You can hear people walking above you, but the solution is to get one of the upper units.

La recamara que nos tocó muy bonita pero junto al área de servicio y se oía cada vez que funcionaba la bomba de agua y la señal del Internet se interrumpía demasiado

Cerca del centro de la ciudad, todos los sitios de interés te quedan caminando, el personal super amable. La habitación me pareció bonita y supero mis expectativas en confort, tanto la cama, almohadas, ropa de cama... y la limpieza impecable. Otra cosa que supero mis expectativas, fue el desayuno incluido, simplemente delicioso y con un toque de sazón local.
Las escaleras para subir al tapanco, un poco peligrosas.

El servicio de desayuno es muy bueno, con opciones para todos los gustos y una sazón muy buena. Es un poco incómodo el ruido que se escucha en las habitaciones por la resonancia que la arquitectura del lugar tiene. Nada grave pero mejoraría mucho si usaran ventanas aislantes acústicamente.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2024El cuarto, aunque pequeño para cuatro personas, nos vino perfecto. Los desayunos estuvieron deliciosos, sobre todo la picada gigante y las dobladas Coatepec. Es un hotel muy céntrico, llegas al Parque central en menos de 5 minutos. Los restaurantes de los alrededores son muy ricos, y el camión que va a Xalapa sale de la esquina. La presión del agua estuvo perfecta, el servicio a la habitación rápido y en general una muy buena estancia. La única desventaja es que, si se les acaba espacio en el estacionamiento, tienes que dejar tu auto en la calle. Solo es cuestión de pedir que te avisen si se llega a desocupar algún espacio.

Need more lighting in the rooms.

It was very noisy at night. The staff seemed to be moving furniture at midnight, dragging stuff and dropping things now and then. Also, the rooms were not dark enough to sleep properly, as the curtains are very thin. I cannot say I had a very good night’s sleep.

La atención en la recepción buena, sin embargo, pedimos una habitación para tres personas y sólo había Servicio y toallas para dos. En la otra habitación que se pidió para cuatro personas, lo mismo. Además, pedimos una toalla más para la cara o manos y nos fue negada aún cuando la estancia fue de dos Noches.

The wifi was very basic and I was unable to attend a meeting on Zoom. Also the wifi doesn't reach downstairs so I had to attend from my bed, which is unprofessional. The sofa was stained, the stairs up to the bedroom in the loft are challenging. I requested early check in because I took an overnight bus, and they would not allow check in a moment before 3 pm. They had said to speak to the staff upon arrival, which made it sound as if they were flexible. She was most certainly not in the least bit flexible.

Muchos lugares con buena comida, todo muy bien excepto por el restaurante del hotel. La encargada fue poco amable, ruda al comentar las cosas que estaban fuera del paquete y por consiguiente con costo, no sabe preparar café y no tiene noción sobre la presentación de los alimentos. Ibamos a desayunar ahí en nuestro ultimo día y me arrepiento de haberlo hecho pues arruinó todo lo bueno que habíamos tenido eñ fin de semana.

My room was on a split level with a downstairs living room and upstairs bedroom (narrow spiral staircase). The hotel is well-located in the centre of Coatepec. There is street-side parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast is freshly prepared and consists of a menu of tasty dishes.
