Island ambience in the heart of Matakana

We really enjoyed our stay. Well appointed and comfortable apartment. Great location too - close to Matakana Village and local restaurants nearby.

The location was great for a stay in Matakana. The place was excellently set up - the kitchen had everything we needed, there was a heat pump and heated bathroom floors for winter. Then all the little touches made it feel like a home.

Location excellent, the place was really nice , perfect for a weekend away for 2 friends wanting a room each. Lovely outdoor area , great lounge and kitchen . Off street parking.. Good value for money.

I actually can't think of anything that could be improved, it was perfect for us.

Location was awesome. Right in the middle

The security lights that kept coming on and staying on for 5 mins. They can on continuously and randomly. My only thinking was that there are cobwebs on them and the wind kept blowing the cobwebs, turning the lights on continuously. The hosts did tell us about them - on the day that we arrived, and provided eye masks. However, it was super annoying. Both bedrooms suffered from it. Maybe some maintenance and cleaning of the lights would fix it and maybe only have them turn on for 2 mins not 5.

Wonderful location right in the village. Lovely appointed apartment, very clean and a very modern comfortable feel.

Easy access to the villa, nicely appointed, well furnished with everything we need for a few days. Great location, easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Matakana.

only one downside was the outside sensor lights in the back that went off in the night waking us, these don't seem to be the villas lights though so probably out of their control.

Tidy and clean villa, great location in Matakana

A great, modern, comfortable, clean space. The situation was perfect for us, within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants and the market. The private parking space was great as Matakana is so popular that parking could be difficult. We hope to be back!

Very clean & well appointed! The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to have a nice cooked meal! Very comfortable outdoor sitting area. The townhouse complex was about a 5 minute walk into the adorable village! Bedrooms very comfortable!

Great location. Nice and clean. Kitchen well stocked with cutlery, glasses etc. The apartment is a good space for 2 couples for a short stay, it was just a shame that for the price a few of the standard extras you would expect were a let down. Bedrooms could definitely do with blackout curtains.

Bedrooms were very light, particularly the bedroom backing onto the carpark. Carpark lights shone through all night with the security light shining even brighter periodically through the night. Old stale coffee and only half a bottle or already opened milk. One face cloth for 2 people for 2 nights. No rubbish bins in upstairs bathrooms or bedrooms.

Clean, modern, and quiet. Great location central Matakana. Well furnished with everything you need (plus a Christmas tree which was nice). The local coffee provided was much appreciated.

Perfect townhome for our needs. Modern, clean and comfortable. Beds were exceptional.

Location was great.

Bedroom door didn't close and no curtains to block out excessive light from outdoor areas.

Location was perfect to be able to explore points of interest in the area without having to travel too far. The closeness to the local supermarket was ideal for supplies and also having the option of several restaurant nearby. The whole unit was beautifully decorated and provided quality bedroom and bathroom linen. A superb unit.

The only irritation was the security light outside the bedroom window was constantly going on and off throughout the night and shone through the shut blinds keeping us awake.

Although not huge rooms it was so clean and comfortable. Right in town. Walking distance to everything. Definitely would stay again

Access was easy. Location great, easy walking around town. Bed was comfortable.

No air con upstairs so was quite hot at night. Tried opening windows but strong smell from someone close burning something. Place needed cleaning - floors needed vacuum, shower, kettle was grubby, previous tenants rubbish still in bin etc. Disappointing at this price.

Beautiful Villa! Very nicely designed and very clean. Location was perfect being right in the middle of Matakana village. Worked perfectly for us with a toddler, and would work very well for two couples with the two bathrooms/ensuites.
