Sunset Destination Hostel

The hostel was an excellent choice for my 6-night trip to Lisbon. I chose a room with 4 beds and a private bathroom. The location was perfect — close to the metro station, city centre, and all major public transportation options. There is also a supermarket nearby, where I usually had breakfast and bought some groceries. The staff were very kind, friendly, and always willing to help. It’s a brilliant hostel. Great location, staff, bathrooms are clean! Beds are super comfy. The staff were great. The walking tour was brilliant and the bar crawl was muchos fun!

Lo mejor, la ubicación. Queda en la estación de tren, o sea que no vas a encontrar otro lugar más cerca. Si viajas desde/hacia otros lugares como Estoril, Cascais... es perfecto. Tienen opción de dejar el equipaje en la consigna, así que si llegas antes del checkin o te vas más tarde del checkout, puedes dejar tus cosas, dar un paseo y luego recogerlas. La habitación no es muy ruidosa (salvo que te toquen compañeros ruidosos, pero eso ya no es culpa del alojamiento). Eso sí, importante: hay que cerrar la ventana. Si duermes con la ventana abierta, tipo 6:30-7:00 am se empiezan a escuchar los anuncios de la estación de tren... Tienen una terracita arriba, que no está mal. Tienen cocina, nevera, etc... pero por lo grande del hostal, siempre hay gente, está todo muy lleno, algo desordenado... así que no usé nada de esto.

El colchón me pareció algo incómodo (tenía muelles saltados) y la estructura de la cama en sí tenía ya sus años... (me quedé en una litera inferior y cada vez que se movía la persona de arriba crujía y temblaba todo). Creo que esto es un mal de muchos hostales, pero durante el día ponen aire acondicionado a tope en la habitación y es super incómodo estar en el cuarto. Había leído lo de los baños en algunos comentarios y es cierto: baños muy pequeños (en mi zona había apenas 2 WC y 2 duchas, unisex). Había una ducha más privada (tienes que tener suerte de que esté disponible).

Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the hostel, although the early-morning noise from the streets was sometimes disturbing.

Excelente funcionários! A receção contava com pessoas mesmo queridas, o pub crawling e o karaoke foram cheios de energia e pessoas incríveis, e a piscina tem uma vista perfeita. Muito bem localizado, clean e excelente para quem está em busca de socializar e conhecer Lisboa de uma maneira diferente.

Rooftop pool was amazing as a way to cool down! Room and kitchen were clean.

Amazing Hostel, has everything you want as a solo traveller. Constant stream of actives hosted by the hostel which was ideal for meeting new people that you could then go and do other things with.

It's directly in the downtown. If you like to party, it's ideal. Close to bars. Someone at the reception 24 hours a day. Really clean. The rooftop is incredible with the pool and the beautiful view of the water. The bar and the people are amazing.

The beds in the dormitories are quite complicated. When you are at the top, there are only small wooden squares to climb. We hear the calls from the metro and the metro early in the morning and late in the evening! The air conditioning to work only the last night. It was very hot the other days but in Portugal it's normal. The showers in the bedrooms are really small but it is still accessible, otherwise there are bathrooms with shower in the passages, much more comfortable. Towels are 3€.

Adorei o cheiro a limpo quando entrei no quarto, a localização e as facilidades da cozinha que é enorme! A localização é boa para quem como eu usa os transportes para ir ao festival, porque fica mesmo na estação.

Não gostei dos hóspedes, sujaram tudo, foi extremamente desconfortável, felizmente as senhoras limpam todos os dias e a casa de banho estava melhor no dia seguinte, mas é preciso ter em comta que quando há muita gente fica bem sujo.

Lo mejor del alojamiento es la ubicación! Está cerca a todo y a la estación, el personal muy amable, los baños algo pequeños pero muy limpios. Tienen actividades grupales lo cual te hace conocer personas y pasarla bien.

Posizione perfetta. Staff super simpatico e gentile, sempre disposto ad aiutarti. Organizzano molte attività per farti conoscere persone lo raccomando assolutamente.

The location was perfect. It was in the city centre and close to the most point anywhere special. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was really clean. If I have a chance to stay in Lisbon, I would definitely to choose this hostel.

O ar condicionado do quarto não funcionava quando você queria. Tinha uma programação de horários e não dava conta do calor do verão europeu. Você só tem controle sobre o ventilador e eu escolhi essa acomodação justamente por ter ar condicionado e piscina.

Fantastic location right by the river. It is literally on top of the Station . Buses and ferries were reachable in seconds, regional train is downstairs. Staff was a bunch of cool people. Helpful and approachable. I can't thank enough for the private room upgrade on my arrival instead of doorm stay what i booked. There's a rooftop pool with the most amazing view of the bridge and the Christ. Punk music and amazing vibes all through. Can't recommend enough❤️❤️❤️ This place really exceeded my expectations. The AC was set on fixed temperature and we couldn't touch it. I would prefer to cool it more but it's ok, was not a big bother.

Superb location with city center and all the transports close by, lots of food options in the area.

At night it can get a bit loudy from the street and the hallways. The privacy curtains on beds are a nice touch, but they are quite transparent so the light gets through.

El personal era muy atento y amable. La habitación estaba muy bien. Y aunque estuvimos dos días nos hicieron el cuarto. El aire funcionaba perfecto y estábamos cómodas. El desayuno también fue un plus. La terraza y su vista también muy lindas.

Que el baño esté fuera de la habitación, sería mejor elegir la opción con baño privado. Aunque limpiaban re seguido no todos los huéspedes cuidan a mi me resultó incómodo.

Klima çalışmadı 3 gün son gün portatif klima getirildi kısmen mağdur olduk ama napalım ? Havuzada gireriz dedik odayı tutarken fakat ayağımı sokmayacağım kadar kirliydi. Dünya kupası arjantin cezayir maçında maçı bırak izlemeyi antremanı bile izletmeden 10.30 da bardaki arkadaşlar tv yi kapattı . İlginç geldi tavırlar sıcak değildi .

Great location, you can take the train, bus, and even boat if you want to. The staff had a variety of great experiences and activities.

In the photos the room looks gorgeous, but when I arrived the outside of the bed needed a bit of paint, that’s the only thing, everything else was fine

The staff were amazing. The most welcoming and helpful I've ever seen. Pedro, Ines and Ness thank you for giving me the feeling asif I was at my own home. The location is great. the design and everything looks cute.

Since it is on top of the metro station and we had to open the windows during night to get some air, it was noisy. If the AC works better, I guess that wouldnt be much of a problem.

Excellent ubication

Great place. Nice large common room. Does have a pool and bar. The room I had was air conditioned. But the weather cooled down so make it redundant. Staff were great. Best place I've stayed in since I got here. Close to transportation and lots of restaurants.

Had to continually turn the air on as others would shut it off not lower it. When I lower it they left it alone. Hard to find. Door is in the side of the building with very little signage to let you know where it is. Would be nice not to come and go to the smell of piss. How hard would be to throw a couple of buckets of water out there?

Schön war der Pool und die Dachterasse

Als ich den 2. Tage von dem Pool vom Baden wieder kam, war plötzlich mein Bett gemacht und all meine persönlichen Sachen verschwunden. Ich stand also nur mit Bikini und meinem umgebundenen Handtuch da. Ich musste zu Rezeption gehen und habe gefragt wo meine persönlichen Sachen sind. Die Frau schaute mich verwundert an und konnte mich garnicht in dem Zimmer finden in dem ich seit 2 Nächten schlief und auch vom Personal selbst hingebracht wurde. Nach langen Suchen im PC wurde sie fündig, ich wurde in das falsche Zimmer gesteckt und deswegen wurde mein Bett auch leer geräumt. Das Problem war das, dass alles ab 16 Uhr passierte und ich um 17Uhr einen Termin hatte und mir dieeHaare noch waschen musste und mit meinem ganzen Zeug in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln musste. Alle meine persönlichen Sachen die gefehlt haben ( Reisepass, Apple Watch, AirPods usw.) lagen in einem Müll Beutel ungesichert bei der Rezeption das ist ein Eingriff in die Privatsphäre.

Super Lage super Pool!

Das Bad geht gar nicht, WC Deckel kaputt. Man kann sich in dem bag / WC kaum umdrehen. Klima hat nicht funktioniert daher sehr laut bei offenem Fenster. Viel zu klein

the property was really lovely! the location of the hostel was amazing and the staff were even better! the roof top was great for sitting at and everything was clean!

only thing i can say is that my bed didn’t have a fan, but the staff sorted it out for me!

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. They have great signages everywhere, the location is just perfect - it can't get better than this!! Staff is friendly - Ness was great to suggest sights and think along. Definitely coming back next time I am in Lisbon!

Nothing in particular. The location is close to a happening square. So music can be on in the evenings. But its not ongoing until a very late time. So its manageable

Algo ruidoso

The hostel is in an excellent location—it's directly connected to the train and metro station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Lisbon and beyond. It's also close to several bus stops and within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions. One of my favorite things was being just steps away from the waterfront along the Tagus River, where you can grab food or a drink from one of the kiosks and enjoy the views of the river and the 25 de Abril Bridge. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. I stayed in an all-female dorm, which had its own ensuite bathroom with a hairdryer, which was a nice touch. I also really liked that access to the rooms was via a code instead of a key or key card, so there was no need to worry about losing it. The rooftop terrace and pool made for a great place to relax.

The only downside for me was the laundry service. The staff handle the washing and drying rather than guests doing it themselves. Unfortunately, my clothes were left sitting wet in the washing machine overnight and had to be washed again because they had developed a damp smell. The hostel kindly didn't charge me for the second wash, which I appreciated, but I personally would have preferred to be able to do my own laundry. I understand they likely have their reasons for managing it themselves, but having that option would have made the experience better for me.

Tolles Hostel, besonders die Lage und der Rooftop mit Pool sind sehr zu empfehlen! Das Personal ist auch super nett und man fühlt sich direkt zuhause. Man findet schnell Anschluss!

Aufgrund der Nähe zum Bahnhof ist es laut, auch nachts wenn man im Dorm das Fenster offen lässt. Aber leiser als im Rest der Innenstadt.

O Hostel tem um ótimo custo-benefício. A localização é ótima, as instalações são boas. Os funcionários são simpáticos e prestativos. No hostel também tem programação de atividades durante todos os dias para os hóspedes.

Pedro and Ines (staff) were incredibly kind, as were all of the team members here! The location is great, by the water with many views, connected to the train station and right by many attractions, restaurants, and walkable areas. This was my first hostel stay ever, and it'll be the reason I stay at hostels again in the future.

The partying in this area (outside of the hostel) can go quite late into the night and into the morning. There is always music playing, which is pleasant but can get tiring. It's worth considering. This isn't the place for you if you want a quiet stay, but then again, who is going to Lisbon for that?

Tiene piscina, está bien comunicado, es grande, hace eventos tipo conciertos. La cocina es grande y parece limpio.

Las instalaciones están un poco gastadas. Podrían ponerle un poquito de amor. Las sábanas estaban limpias pero el edredón se veía amarillo y con necesitas de lavado. Las instalaciones de mi habitación (4camas mix) necesitaban un poco de amor. Solo salía agua caliente del lavabo (en verano). No avisan cuando cierran la piscina para eventos, por lo que no pude disfrutarla todo lo que quisiera.

O hostel é muito limpo e organizado, e de facil acesso a varios pontos da cidade. O Pedro e a Ness foram excelentes anfitriões, do inicio ao fim da estadia.

J’ai aimé l’emplacement ainsi que la propreté et le conforte des lits. Le personnel est très gentil.

Parfois les chambres sont un peu bruyantes mais c’est très raisonnable

Friendly staff, huge kitchen diner space & a nice spot to chill after the day up on the rooftop terrace with its cute lil infinity pool & bar. The showers were real good and I feel that if you book out a room for say 6 people the you’re more likely to get one of the better rooms in the building. Makes sense - I was in the shabbiest room but it was still ok.

Not much it’s a treat to stay somewhere that’s so interesting and full of character & affordable. Lisbon is chill AF & the atmosphere is electric!!

The bathrooms are too small and cramped. I’m not a big dude but for bigger people a smaller dorm will be difficult.

A great atmosphere, lots of activities, and cosy rooms that still give you a sense of privacy thanks to the curtains. The location right next to the station is fantastic, and the rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view. Special shout‑out to the amazing host Inês!

Требует обновления, особенно душевые и туалеты. Шторки у кроватей закрываются не полностью. Кондиционер был переносной который стоял в комнате и гудел когда работал, окно было открыто, а рядом ночная жизнь, клуб, бары и слышно было достаточно хорошо. Отель сам расположен в здание вокзала, поэтому с утра уже можно слышать объявления поездов.
