had a pool. Rooms were quiet. Ample parking, easy access.

Lakeview Inn & Suites name is deceiving as it is a motel style; but definitely a grade above a motel.

Where do I start. The air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, which made sleeping uncomfortable due to the heat. Exposed electrical wires under the sink. When booking the unit was lead to believe it was a kitchenette unit but upon arrival it only had a microwave, fridge was not very good either as it did not chill things. Simply put I would not go back to this place or recommend it to even my worst enemy.

Safer room without the exposed electrical under sink vanity. Stairs to the second floor lean forward and ate are a danger to walk on.

Poor location of TV. No spoon or scoop to measure coffee for the coffee maker.

Fleas and bed bugs! Stay away if you have a choice or put up with: Stained bed linens, looked washed but sill unclean, dirty blankets and covers harbouring fleas from previous pets that stayed there, moldy shower curtain, dirty pots, dirty fridge. Shower boiler located in the bedroom! An outside door opening to the side of the bed into the bedroom, door can be unlocked from outside, needless to say we felt unsafe at night! Thin walls and floors we could hear neightbours showering or talking in the night. We only stayed for few nights and realized the bug bites on our boddies as we left. Otherwise we would have cancelled. We will never comeback!

Our room was great. Bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculate. I would definitely stay here again.

We knew of this place based on a stay last year. It's an easy 20 minute walk to groceries and dining options, and there's a nice public beach with a swimming area just a two minute walk. The staff are very friendly and bbq's are provided.

Nothing really

The room is extremely dirty: old child shoe under sofa, a lot of dust with dead insects around the beds and everywhere in the corners, batroom is old and dirty, sticky floor, very noisy fridge. Staff reject room checking after check-out to see if any problems after our dogs and then they used scam tactics to claim that dog left poop in hidden location despite the fact that I twice checked everything with flashlight myself with dogs were sitting in the car and declared the same to staff!!! Be aware of this scam tactics as it look like it is systematic approcach to naive pollite and tolerant canadians to drain their wallet.

The shower was difficult for a handicapped person.

Beds were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the spacious living room and outdoor patio and barbecue. We were a party of five sharing the three bedroom cottage so it was convenient for us.

I asked for a receipt and was told they could not give me one because I booked through booking.com. I've always received a receipt before, when booking through booking.com. The doors, windows, walls and bathtub were not clean. Paint was chipping from walls. The air conditioner poured water inside and the filter was compacted with dirt. Only one of the three bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning.

It was fine for what it was, basic and cheap, no frills.

Pros (major boons): - Quiet - Comfortable beds - Rooms looked freshly renovated - Responsive service - Not too far from downtown - Good value for smaller budgets Cons (minor quibbles): - Limited office hours - Needs a simpler coffeemaker (couldn’t get it to work as the digital display was inoperative) - Thermostat located nowhere near the (full blast) entrance floor heater (look for the thermostat next to the refrigerator)

Absolutely a great decission to stay at the Osoyoos Lakeview Inn and Suites. I chose to come here because of the rating which was spot on. This is a smaller hotel, older but right across the street from the city lake. The kitchen is small but everything we needed for a few days. The staff was so friendly, our room was spotless and the pool was an added bonus. Usually Ive found if the nightly rate is low, with others so high all around us, Id be cautious but believe me when I say...it was wonderful to find this gem with a very affordable price.

For us it was just a one night crash pad, but we had no complaints.

This was a very nice hotel. We had the two bedroom unit with a kitchen. It was very spacious. Too bad we were only staying for one night. The pool looked nice. The bed was okay. A little firmer than I normally like, but I slept fine. Staff was friendly.

Loved great time to hit the pool it was refreshing and our stay was lovely.

This is an excellent, budget friendly little hotel. Older but clean and in a great location. When enjoying pool side, there is a spectacular view of the eastern mountains, which are especially beautiful in the evenings during sun set. The hotel is also off the main strip, making it less busy and more peaceful, but at the same time, still close enough to walk to town to do some shopping or poking around. If you prefer the beach, there is a nice public area for swimming just across the street.
