Отзывчивый персонал, нам помогали с нашими проблемами даже ночью
В номере есть только чайник, но даже чашек нет((
I was very surprised when I received a message from the hotel saying that my reservation was canceled.
They upgraded my room to a Suite, and it was an awesome stay. Everything was great.
Room, food and hotel
The staff were very welcoming and kind and I was upgraded upon arrival as I was visibly unwell and had to wait some time while a tour group checked in. The room was exceptional.
The location was problematic you would need to get a taxi approx 20-30 minutes to get to the main tourism areas of Lhasa. I stayed on my last evening and didn’t need to go into town so this didn’t impact me and I was able to enjoy the hotel. The buffet could incorporate some more vegetarian options.
This hotel is amazing. It is extremely beautiful, comfortable, accommodating and luxurious. I would not stay anywhere else in Lhasa. It totally exceeded my expectations. The size of the room is much bigger than an average hotel room. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. The staff is welcoming and is ready to fulfill your every wish. The best stay ever!
Lobby was ice cold even staff complained about how cold the lobby is. Staff Vicki and Justin were amazing staffs who attended to my questions and provided assistance.
Hotel is marvelous, receptionists are warm hearted, room is clean and comfortable, staff joyful, nature is beautiful, the hotel is very neat and the meals are yummy and fantastic We enjoyed it a lot and it is what it says ,,paradise” we recommend it if you go to Tibet and Tibetan culture is interesting Tibetan people are very friendly❤️❤️👍👍😍😍🥰🥰
You’d think you just entered an airport terminal. The entrance is cold and impersonal, way too big with no clear indication of where the reception is. Of course, no one speaks English. Not that big of a deal, but I’ve never stayed at an intercontinental without English speaking staff. To get to my room, i finished my steps for the day, probably 1km 🤣. The room smelled like smoke and sewage. Not fun when the temperature was also way too hot and there was no way to control the thermostat. Did I mention how far out of town this place is? Ugh, it took over an hour to get to from the train station. If you’re here for pleasure, do not stay here, you will regret it. Not sure how they have the rating they do. Must be staff ratings.
Not as stated on the website, limited restaurants, no fitness, no swimming pool, no ATM, no English speaking (or willingness to use translations). Information at Hotel is also incorrect, stating facilities not available
We stayed in the Intercontinental Lhasa during the May Day holidays. The hotel is large and the rooms are big and comfortable. This hotel caters mainly to large local tour groups. The service too is oriented towards large local tour groups. The check-in, because we were foreigners, took time. The walk to the room is long, made difficult, because of the thick carpets, which make rolling your luggage a real effort. There is no room service menu in the rooms. So ordering room service involves calling room service, asking then to send someone with a menu. We QR code (微信) does not work. The location of the hotel is away from the main city and away from the attractions.
胡杨经理非常好,服务很好,安排的很妥当。 让行程更加顺畅舒服
It’s uniqueness is the ambiance provided by the Staff and Facilities. Really feels like staying at a Palace.
This hotel was designed with classic Tibet castle. The lobby was impressive. I received a room upgrade to an executive room which was luxurious and comfortable by oxygen supply in 24 hours. Thanks to the attentive arrangement from guest relation manager Molly . Breakfast buffet with great services provided a variety of local and western cuisines.
We stayed at Intercontinental Lhasa Paradise for one night on 2 October. Initially we had pretty high expectation as this is an international hotel brand and we stayed there once, but it proved us wrong. We checked in at the reception at around 2:50pm and the receptionist offered us to just leave our luggages at the place where they were (which was right in front of the reception table and where guests would line up there for check-in and check-out) and said he would request a bell-boy to send our luggages (3 in total) to our room. We then left our luggages, and looked at the receptionist and asked if he was really sure that we could just leave our luggages there. He reassured us, so we headed to our room for freshening up. When we got to the hotel room, we found that there were no slippers. We called concierge for two pairs of slippers. Concierge replied saying that it was impossible for the slippers to be missing and said they would send housekeeping to send us two pairs of slippers regardless and asked the housekeeper to point to us where the slippers were supposed to be located. The concierge sounded as if we made a mistake. When the housekeeper came in, she knew that there were no slippers initially placed in the room so she did not say anything and helped us with the humidifier instead. After we got refreshed, we realised it was already 20 minutes since check-in and our luggages hadn't yet arrived. We called concierge again and they said they would check with the reception. Another 10 minutes passed, there was no news so we called concierge again and they asked which luggages were we talking about. We started feel worried that they might have sent our luggages to the wrong room given we had our clothes, two laptops and an iPad as well as necessary medication in those luggages. At that moment, our instinct told us that something went wrong so I decided to head down to the reception while my husband stayed in the room to see whether the luggages would arrive when I got down. When I got to the reception hall, I realised that the three luggages were still at the same spot where the receptionist asked us to leave. So basically that means for the last 30/40 minutes, no hotel staff bothered taking care of our luggages. I questioned the same receptionist who helped us with the check-in and he simply pushed the responsibility to the bell-boy team. Finally, a bell-boy arrived and accompanied me to send the three luggages back to our room. On the way, I asked the bell boy if someone ever requested his team to help us with the luggages. And he helplessly shocked his head and said he was just being requested by the concierge to go to the reception area and help send the luggages. When I got back to the room, I immediately called the concierge again and complained. The manager called back and offered to provide us with fruit platter and free happy hour. Honestly, all we wanted were not "freebies". For the fruit platter, they gave us one the last time we stayed there as I am an IHG member, so we were more curious why there wasn't one in the first place. As for the free drinks, we don't drink anyways. The core issue is that they had wasted our 40 minutes of waiting and we were so late for our next appointment and almost couldn't make it. Another bad incident was that the moment when we woke up and left the bed, we saw something walking on the bed. When we looked closer it was an insect which looked like a cockroach or something. Our first instinct was to get rid of it so as to prevent it from flying to our opened luggages. So we wrapped it into a piece of paper and flushed it. Then we immediately packed our luggages and left the room as we were in a rush to one of the temples. When we went back to the reception area for check-out, we mentioned the insect incident to the receptionist (another male receptionist), showed him the photo and a video of it on the bed. The receptionist just responded by saying "Oh...we can send someone to have a look. Please wait." I then said we clearly mentioned that we already got rid of it and flushed it to the toilet and whether there was a point of waiting. He then said "Oh...since you have returned your key cards, you have been checked out and you are free to go." So there was not even a single apology. Ironically for a short moment, I did think that perhaps he would escalate that to the housekeeping or management and someone would call me to apologies. Apparently I was wrong. It is unbelievable that an international hotel brand would provide such kind of service to its guests. We are highly skeptical about the training the staff were given. Originally we planned to stay for extra two nights at this hotel but with such a huge disappointment, we decided to continue to stick with our original accommodation plan. If we would ever go to Lhasa again, this hotel would not be our choice ever again. We would also seriously consider if we should ever stay at hotels under this brand.
Thank you to all of the amazing staff at Lhasa InterContinental. The hotel is the best InterContinental hotel we have ever stayed at. We highly recommend the hotel for your stay in Lhasa. A paradise in Tibet
This is an impressive hotel to look at but not so good to stay there. It is far too vast and takes ages to walk anywhere. This is not good, due to lack of oxygen, because of the altitude. The pillows are so uncomfortable, we mentioned this and were sent pillows of buckwheat, which were lumpy and hard. It was like having a heavy sack of grain, on the bed. We had to use the cushions, from the settee, but even these were not ideal. There was supposed to be oxygen in the room. Ours did not work. They sent someone up to look but nothing was fixed. We had to have cylinder oxygen, at an extra cost. The dining room is in their garden, so it was freezing cold, in the mornings, for breakfast. I dread to think what it would be like in the depth of winter. Needless to say, any hot food was cold by the time it got to the table. Not appetising, at all. I couldn't recommend this hotel, even though it is supposed to be the best in Lhasa.
We went in Sept and our room faced the West. Our room was always HOT! Eventually we had the front desk send us a portable AC unit. That helped!! Good thing we brought fans! The breakfast buffet was ok. The bacon was really bacon and not some mysterious meat. They need to learn how to keep their food hot. Pancakes sat under a heat light but it was on a cold surface. The hotel is beautiful but the atrium is one big open area. It was either hot or cold! To my surprise there was not a place to take any pics of the area. They showed a bar on their website that looked like a great PIC but that was no longer available. Since it was a holiday, people were camping in the open area in front of the hotel property which seemed very odd. For a IHG loyal member, this hotel DID NOT rank as well as other IHG properties. There is room for improvement.
I am loyal to this string of hotels but this one misses the mark. It may be beautiful but it has a heating and cooling nightmare. Atrium cool in morning and darned hot in the afternoon. The AC was not functioning in our room. I will call it fake AC. The fan ran but just circulated warm air. It never got below 25 degrees C. The breakfast buffet was average but if it opened at 6:30, it was not ready to serve at 6:30. If I would return to this area again I would explore other hotel options.
Before booking a trip consider the altitude problems. Lhasa is the lowest at 3650 mts.The average height of Tibet is 5000 mts. The altitude problem is constant and it gets worse as you go further into the country. Don't forget it is a 24/7 problem. People think that they will be OK as they have traveled in high altitude areas before, but usually it is not so constant as Tibet. In 10 days I saw a lot of people of all ages, struggling, with altitude. problems.
We stayed at the hotel in august as a part of a trip the hotel was beautiful with the rooms being lovely. The oxygen in the rooms meant that you slept perfect. However we did struggle as English speakers as many of the restaurants didn't have staff with English speakers at all and at on some evenings we werent able to eat in a certain restaurant as no one was able to speak English and the menus werent able to be translated. However apart from the language barrier the stay was lovely however I wouldn't return unless the hotel was more friendly to other languages other than Chinese.
The hotel is so amazing. The place is clear and comfortable. Remarkably, it provide oxygen freely in each room. But, location is too remote, no shop and restaurant nearby.
Great hotel. Wonderful amenities. Not convenient to downtown Lhasa.
Stayed in this hotel from 21Apr till 27Apr 2019. Hotel location is about 3km from city centres on the new developed area of Lhasa. From Airport to hotel will take about 1 1/2 hours by car. This property has very huge compound. Room was spacious and super clean. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Not many choices but it is adequate. Staff at reception was polite and try to help at their best. Thank you for Ashley for making me so welcome. I really appreciate for your help and generosity. Concierge was very helpful. They eager to help. Please help to furnish all Staff with basic English that would be helped for non Chinese visitors. There is no gym or swimming pool at the moment. Overall, I love this hotel and service that still above my standard. I will sure come back again for my next trip. My room was 20218 With love from me.
I was there in sept for a week, the hotel is fabulous. The most important thing for us when we visiting Tibet is to cope with the altitude sickness. The hotel provide an oxygen supply centrally in the room from 8.00 pm till 8.00 am, so we really feel comfortable in the hotel room bot like many others five star hotels in Lhasa where their oxygen supply are not installed centrally. Very recommended.
Very grand lobby! Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Service was good once you get through the language barrier. The front desk spoke English, but everywhere else was lacking. Breakfast buffet was good, but a little too spread out, by the time you get back to your table, the food was usually lukewarm. Overall, good experience.
Stayed here for a night. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable. Had problem with the toilet suite in that it did not flush well. This was subsequently fixed but not after some communication difficulty as the hotel staff do not speak English.
Nice big hotel room. Over all is very nice place to stay if you don't have high altitude sickness. Breakfast has a lot of choice. However, stuff didn't help with luggage when we checked in. Feel very tired pulling luggage on carpet. Had high altitude sickness first two days, called front desk, they don't have any medicine on hand, not even oxygen. There aren't any clinic on site according to front desk. Not sure if the oxygen system in room works.
the Lhasa Intercontinental paradise hotel is local at the east part of Lhasa city , the hotel far with old part of Lhasa city and jokhang temple bakhor street 5km ,far to the Potala palace around 6km.it is a new western style hotel the beautiful building and excellent service , all hotel design according to super 5star standard .also very good amenities served ,the client was enjoyable to stay here a couple of day once travel in Tibet ,
When we lived there, we were told that each room of this hotel would be filled with oxygen from 8:30pm to 6:30am. I didn't test it, nor knew how to do so, but my family did sleep very well in our room. They also have an oxygen bar which open 24hrs. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staffs were attentive and friendly. Their breakfast was great, but the food for room service and dinner weren't impressive. From this hotel to the old town takes about 5min drive. Overall, highly recommended.
We have booked this hotel for our stay in Lhasa , but after first 2 hours in hotel we decided to cancel our reservation and mooved to a different hotel . first - the comunication level in english in all hotel is close to 0 - even in reception we had problems of communicating. Restaurants are close to a disaster from service point of view ... Locattion is far away from the Lhasa city / center ...
Without doubt, this is a great stay. A quiet and peaceful environment will not be overtook any brightness by its biggest disadvantage which is a lit bit far away from central downtown, never mentioned that shuttle bus is provided, it becomes very convenient for me to go someplace in Lhasa. One last thing, thanks for front desk manager Becky Wei who has given me a room upgrade when I check-in. I even have got two free drinks at lobby bar. After all, I think, for sure, it definitely worth a comeback.
宿泊したホテルの中一番良いところでした。 ごはんも美味しかったし、施設も最高です。 ありがとうございました。
Grand lobby. Clean and luxury as any Intercontinental Hotel. Quality service. Good Sichuan restaurant.
Friendly and efficient front desk. Good restaurants. Clean and luxury as you can expect from other Intercontinental Hotel. Location is isolated and nothing nearby.
Hotel indoor areas are extremely cold. Room not as cold but cold so a portable heater had to be used Buffet food is average quality Staff doesn't speak English
The hotel is brand new and recently opened, but many issues which should have been avoided by proper staff training Service was inconsistent, difficult to find English speaking staff, no menu in the room to order food, previous guest hair in the shower...
no aircon
