Przesympatyczny gospodarz. Zawsze chętny pomóc, doradzić i zadbać, żeby niczego nie brakowało. Na duży plus również śniadania - jadłem w wersji angielskiej i były przepyszne. Lokalizacja również świetna. Z jednej strony blisko do plaży, z drugiej do sklepów i restauracji.

Great location. Duncan was very accommodating. Lovely breakfast and reasonably priced. Free parking for three cars on drive which is first come first serve basis but Free parking in road near by. Short walk to beach and town centre .

Duncan was such a gracious host. The breakfast was lovely, and you can tell he genuinely wants to make sure his guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay in Bournemouth. He was also very helpful in giving suggestions and advice on activities and places to visit, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was lovely, we enjoyed our stay there thank you! Maybe just a little more cleaning or dusting next time.

The communication from the owner Duncan was excellent. Upon arrival you could tell he puts his heart and soul into making people feel welcome and comfortable. He had thought of everything from shampoo and body wash should you forget your own, recycle bins, a great welcome pack and a breakfast option that rivals a Premier inn. He is a man than wants you to enjoy your stay and feel home from home.

Duncan was very welcoming and helped us direct us to the beach and for food the breakfast was outstanding will definitely come again. The room was spacious and the shower was again a great temperature.

Perfect for our couple of nights away. Ideal for walking to Bournemouth. Breakfast was lovely. Room was clean. Duncan gave us a recommendation to walk to Hengistbury Head which was an amazing way to see coastline.

Easy access, comfortable clean beds. The kids had their own room with the bunkbeds, which was great, as you can’t see that from the photos. Very spacious rooms. Shampoo and shower are on offer to use if needed be. Tea and coffee available in the room. Lovely simple English breakfast included, with a choice of continental breakfast and cereal for children. Nice freshly made coffee. They can only park 3 cars on the property, we were lucky and got a space, but you would have to look around for parking, that road is chockablock with other guest houses. So it can get busy if you are looking for a parking space. Duncan is a lovely host, very helpful, fast to respond to messages, as we arrived very late, as we came after our beach day. He made us feel welcomed. We only stayed a night,

Breakfast - servings of butter each morning not sufficient so consistently had to ask for more. Fruit for continental breakfast limited. Bathroom - no complimentary shampoo and shower gel and hand soap very low and could have been replaced.

I struggle with stairs and we were in the top rooms, so I struggled to climb the stairs.

Location is ideal if you fancy a casual stroll into the town. 4 mins in an uber if you don't. Duncan was very accommodating and breakfast was great.

Besonders hat uns die Lage gefallen, nah so wohl zur Innenstadt als auch zum Strand. Das Zimmer war groß mit einem sehr bequemen großen Boxspringbett. Duncan der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und präsent. Das Frühstück war ok.

There was a fan prepared to keep your room cool. There was fridge in a living room to use and the options at breakfest. Veg /meat lovers could fing there best. My ice pack being kept in the freezer for overnight , and there is more and more.

Nothing, it was a perfect place to stay.

Duncan is a charming host. The property is in a great location, between the town and the seaside. The parking spot is very handy. The whole house is tastefully decorated in neutral tones. My room was small (my choice) but so well designed that it has everything one could need. The bed is really comfy and there is spotless white bed linen and towels. Plenty of practical information and tourist tips, and even beach equipment to borrow, makes for an easy stay. I enjoyed the full English breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients (continental also available).

Duncan is een geweldige gastheer. Hij gaf ons goed bruikbare informatie over de omgeving en regelde iedere ochtend een super goed ontbijt. We voelden ons hier helemaal thuis.

Het Engelse ontbijt was top! Het strand (zand) was op loopafstand. en de host Duncan een aardige vent,

Wat gedoe rond de handdoeken werd weer opgelost. Maar toch een tip van onze kant. Aan het milieu denken is prima zaak. Maar de handdoeken slechts om de 2 nachten verschonen is schraal. dat doe je thuis ook niet. Beter zou zijn om normale handdoeken neer te leggen ipv die abnormale grote bad handdoeken die ook nog onhandig zijn. Spaart water en wasmiddel.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. All required amenities were there, coffee tea etc. Information regarding WiFi, shower, and timings were all available. Duncan was extremely helpful with late check in. Breakfast was very good and well cooked. Overall a very friendly place.

There was nothing outstanding that I didnt like.

The sunrise at 5 o’clock this morning and our bedroom was in full bright sunshine and all that is required is a blackout blind.

Handy location for me. It's central so if you don't walk far you may need public transport for town or South Bourne. Beach is a 5 min walk but uphill on the way back. Room 6 was spacious, clean and modern. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty, well cooked and offers value. Host was easy to talk to and helpful.

Host only on site at certain times means check in or bag drop off isn't really flexible. Shower a bit hit and miss temperature and power wise but it was a top floor room.

Great location - close to Boscombe Beach and Boscombe Pier. Also, only a couple of minutes walk to the O2 Academy. Duncan is a great host and makes a great full English breakfast.

Duncan was an excellent host with fantastic communication throughout. He was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful without ever being intrusive. I had to leave very early on Saturday morning before breakfast service, and he very kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for me, which was hugely appreciated. But the cooked breakfast on the Sunday was delicious and there was plenty of everything.

Honestly, very little to fault. The stay was comfortable, well organised and exactly what I needed for the weekend. The only thing that I missed was Earl Grey tea bags but I'm very confident that if I'd have asked Duncan, then he would have provided them - so no complaints there, that one's on me.

The Westby was a great place to stay as a base to sightsee around the Bournemouth area. Safe environment and parking for my vehicle ideal. Duncan was absolutely fantastic, and the breakfast was brilliant.

Duncan was a friendly host, the Westby is in a fantastic location for The O2 Academy where I was attending a concert. It is only a short walk to the local shops and Boscombe Pier and beach.

I was happy with everything.

Everything about this guesthouse was perfect.... The host is wonderful, the location is incredible, it's so peaceful and extremely relaxing and comfortable. There is a lovely dining area with a wonderful cooked breakfast available and a selection of cereals on offer. We will definitely return and would stay for several nights in future as there is so much to do . It is a 5 minute walk from the O2 Bournemouth, 5 minutes walk from Chaplins (a great night out and wonderful dinner) and an 8 minute walk from Boscombe Pier and beautiful beach. If you haven't got a car, it's walking distance from Pokesdown railway station. To top it all off we saw a seal off Boscombe Beach! We loved every second of our stay.

Duncan the owner made it, with his kind care and attention throughout. He went over and beyond to ensure our stay was the best. It was a perfect location for a gig at the O2.

Great location (5-10 mins walk to the beach), clean, good parking options, Fab breakfast (lovely cooked breakfast), really responsive and attentive host.

Duncan was very welcoming and helpful. As I arrived quite late on my first night (around 11 pm), he kindly contacted me in advance and explained clearly how to collect the key and complete the self check-in, which made everything very smooth and reassuring. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything I needed during my stay.

English breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice and good french press coffee… Room was neat and clean. And Duncan the host was excellent went out of his way to be of service. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the Westby, Duncan is really welcoming and friendly, breakfast was great, and the location is brilliant for shows at the o2. Would definitely stay again.

Very smooth and personalised check in times. Great eco system too! Breakfast included was lovely, not too big a portion.

Might’ve been an idea to prompt visitors to turn on radiator, especially as it was November.

Duncan was a really conscientious and lovely host who gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Chaplins Smokehouse - it was amazing!). We had a great freshly cooked breakfast, 3 mins walk to the O2 but still quiet. Lovely facilities and really clean. Would 100% come back and stay, particularly if we are going to the O2 again.

Attended a gig at the O2 and the Westby was the perfect stopover. Clean, comfortable and less than a 5 minute walk to the venue. Parking at the property was also a bonus. Duncan is a fantastic host, great communication and lots of advice about the local area. Cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in the area.
