Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Value for money was right up there - especially booking at late notice. We booked a stay for the night before a flight overseas and ended up coming back for a night when we flew back in before the drive home the following day. We will be back!

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Great location. Accessible to everything within minutes. The restaurant had fantastic indian food, which was the best part. Four of us stayed in the room, 2 adults, 2 kids (10 & 5), and we had 2 double beds. I think room size is perfect for 2 adults if you are staying longer. Otherwise, it was easily manageable with kids for 1-2 nights.
The heater in the rooms didn't work well. We went during winter, so that was kind of stressful. Otherwise, during summer shouldn't be a problem, i guess. Room door opens with normal metal key, with used to get stuck many times. TV didn't work.

The only thing we thought it could have done with was a microwave, just to heat some stuff up and maybe a Menu with prices on from their restaurant. also maybe a tea towel to clean cups when we had a coffee.

More of motel style accomodation felt smaller than photos made it to be. Shower drain was a bit slow and at times looked like it could have overflowed (likely one off)

Rooms are VERY small, with one chair for 3 people and no space to put a bag. Shower leaks all over bathroom floor. Made the mistake of looking out the bathroom window- all sorts of rubbish including dirty sanitary pads. No info in room relating to the restaurant, and website clunky and hard to use.

No Hot Chocolate. It was like the cleaner hadn't fully cleaned, missing pillowcases, lack of face cloths, no tea towel or cleaning cloth/brush, grime on doors and the shower, also the toilet bowl had hairs under the seat. No car parks available also.

As a repeat guest, I really appreciate the comfortable rooms, convenient location, and friendly service. The consistency is what keeps bringing us back. I know we'll have a pleasant and hassle-free stay every time. After so many visits, it genuinely feels familiar and welcoming. Highly recommended, especially if you’re looking for a reliable place to stay in Christchurch. Rubal, the Hotel Manager is 100/10. =)

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026I have difficulty walking. Mr. Rubal Gera the manager gave me a room close to my car and courteously carried my bag for me. The restaurant provided a comfortable setting with excellent food at reasonable prices. I'll stay thee again next time I go to Christchurch.
Nothing to complain about at all. I enjoyed my stay in comfortable, clean surroundings.
