The late check-in process was very easy and convenient, with great communication from the staff. The rooms were super clean, tidy, and very presentable from the moment we walked in. We had a really comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this place to everyone we know!

Rooms were rather dated and the units were facing the road, but having stayed at many of the motels in the area, this was by far the best value for money.

Great bathroom and kitchen facilities do the job! Heated floors are a great bonus. Excellent and easy check-in. Hospitable hosts and a warm welcome. Location and parking were both convenient too! Overall, a really excellent spot for travellers who are pottering around the city, with no disruptions or issues during the stay whatsoever!

There was some room for cleanliness; the bedding had some dark marks/stains on the sheets and one pillow + the floor had some hair clumps - none of this felt dirty per-say, but some would be deterred. The TV is a bit of a throwback, but it does the job perfectly! NB: For the summer, those who like to sleep-in will suffer with the power of the morning sun! Even at 10am, it was scorching 🥵

Nice simple accommodation. Right on the doorstep of Riccarton Mall, and the wider Riccarton shopping district. Room held the warmth in well also.

Although the location is generally very good, the traffic whilst getting in or out of the Property is quite heavy at certain times of day. Thankfully though a majority of Chch drivers have courtesy 😉

Great service, large comfortable room, full Sky channels, and the Westfield mall in a very short walking distance.

Location close to shops but in Clarence St rather than Peverel St (as address) so very busy road and access hard.

Facilities pretty shabby. Curtains coming off rails, electrical tape on two plugs, tv didn’t work, bathroom sink very slow draining, didn’t have couch as advertised (room looked different to photos and no space for couch).

Mould in bathroom. Toilet very dirty. Basin blocked. Taps were coming off the benches. Mould in the room. No refresh in room while we stayed. Didn’t even pick up an change wet floor mat. Milk was off. No sugar

The bed and shower in one room and the bath the next time was great as it was deep ..I enjoyed the free drink upon arrival of the first visit ..none tho on the next time staying ..

I'd like the up stairs verander to be wider to allow to sit outside room

Room next to the road was quite noisy until later at night - car traffic.

No heat pump - just a wall radiator type heater that didn't really heat the room - had to leave it on 24/7 Also the room wasn't serviced enough (ran out of toilet paper and towels), the office was often unattended, and the people doing the servicing didn't speak english.

Late night check in to be greeted on our arrival with heaters on making it lovely and warm and great having lights on as well . To top things off nicely complimentary drinks waiting for us as well.

Very clean, modern and spacious room. Nice big bathroom. Great location. We checked in late and left early for an international flight. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this lovely motel.

Kind, caring staff had put the heaters on in the unit for us, provided complimentary drinks and let us have a late checkout due to family member's international flight in being late. Third time I've stayed here and marvelous every time.

I have stayed at 123 several times and it is always consistently good. The motel manager had turned on the heater prior to my evening arrival which was very thoughtful. I requested an upstairs room which was accommodated. Room is very bright and sunny. Good selection of TV channels and the TV remote is easy to operate. Would stay again. Recommend a visit to the Old Jailhouse at Darfield, about half hour drive towards the West Coast. It's a small police museum that has been restored by the local community.

Very comfortable, well appointed, personal assistance outstanding from helpful manager, heater on, lights on and complimentary drinks put out. Close to shopping mall, buses, railway station. It is on a busy road but we were unaware of any traffic noise.

On arrival, we had friendly reception, going out of his way to make our stay to feel at home. We had complimentary drinks awaiting us and fresh rooms. Top service 👌
