Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The location is perfect, it's central to everything really. The room was very spacious, clean and had everything needed in terms of amenities. Lovely stuff too, always checking if everything is good. Definitely staying again when I'm back in Palmy for block classes at Massey.
There are no power points/power sockets close to the bed, might need a long extension if needed.

I asked to have a ground floor room when I discovered that the room assigned was upstairs and I was given a downstairs room - it was filthy- cobwebs on the wall, dirty bins, stain on floor , sticky tables, badly scuffed walls. Very disappointing as we did stay at this motel a number of years ago and had a very pleasant time hence goo going back to it this visit- never again.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The location was great, and it was tidy.
The wifi didn’t reach the room we were in, the spa bath had a leak in the plug, it was really cold in the room with the air con set to a low temperature the room struggled to heat up, rang through serval times on the phone to ask for assistance and no one answered until I rang the line on the website. The electric blanket also had no plug to plug into, they brought an extension cord for me and a broken loud oil fin heater to help, the hot water in the shower was also set on a temperature that resulted in my mother being too cold to use it.

Noise was a problem. The heat pump made weird noises and we ended up turning it off and resorting to the extra blanket in the closet. There was a loud fan type humming noise all the time. Sounded like a helicopter idling a block away. Not good. Fortunately I had ear plugs.

The bed, very hard. The light that comes through the top of the curtains. Important to give people tea and coffee cups that are a better size - there weren't enough and they sizes were very small. I think for the price, things could have been more comfortable overall.
