We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, offering a peaceful setting that was perfect for a weekend escape. The overall atmosphere and vibe were incredibly relaxing, making it easy to unwind and recharge. Breakfast and the fine dining experience was another huge highlight. The combination of the beautiful location, cleanliness, relaxing environment, and excellent breakfast made for a truly memorable stay. We would highly recommend it and look forward to returning

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like. Everything exceeded our expectations. The property was exceptionally clean, the location was fantastic, the breakfast was excellent, and the relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect weekend getaway.

The property was emasculate on lovely manicured grounds, they even put the heat pump on before we arrived so the unit was lovely and warm

The property was as pictured and cleaned to a very high standard. The check in and out was easy with friendly staff, who provided suggestions for dinner when the restaurant wasn't open. Overall an enjoyable stay for a couple.

The property isn't walking distance to any restaurants other than the onsite one which is only opened on the weekend.

A fantastic villa in Matakana. We took our friends from overseas around Matakana during Easter, so the villa location was perfect. It’s surrounded by magnificent views and so quiet. There is a beautiful garden behind the villa and we really enjoyed the evening and morning walk after eating too much lol The deck area from the living room was an extra special feeling when we had our morning coffee too. Our daughter, 6 years old said she didn’t go home when we were leaving…lol Highly recommend 300%

Beautiful property in quiet location. Beautiful property and surroundings, very well appointed cabins and lovely hosts. The location is slightly out of Matakana but in quiet location and suited our needs. The only issue we had was the restaurant was not open on the Monday or Tuesday whilst we were there and we had to arrange dinner in town. There is no taxi or Uber service so if you’re out of town you must drive, so if you want a wine with dinner it can be tricky. We would recommend choosing to stay later in the week or weekends if you wish access to the restaurant and local wineries. The kitchen facilities have limited cooking options for being out of town, microwave only no cook top however we coped to prepare a meal.

This was a beautiful well maintained property with lovely gardens and night light features. Lovely bedding and bathroom. Very close to Matakana

Having cooking facilites would add to the appeal of the property but I understand that it probably maintains the cleanliness of the apartment by not having people cook

The managers were delightful . We had a lovely leisure walk on the property. Apartment serviced daily Coffees and milk replenished daily.

Beautiful location. Private yet close to Matakana township. Quality fixtures and fittings in the villa. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

The location and the accommodation were wonderful.

Was the best getaway. Even though the weather was dreadful we still managed to have such a lovely long weekend. The accommodation was perfect. Views were beautiful and we even managed to get in a dinner at plume restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Travelling as two couples, the two room set-up with lounge in the middle was perfect. Really spacious. The pool was nice. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, and the bathroom had underfloor heating. Whilst no cooking facilities, there is a microwave, fridge and plates / cutlery etc. It's a lovely, peaceful setting and I would recommend it as a place to 'get away' and chill for a few days. Close enough to plenty of things to explore and do.

We left some food on the counter when we popped out for a few hours, by the time we came back there were ants everywhere. There was fly spray under the bench which helped, but sweet treats beware, the NZ ants come out in force! I was also were notified of a $25 fee to separate the king beds if we preferred a single set-up which I thought was a bit cheeky given the overall cost of the stay.

We chose the property because we needed 2bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The facilities were good and we liked the separate villa accommodation.

It would be good to have EV charging. One of the staff tried to help us with a power point behind a service shed but this did not work.

Beautiful setting. Lovely spacious villas. Simple, sleek modern decor. Half kitchen came with many utilities. Loved the huge gardens on the grounds.

Would have been better if the restaurant open every night. Also villas are large enough to have a washer.

Accomodation was homey and comfortable, the grounds were impeccable with a nice walk through the large garden and open area. It felt like a slice of heaven, pure serenity.

Breakfast was delicious and great value .

We loved everything about our stay at Plume Villas. The villas are well designed and appointed and have everything you need for a beautiful stay. The grounds and surrounding communal areas are all immaculate and beautiful to enjoy being in. We will be back and will recommend to all our family and friends.

Amazing stay at Plume Villas! Nick and his wife were so welcoming. We were celebrating a birthday and got upgraded to a bigger, private villa – beautifully equipped and very peaceful. Lovely personal touch. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very warm & comfortable. Like that there was a choice of pillows & the bed was very uncomfortable. Close to the Plume restaurant & shops in Matakana village. Staff were extremely helpful & kind. They gave us a lift to the restaurant in a golf cart due to it pouring down with rain ☔️ It’s the little things! Thank you so much :)

Didn’t really have any

This place really isn’t my vibe. Tries to be upscale but misses my mark of user friendly, Gave up after 10 minutes trying to figure out the TV remote - kitchen area has a microwave but received a notice saying I couldn’t cook food. Weirdest bathroom - all one big open area (shower, toilet, sink) - sink was too small with no countertop - half the room floods when taking a shower so had to use an ECO friendly towel to dry area around toilet. And on and on. Somebody probably received an award for design of this place - but not from me. Perhaps they make a u-tube video on how to run all the amenities (still don’[t know how to get the fan off HIGH). Comfortable nights sleep but that’s about it.

Our stay was great! The hotel was a good value for the amount of space and style. Great showers and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful weather.

nice cabin and location very quiet though hardly anyone staying there.

Very over priced for a mid week low season stay.I felt offended at been offered a minimal offering of bar snacks at silly prices when paying $500 a night.Plenty of high quality places at least offer a nice breakfast at that price and cheaper.
