Clico Boutique Hotel

Small, friendly hotel with great food and lovely staff in Rosebank. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Convenient to have a good dinner option if you don’t want to be out after dark.

Nothing important.

Friendly staff. Good location

A little dated, facilities need updating. Food average

Good location in Rosebank. Friendly Staff and good restaurant - comfortable stay and can be recommended.

The TV channels are very limited.

Enough towels in the room

Cold sheets

Great staff add to what is very good boutique hotel in an excellent location

The friendliness and.efficiency of the staff

Area by the pool needs to be worked on.

O Clico Boutique Hotel superou todas as minhas expectativas!

On our return visit (2nd stay), Hendrick the security guard greeted us by name and was genuinely pleased to welcome us back. Throughout our stay, Hendrick provided good safe practice advice and ensured we felt comfortable around the area. Nozi and Zodkia at Reception assisted us with booking activities and also gave excellent advice and service. We enjoyed delicious meals and great breakfasts in the hotel Restaurant, led by Sbu and his Team Matt, John, Nonceba and the Chefs. The overall atmosphere was homely and inviting. Our experience was enhanced by the interest and smiles of the entire Staff.

Staff made us feel welcome. Thank you 😊 🙏 the rooms were adequately furnished with a good size bathroom. Towels were refreshed daily. The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed dinner on our first night. We liked it so much we, rebooked for our return to Johannesburg from our trip to Zimbabwe.

Very friendly staff. Easy check in. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Overall great experience.

Location is great but could have a little better signposting

Breakfast was ok but not up to standard of the hotel generally for car access

Muito confortável

Tudo foi perfeito, café da manhã espetacular

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptional. Very comfortable, access to the pool right from the room.

It’s within walking distance from Rosebank Mall, but you need to walk 10 minutes to get to any shops or coffee shops.

Good hotel, central location in Rosebank nearby Gautrain.

Easy to miss the entrance (is hidden) next to the other hotel (Mint Hotel). Parking area small.

Very calm place no noise. Full dstv, good location

The signage is poor mint hotel easy to pick and also being in one way confuses to find it Update tvs to smart tvs for netflix eyc

The hotel was close to galleries staff were really friendly and helpful and the food breakfast and dinner was exceptional

Beautiful room and garden and pool, very nice staff. Great restaurant next door.

Compared to the diner we had the night before in the same restaurant, the breakfast was not great…

Cosy, the bed was the best ever, food and breaky was amazing. Staff etc too.

Location is great and what a wonderful staff… nothing is too much trouble and all done with a broad smile

Lovely room but needs a bit of maintenance attention. A number of small quick fixes will take the level back to where it should be.

The price was good. The staff was friendly and helpful

The room was small

The room and breakfast soo yummy

I like everything

It’s a hotel but it feels cozy. The location is also great for getting around.

The breakfast room/restaurant area is cold. While the staff is great, the invisible chef lets the team down. Breakfast isn’t very well catered for. If you go to breakfast after 9 they might not have options that are on the menu. First it was avo then a type of bread, then the fruit has run out. Also the menu is too rigid. Someone shouldn’t have to choose between oats and eggs if they want both. It’s annoying. This was my second visit and I don’t remember this being a problem previously. There could be signs downstairs for people to keep their voices down because of the rooms downstairs.

Loved the people, Mat, Zodwa, Grace and the guard.

Would have loved an electric blanket.

Loved this property. Great location, walking distance to a big mall, hospital was down the street.

Nothing

Rien

I did not even stay there so how can you ask me to rate you

RAS

Staff were excellent, very nice and helpful. Great location, close to restaurants and a shopping mall. Room was very nice as well

Nothing

Particularly the restaurant! The food coming out of that kitchen is AMAZING!! We had 4 meals and each of them was something to write home about. The staff are super friendly too.

The room's bathroom is unpleasant and needs a lot of attention and maintenance - a real pity since everything else was outstanding.

Staff were great!

The staff were amazingly like and helpful. The facilities are well maintained. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.

Nothing everything was great

L’établissement est bien placé et comfortable. Petit-déjeuner copieux et excellent. Personnel adorable et chaleureux

Rien à signaler.

I had my supper at the restaurant and it was 10/10!!!

The place needs a makeover

The restaurant was the highlight, nice and cosy, food was good. There were interesting menu options and we enjoyed the choices we went with.

The facilities had deteriorated since my last visit. The room decor was dated, aircon let out a stale smell, shower had grime in tile grooves, etc. Also poolside umbrella was damaged.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Rosebank...large, clean room, including bathroom...the room has direct access to the pool via a private door with a table for relaxing outside...excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant...recommended

nothing

Good breakfast

TV did not work Overall room seemed a bit dated and needed a refresh Towels seemed very old.

Great location. Great staff .great food

Nothing really. A little aged but overall real good

The hotel is lovely and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food at breakfast was amazing. We dined in the restaurant twice and absolutely loved the food. The staff were super helpful and arranged our transfer no problem and even did a breakfast box for us for an early start.

L’emplacement

Manque des lumière de chevet

Comfortable, small and good location.

Personale molto gentile. Mi sono sentito al sicuro. Letti comodi e posizione tranquilla.

Colazione un po’ modesta. Ci vorrebbero piu’ dolci freschi, salumi, ecc.

Location. Spacious rooms

It needs a bit of renovation

Clean and tidy and beautiful

Nothing - all great

Peggy's responses on Booking.com were prompt and the hotel transfer requested went so smooth. The staff were very helpful and kind during my stay as well. The hotel is located close to lots of amenities which is such a plus, alot of things are only a short walking distance away. The cozy little pool is a nice touch especially for anyone who doesn't mind water regardless of the weather😊

Nada a declarar

Really needs some work

Is clear and room spacious

None

Nice rooms, super flexible and a good breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere

Comfy bed

Room smelled unpleasant, and it did not appear and feel clean. Very small shower.

I LOVE that they remember my name and they are always so super friendly.

There is nothing to complain about.

Small hotel with a personal service

Comfortable, quiet, excellent food & service

Pool was dirty and unheated - unusable

Nice boutique hotel, more personal than the big hotels. The room was very comfortable, the staff was always very caring to us. As example they provided us a carry on breakfast on the checkout day when we left by 5:30 for a safari tour, we were not expecting that. The location is great, very close to the central area of Rosenbank with its nice restaurants and shops.

Staff was excellent

Need some general upkeap. Paint, loose fittings, skew shelves

rien

Its all very nice - but feel like the courtyard could do with some grass - even astroturf rather thna concrete ,maybe?

No complaints. Very pleasant and convenient

Lovely staff, cute small hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights and returned for another 2 at the end of Safari. We booked for 2 nights, got confirmation email a couple of days before confirming 2 nights for us and our daughter and grandchildren ( 2 rooms, 1 family and 1 double) Arrived after a very long journey exhausted, went to check in and was told our booking was for one day not two and was for the next day! We showed them confirmation email they had sent me for the 2 nights. The receptionist was worried and made some calls she didn't know how that could have happened. We were told to go and enjoy a drink in the garden with the children. Long story they found 2 rooms both doubles and had to put fold out bed in one room for the grandchild. We were told they would move us the following day to our reserved rooms, which they did. The receptionist approached us and said they would like to offer us a $50 AUD discount off our account at the end of our stay. We were grateful for that. When we checked out they did remove $50 however they charged us for the drinks that were offered to us while they sorted their booking error. Be careful when booking, phone or email to confirm room!

Clean room, delicious breakfast and excellent customer care

Very attentive staff, excellent restaurant and calm atmosphere.
