Boss Palace Hotel

The lady at the front desk were friendly when we checked in. The car park attendant were very helpful with our hand luggage’s. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

There is no elevator to the restaurant at 8th floor that my elderly mum had to climb up the steps. There was also no direction in the lift to tell us that we had to take the lift to 7th to the restaurant.

Petit déjeuner compris (surtout salé Vietnamien évidemment). Différent chaque jour. Personnel présent et souriant. Possibilité d'acheter des boissons dans le hall d'accueil. Possibilité de laisser les sacs de voyage après le "Check-Out"

Situé à coté d'un bar "de nuit" qui, de 18 à 21h, joue de la musique Techno très présente, même fenêtre fermée.

Comfortable bed, good services with great buffet breakfast. I love the view and it near by district 1 which is the most recognizable place to vist if you in Saigon.

We love it plenty of places to eat around the neighborhood. Hotel was very new renovation like new, we have been this hotel for second time stayed and we will be back again when we next trip in Ho chi Minh City. It's a good service hotel, customer services at front desk are speak good English.

Female receptionist was lovely

Bathroom light faulty, toilet faulty, sink faulty. Room too small. Bath had to be filled using the shower as the tap was broken. Night staff tried to overcharge us. Massage service was by someone who wasn’t interested so a waste of money

I definitely recommend this hotel. The room and the staff all were above our expectations. The price is affordable and the location is convenient. The hotel definitely is totally worth it.

Good location, you can find everything easily around the hotel (ATM, food market, street food, restaurants, pharmacy...). For the first time, we got the free upgrade room and we were so happy with the room and facility in the room. Restaurant with super view, 360 degree to watch the city.

The breafast does not have too much choice and the food is nothing special.

This hotel is perfectly located near the market, which was great for trying local food. It's also on a quiet street, so it's not too noisy, but it's still easy to get a taxi. It's not too far from the tourist attractions either. We were upgraded to a new, renovated room, which was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. It's a great value for the price and the location is perfect.

Hot room weak air conditioning !! The A/C took forever to cool a small room.

Reasonable price & near lots of good street food

Budget hotel, old facilities. It seems it was much better in the past. Now it is all outdated and needs urgent refurbishment. Located in District 3, do not expect to see many foreigners or international business around.

Hotel was basic, but provided what we wanted. Room had 3 beds as requested, but apart from that not much space. Air Con didn't work when you left the room as you needed the key for this to work and only 1 key was provided, so when returning to your room it was very hot. Breakfast was simple but good. Location was good and quite central to most places. Staff great

Location is far from downtown need to ride a taxi. Staff are friendly. Room is small, aircon is not so cold, can hear the noise and cigarette smoke from other rooms. Food is terrible.

Hotel is just ok... Too noisy..staff is good...but Expedia not good.. I book 1 room with 2 adults but Expedia Change to 1 adult without my permission .. This time is second time Expedia did that to me..it is not nice and made me so uncomfortable .

(1) Room: I was happy to,hear that they 'uograded' me to a bigger room... I told the receptionist that I booked a suite, but she said I am uograded. I left it as it is. The bigger room is a triple-sharing room, and well, big perhaps meant more beds to her. On their hotel price, suite is 1.2 million per night, and triple-sharing is 1 million... So I am wondering is I am downgraded or uograded? (2) Lobby: the amount of incense burnt to the gods is almost like fumigation. Too strong for one to linger. (3) Breakfast: Simple pho for the first morning, but the music was blasted at ten minutes to 9am to signal to us to get out of the restaurant. Most unpleasant. There was no selection on Saturday. On Sunday, we have a mini-buffet spr as. (4) Noise: I am a light-sleeper and was happy when I couldn't hear much of the street traffic... But the chambermaids packed themselves just outside our door and chatting away at 6:30am is annoying. (5) Wi-fi - Signal is weak or not detected despite the hotel is in a low season. (6) Massage - the 24 hours with a dim facade, and attending staff who couldn't explain what does the pricing encompassed kept me away. I chose Boss because of the positive experience I had at Boss Hanoi. But perhaps they are unrelated, as the hotel decor, service and breakfast is so vastly different. The other reason is it's proximity to my meetings. Will I choose Boss again? If I have a better choice of a nearby hotel, then definitely no.
