Holiday Inn Johannesburg-Rosebank by IHG

Room amenities and the location. Proximity to the mall

Nothing

Good breakfast available and excellent location, just outside the train from the airport

The facilities were regular, noisy room

All spot on

Restaurant dinner but addressed amicably by the manager

Location is perfect for tourists.

Bed comfort bit less than expected.

Great and safe location with all the services you need within short walk away. Also Gautrain station is right outside. Rooms were comfortable and had good amenities.

Cleaning could be bit better, there were hair on the tub and stains on the sheets.

EXCELLENT LOCATION! WILL DEFINITELY BOOK HOLIDAY INN ON ANY FUTURE TRAVEL. ALWAYS HAPPY .

NOTHING - EVERYTHING TOP NOTCH

Location, very convenient and connected to the mall

Our second room was very stuffy and could not open any windows as it was on the top floor.

Very good location in a safe neighborhood. Good breakfast.

The location is perfect easyto move around. The room was clean and their buffet is diverse. The staff was helpful, I will surely return

The room was excellent and the location was very convenient

Nothing

Very central and easy accessible. Just the perfect location in Rosebank

The room was stuffy, they did bring an air purifier which helped but this was 2 days before we checked out.

Inam at reception was very helpful which made our stay even better. Breakfast good and close to everything.

Mattress on bed not goof

Location location location. Gautrain and rosebank mall.

It's just a standard 3 star Hotel. Nothing special, nothing bad. Worth the affordable rate. Elevator (lift) didn't work when we were checking out, but that happens and they had people on the way to fix it, so cant really blame them for it.

Hotel bem localizado.

Breakfast and stuff was friendly

nothing

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel in the last two years and it continues to be top class. The staff especially make your stay memorable - from the warm greeting on arrival to the amazing breakfast room team - a special call out to Grace for the lovely muffins, as well as Thulani and Palesa for their constant smiles. The room was big and very comfortable, with a high standard of cleanliness. The location is great, being directly connected to a major mall with many great food options. It is right next to the underground station and on a main road for easy Uber pickups Well stay here again!

he overall experience was lovely, from the front desk staff to the security team. Everyone was so friendly, always had a smile on their face, and went the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant and for accommodating my late check-out, especially when the hotel was fully booked. I really appreciated the exceptional service and hospitality!

Proximity to the shopping Mall. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

L’accueil

Room is clean and huge, very near to the mall. Staffs are kind and helpful.

Nothing at all.

Excellent Breakfast

Room a bit spartan.

The location is parted just near the mall

Unfortunately, our experience with Holiday Inn Rosebank was extremely poor, as we did not actually get to stay at the hotel. We booked our accommodation approximately nine months in advance and had a confirmed reservation for our stay. Despite this, Holiday Inn cancelled our reservation in error shortly before our arrival. Although we were advised that alternative accommodation would be arranged, we struggled to obtain any confirmation despite numerous follow-ups, leaving us extremely concerned the day before we were due to fly to Johannesburg. Thankfully, Booking.com ultimately stepped in and resolved the situation for us, arranging alternative accommodation at the Royal Majestic Hotel Rosebank. The Royal Majestic was excellent in all aspects, and we were extremely happy with our stay there. We are very grateful to Booking.com for ensuring that what could have been a very stressful start to our trip was ultimately resolved. Unfortunately, however, our experience with Holiday Inn Rosebank itself was very disappointing, particularly considering how far in advance we had booked and that the cancellation resulted from an error on the hotel's side

Wifi

Lovely safe area

Very good location to explore and enjoy joburg

Everything was good for me

Location

1- house keeping do not like to add water bottles to my room 2- WiFi was very week and unstable 3- the staff at the reception were not friendly 4- I arrived at 11 AM and my room was available but the reception charged me 500 ZR for early check in and ignored that I was traveling 9 hours to reach Johannesburg

The clean bedroom, good breakfast and Enam at reception.

The airport shuttle that was 3 times the cost of Uber and arrived late. Poor room service. The food, when it did arrive was tasty.

Good breakfast, dinner. Majority of staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful

Poor communication regarding airport transfer and day trips

The property was nice and clean and the room was spacious

Location

Aircon not working. Tgey said someone will come next day, never anyone came or said anything. Pictures on booking.com are not the same as the actual room. There is always noise in the room, either from outside or from the walls. I believe this hotel needs a bit of update.

Alles!

Alles was prima!

Great location adjacent to shopping mall and hop on hop off bus out front. Breakfast buffet was great

Room had recently been painted so there was the smell of paint

The location was perfect. The hotel was close to the train station and close to the mall where there are several restaurants and shops.

The hot water is the shower was warm at best

Great location, with a connection to the Rosebank Mall from the inside, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast

Friendly staff and clean hotel

User friendly, spotless restaurant and bar facilities

Lovely friendly staff. Very nice restaurant.

Nothing to dislike.

Wonderful location in Rosebank; the hotel is right next to a mall and a variety of wonderful restaurants. It is just a few steps from the train station. Perfect for getting to and from the International airport. The service was exceptional, and their breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had when traveling abroad.

Staff cordiale, camere pulite e spaziose. colazione molto varia.

O hotel é bom, bem localizado e a equipe é atenciosa e prestativa.

Exceptional. The staff was so friendly especially at the reception and they even allowed us early check in and late check out. The breakfast was 😍 It's just a walk away from the Rosebank mall and a lot of restaurants which was very convenient.

Nothing

It was relaxed and convenient

Front desk were a ;little bit brusque

Location and staff

Elevator occasionally out of service.

Location

Good location next to shopping mall and train station. Good staff and facilities, excellent breakfast.

Great location super friendly staff

None

The location feels safe, there is direct access into Rosebank Mall, with good shopping and eating options. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of fresh fruit and freshly cooked eggs. The hotel arranged efficient transfers to and fro from the airport. This was our second stay at this hotel during our trip.

There was a connecting door to the neighbouring room which allow sound to transfer between rooms. The shower screen leaked.

It's very close and links to the Shopping Mall Super working lifts

The Foood

Theres was pods buy no coffee machine.

Das die Einkaufsmall direkt angeschlossen war und der Hop on - Hop off Bus direkt vor dem Eingang hielt war super. Sehr gutes Essen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

The staff is really nice and helped us a lot! Same day cleaning service. Room was big and very clean. Great location.

They don't have a lot of breakfast options for celiacs. The gluten free bread touched the normal bread, which doesn't make it safe to eat anymore for celiacs or people with a gluten allergy.

The direct access to the mall is great. It is a very short walk to the outdoor restaurant section of the mall which has many options for lunch or dinner.

The air conditioner in the room did not seem to work very well. We had a shower over a bath which I did not realise when booking.

Customer service was excellent.

Nothing

The easy mall access

The room was a little too small

Very comfortable. The staff were all so lovely. But the ultimate benefit of staying here is the super convenient location. It's literally attached to the Zone @ Rosebank mall, so you can get to and from without having to go outside. Also saves you having to drive or Uber around, as there are lots of places to eat and things to do right there. I will absolutely stay here again.

The location with direct access to the Shopping Mall, the breakfast and all the staff

A localização anexa ao Shopping e no bairro seguro , fizeram toda a diferença

Recepão pequena, acaba ficando cheia e confusa em alguns momentos

Lovely Breakfast. Comfy beds. Super close to the mall with secure private access.

Booking.com mixed up my booking. I paid for a king room, however, the hotel stated otherwise. I showed my receipt but the way Booking.com managed the booking on the back end meant we ending up in a Queen room instead. This wasn't the hotels fault, they showed me the booking. Just can't trust Booking.com- I've had 4 bookings go wrong recently. Won't use booking.com again.

The location is great right next to a shopping centre

There is no bidet in the toilet. The shower area is not well separated from the dry area and cause the dry area to be wet

Det var ett bra läge.

Inget speciellt.

~Conveniently located with access to the mall that connects to Rosebank Mall ~Clean Rooms, Clean Linen ~Good Breakfast ~Excellent Staff

Perfect location to explore Josey specially for first timers… hop on hop off literally at doorstep.. decent breakfast spread… superb staff, always smiling and ready to help. Hotel interconnected to mall.

Nothing

The hotel was clean and nice, location was amazing and most importantly the staff was superb❤️

Receptionist friendliness

Beds should be changed to big comfy beds

Good safe location, value for money. The bar and breakfast place awesome.

A bit dated.

Nice hotel, good breakfast and nice restaurant for evening meal. Very handy having direct access to the Mall from the hotel

Our room overlooked air conditioning outlets and was very noisy all night making it difficult to sleep. Not keen on the glass door into the bathroom either. May be better to book direct as the price we actually paid at the hotel was actually higher than the price we should have paid according to our booking in booking.com

Great value. Fantastic location. Deliscious breakfast. Great staff and facilities.

Delicious breakfast Excellent location

Close to the mall, friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast.

No fridge in the room.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, safety and convenient location direct access to a very good shopping mall.

Queen beds a bit small and furniture out dated

Well maintained

Too far from the airport
