Matakana Motel

Location for the Matakana Market is perfect, we were able to leave our car parked while we went to the Market. The room with and bathroom were spacious. Bed was very comfortable.

space, location

not facing sun

Everything and wonderful manager.

Nothing

location was great for my staff. handy to town for food etc. Very clean motel.

Great location, super clean and tidy Felt private

Great location

The house behind our unit were in their spa pool till late, which was fine. But then they put the spa pump on until early hours of the morning. It was impossible to sleep through that noise.

The spa bath and the location were great.

The room was cold and we had to ask for more bedding. Also I had to ask for a cutting board.

Perfect location, lots of room, very clean and tidy, Staff lovely, and value for money, can’t ask for anything more thank you

Very kid friendly, roomy and close to town

Location was great, beds were comfy, staff were lovely

Great space perfect for 5

The forks were grubby

Location

Noisy neighbours

Amazingly kind managers of the property! So very helpful!

Pool was a bit cold

Great location and spacious units

Clean and easy set up

close to town easy to walk without using the car, check in was easy, very helpful and accomodating host with plenty of parking. Kitchen if you wanted and nice and warm with the heat pumps.

The only thing we thought could be improved was the lighting in the kitchen which was very dim, whereas the lighting in the lounge area was very bright!

Location

Basic, tired

Excellent location, clean and comfortable with obliging staff

No USB installations and Google TV was time consuming to set up

The room was clean and spacious.

There were no curtain netting’s, wardrobe’s in the bedrooms or extra blankets in the room.

Clean and comfortable

Shower needs updating-worked but not great

Great communication - I had a few mishaps happen where I had to make changes to my booking. And the staff were understanding and so helpful. The unit was spacious and clean, in a great location. The water pressure in the shower was strong and beds were comfy. Would def recommend.

The location is excellent and staff very friendly

Nothing to be honest as we had everything we needed

Very comfortable unit. Big spa bath. Bathroom very clean. Right in the centre of town, could walk everywhere.

Location and executive suite.

Very comfortable, quiet, clean, modern and great location. Staff were friendly.

I had asked for a ground floor room which I had but there were a few steps which I hadn’t expected.

Loved the deck outside . Nice and private with native birds in trees.

Good location and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The light over the bed is very bright. Difficult if one person wants to sleep & the other read. A shower cap and a box of tissues and black flannel for make up would be helpful.

Great central location. Neat and tidy.

Staff and space. Convinience of location.

Loved everything

Location

Did not have breakfast

Lack of shelf space in the bathroom for our sponge bags etc. Height of shower tap in unit 3. Inadequate light above the bed

Close to town

Very thin walls could hear other rooms next door

Great staff, very accomodating and helpful. Fantastic location and amenities for our family.

Friendly and helpful throughout our booking, quick to answer questions. Rooms very comfortable. Kitchen well set up.

Great motel, very clean, staff so lovely and helpful and such a cool little village out at Matakana.

Location was perfect.

The stairs in the two bdrm unit were scary especially at night. Just had to be mindful.

Clean, comfortable, walking distance to eateries

Great location, walking distance from restaurants.

Unfortunately bed was very hard and didn't get much sleep.

Friendly and elegant . Best, biggest motel.

Honestly ticked all boxes for a motel . Nothing more to say . Very good accom

Room was a beauty

Nice and close to everything

Clean, lovely staff and close to everything

Great spot , first time staying 👌🏼

Very friendly staff. Comfortable and clean and only a 1 minute walk to town

Very clean and comfortable. Also quiet which is what we were looking for

Really like the location as it is right in the middle of the town and close to everything. Room was clean. I like the plunger coffee, the pen and notepad by the bed and the fact that you can swivel the TV to watch it in bed. The room is a good size and has bar stools for sitting to eat, a lounge area by the TV and the bed. Well laid out.

The motel room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Large comfortable bed. Lovely powerful shower. In a great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village with its many lovely shops and restaurants. Laundry on site.

Nothing. Everything was good.

Very comfortable and well designed room

We loved our stay it was all cozy, spacious and homely vibe

Very spacious, super clean and in really condition, has everything supplied and really close to town centre

Location is key

End of a good time

We didn’t have breakfast.

The fridge made a noise, the light came in through the blinds, the air con made noise and there was too much outside noise. Mostly the sheets were really rough.

Great location, Good children’s facilities

We got a 2 bedroom unit and one of the bedrooms didn’t have a single PowerPoint

Great location, very clean and tidy, comfortable beds

Amazing location, great facilities for families with kids

Very clean and spacious, comfortable bed. Really friendly staff. Great location

Kitchen bench was very high, so a bit tricky to do dishes if you're short!

Everything

Nothing but would be appealing in colder days to have a spa option. Outdoor pool for hotter days is do good

Excellent location, beautiful pool and motel

Upgraded to a family room which was warm and spacious. Quiet, comfortable beds, great access to restaurants and shops.

Noise from gas outlet on wall was annoying for light sleeper.

Super clean, really well equipped. Lovely soft carpets. Great location.

Fantastic location, good value for money & lovely pool

We did,nt have breakfast there.we had our own. It was wonderful being off the road and very spacious.we enjoyed our stay thank you.

The beds were super comfortable and the staff were all really lovely.

Location, Room, Clean, Spacious

Loved the location so central for walking everywhere, staff were very friendly and lovely to deal with.

A fantastic property, incredibly clean and comfortable right in the centre of town. Would absolutly recommend and also stay again.

Excellent motel and great location

Nothing

Location great. Access to room great. Beds very comfortable and unit clean and modern

Children's trampoline directly outside our lounge, potential of being disturbing but was fine. Hairdryer not working. Next unit bedroom against our lounge and not soundproof. No carpark available so had to park on driveway

Comfortable, clean , perfect location Staff so friendly and helpful
