The woman who was working at the check in desk in the late evening the night of my stay was incredibly kind. I purchased some items from the shop and she anticipated my needs and brought me some other needed items I had not thought to ask about.
The room was comfy and clean and the building was beautiful. I loved the bathroom in our room. Just think the room was kind of basic.
Hôtel idéalement situé au cœur de Denver .très bel établissement dans une ancienne banque à l’architecture imposante .personnel professionel et sympathique .De belles chambres spatieuses.
Belle architecture
Really great stay & beautiful hotel! Micheal and all the guys at the valet were so sweet!!
Great hotel! Really cool historical elements. Staff was fantastic and all very friendly. Michael G was our favorite though!!
Many Good choices to make
1- Fridge unplugged or not working. Had to call d 2- Had to request a microwave (depending on availability)! 3- Bathroom and bed sheets not so cz
1- More Care when getting a room ready for a guest. 2- U guys charge an arm and a leg per night, have a decent fridge (no a cooler) and microwave in each room. Holiday Inn Express does that and their charges about 60% of Renaissance charges! 3- How about lowering your fees for Valet or have a cheaper self park! It is funny that I parked in the self park garage next to Renaissance for 1/3 of Renaissance Valet!
Hotel was absolutely stunning. Clean, and modern rooms. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced for date nite. Michael G in Valet was Friendly and Funny and efficient Definitely coming back!
Room was great Valet staff and Michael G were fantastic as well
The hotel is very well located, walking distance to 16th st mall & The Denver Performing Arts. The rooms are spacious & comfortable! There’s a public parking garage next door in case you don’t want to pay $67 a night for valet parking.

Mike and crew were top notch in the velet department.
Ruben and Michael G are fantastic. First touch points for my experience. They always have a smile on their face. They are super helpful very kind and help me navigate around a complex city.
We stayed at the Renaissance for a concert at Mile High. The stay was good but the valet service was fantastic! Getting in and out daily to see Rocky Mountain National Park, etc was a breeze. Michael G the valet guy really made the whole stay. He's very friendly, efficient, and even had a couple jokes too! 10 out of 10 would recommend this hotel just from the valet experience.
Mike S and Mike G define epitome of what great service should be for valet service. Made me feel like VIP in celebrating my 60th birthday. Both authentically friendly and professional, make me feel like I’ve known them my whole life. They are an accurate representation of the ethos of this property when you first meet them on arrival.
Mike and James have been incredibly helpful. They are always timely, friendly, clean and really to help in anyway possible: This is my 2nd year working with them and I wouldn’t want to work with any one else. They are the best. Good morning good morning
James is the greatest!
Loved it all.
Very clean and nice! The valet manager Mike was so personal. Knew all the people coming and going. Went above and beyond for us!

Michael and the valet team was awesome! Very friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Amazing staff, very pleasant lounge area, excellent location
Michael in valet was so kind! Very friendly and helpful!
The hotel stay was wonderful. All the staff were very welcoming, especially Tyler at the front desk and Michael the valet. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and welcome.
Lovely hotel in a restored historic bank. All the expected amenities and a great LODO location near Union Station.
James and Mike , part of your parking team were absolutely the warmest and most friendly staff. They made our stay feel like home.
Friendly and accommodating staff who facilitated early check-in. The room was spacious.
The room was very noisy, with persistent mechanical noise throughout the night that significantly disrupted sleep. The linens had a faint tobacco odor, which was unpleasant. In-room coffee was low quality, and overall the experience felt more like a motel than a high-end hotel.
While I did not stay there, I was there for food & drink & a Friday night concert in the lobby. Unbelievable night, good times, good staff & Unbelievable old, historic hotel & lobby. Lots, Lots of History!
The room was all very clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby was a dream, the artwork is fantastic and it was the reason that compelled me to chose the hotel. The restaurant and bar were great, fabulous drinks by Kayla, who is a master mixer of dream cocktails and syrups, and a delicious lobster bisque. The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. I was impressed by their dedication to make my stay a wonderful experience. At the reception, Michaela Munoz was warm and kind, she made me feel at home. Tyler Watson gave me great advise about how to get around town and places to go, he really should be a Navigator but I was lucky he was at the reception during my stay. I would recommend the hotel simply because the staff is fabulous, they made me feel very welcome and I highly recommend them.
The parking was horrible never go here. Many issues, I had to wait for a long time, worse experience ever.
Convenient to Union Station and the train to the airport. Very comfortable and fabulous lobby and interior. Thanks for a great stay!
Beautiful inside and so cozy! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing! Great location
The location is perfect to go to the Denver Performing Arts and many restaurants. The room is very comfortable. There’s a covered parking garage right next door to the hotel, overall a great place to stay for a couple of nights.

The perfect example of the complete demise of the Marriott brand. The entire hotel smells like sewer gas. The TV's go in and out. Management was not aware that the TV's were pixelated. Yet the lobby TV's right in front of him were. Maintenance just came to reset my TV. See attached. Read the bad reviews. They are accurate.
The building is absolutely gorgeous! They have so much history about how it used to be a bank and they even have old vaults set up as meeting rooms. The lobby is breathtaking and they have the original murals on the walls. My boyfriend and I went for our 1 year anniversary and the staff were so nice and gave us free drinks and free access to the lounge. I was able to add late check out for only $50 extra and it was definitely worth it. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Denver. It’s right next to downtown and it’s so easy to get around and there’s tons to do within walking distance of the hotel!
The property was unique. It was an old bank. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean..
To accommodate an early check in they gave us a room with a view of the boilers. It was the only room with that view. However, the staff did let me know this at the time.
very good location, it used to be a bank. the bed is very comfortable

We often stay at this hotel when we have appointments in Denver. Most of the staff are extremely nice, especially the valets! We also really like the lobby bar, well we did before last night after the Broncos/Bills game. We were served by a bartender named Kristina. We asked her for a shot, and she relied “this is a nice bar, we don’t have flavored liquor here”. Mind you, we just had the same liquor at the Ritz in New Orleans (which is a much nicer bar) a few weeks early. She could have simply said that they didn’t have the liquor and offered something else. When we were leaving I asked if I could give her some feedback. She replied, “I’m very busy”. I gave her the feedback anyway. Telling her that I was very insulted and that she shouldn’t treat her customers that way. Especially, repeat customers. We actually stayed at the hotel two separate times this past week. She then sarcastically asked if she could do anything to make it better and that it was a joke. She walked away from me before the conversation was over. I’m not telling anyone to stay away from this hotel, they have some great employees, just not Kristina! We won’t ever go back to the bar again.
Everything other than the remarks below
My wife was not a fan of the bed. Too soft. Expensive car storage.
The hotel is in a perfect location walking distance to the Denver Performing Arts, 16th st, Denver Art Museum and many restaurants. There’s a parking garage next door to the hotel so you don’t have to valet your car. The rooms are comfortable.

The experience from beginning to end was absolutely fantastic! Lovely establishment with an even lovelier crew. They welcomed us at 7:00AM the day of with very little notice. The staff gave us great recommendations to see downtown Denver. Would definitely stay here again if back in Denver!
The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
? I can't think of anything.
We spent Thanksgiving week at this hotel. I have to say it was an absolutely fabulous experience. We were treated in a first class manner from the moment we arrived. The entire staff was fantastic. I won't be able to mention everyone but Mike and Marquise at the valet station were particularly helpful. The two bartenders we saw the most at the lobby bar, Trey and Maggie were particularly engaging. We stayed in a suite, the value was outstanding and the room was very comfortable. I could not recommend the hotel any higher.
We have nothing but praise for this outstanding hotel. In particular, we had a "going on beyond the call of duty" experience. Alyna Heard offered her skilled assistance regarding a problem I had with printing an important document. She was able to spend about 15 minutes diving into my issue and came up with just the right solution! Clearly this was beyond what was expected, she help with cheerfulness and technical acumen. Thanks to her, our stay was made even more remarkable!
The parking attendants were outstanding and made our visit exceptional. Mike and Reuben represented the Renaissance and Marriott
Great location, excellent service, free water in the room, comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, and a coffee shop inside.
I really liked this hotel good place to grab a drink or meet a friend. Walkable to downtown
Mike G and the rest of the valet staff were great! Also Mike the concierge gave us lots of awesome recommendations for our stay!

All aspects of stay met our expectations
It was a fantastic hotel, beautiful inside and out, great staff and great downtown location.
Prices a bit high for drinks and small items in the “grocery” - but probably what you’d see at other hotels like this.
i stayed here expecting a positive experience. it was like being in the bates motel. everything was dark and dank. dirty is being polite. elevators had fingerprints everywhere . bathrooms were dirty and there was mold in the showers. they did not clean everyday and the staff was rude beyond words.. ask for a clean towel you say and they ignore you and upcharge you for dirty towels. its a gimmick and a scam and after spending thousands i will be asking Mariott Corporate for a signficant refund to at least cover my doctors bills from the moldy bathrooms.
Run run away from this pig sty Along with the rude female bartender and the horrible cleaning people who do a crappy job The rugs were dirty as well as the mildew bathroom and my headsets disappeared When I got back to my room I would stay in the bates motel instead
From the moment we walked in the front door of this dark, dank hotel we were greeted by very unfriendly staff. The elevator was dirty, and the rug in the hallway was stained It looks like the rooms have not been updated in years. The bathroom had mold in the shower. we stayed four days and one of the days they never cleaned our room never said anything we called for towels but we did not get any,so We had to use the same old, dirty towels.we checked out the following day and when we got to the airport And reviewed our bill they had added a charge of $250 because the dirty towels were dirty? I have traveled all over the world and I have never been treated with so much disrespect by the staff. My advice is run from this place. They’re rude. It’s dark and it’s dirty.
Could use some updates but overall property was clean with great customer service.
Great stay, check in to check out!
Great hotel. Quiet, functional, comfortable room. And... the front desk staff, Alyna and Michaela, are amazing. I had an Amazon package delivered to the hotel, but unfortunately the shipment was delayed and arrived after I checked out. Alyna and Michaela were more helpful than anyone has a right to expect in helping me get my stuff. Thank you both!
Staff was amazing.
Excellent location, clean and simple
It’s not major but it would be nice if staff offered to help with bags. This seems to be a common problem across the US just now though. Overall it’s a good hotel though.
I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM and was informed that due to overbooking, I would need to be relocated to another property. Despite seeing several guests check in after me, I was told I had been "randomly selected" earlier in the day to be moved - yet I received no prior communication from the hotel (no email or phone call) notifying me of this change. I spent nearly an hour at the front desk close to midnight trying to understand next steps. I was handed a printed note with the address of the alternate hotel but was not proactively offered any assistance with transportation. Only after I asked was a security guard made available to escort me - an essential courtesy given the late hour and downtown location. Additionally, I was not offered any compensation or solutions related to the inconvenience until I explicitly inquired. The points I was eventually granted were minimal and does not reflect the level of disruption (e.g. at least 1-2 nights of stay). The following day, I was instructed to return to the Renaissance instead of staying at the alternate hotel for both nights. When I asked to avoid the back-and-forth, the staff said I would need to make arrangements directly with the alternate hotel, who then explained it would have been possible had the Renaissance coordinated or transferred the reservation. Overall, this experience was disappointing, especially given that I’ve since learned this hotel is known for frequent overbooking. I would strongly caution future travelers to be aware of this risk when booking.
Mike & Ruben Renaissance by Marriott Denver Valet were simply “Outstanding!” Great customer Service. Professional & friendly.
It is a normal business style hotel. Friendly staff. If you drive, expect to pay for parking, and the valet staff are possibly the friendliest I've ever seen. They will take care of you and your car.
The restaurant food was mediocre. The wine prices were outrageous for the brands. And the crème brûlée was the worst i e ever experienced. The chef needs to be taught how to make it. I was told by the server that this is the way the chef likes to make it and then mentioned that many people don't like it. She waived the charge.
Ruben and Michael were wonderful every time we came and went! Very helpful and went above and beyond yo make this part of our stay memorable
The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. An additional bonus is the restaurant, it was actually the best food we had while in Denver! Hats off to the new Chef!
Ruben’s valet service was outstanding, thank you very much! He sorted us out quickly and gave us excellent advice on how to get to the airport.
Everyone was super friendly. Great location in downtown Denver. Unique hotel layout large hotel with Botique feel. Special callout for Eric in Valet. Service was above and beyond and was super helpful giving recommendations of where to go and where to eat.
