Reviewed Dec 6, 2019The hotel was good enough for what you pay for. Especially the room and bathroom was clean enough. However, the hotel receptionist was not friendly enough and not helpful both when I check in and check out. My girlfriend also mentioned about that how she felt. Apart from that, it is a good value hotel. Hopefully, the receptionist will be improved and more welcoming.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2019Everything was great except for the lighting. This will only be a problem for women/men if you need to put your makeup on. The room light is really dim and the window is somewhat blocked for privacy and doesn't let in light. Just be warned that most of the local hotels & motels in South Korea are like this.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2017It's located at Hwaseong, in the midst of Samsung office and residential area. We though it's nearby the Hwaswong Fortress but it's 30km away. By taxi it takes about US20-25 one way to the Fortress depends on traffic. From a tourist point of view, the distance is the only drawback. Otherwise, JS is a boutique hotel with unique design, good sized room and excellent service.

Reviewed Apr 22, 20171.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2015IIt was overall very nice and satisfactory stay for us. The pirce they charge seems to me reasonable when considering the below-mentioned strength of this hotel. It was very intriguing to see such a room configuration and structure that attracted us a lot. The toiletries were well-repared with high quality, which were enough to cover all we needed. The bed, blankets, linens and pillows were also qualities. I would just think that this hotel would be superb only if they could clean the room more comprehensively.
