The location is second to none.

Absolutely splendid — and even better than expected. The Takaev Cave Hotel is simply splendid. The rooms look exactly like they do in the photos, but somehow the overall experience is even better than you expect. The breakfast is truly regal — generous, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Omar, the administrator, is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you might need, from recommendations to organizing activities and transfers. And there’s just a really lovely vibe throughout the place: cozy, relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely special. And then there’s Tancer. 🐶 The tiny hotel dog who casually steals your heart and makes you seriously consider moving in permanently. Would absolutely stay here again. ❤️

Loved every minute. Was debating whether to stay in Uchisar or Goreme, so glad we ended up staying in Uchisar. The location was perfect, the room we stayed in was large and had everything we needed and the views from the terrace were incredible. Would highly recommend!

Very well situated, the setting is out of this world, a lot of potential. The room was spacious and well decorated. Being into a cave, it was always fresh and relaxing. Breakfast was good and copious, really enjoyable. Staff was friendly/

The low point was cleanliness. flower pots were having dead plants all over, office desk was cluttered. The rooms are not cleaned. towels are being dried outside the rooms in common area.

The staffs and the room is amazing. We had great experience at Cappadocia.

We were in the Sultan Cave room. The room is beautiful and it is really an irreplaceable experience, we were here for our honeymoon, all recommendations. Manager Omar is really willing to help with anything you need and to organize your stay. You can see balloons every morning at sunrise and its 2 min from the castle.

It's not not liking its just something that you should know before staying here: this is not Goreme and balloons are pretty far away but still beautiful to watch, this room has just two small opening windows so humidity is big, and most important Infront of the room window is common area like terase where anyone can stand or pass by so we had curtains on most of the time

Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet. Mega Blick direkt ins Tal und auf die Ballons. Frühstück war gut und jeden Tag etwas anders. Personal nett und zuvorkommend.

Ein zusätzlicher Mülleimer im Zimmer wäre toll gewesen auch gab es keinen Zimmerservice.

Location was great, right in the center of Uchisar (little town with cozy streets and view on valley), only 5 min walk from the Uchisar Castle and 10 min drive from Goreme. Cave room was comfortable and cozy. Property host Omar, was very friendly and professional, he helped to organize hot air balloons and some last minute activities for us. Always attentive and happy to help. Breakfast was amazing, cheese plate, eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes, jams, sausages, some traditional Turkish pastries, tea! We loved our stay and very recommended it.

Uchisar is not as busy as Göreme. The hotel had a beautiful view of the valley with the balloons. Omar, the manager, did an out standing job to organize trips, transportation etc. We could not have asked for more. Breakfast was delicious and plenty full. We would highly recommend the Takaev Cave Hotel

Location and breakfast. Omar tried his best to keep up with the facilities shortfall.

Instead of 5 bed, it was 4 bed + sofa. Water, Dust bin were missing and bedsbeet were torn and ink stained. We have to carry our own language to the lower floor by steps which had cost involved. Overall lighting was too dull

More overhead light needed to find things in suitcases, although the ambience was wonderful.

Aamiainen oli runsas ja maukas. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, sänky puhdass ja sijainti Uchisarissa oli hyvä (kuumailmapalloja näkyi hotellin terassilta hyvin). Luolahotelli jossa oli aitoa turkkilaista tunnelmaa!

Olimme kolme yötä, yhden kerran olisi pyyhkeet voitu vaihtaa ja tarkistaa WC paperi tilanne, mutta tämä oli hyvin pieni juttu eikä nyt niin kovasti häirinnyt, koska hinta-laatu -suhde oli kohdillaan.

La ubicación es espectacular, cuenta con una vista privilegiada ! y esta cerca de la plaza central de Uchisar, así como del castillo. El desayuno es espectacular ! y el encargado es una persona muy amable y atenta a resolver tus dudas!

No tengo ninguna queja ! mas bien una recomendación para los viajeros, consulten antes de reservar la habitación en que nivel queda, yo viaje con mi mama ( 73 años) no consulte sobre la ubicación de la habitación y a ella le cuesta subir y bajar gradas, por lo que hubiera preferido una habitación mas cercana al lobby.

Camera grotta molto molto particolare: luci che danno un'atmosfera gradevole, bagni spaziosi e puliti. Colazione molto abbondante, per lo più salata.

Location: Urchisar is a wonderful town, the castle is stunning and the same holds true for the Pigeon valley. The view from the hotel is magnificent, both during the day and at night. The room was spatious and the entire hotel is extremely photogenic. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Lack of seats and proper space for the luggage in the room. Lack of hangers in the wardrobe. Water floods the entire bathroom during showers. The room was very humid and full of dust falling from the ceiling. NOT recommended to people with allergies. The lightning was insufficient, especially in the bathroom.

L’emplacement et les chambres sont au top, offrant un point de vue exceptionnel sur la vallée de Göreme. Omar, est très discret et fait tout pour que nous ne manquions de rien, il semble un peu froid au prime abord, mais en discutant avec lui, il est adorable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Omar the manager was so kind and attentive to our every need. The breakfast was a Turkish feast. The location was amazing … sitting on the patio at sunrise to watch the balloons set off was spectacular. We loved the village sites and found there were hidden gems of little restaurants and shops around every corner. We highly recommend and plan on coming back. Thanks to Omar and the staff for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at this cave boutique hotel in Uçhisar, Cappadocia was truly enchanting! Starting the day on the terrace with a breathtaking view of Cappadocia’s unique fairy chimneys and valleys was unforgettable. The cave rooms were comfortable and authentic, the staff was extremely warm and attentive, and the service was flawless. Watching the sunrise and the hot air balloons floating over the landscape offered an ideal experience.

Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten unsere eigene kleine Etage, wo wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Aussicht atemberaubend schön. Am Wochenende konnten wir morgens sowohl die Ballons fliegen, als auch die Sonne aufgehen sehen.

Das eine Zimmer mit den drei Betten war etwas zu dunkel und in diesem als auch in einem anderen Zimmer ist der Putz von der Decke gefallen. Es wurde leider täglich das Zimmer nicht geputzt. Dafür musste man extra nachfragen, glaube ich.

Amazing balloon and valley view.

The view from the hotel was amazing. The reception staff helped us book a regional tour and a hot-air balloon flight. Unfortunately, the balloon flights were canceled due to bad weather, but the regional tour was very enjoyable.

We came with our group of friends, and everything was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It's a bit far to bus station

Lovely local cave hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Breakfast was very nice. Omar, the manager, has a great sense of humour and worked hard to ensure we were satisfied with everything. We were able to book tours, etc via the hotel staff who ensured that we got a good deal.

아침마다 열기구 올라가는 걸 볼 수 있었는데 참 좋았고 사람이 너무 많지않아 좋았습니다 직원분들이 참 친절했고 조식 너무너무 맛있었어요

얼리체크인을 신청했는데 해준다 해놓고 만실이라 들어갈 수 없어 로비에 있다가 들어갔어요 이 부분은 저희가 갔던 때가 추석에 극성수기라 어쩔 수 없었던 거 같긴 해요 아 그리고 샤워부스에 물이 약간 샐 수 있으니 테이프를 들고가세요

Die Zeit geht auch an diesem Hotel nicht vorbei. Bauunterhaltung, nicht schließende Türen, Beleuchtung und andere Kleinigkeiten bedürfen Aufmerksamkeit.

As the room is carved in the rock cleanliness is not the best, and there was not enough hot water for the jacuzzi. The blanket was a bit small also

The view from the hotel is enchanting. Our room was an actual cave carved into the mountain! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The mattress on my wife's and my bed was somewhat stiff and could have been more comfortable (we both said it felt a bit like cardboard), but we still got a nice night's sleep. The cot our daughter slept on was not comfortable, and she didn't sleep well at all the first night - she could feel the metal bars supporting the mattress, We asked for another comforter, which we folded in two and laid on top of the mattress, and her second night was very restful.

Perfect location for exploring and also for viewing balloons. Also a nice atmosphere on the mountain, bustling, but still with less touristy vibe.

Because of his inherent limitations of a cave, some parts of room a little awkward. (Such as an unexpected stair at the edge of the room). Also not very much light, but again adds to cave experience.

Aziz was extremely helpful organizing our transport . All staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect and the view of the balloons in the morning from our balcony was divine.
