This place is absolutely amazing. It's not very lively in the p.m. but it is very cozy and quiet. I received the best sleep. The rooms do not have ac or tv so be sure to have a small fan of some sort. Very clean rooms, staff are very friendly and accessible.

My experience at Rox Cappadocia was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The views were breathtaking, and I loved being able to look out over the town and take in the beauty of Cappadocia. The customer service was truly 10 out of 10. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and they made me feel so well taken care of throughout my stay. The restaurant was another highlight. The food was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed every meal. The location was also perfect—close to the castle and within easy walking distance to so many beautiful spots around town. Between the incredible views, wonderful staff, delicious food, and convenient location, Rox Cappadocia exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved my experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cappadocia. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located near Uchishar castle and it has incredible view from the terrace, you can watch ballon flights from it. The breakfast isn't various but it's good.

I guess the sign with the 2018 luxury award is outdated. A little upgrade or refreshment is needed. Rooms give on a little courtyard and if you’re lucky to have a window then you hear every move from late arrival to early departure.

We enjoyed our stay at Rox Cappadocia. The location is perfect, just next to Uchisar Castle with an amazing view to the valley. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with various traditional Turkish servings. And the staff was just amazing! Especially the owner, Arda, was very friendly to us; it was as if we knew each other for years. He showed a great hospitality. Also we celebrated our kid's birthday in the hotel and they made nice surprises to make it unforgettable. We would definitely consider to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Die Lage ist gleich bei einer Sehenswürdigkeit. Die Aussicht von der Terasse war sehr schön. Das Personal war lieb. Frühstück hat mir ebenso gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer war sauber.

Kapadokya’da geçirdiğimiz en güzel deneyimlerden biri kesinlikle Rox Cappadocia oldu. Daha giriş yaptığımız ilk andan itibaren kendimizi misafir gibi değil, adeta evimize gelmiş gibi hissettik. Tüm ekip inanılmaz güler yüzlü, samimi ve her konuda yardımcıydı. Odalar tertemiz, çok konforlu ve mağara konsepti gerçekten büyüleyiciydi. Kahvaltı hem kaliteli hem de oldukça zengindi. Her sabah güne keyifle başladık. Otelin manzarası kelimelerle anlatılamayacak kadar güzeldi. Gün doğumunda gökyüzünün renk değiştirmesini ve Kapadokya’nın büyüleyici siluetini izlemek unutulmaz bir deneyimdi. Her baktığımızda kendimizi adeta bir masalın içindeymiş gibi hissettik. Kapadokya’da konaklamayı düşünen herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. Bizim için 10/10 bir deneyimdi. Tekrar görüşmek dileğiyle. ❤️

Room No 3! Make sure you book it for deluxe suite overlooking panoramic view and the fairytale chimneys that epitomize Capadoccia! The roof top lounge area with stars high above you, the castle cave lit up behind you within a few metres and mountain ranges wherever your eyes rest ensure the perfect closure to every evening. A stone throw from the old town and castle cave (definitely climb at sunset!) - you literally cannot have a better location. Enjoy an authentic cave hotel experience at affordable pricing, a spectacular breakfast to start your day and superb Turkish coffee. The owner Arda literally cannot do enough to make your stay special. He will happily pass on recommendations of where to eat and try help any way he can (even for places you visit after Capadoccia). His recommendation of eating at Henna Konak rooftop Top bar in Goreme (12 min taxi) was exceptional...wow wow...food, views, decor... 7 star!! Another great sunset restaurant 5 min from the hotel was Senza...amazing service, insane views and food also. Thank you!

The views were exceptional and we loved the cave rooms. The location was good as well. We enjoyed waking up early with a cup of coffee and watching the hot tub balloons takeoff. Every morning before starting our day, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast served.

Otel sahibi de ayni sekilde son derece güler yüzlü, ilgili ve misafirperver biriydi. Otelin manzarasi muhtesemdi, Kapadokya'nin büyüleyici atmosferini en güzel şekilde yansitiyor. Kahvaltisi ise gergekten çok lezzetliydi, her sabah güne harika bir baglangiç yaptik. Kisacasi hem rahatlik hem de sicak bir ortam arayanlar için Rox Cappadocia'yi kesinlikle tavsiye ediyoruz. Wonderful boutique hotel at the foot of the Uchisar castle. Stunning views, charmingly decorated very comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast. The owner Arda provided super helpful advice on restaurants, stops for our car ride to Urfa etc, and his staff very warm hospitality. This place is a gem! We were impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Uchisar Castle. The views were breathtaking, and we had a great view of the hot air balloons.

This is an unusual hotel as it is built into the rock of Uchisar Castle. We were actually in a cave dwelling perhaps dating thousands of years. Mind bending experience. The staff = excellent with special tanks to Furkar. Breakfast = something else. Given a chance we shall return.

Die Lage ist einfach top, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Besonders toll fanden wir den Ballonstart am frühen Morgen – ein echtes Highlight! Das türkische Frühstück war super lecker und , vielfältig und geschmacklich klasse. Ein grosses Dankeschön an das Team: alle waren mega freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Sogar ein Kinderbett wurde uns sofort organisiert, obwohl wir erst am gleichen Tag gebucht haben – richtig toller Service! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein paar Dinge waren für uns nicht ganz ideal: Das Zimmer ohne Fenster war mit Kind etwas schwierig, und ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre sehr praktisch gewesen. Ausserdem sind immer wieder kleine Steine vom Felsen heruntergefallen – das gehört zwar zur Natur, kann aber im Bett etwas störend sein. Wir haben diese Punkte mit dem Personal besprochen, und sie haben uns alles freundlich erklärt und gute Lösungen angeboten (z. B. durften wir unsere Sachen im Kühlschrank des Hotels deponieren). Vielen Dank dafür – wir sind sicher, dass in Zukunft noch mehr darauf geachtet wird.

We LOVED this little diamond of a hotel (at the base of Uchisar Castle), which we stayed at in early September. Don't be fooled by any first impressions of this apparently unassuming, little spot with only 8 suites. Surrounded by flashy neighbours, ROX really rocked !! It is a perfect base for exploring Cappadocia. Unique individual suites. We got to experience #6 and #3. We loved both - each had their own individual charm. Arda, the owner, was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Husband & wife team Mustafa and Burcin, looking after daily guest needs, were AMAZING. Breakfast was AMAZING. Burcin's daily home baked breads and sweetcakes were AMAZING, as well as the homemade jams and honey. Laundry was taken care of at a very reasonable rate. A local private tour was arranged when our booked tour was cancelledĺt minute by the tour company. Cold beer was in plentiful supply. Watching the sunrise balloon flight from the rooftop terrace was just magic (having flown the day before). We were a little unsure when we first arrived as to whether we had made a good choice. We quickly realised we had found a complete gem. This hotel was pretty much perfect. Thank you Arda, Mustafa and Burcin. If you want a unique, genuine, and personal care experience, this is the place to go to in Cappadocia. We thoroughly recommend and give it 5 🌟.

Great breakfast, communication and terrace. Owner was friendly and engaging. Could use a small bar but we went to the one at the next door hotel. Would also be nice if the bathrooms had more lighting. Overall we had a nice time.

This place has a great customer service! Mustafa & his teams are awesome! Great room with 5 stars breakfast & stunning sunset views. It’s really close to castle entry as it will be very easy. It’s very close to Uchisar castle with amazing views. Staffs are very friendly & made us feel very special since we had 19 month of baby. Rooms were super clean & also and baby crib was ready for our 19 month old. Mustafa helped us booked ATV RIDE & recommend local place to eat, which had great food. Thanks to Mustafa & his team, we loved it & highly recommend this place!

The location is absolutely breathtaking — perched on a hilltop in Uçhisar with a panoramic view that looks unreal. My room was cozy, elegant, and had a lovely private feel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast setting is gorgeous, especially with the view of the valley and hot air balloons in the distance.

Daha evvel bir kaç kez geldiğim kapadokyaya temmuz ayında ilk kez geldim. Bu mevsimde epey sıcak ve gezilecek yerler sıcak dolayısıyla biraz zorlayıcı. Otelde çalışanlar son derece güleryüzlü ve yardımsever. Şirin bir butik otel, bölgenin ruhunu yansıtıyor. Sadece odada bir minibuzdolabı olsa iyi olurdu soğuk su severler için :)) Teşekkürler Rox Cappadocia..

We had a wonderful experience here. The place had so much character, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the decor was thoughtfully chosen — stylish, tasteful, and full of charm without feeling overdone. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. Overall, we truly loved everything about our visit. From the ambiance to the impeccable service and the delicious breakfast, it all came together perfectly. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable start to their day.

We didn’t have any water the first day we arrived, but it’s a problem in the region, not the hotel’s fault.

Kahvaltısı çeşit açısından zengin ve lezzetliydi. Otel personeli oldukça güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Özellikle Arda Bey’e ayrı bir parantez açmak gerek—bir sorun varsa mutlaka çözer. O bile çözemiyorsa, büyük ihtimalle kimse çözemez! 🙂

Excellent rooms with terrific character, furnished with traditional Turkish furniture and antiques, located just underneath Uçhisar Castle. Expansive views of Göreme’s ‘fairy chimneys’ and Üçhisar town. The owner Arda and staff were always on hand to help in any way. The breakfast is exceptional with great variety smd tastes. Thank you!

The terrace and common areas could do with some tidying up

1st class hotel on the foothill of the Uchisar Castle with undisturbed views of the valley and morning balloon views. Friendly staff with good clean cave rooms. Drinks are limited and the fridge is not cold enough for a great beer. Easy travels to other towns.

We stayed 5 nights - 2 in the Premier Cave Suite; 3 in the Deluxe Stone Room. The experience was excellent. Every detail of the decor was a statement to artistry and perfection. The service was exceptional. The breakfast a culinary delight. The location perfect.

Fukram was an excellent, stellar employee who personally made the trip perfect for me. His knowledge of the culture, food, and his own hospitality made the stay as good as it was.

I had a great stay at Rox Cappadocia. The place is amazing, great location and panoramic views from the hotel terrace. Convinient parking lot as well and best breakfast ever, with an amazing service and friendly staff. I had a problem with my rented car and I was very lucky to have Mustafa calling the agency for me and explaining the issue in Turkish. He really saved my day and my vacation and he really didn’t have to. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place has great customer service. The pancakes were so delicious! Great rooftop for seeing the balloons. It’s close to a lot of places like restaurants and great places to take pictures. You can have them to schedule airport transportation.

The rooms were really specials and comfy, we got 2 rooms including one with an incredible view. The decorations of the rooms are amazing. The personal is super nice, kind and competent. The breakfast was excellent. Everything was perfect, we will come back

Tavsiye üzerine geldim ve aşırı memnun kaldım odalar doğal taş olduğu için Tabiki arada dökülme yapıyor ama bu zaten bilinen ve beklenilen bir durumdu. Çalışanlar ve otel sahibi çok güler yüzlü yardım sever kişilerdi. Balonları izlemek için otelin dışına çıkmayın sakın biz o hatayı yaptık dönüşte otelin terasına çıktık ve çok daha güzel bir manzarayla karşılaştık. Misafir perverliğinizden dolayı çok teşekkür ederiz.

The breakfast here was absolutely unreal!!! Best breakfast we have had in turkey by far and we were stoked to enjoy it twice. The location is unreal at the bottom of the Castle at the top of the hill. The views to watch the balloons in the morning was great. The staff were all so friendly and helpful which made our stay so easy. Our room was large and we had the best shower that we have experienced in Turkey. Would be recommending!

Beautiful boutique hotel, just 8 rooms. We so enjoyed our stay here. Our room, #7, the Cave Room was beautiful, with old world charm, yet modern with a big bathroom and shower. The shower is fantastic and the bath products luscious. Bidet's, built into the toilet, are always appreciated. Nice big towels, hairdryer. The bed was comfortable, pillows as well. And the duvet was really nice. There's a kettle, thermos of water, cups, instant coffee, sparkling water....however, be aware that there's no Aircon, but we were fine with just the fan. It's a great location and on their upper terrace you can watch the sunset, sunrise and the hot air balloons. Or, just lounge. And it's right next to Uchisar Castle. The hotel is beautifully decorated, each room different and unique, the attention to detail evident everywhere you look. Arda, the owner, and the staff are terrific, service is excellent, everyone very attentive. The breakfast, which comes with your room booking, unbelievable. A typical Turkish breakfast, next level, like everything about this Hotel. Cheeses, breads, nuts, olives, so many different spreads from savory to sweet, homemade jams...... It's definitely one of the most unique places we've ever stayed. And very romantic. I highly recommend it.

Not a single complaint about this stay. We were upgraded to a beautiful cave room with a large bath. It was clean and very comfortable. The location is phenomenal, right below the castle and with a perfect view over the valley. The hotel is small and hardly anyone was staying so we often had the entire terrace to ourselves, which is rare for summer in Cappadocia. Gorgeous decor and very photo friendly. Then staff were all so helpful and kind and the breakfast was the best we had in Turkey. Truly, as far as accommodation goes, this is a still hidden gem.

Located in the highest mountain in thr city of Cappadocia in one of the best Location. The hotel is very nice , clean, comfy . The staff is very welcoming and friendly . We decided to check out of Rox Capadokya due to the unbearable conditions and lack of proper sleeping arrangements and the airless rooms with no air conditioning or windows. My 14 year-old and 11 year-old daughters were expected to sleep on a small couch called a double bed LOL The room had no air circulation due to no windows there was no air-conditioning Has been a cave room it was extremely claustrophobic, especially with no air circulation. We checked in we notified the staff that the room was not adequate to us and asked if we can change the room and he said the hotel had no availability and he may help tomorrow morning Expecting my children to sleep on single couch on a full price paid room which was very unfair. The manager Furkan refused to refund our money. He insisted that our travel agent should have known that the hotel does not have air-conditioning because it’s stated on their website. However, upon checking, there was no such information available. This was after a long period of arguing and without providing any satisfactory solutions initially. Our experience was terrible, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Images and videos of the room will be attached as evidence of our complaint.
