Really helpful staff. Comfortable room and very quiet despite being in the busy old town. Would recommend!

The location was great and I was worried about the noise but I never heard a peep from the road.

This hotel has had a some revamping but there was a smell in my room that I could never locate.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a really good stay. Room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is close to everything and despite being next to the main road it was very sound proof and you could not hear any traffic noise from the room which was great. Staff very friendly and helpful would definitely stay again.

The stay was very nice, the staff (especially Thomas) was super kind and helpful. It’s located near the Old Quarter of Hanoi, so it’s very easy to walk around. The room was clean and spacious, also very comfortable. Would definitely come back here!

Amazing experience! We had a wonderful stay at Old Quarter Charm Hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. The service was excellent from beginning to end, and they really made us feel at home. We also booked our cruise to Lan Ha Bay through the hotel, and everything was perfectly organized. The cruise was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking scenery, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. A huge thank you to the entire team for their kindness, professionalism, and great recommendations. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I love the host, he was so nice to us and he recommended us so much good areas to go to and very accommodating.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The rooms were airy and spacious. 2 swimming pools. Lovely breakfast areas. The highlight was the afternoon tea in the garden.

Old Quarter Charm is located in the heart of the Old Quarter. Perfect for first timers to Hanoi and more especially if you'd like to experience life among the locals. Local coffee shops, food and just the atmosphere was amazing.

One of the rooms were a tad smaller than expected. Theres no breakfast at the hotel and no room service.

Très charmant hôtel situé dans la vieille ville de Hanoï, dans un quartier très calme et agréable. J’ai séjourné deux fois dans cet hôtel. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et serviable. J’ai même pu laisser toutes mes affaires à l’hôtel pendant mon voyage à Sa Pa. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent.

Stanza molto carina, accogliente, pulita, luminosa e in un’ottima posizione. Bollitore in camera, con caffè e tè (molto apprezzato), sapone e pulizia giornaliera. Upgrade stanza (a pagamento) con doppia finestra. Possibilità di comprare la sim locale “vittel” (è comodo sì ma più caro rispetto ad altre compagnie). Consigliato:)

Si sente il rumore esterno di macchine e clacson. La stanza un po’ piccola, nonostante non manchi nulla. L’host ci ha proposto un upgrade perché la stanza che avevamo prenotato aveva la finestra che dava sul corridoio (questo non è molto chiaro su Booking). Servizio lavanderia 40k al kg di cui non abbiamo usufruito, c’è una lavanderia self-service a due passi.

Uns hat alles an der Unterkunft gefallen, eine Top Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, alles war sauber und es war sehr viel Platz im Zimmer, der Hotelbesitzer war der allernetteste und sehr hilfsbereit wir haben viel mit ihm geredet. Wir würden immerwieder kommen!!!!!

The location is in the heart of Hanoi and easy to travel around. The staff is so friendly and help with everything and can do the laundry for small fee as well. Best place for the price and the people who want to travel budget friendly and don’t wanna stay in hostels, this is the best option in Hanoi

We were disappointed with the small size of the room the facilities were very basic but we were only staying one night. When checking out in the morning the reception worker was asleep in the lobby

Fijne locatie middenin Old Quarter, vriendelijk personeel. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een betere kamer. Het was schoon.

De badkamer was ruim, maar had een schuin plafond en daardoor een rare indeling waardoor wij lange Nederlands niet rechtop voor de spiegel konden staan.

The staff at the hotel was amazing! So friendly and great to talk to. They made us feel so welcome in Vietnam! Probably our favorite part of the experience. If we ever needed anything they were there immediately to help us as well. The room's view was nice - could see the Hang Dau Water Tower right from our window. The location was perfect for us located at the northern end of the Old Quarter. It gave us a quiet spot to go back to within walking distance of all of the shopping, markets, and dining. There is a fantastic Bun Cha street spot located by the hotel. Walking south out of the hotel, first right and at the end of the alley. We went there almost every morning for breakfast. We initially booked this room for one night and ended up staying for six. Overall a great place for the price! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Hanoi.

The sheets has a few small stains on them. The shower water gets really hot sometimes.. like burning hot.

The location is great close to everything. And the room has a lot of charm for sure. Hotel was a recently refurbished building.

Got old torn towels with holes in them. Contrary to most reviews the host was a bit too rude towards us. And that's an exception since we met the most kind hosts in Vietnam. Although the hotel was near empty our request for additional 30 minutes to pack bags was refused and the room demanded immediately. Pushy towards making additional sales. EDIT: Rating reduced from 7; after the owner sent many Whatsapp messages to my private number along with CCTV video of us at the venue. This is weird behavior which I have never witnessed before and a breach of privacy. Stay away from this place. Saw other reviews where guests had been DM'd by the host.

Amazing location, rooms were spacious and clean, and Thomas (the owner) is such a lovely guy! He’s happy to help with anything you need. We actually extended our stay as we loved this hotel so much.

A special thanks to Thomas at the reception, who went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. He patiently guided us with local tours, sightseeing recommendations, and helpful travel tips throughout our stay. Even after we checked out, Thomas and the hotel team kindly allowed us to store our luggage because our travel schedule didn't match the checkout time, which was a huge help. They also graciously let us use the restroom after checkout before we left for the airport, showing exceptional care and hospitality. We truly felt valued as guests and highly recommend Old Quarter Charm Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi—we would happily stay here again.

Mr Thomas is an incredible man, he really really took lot of care to us most importantly we have two people who are physically challenged, thomas was there all throughout out journey for any small to biggest help and support.
