Best Western Plus Barrie

Perfect location for visiting family

Near the 400

Breakfast. Clean.

Nothing to mention

Was clean and good location

Was told by you it was a quuen bed but it was a double The bed was unconfortable Too high

Being on the ground floor.

Location,breakfast and staff

Showers are horrible no pressure and mattresses need replaced

Easy access, clean comfortable beds…friendly staff.

Very nice hotel with comfortable beds. Great facilities.

The air conditioning unit in our room was extremely loud with no way to lower the noise of the fan speed. It kept waking us up during the night. I turned the temperature up to 25 to stop it from turning on, but then couldn’t sleep because it was too hot.

Convenient location, clean and airy room.

The disposable cutlery and paper plates The gym bike was out of use

Good location just off the highway, short 20 / 25 min walk into town, free parking, good breakfast with friendly hostess, and comfy beds.

No issues

Our room was spacious with a full kitchenette and table to eat at. The beds were comfortable. as we were on the ground floor it was very efficient to load our vehicle. Staff were helpful when aksed for towels and paper supplies.

The location was good.

The room wasn’t what I was expecting. Never anyone at the front desk. I had another person there back into my vehicle - not really the hotels fault.

Convenient

Price for value

Convenient location, short walk to the harbor, clean comfortable room and public spaces. Friendly staff. Good parking.

Clean, awesome staff and hot breakfast is delicious.

No hot tub, and or sauna

Pool was great, room was a great size.. most hotels require me to rent 2 rooms for our family size.

Room spacious with a kitchenette and patio door allowing access to the car . Near the centre of town and the venues we needed to go to. Easily accessible to highway. Breakfast is included.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, staff professional. Breakfast staff person was welcoming and friendly.

Parking lot could be better maintained in winter conditions. Bathroom door did not open and close properly.

Breakfast and breakfast staff was amazing. Also love the pool even tho small still very nice after a day or boarding.

That I had to leave :(

Breakfast !

Noise from other guests - mainly in lobby.

The staff was wonderful. The location near RVH was excellent. The breakfast was great!

The room was old and tired. The hotel was full of hockey and cheerleading kids making it noisy and rec areas impossible to use. The gym was broken down and unable to use. The pool was overflowing with kids.

That our friends were staying there and the breakfast staff were very friendly

They didn’t have the room we booked, so we were stuck with a queen and a pullout which was very uncomfortable for our whole family. Worst sleep/stay we have had at a hotel in a long time. Also got hosed for the price because the place was booked the very next night is a fraction of the cost.

The pool area lacked a little bit and the pool chemicals were harsh

Amazing stay!! Will do it again!!

Everything!!

I reserved a room There. The guy would not check me in as I did not have a visa, but I did have a debit Visa and a huge amount of cash which I was willing to put a deposit and they could’ve inspected the room before giving me back my money and the guy bluntly refused us so I ended up having to drive back three hours with three kids in the car and I did not have a visa the next day I came and rented the hotel beside and had the best time we could’ve ever asked

Excellent location. Nice short distance to the restaurants, bars and the waterfront.

Breakfast tasted awful. Bacon and omelletes tasteless.

Breakfast was very good! Ladies very friendly and helpful.

I did not like the unfinished Reno’s in my washroom.

매우 편안하고 깨끗하고 따뜻했습니다.

조식이 다른 베스트웨스턴보다 부족했습니다. 또 통로에 아이들이 밤이며새벽에 떠뜰고뛰어다녀 시끄러웠습니다.

Good location, clean and comfortable.

Nothing.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, bringing breakfast to my room and helping with luggage as I was injured. Very wonderful staff and I wish I could have tipped them but on odsp and having money issues so all I could do to afford the room but they deserve the world🙂

no thanks

no thanks

Very disappointing that the hotel double charged for my stay and still have not returned the hold deposit the take at check in. I have called and they have not regulated the issue or returned my call. They also claim its a type of pending charge which is not accurate either. Disappointing since person at the front desk seemed friendly and yet you have to chase them with calls with them and now my credit card company

Very nice property! Highly recommend.

Well maintained facility. Excellent breakfast as well.

A bit dated, needs a face lift; but location and price were good

Spacious ADA room with parking close by. Nice breakfast.

Had to pay $25 extra if we checked in an hour early even though the room was ready. Too many doors to get to the room that were very heavy - very difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

Very clean, comfortable beds.

Clean, convenient off the highway with helpful staff.

The room (201) was huge. 2 Bedrooms, full kitchen, dining and large living room. Staff was very helpful and attentive. The beds were fairly comfortable, but it’s time they were upgraded

Everything

Nothing

Clean, comfortable and roomy

Bed sheet scratchy and not soft

.

Everything was great

Room and hallways were quiet.

All the nearby construction and the large trucks and trailers in the parking lot though my car was not damaged.

Hotel is very tired, especially for the price

Room was fairly big.

Older property that is in need of update. In a commercial area of Barrie far from services such as restaurants. In my opinion this does not rate as a BW Plus.

Got a good peaceful stay

Good breakfast…excellent coffee.

Staff very friendly. Overall it was clean and well kept. Visually, the property is a bit drab in exterior colours. The experience was all right as a whole. For the time of year and how empty the place was for a Sunday night, a better price might be in order.

Helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast

Upon entering the room the light did not work. We did not report this to the desk.

It was nice having a ground floorroom with sliding door

would of been nice if it had a spa, the fitness room was out of order while we stayed there.

Cleanest

The facility is run down and I would rate it at a 2 stars at most. Product used to clean had strong odd smell and we both had a bad reaction to it. Sneezing and congestion.

See anove

Great access to everything.

Enjoyed the room, liked the 3 beds in the room. Very family friendly

Breakfast was a great variety, with cheerful staff

Our stay was great. From our greeting at the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast attendant the staff here were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, quiet and breakfast was a bonus.

Great

I liked the compliment art breakfast and level 2 EV Charging station. I disliked the Kitchenette without plate, cup and only one glass. I disliked the room clean- up policy you have to ask to get anything done. Worst, on last Day I asked twice for clean towels without getting them (9:00 AM and 5:00 PM) We finally borroed towels from the pool, out of despair

Not BW chain std as expected as told hotel is now privately owned . Security patrolling halls on 1st night -unsure why . Police present next morning in hotel - no reason given to guests - feeling of unsafe . Stayed 2 nights . Was not informed of construction around hotel prior to booking which made for a very noisy and dusty stay - in morning - found our parked car coated in layer of dust ! No toiletries provided in room unless requested , which I did each night and had to go pick up myself at front desk- no delivery to room as limited staff . Adequate bkft but very limited seating regardless of time , so guests taking bkft to go or back to room to eat .Bkft only till 930am each day . No light housekeeping ( eg change towels , empty garbage , high touch wipe down, replenish toiletries ) provided unless requested - which I again did prior to 2nd night stay - but not done . One elevator in hotel - long wait (5-10 min ) as constantly used by housekeeping staff w/ trolley & equipment - so had to use stairs - issue for those with mobility issues and on upper floors .Location not great with limited dining options and construction . Pool ok - indoor and not heated - no hot tub as told was sealed over . Price - too expensive( 300$ per night ) for what it is worth. Will not recommend this hotel moving forward .

The property is run down and not being well maintained. Our room had a variety of stains on the carpet, curtains and furniture. Not to mention a very nasty smell. At about 10:00 pm we actually had water dripping from the ceiling. Staff were lovely and did what they could. We were told the owner would be told and would “do something” presumably some kind of discount or credit - still waiting to hear from them.

The front desk lady was wonderful.

Convenient location and clean

Omly thing we didnt like was one night kids were being noisy and slaming doors going in and out. Even tho it was before 11pm ug was annoying. We did let management know and thry would look into it

Lit confortable, beaucoup de place pour 6 personnes

Pour une suite je m’attendais à avoir un gros frigo et petite cuisine, petit stationnement alors pas beaucoup de place. Petite toilette

Very nice

Nice and clean good breakfast
