Reasonably priced parking friendly staff
Prefer reception on the ground floor on arrival.... Waiting for the door to open to get in. Rooms felt tired.
The experience of staying in a football stadium and watching the match from the comfort of your hotel room is exceptional. The room was very spacious with everything you need. Car park was handy also being very near with plenty of spaces. The bar and restaurant were very nice and clean also.
Our window that faced the pitch was quite dirty with a greasy film, very surprised it hadn't been clean considering it was a match day. I wasn't very happy with the bed/beds as they appear to be 2 divan beds pushed together and look abit outdated and not really in keeping with the rest of the room. Also there was a clock/radio that literally just collects dust, it was covered in it.
The location was great and the view from our pitch view room was fantastic. The bed was also extremely comfortable and the room size was very generous.
The hotel was a little shabby in places and whilst it was mainly clean, the windows in our pitch view room were a little dirty.
Bit out the way but still near enough to amenities, room was clean corner flag restaurant was nice, breakfast was good. Comfortable bed/pillows. A/C welcoming
Staff at reception not very welcoming we felt. Bar/Restaurant staff very nice.
Room was lovely and spacious Lots of hot water and good pressure in the shower
The shampoo and body wash were empty The wifi was terrible
Staff and facilities excellent
Bar prices a bit OTT
Clean
Could do with more parking
Location .Breakfast was good would of liked a bit more fresh fruit choice. We ate dinner after the game and that was really good and reasonable priced.Overall a good experience.
Pillows we're flat could with upgrading . More fresh fruit choice at breakfast
Good, food, location, staff
It was a bit run down and cleanliness was poor for such a prestigious venue 😒
Location was good as was the little bar
It was looking a bit tired and the bed was actually 2 singles put together so had a little gap in the middle.
Staff were welcoming, room was Amazing and comfortable everything that was needed for a relaxing break. Food was great both at evening meal and breakfast.
Parked at multi storey car park as unsure how safe car would be and it was a 15 minute walk
Very friendly staff, breakfast was well worth the money. Special mention to Sarah who helped my Auntie.

Spacious, clean, great location. Lovely staff and comfortable room
Friendly and efficient bar:restaurant staff
Definitely not a 4 star hotel!! No shower gel or shampoo ( bottles empty) Needs updating Front desk staff could be more helpful Really run down area, didn’t feel safe walking around
The staff we're all friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was very poor for the cost. Greasy and cold with limited options.
Hotel said room had been cancelled with booking.com even though I had confirmation no other room available. We were two disabled ladies the lift was broken and we were left to find somewhere to stay on a Saturday night when the lights had just been switched on Disgusted
Staff
Novel idea for football fans
Rooms where tired and scruffy in parts
Location is great fairly central and easy to walk into town near the tower. Nice buffet breakfast and great check out times.
The carpet had alot of hairs in and the window over looking the ground was dirty. Everything else spot on.
Lovely big clean room.

Excellent hotel, we loved it so much. It went during the heatwave so the air conditioning was a godsend. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. We loved it here.
Nothing bad here!!!
Half board package. Great vfm and food.
Easy to find great location, only 20 min walk to tower etc
Parking slight issue but not really a big problem
Good location and within 15 mins walk of the Golden Mile
There were no bath towels when we arrived - on ringing reception we were advised that as c6pm we checked in that the hotel had a towel shortage as they had all been nicked - completely unacceptable for a 4* hotel Beds not automatically made up each day Safe very small Noisy as on a busy road
Pitch view and restaurant service,
Cleaning is average and beds are not much comfortable.
Fantastic
My father's room was freezing and the wall control wasn't working he had 2 nights freezing ,the young man behind the bar on Monday night heard us talking and went straight and got a portable radiator however it was a big room and didn't warm up ,I'm sure the hotel new this was a problem as the bar man told me a company was coming out to sort on the Tuesday, when you've been out all day and returned during a massive downpour of rain you need a warm room ,one that you can control .1st time in 5yrs visiting we have had this problem.
Comfy bed, nice big shower room
Toilet seat was loose and the sanitary bin had not been emptied
Location , view, good value
Gym and no access to balcony
Location parking and food
The bedding smelled of sweat overwhelming
Stayed here 4 or 5 times. Always a great stay and a great breakfast.
The parking fee
The Internet
Good location, great price and value room, great space in bedroom. Staff helpful next day when we left items in room by mistake and didn’t realise until got home. staff posted item out got item within two days 👌🏽
Lots of empty glasses and plates left in hall way
Generally good
Reception staff very poor
The staff were all really welcoming and helpful
Unfortunately our first room had no air conditioning, working extraction fan or telephone in there, and we had to move rooms. Luckily we were travelling light so it wasn't a major inconvenience. It did feel like the room we were first placed in wasn't a finished room, as it was missing most of the items you find in a standard room.
Staff brilliant and not normally a breakfast person but had it and it was brilliant. £11.95 was worth every penny and then some given quality and amount of posh coffees and juices we had! Even got chatting to some of the Blackpool footy staff and they treated us gently given they beat us (the mighty Stockport County) the week before!
Check in bit chaotic. Our room ready at 4pm (no issues from me because were in no rush). Other guests not too happy at reception but that's life!
The staff at the property was amazing. Could not fault them one bit.
It wasn’t up the standers broken doors, stained wall and mostly why pay for upgrade on a room to see the stadium if they don’t clean the glass on the outside? No tea facilities in room. Had go bad and buy a tea. Heating didn’t work in room so had move rooms then the heating didn’t work in that room also. Breakfast staff amazing so lovely the food let it down it was so dry and chewy couldn’t even eat it. Disappointed rather of stayed at travel lodge over road for much cheaper and cleaner well percentage and better breakfast with heating in your room that works.
Everything - staff in particular
The staff on the reception were nice and offered a refund for the room.
The room was a mess, surfaces all sticky and dirty, bed not clean.
It was a nice hotel, facilities were great and close to most things.
The check in process was a shambles, very unorganised, people over booked, people leaving and asking for refunds. Parking is limited and match days they barricade cars in and close roads off.
Comfortable clean room. Pleasant staff.
Had to wait for clean towels that weren't in the room.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. My son loved the pitch view room. The restaurant also has great views of the pitch which he loved. The food is reasonably priced. The hotel smells clean and looks very tidy.
Paying £10 to park.
Good location
Could do with a bit of tlc signs of wear, book light didn't work blub had been taken out
The room was a good size.. we had a pitch view room..which was excellent...my husband went to the football game on the Saturday....as we were told he couldn't watch from the bedroom....
The hotel is dog friendly which is really good....but some one had a dog off its lead in the restaurant...which was really inconsiderate...as they were other guests around.....and staff didn't even tell them????
Great Hotel, nice room. Loved the pitch view in the bar.
Check in was very poor. One person trying to check in 20 people
Good location and price was reasonable
Rooms are run down now and the errs a charge for car park Breakfast was average
Place looked like it needed a refurb carpets could do with a clean gym non existent apart from one treadmill broken walker
Lovely rooms breakfast excellent and close to all amenities
Size of room
Air con didn't work. No windows to open and not allowed to open the door on a pitch side room . Mixed messages /information from staff. Carpet on stairs were dirty, hairs on furniture from previous occupation. Walls were chipped, just below standard that was expected.
Convenient location
Was tired in the bedroom. Broken lamp, scratched furniture bed was not a king size but 2 singles which where not connected so kept coming apart
Everything was great nice room but smelt a little musty on arrival opening the window got rid of it but the time I came back all was good shame about the check in not until 3
The location and the gym
nothing
The room was spacious & clean with plenty plug sockets. The shower was good but it’s difficult stepping into the bath. Parking was close by but £10 per day. Restaurant was reasonable & meals were huge. AC was a bonus. Iron & ironing board were a bonus.
Step into the shower was a bit dangerous but there was a non slip mat. Thought it was a bit bad that all the blinds were pulled when a match was on. I’m not a football fan but seriously!!
Everything.
Cashless is about the only thing i could complain about.
The only plus was the location
1)Parking: On the booking it states parking is available. Only once I looked further into it I noticed it stated on the booking that parking had to be reserved and at £10 per day. When I clicked the option to reserve parking I was taken to a what's app chat. I was informed at that point that parking was limited and was first come first serve. When I arrived at the hotel I was lucky enough to get a space but was told that even though I've paid £10 for the space for that day, if I left and came back there's no guarantee the space will still be available and that I would need to pay to park in the travel lodge across the road. 2) was advised on the booking the check in time was 3pm. I arrived at 3:30pm and had to sit in reception for a further 25 mins at the room wasn't ready yet. 3) when I eventually got access to the room It looked like dog hair was all over the carpet to the point where it was sticking to our clothes. 4) the beds were extremely uncomfortable and both myself and my partner struggled to sleep and left with aches and pains. 5) I had booked a room with pitch view as the trip was for my 9 year old sons birthday. I wasn't aware that if there was a game playing that day that the curtains had to be closed from 90 minutes prior to kick off. This wasn't clear at the time of booking and I wasn't made aware of this when checking in I only accidently came across the u formation when looking at another part of the booking. I was extremely unhappy with my stay at the this hotel. I was booked to stay for 2 nights but left after only staying one night. I wouldn't recommend the hotel and I will not be returning.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was clean.
Reception was crazy busy. One staff member on. We booked 2 rooms for my daughters 21st birthday, only one room was ready upon check-in. We paid for a birthday package, definitely wasnt worth the money. The bedding was ripped and had holes in. The room was of poor quality, not a 4 star room at all. Upon discovering we had 1 bath towel, no hand towel or bath towel per person, we tried to ring Reception, the phone didnt work. So we rang from our mobile, we wete told housekeeping staff didnt start till 8.45. My husband went to Reception after 9am, housekeeping wete going to deliver us some towels, we checked out at 11am, still waiting for towels. We reported our dissapointment to the lady on Reception, just to get a "Sorry". This was a booking for a surprise 21st birthday. Certainly not worth the money or the 4 star rating. The travel lodge across the rd may have been a better choice.
Good clean room staff very helpful
Nice and clean
It was cool to have a room looking out onto the pitch. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Some parts looked a little tired.
Breakfast was poor.
Have made a complaint and sent over pictures of the state of the room. Am now waiting on a refund after speaking to booking.com and Chloe the manager at hotel
King size bed that was comfortable. Pitch side view
Grubby and looking tired
Location
Thin walls could hear other guests talking
Nice to find a quality room at that price for August. Check in was simple and the room was of a Radisson standard. Spacious , huge comfy bed and with quality toiletries and plenty of fresh towels.
Loud and late party in the San Miguel lounge opposite. Music vibrated the bedroom. Had to ask for a late checkout (normally £15) to catch up on missed sleep which we got. Not a very "quiet room"
Room was spacious clean and value for money
Pillows were too thin but apart from that I cannot find any other negative comments
Nothing I didn't get to go
The fact that either them idle booking .com messed up the booking and informed me the night before With zero interest in putting the situation right just a sorry
Size of the room
There was no fridge in our room despite there being a space for one
Staff were very helpful. Excellent location for the football match I was attending. An added bonus to have bath sheets in the bathroom as opposed to the usual bath towels.
A criticism of booking dot compass claim of 10 minute walk to train station was intact more like 20-25 minutes
Ideal for what we we wanted, we were at the match so it was spot on and a beautiful hotel with great staff
Clean & the restaurant staff were really helpful.
Nothing
Location for a football match was unrivalled. Every member of staff encountered were a credit to the hotel & company, particularly, Mathew in the Corner Flag restaurant at breakfast. He was attentive, friendly and engaging, a fine man indeed.
Couldn't fault a thing.
Brilliant
Everything
The location was ideal as its central and walkable to the centre, if youre able to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Security locks on entrance to be buzzed in 24hrs. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee available with biscuits. Good value for money.
Parking was available but £10 per night. Expensive if you're staying a few nights.
Good size room. Comfortable. Location a little out of the way to what we wanted but there was not much available. It worked out fine for us. The view of the pitch was interesting. Although if your stay is while a match is happening you do have to close the curtain and not watch. Or that’s what I read.
A little bit of a pain to get in to the hotel. You had to get buzzed in each time. Otherwise not a bad place
Location, staff are friendly and lively view of pitch from bar. Phil barman was very friendly
Parking could be included as an expensive add on
Good location
We were in room 115 opposite a staff room, we couldn't sleep as a noisy fan on all night. We reported this twice. We were offered a free breakfast however a refund would of been more welcomed. It was distressing for my mum
Location, pitch view
Restaurant and bar felt a little unclean
Room ideal for me as a single traveller. Good location next to main car park, and fairly central for Blackpool attractions. Ideal 10 min walk for the location I required. Clean.
Tea and coffee stored in cupboard, could have been left out as thought not provided. Very small kettle ( 1 and a half cups from full). Woke up early morning from next door room having tv on loud, sound deadening not ideal. Reception not easy to find when first time visitor.
Good size room. Lots of on-site facilities
A little further away from the town centre than I’ve stopped before. Not much choice for vegetarians/vegans at breakfast
Large room and good location for blackpool prom and coral island.
Room definitely needs spruce up.....lots of marks on the wall with missing paint which made it look shabby. First person we spoke to on reception told us we had to leave by 1230 (the time we parked the car on arrival). On check out, a different person told us that we could re enter our reg to extent the time for no extra charge. It would have been better to have this info at check in as we planned our departure day around having to vacate the car park.
The corner flag restaurant was wonderful and the hotel is clean
Beware is it's a match day the parking is hard and you have to fight your way through the crowd to get to the main entrance
We stayed for 3 nights asked for the room to be cleaned didn't happen also hidden costs
The corner flag restaurant is lovely
Everything was good
Stayed here about 7 times now love Blackpool and the football club not to far to walk to the main attractions
We booked a Superior Pitch View room which we have had before which said had a king size bed but what 2 single beds pushed together so everytime you moved so did the beds absolute joke! There was nothing superior about this room at all. Also the breakfast has took a nose dive the bacon had been on the hot plate to long and was like rubber eggs were over cooked sausages tasted really cheap as in 30 for a £1 they were awful beans were really hard and definitely cheap along with tomato sauce which tasted like vinegar and definitely wasn’t Heinz or any preferred brands! And my wife had a yogurt which was all concealed and looked like it had been there a while! Not impressed 👎👎
The location. the room was ok, not 4 star but very decent.
Someone had smoked in the room and we could smell it.
Liggen is perfect
Betaald parkeren is echt niet oke. De prijs van verblijf zou incl parkeren moeten zijn
Huge bed which was very comfortable. Great views of the pitch, nice bathroom
Bathroom door handle (inside) was a bit loose but still working
The friendly and helpful staff.
Nice breakfast
Waiting till 5pm to get in our room staff saying short handed so we had to sit in reception extra 2hrs
Clean, spacious room Excellent breakfast.
Booked superior room with pitch view- didn't realise that was height dependent!. All the photos show floor to ceiling windows, ours was wall, then half frosted windows, we only came for pitch view for my football mad son but had to pick him up for him to see anything! Not clear at all upon booking as Photos only shows floor to ceiling windows with clear view for the superior rooms!
Great to be at a hotel on a fiotball ground
Check-in times were delayed and I think the information on that could have been better.
Nice hotel with good breakfast
We arrived at 3pm but our rose m was not ready until 5pm. No offer of a drink or a coffee. Receptionist just said they were short staffed and that check in was FROM 3pm. Not a good start to our stay and her attitude was unhelpful and uncaring
Clean
Bathroom
Amazing venue ! Something different
Check in staff could have been more welcoming
Very clean and comfortable hotel
Nice and clean. For me, preferable to some of the beachfront b and bs.
Slight delay in checking in as rooms weren't ready on time
The unique view off the stadium was great waking and seeing the lads working getting the pitch ready for match day was great , wish we had stayed to see the game from our room ,
Windows we’re dirty spoiled the view , couldn’t open the patio doors which I get , smell of Damp small things like fix door handles and locks correctly, beds were past it , needs some tlc
Me and my husband had a 2 night stay in the pitch view room full glass view, although the glass was a little dirty which took the shine off the initial view the whole room was great and we understand that seaside weather doesn’t help and it didn’t effect our stay. The room was very clean with all the facilities you need. The noise level was good a few noisy guests walking past but you expect that. The location was great and you was close to all the amenities. The hotel staff were very friendly from start to finish and especially in the restaurant and morning service so professional and polite which made you feel comfortable.we had a meal in the restaurant which was top quality and value for money would highly recommend with a relaxed atmosphere.we would highly recommend a stay and kids would love the pitch view rooms we will definitely stay here again 10/10 and good customer service.
The location and the breakfast
Catalogue of issues with our stay and very disappointed considering the reputation that Radisson have. On arrival we were allocated an accessible room, which was not what we had booked. Room was tired and the wet room smelled of urine and the toiletries had not been filled up which I found out when in middle of shower! Only one towel for 2 guests another trip to reception. No tea spoons to make a tea/coffee. Put iron on to iron clothes and electric went out so had to iron clothes using a plug in the hallway. Reported electric to reception and was told it would be fixed for us getting back…..nope it wasn’t! Back to reception again. Not a good experience at all and I wouldn’t waste my money booking here again, which is such a shame. Definitely not a 4-star establishment!
The reception desk staff member was such a lovely polite person
Great location, breakfast usual stuff nothing out of the ordinary
