Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Breakfast was delightful, served on the terrace overlooking a beautiful view. The convenience in the centre of town was brilliant for wandering about and dining out. The staff were extremely welcoming and spoke very good English. The room had a decent hairdryer for a change! There is a little terrace with reclining deckchairs which enabled an afternoon snoozing and sunbathing after sightseeing. We'll be back!
Not a criticism, but.... we stayed in Room 9 downstairs which had a lovely lounge area with fabulous views and access to the garden. Our bedroom as a result didn't have a view, so I would recommend the upper levels for a room with a view.

The room was a little noisy in the morning, as the kitchen was above us, this didn’t cause me any trouble but worth bearing in mind. The parking is not on site and can be a bit confusing for I navigate on arrival.

Given that it was located in a part of the town that was difficult to drive to, their directions were outstanding. The hotel was recently renovated in an attractive contemporary style while still appropriate to the historical setting. Breakfast and drinks were on a lovely patio overlooking the valley. The view from the room was great, as was the room itself.
Automobile access is limited to only when you arrive and when you depart, but the remote-parking area is only about a four-mijnute walk away.

Savu auto pie viesnīcas novietot nevar, tikai tuvākajā stāvvietā ārpus vecpilsētas. Var sarunāt pievest koferus pie viesnīcas.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés dans une chambre immense, très propre, confortable et décorée avec goût. L’accueil a été chaleureux et toute l’équipe a été très sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon, avec une serveuse souriante et attentionnée. Une excellente adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter et où nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to help with even the smallest questions or requests. A special thank you to the receptionist and the bartender who welcomed us on arrival. They immediately made us feel at home with their kindness and outstanding service. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Das Frühstück war mehr als lecker und der Ausblick beim Frühstück lohnt sich wirklich! Die Zimmer waren sauber, wunderschön und die Berten bequem! Wir würden wieder kommen!

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Het uitzicht over de bergen is werkelijk fantastisch. Ik had de kamer met privé terras en dat was heerlijk. De kamer is ruim en mooi ingericht, met een prima en ruim bed.
Het zou fijn zijn als er een hor was bij het raam van de badkamer, zodat dat open kan zonder dat er meteen een hoop muggen binnenkomen.

Parking was a bit confusing, I called the WhatsApp numbers and got no answer. I ended up driving on incredibly narrow roads in a rental car which was very stressful.

The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. As my first trip travelling alone they made me feel at ease and I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to that area, it is ideal for visitors looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, hiking through the mountains or cycling across the terrain.

It is an easy walk to the shops, & restaurants etc. The view from the balcony while eating the delicious breakfast is perfect (loved the freshly squeezed juice!) The staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room, although compact, was well appointed and comfortable and the view was amazing. The room had a fridge, a kettle which is great (coffee only, no milk or tea though). Nicely appointed bathroom, towels & toiletries & a bath, although low pressure meant it was slow to run, but there are worse things to worry about these days. Overall a lovely place to stay, my husband and I really enjoyed it. It is ideal for a couple of days of quiet relaxation. It isn’t a hotel with lots of amenities, so if you want the gym, pool, spa thing this isn’t the place for you - if you want a lovely vibe, a comfy room, a quiet bar and a great view, it’s perfect.
The hotel is a bit tricky to get find. It would have been beneficial to be provided with some additional info about finding the hotel & parking etc before we arrived. Yes, parking is included but it isn’t near the hotel so be mindful of this if you prefer to have your car close by. You can drive into the old town to drop your luggage off, but you need to remove your car from the area once unloaded.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I would give it a 12! They went the extra mile anytime we needed help. If you were looking for something that is absolutely delightful, intimate, with an excellent team and a great room, this is the place!
The only thing that could’ve been better is if we had stayed a few more days.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026창문을 열면 보이는 풍경이 정말 아름답고 고요했습니다. 숙소 프런트 데스크 직원이 정말 친절했고 조식을 담당하는 서버도 굉장히 친절하여 매일 아침을 기분좋게 시작할 수 있었습니다. 침구도 포근하고 편안해서 잠을 정말 잘잤습니다. 햇살이 강하게 들어와 따뜻했고, 매일 일출과 일몰을 볼 수 있어서 행복했습니다.
화장실 샤워부스에 곰팡이와 물때가 많아 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 그 외에 모든것들은 정말 완벽했습니다.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026I stayed in Room 2, which had a beautiful view of the valley and mountains that you would want to bottle up and take home with you. I visited in winter, and heating that I could completely control was provided. The bed was so comfortable, I found myself wondering from where they got their mattress. Breakfast was lovely and with a lovely view too.
Sound carries more than expected in the building, so quiet only happened in the middle of the night. As a very minor aside, it would have been great to also have tea included in the room instead of just coffee, although the staff gave me tea bags when I asked for it.
