Sheraton Chongqing Hotel

Wij verbleven hier enkel in afwachting van onze terugvlucht naar huis kort na middernacht. Om ook gebruik te kunnen maken van het zwembad. Het zwembad was druk bezocht en er stonden vrij weinig ligstoelen rond. De bedden waren zachter dan de gemiddelde harde bedden zoals zeer vaak in China het geval is.

Geen opmerkingen. Hotel voldeed aan onze verwachtingen.

Das Sheraton Chongqing Hotel ist für mich eine der besten Adressen in Chongqing: moderne, großzügige Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten, großen Fenstern und schönem Blick auf den Yangtze oder die Skyline, dazu eine insgesamt hochwertige und saubere Ausstattung. Besonders positiv ist die Lage direkt an der Nan Bin Road am Fluss, abends mit beleuchteter Skyline und guter Auswahl an Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung. Das Frühstück bietet eine breite Auswahl an chinesischen und internationalen Speisen in guter Qualität, sodass sowohl Geschäfts- als auch Freizeitreisende auf ihre Kosten kommen. Der Service ist freundlich, professionell und hilfsbereit, Check-in und Check-out laufen effizient und auch auf Englisch wird man problemlos betreut. Insgesamt bietet das Sheraton Chongqing Hotel ein sehr stimmiges Gesamtpaket aus Lage, Komfort und Service und ist für einen Aufenthalt in Chongqing absolut empfehlenswert.

Great hotel, spascious, in a nice quiet neighbourhood but close to the action of Chongqing. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel itself was full but it never felt crowded, the staff were kind and professional, and the fascilities were good as well.

Beautiful hotel located right next to the river. Rooms are modern and spacious with a beautiful view of Chongqing skyline. Staff is helpful. Great breakfast selection, serving Chinese and traditional Chongqing food. Great location.

The Sheraton Chongqing is located at the Southbank of Yangtze River of Chongqing. The hotel has a stunning lobby. Its close proximity to the south bank allows the guest to make a casual stroll on the river bank, which is very enjoyable at night. It is a bit far public bus and subway station (you may want to take a taxi to reach the hotel). As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member, I was upgraded to a corner suite with river view. The room is spacious, with a full bedroom, a full living room with its own toilet. There is a tub at the corner of the room where you can relax over the beautiful view outside the hotel. The dining option is excellent. The hors d’oeuvres at the executive lounge lasts from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, with high lights such as the hot pot, roast pork neck with potatoes, fried pawn slices, fried chicken and sweet potato balls. The breakfast buffet runs from 6:30am to 10:30am, with fresh squeezed watermelon and carrot juices, freshly made noodles and wonton, etc..

I have been to this hotel several times, it is very clean and well organized, the problem for us Westerners is the poor knowledge of the English language and the only Chinese breakfast. I understand that the Chinese presence is predominant but if Chongquin wants to attract intercontinental visitors it must make itself international.

The staff are friendly and helpful

The employees are very kind and can speak english. Trisha Xiong was our waitress and is really friendly, and helped us to provide some information. The building and furniture looks amazing. They have a lounge on the 36th floor with great view over the city!

The hotel was a little dated but very clean and everything was serviceable. The staff were very professional and friendly. The hotel was in the middle of anything you would want. From Shake Shack, to convenient stores or banks all within a short distance from the hotel.

I am a Bonvoy Platinum Member and had a very bad experience with one of the staff, Ashley at the Executive Lounge. When i had asked for 2 sparkiling water at around 2130hrs, i was told to come back the next day as they do not have any more "quota for the day. What kind of service is this???!! This is a really disappointing experience!!

The lobby, swimming pool, breakfasts, and fabulous room. Staff all very accommodating. We loved being able to pick out the Sheraton Gold Towers when we were out and about.

The room was a little stale and smelt of smoke from the previous occupant.

Checked out a few days early , rooms a very run-down and one building is mostly vacant . Lobby and exterior are beautiful , but not much traffic and I think that’s why it’s a bit outdated in rooms … fixtures falling apart and carpets stained , also no English tv options and gate often didn’t lift up when trying to exit parking lot , therefor we had to make multiple calls to front desk sometimes while being honked at . 500 deposit was expected to be paid even though when booking room online , everything was paid for supposedly thru Expedia ! Still waiting for that back after checking out four days early …told absolutely no refund for checking out early due to Expedias policy …. Don’t use Expedia if you have doubts , refunds are next to impossible !

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Chongqing. The suite we stayed in, with a “river-view,” was outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and the complimentary breakfast had a wide and delicious selection to choose from. When we return next year to visit Chongqing, we will definitely stay at the Sheraton Chongqing. Thank you, from Michael & Xiaojing.

Wow this is the most opulent room I've ever stayed in. Definitely will stay here again! Beautiful view from my corner room. There is a fun market along the river right outside of the hotel. Great for walking along the river and many Chongqing hotpot spots. Very reasonably priced.

Very luxurious hotel with beautiful suites in good location. It is a pitty that the stuff does not fit to the hotel. Very unprofessional check in with very little English. The lounge not Marriott level from the stuff, environment and offered food as well as drinks. I would choose next time the Marriott.

The hotel is clean and elegant, the room is large and beautiful, and the shape of the building inside and out is very nice, the view from the room window is great; moreover, the room was very clean and great value for money. 飯店老舊，前台服務也不好，交通也不方便，到解放碑，重慶市中心主要景點都需要打車至少30分鐘，很容易塞車。慶幸只住了一晚。一晚的住宿費因為喜來登的名聲也不便宜。還不如在解放碑附近找酒店，不建議住宿

I would rate Sheraton Chongqing for 4- Although there were no big issues regarding accommodation experience, you did felt gaps between Sheraton Chongqing and its strong competitors at the same tier. The shower room was too small and difficult to enter because of the inward opened door. The other room I booked was tired. The service was slow when you asked for something. The breakfast lacked of choices as well as service. Food was boring and had no characteristics. The front desk was nice and helpful but the overall experience was not impressive. What Sheraton Chongqing could have done better was the service.

I stayed at Sheraton Chongqing for 2 nites. Due to Covid 19 Hotel take great care when I entered the hotel Concierge provide me a facial mask and check my tempreture. Upon check in Front desk told me Club lounge is only available for Afternoon tea and Happy hour at Lobby lounge. Breakfast is served at Coffee shop.Due to late arrival I skipped dinner and went straight to bed. Gym is 24 hours so is good for early bird like me. Went down for breakfast at 645 and saw the mouth watering pastries which made me feel like home. I thought they had a foreign pastry chef and I found out is a local chef. Very impressed with his work. Room is spacious and facing the famous Yangtze river. Friendly staffs with smiling face. Downside is the English level is not so good but thanks to the technology. It was not an issue after all. Check out was less than 2 mins and I was already in a cab heading to airport.

An extremely nice hotel on the Yangtze River. The property is lovely. Our room was an upgraded suite and was absolutely superb. The staff is quite nice and very accommodating. The hotel is close to anything you might want to do, but beware of Chingqing's infamous traffic. Make sure you allow extra time to get anywhere.

房间很好，整洁，但房型不什滿意，打开房门对正冲凉房，一边面盆，一边坐厕，床在入面，设计比较奇怪。 客房服务很好。但早餐很一般，热菜应该是热的，但全部是凍的，热菜全部是素。没有肉。其他一般。有很大改善空间。 酒店地点不太旺，出入不方便。去那里都要打车.附近没有什么景点。想要入住的要留意。

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and hotel was not busy at all. Checked in was less than 5 mins. After settled in my room went straight to the Gym. Spacious and lots of cardio equipments and weight lifting. Had dinner at coffee shop, fresh seafood and was surprised that they had good Indian cuisine as well. Talked to the Indian chef and can feel he is very professional. Checked out at 1pm and took me 2 mins becoz my bill was prepared in advance. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel and lots of restaurants. But if you are not fancy to any spicy food I suggest better eat at the hotel.

This is the only Golden Sheraton in the world ! Most of the furniture and Decor is Gold ! Check in is smooth ! This is your average service hotel . But the breakfast here is great . They move the executive lounge from 49th floor down to 2nd Floor service is not as good as before . Great location and great view . You can have a walk on the board walk and check out multiple shopping mall which have great local and western food .

The whole hotel is too dark everywhere with a very unfriendly staff. Many areas are broken without repair and maintenance. It is a shame to be awarded a 5 stars.

Fancy hotel with nice view over the river. Perfect to go for a run along the river in front of the hotel. Room was spacious and built to look luxurious. Wasn't a hundred percent clean in all the corners though, and the bathroom door could almost not be shut.

Amazing hotel with vakue for money hotel

I stayed here one night for a business trip. Hotel was very impressive...gave me a feeling like I was in Las Vegas with all the glitter and gold (you'll see what I mean when you go there). Rooms were very spacious and the view of the river was spectacular. The executive lounge (temporary one) was nice. Staff there VERY friendly and helped me with suggestions where and what to do at night. Hotel is conveniently located near a Starbucks and a huge shopping center with plenty of restaurants. Only downfall...AC has limited temp control, and hot water wasn't hot...(reason for four points instead of five).

Today I was in business lounge. The food and the trink was very good. The coffee was the best I never drunk. The staff here was so friendly and nicely. The name was Jennifer. Hotel is very good and the person here help you about all trips to go in City other come to airport. Jennifer is the best and she is so nice to help me.Shelly is so good too.she is very cute.and help me with Jennifer.

The air con was set at cool by the previous customer at a 17 C. The central system was to heat. Therefore, I was woke up at around 3:00 am due to the heat. At around 5:00 am, the alarm clock sound. It was one of those new technology type. I could not tern it off and had to unplug it in order to stop it. Can management make sure that the AC and the alarm clock was reset properly before the next customer arrived. I think most traveler will not check these things (or does not know how to reset them) before they went to bed.

I had request a King size bed as normal during web reservation. Check in just a twin bed,Hotel quick reaction to solve the problems even fully book . Excellent service.

夜景がとてもきれい。外を歩いていても気持ちが良い。しかし部屋からは一部しか見えなかった。正面の部屋はおそらく値段が高い。周辺にはコンビニや気軽な食堂がなく、高級レストランしかなく不便。電車の駅まで遠く、必ずタクシーを呼ばなければならないのは不便。WiFiはすこぶる遅い。朝食は種類も多くとてもおいしかった。部屋の防音は万全で過ごしやすい。

Having booked into a nearby hotel which proved unsatisfactory for our seven night stay in Chongqing, we appeared at the Sheraton with no booking recently, hoping for a good experience. We were not disappointed in any way! The hotel is built to an unusual design with high ceilings, very traditional gold appointments everywhere, and a distinctly early 20th century theme. This is fine, and offers a contrast to other newly built hotels which have a much more contemporary style in Chongqing. Where the Sheraton distinguishes itself is with its staff. Everyone, despite speaking little English (all apart from Olga who is fluent) made us welcome and assisted our every need for the full seven days. The views from the 21st floor of the city are remarkable, and the room is well appointed to a five star standard. We enjoyed therefore a wonderful week in Chongqing. Special thanks to Olga, Lance, and Luke, all of whom represent the hotel extremely favourably.

The location is great and adjacent to the Yangzi River with wonderful view. The checking area is very nice and staffs have warmed welcome. However, the room interior design is luxurious but bad fiction design. The breakfast food is ok. Unfortunately, some service plates and soup bowls are chipped at edges which is not healthy on the public dining. Chinese food are not tasty and cool. It needs to improve.

I stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened 7 years ago and it was chaos on many levels, but now things are under control and staff know what to do. The rooms are well equipped, there’s still a lot of Gold around especially on floor 36, but the effect has been toned down now for the better. I had a demanding itinerary which required the use of the hotel car and everything went perfectly smoothly. I also had a lengthy document to process and the staff could not have been more helpful. So yes I would now recommend the Sheraton Chongqing with two side notes, 1. the air conditioning is not cold enough for my taste, 2, the Club Lounge could have larger quantity and selection of food and drink. My special thanks go to Jennifer in the Club Lounge, Jay in Concierge and Luke on the Front desk who all exceeded my expectations. Also not forgetting the Hotel Driver, a very nice man but did not get his name. Thank you.

Stayed a few days in this mega river city. The hotel is very centrally located on the riverside. Beautiful lobby with huge marble columns. Impeccable service. Rooms are luxury and spacy. Internet works fine. Price is acceptable for the level of this hotel. Good coffee!

Everything is fine except for the aircond. Is not cold at all and I have to shower frequently within a day just to keep cool. And the design is too old fashion. Not suitable for those who prefer a more modern room or hotel.

Second time staying there for a business trip within a year. The good: - prime location - airy lobby The bad: - unreasonable toilet design (attached) - big lobby without any chairs for guests to sit (yes there’re chairs in the bar) The ugly: - Fell right near the entrance because of their uneven carpet - Nobody came to help after the fall. Asked them for alcohol wipe and they had none. - Told the receptionist about the carpet (I didn’t even complained) but no response. Next day carpets double layered in the same position (See attached) Won’t stay there again!

The room was a very nice corner room but with no air conditioning it was too warm. The window opened a crack, which helped, but not enough. I was told the air conditioning is not activated until May.

地處江畔，環境宜人，食住尚方便，出入多坐計程車。房間洗手間設窗通風差。

酒店位置优越，出门便是长江。金色外观的双子塔很土豪很霸气，大堂装修气派，前台工作人员热情周到，房间非常宽敞整洁，床品很好，进入房间有酒店赠送的水果，很贴心。还会再来住的！

酒店內設施很齊全，外牆和景觀都很漂亮，房內的衛浴與床鋪都很漂亮。我很喜歡，讚！ 服務生很親切，幫客人提行李。

已經多次入住該酒店，在辦理入住時，前台一位女接待員在通電話，我站在前面等了大約五分鐘，因為不想打擾她工作所以沒有說過一句話，後來她用很不禮貌的眼神和手指其他櫃台，用意應該是叫我去其他地方處理入住，然後我轉到其他前台去辦理入住，跟前台的服務生說了一句：你們酒店現在的服務態度好有問題，竟然得到的回應是：每個人對服務的要求不一樣！當時候我和朋友都立馬傻了眼，哈哈！但是離開辦理退房時另外一組工作人員，得回喜來登應該有的禮貌和服務了！

If you are looking for Luxiary, this is the hotel to stay while most other 5-stars ones are just like a place for home-stay. Try Premium, a room with River View. I'll reserve the same hotel next time when come to Chongqing.

First time visiting Chongqing; hotel was very nice with good location and lots of restaurants just near by. over my expectation!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. With a spacious pool area, great beds and an outstanding breakfast this hotel is a sure bet.

My stay was pleasant. But, if you do not know chinese or need anything like toiletries, i.e. need a store for personal things you are out of luck here. There is no one over 25 years WHO works there for some reason. The chinese restaurant is excellent. The views are wonderful. Chongqing is a very unique experience. There is no way to adjust the temperature of the room and by keeping the window and door open did not help to lower the room temperature down at all. The room was so unbearably warm and stuffy that I have to work along the corridor because it is cooler. I contacted the reception 3 times and for 3 times, I was asked to change my room. With no better option, I have no choice but to endure the torturing condition of the room. My 3 nights stay at this hotel was a nightmare; the experience was totally uncomfortable and suffering. A 5-star hotel like Sheraton cannot simply assume that all the guests' temperature preference for the room are the same and conveniently set a standard temperature for all the rooms and stop the air-conditioning from working.

住宿还行，但前台处理问题方法极差住宿还行，但前台处理问题方法极差。我通过EXPEDIA预定此酒店并已全额付款，但前台显示客人付款，经酒店查明为EXPEDIA为转款给他们，他们电话通知我需先扣我的押金，等EXPEDIA付款并让我自己联系催款，他们收到钱后才退回。我觉得既然酒店方与EXPEDIA有合作，中间脱节环节就应该他们沟通，与客服方便，因为我需通过多种渠道才能处理好，何况他们已经与我造成及为不便
