We booked a BBQ and Movie night, staff and service was excellent, BBQ food first class. Really impressed staff were very attentive always watching to see if we needed something. A great evening out for the kids and adults. Well done!

The Magnolia is a very clean, the suites are the perfect home from home with great decor and comfortable beds, the staff are friendly and attentive and always ready to help with a smile. It is also in a great location, has a lovely pool with plenty of sunloungers and a lovey pool bar area to have lunch and relax in the evening.

Excellent location. Staff were always helpful and so friendly. Hotel was always spotlessly clean and rooms cleaned and tidied up almost daily. We would definitely stay there again and, would have no hesitation in recommending the Magnolia to friends and family. Thank you for making our holiday in the Algarve so memorable

We love coming back and seeing familiar faces; they truly make every visit special. 😊 The facilities are fantastic, and the location couldn’t be better, with easy access to wonderful restaurants and beautiful beaches. Good value, nice rooms, attentive staff and excellent food.

Great location . Staff on reception and restaurant were all really friendly and helpful . We had a dog and stayed in the cottages which was ideal . Room was cleaned daily and nothing was ever a problem . Would definitely recommend and we will be returning .

I’ve been travelling to Portugal for the last 6 months to work on a project and have stayed at the Magnolia every time. The staff are wonderful and remembered me every time. They were so kind & accommodating. I look forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is fabulous too!

Great hotel for a short stay, it is well maintained. Extremely friendly & helpful hotel staff. Rooms are a reasonable size but bathroom was very cosy, that said, both have everything you need. Great food selection for breakfast and would highly recommend the toasted sandwiches or club sandwiches for lunch - portions are huge! Balcony chairs are very uncomfortable and would benefit with the addition of thick cushions. I would happily stay again if we came back for another break.

The only thing is the road to Quinta shopping - it's a short easy walk but on a main road. Ideally there would be a safe path.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience. The facilities were excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. One of the best things about the location was how easy it was to get around using Uber, with quick and convenient rides available to all the nearby restaurants and beaches you really are 10 minutes from everywhere you'd want to go. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily recommend it to others.

The breakfast was fine, the room comfortable although the air-conditioning unit was far too close to the bed making it extremely cold/drafty at night. All the staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating.

We didn't expect there to be so many large groups of men but then this is due to the location of the golf courses. The pool wasn't big enough really for the amount of rooms/clients. In our opinion not a family orientated hotel.....more as above for the convenience of golfers.

I have stayed in the Magnolia Hotel before and I found there's is lots to love to about this place,it's location and it's staff. There is a consistency about the Hotel and what I mean is that (a) the staff are friendly,professional,hardworking, and are always happy to help.(b) the location is excellent, literally 5 minutes from Quinta Shopping Centre although sadly and I have mentioned this before there is no footpath to Quinta Shopping Centre which is totally out of control of Magnolia Hotel and the local authorities should really try and rectify the situation but the good news is,you can get a taxi in minutes to any location and it's very affordable. The Hotel is spotlessly clean. I am happy to give 4.75%. Stars. It's a great spot.

My second stay at The Magnolia and just as enjoyable as the first. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. A fantastic base for a golf holiday in Quinta do Lago.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. We were in Quinta da Largo for a wedding.

The food was very basic and no Portuguese influence at all. Very heavily used by groups of men on golf holidays. Atmosphere could be so much better than it is.

We stayed here as it was convenient location for a wedding we were attending. Whilst the hotel is a bit out of the way and you have to use a taxi (uber is very cheap) the hotel was fab. All the facilities were great but honestly the staff were an asset to the hotel, particularly the serving staff on the restaurant and bar they couldn’t do enough for you, taking the time to get to know you and make your stay more personal. We cannot thank them enough.

Bedrooms are very dated and the bathroom desperately needs attention it felt grubby, rust on mirror, broken tile, sink looked cracked and stained. Only 1 bottle of water provided for one week’s stay.

I went off peak so I enjoyed a quite stay which is my preference. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The Magnolia picnic bag was a lovely addition to my beach day!

The bathroom is the smallest bathroom I have ever been in, it’s not practical for using the loo, there is no space to sit down as the wall is too close and no space in the bathroom to dry yourself. There is also no footpath outside the hotel so it is unsafe to walk anywhere from the hotel, I had to use Uber for a 2 min drive as the 10 min walk on the road was too dangerous.

Golf weekend, first time we have stayed here and it was fantastic. Stayed in the bungalows and loved them. Good breakfasts, nice pool, lovely staff.

Just back from another fantastic experience staying at the Magnolia hotel. The staff from reception, restaurant and bar just can’t do enough to ensure your stay goes well. The hotel is primarily a golfers hotel with everything you want. Rooms are basic but comfortable and again everything from a coffee machine and sky sports on the TV. We were 8 guys playing some of the hotel linked golf courses and transport was provided again excellent service. Breakfast was great with the chef making fresh eggs and omelettes to order with fresh fruit if you prefer. A special mention for the staff at the front desk for providing assistance in booking our favourite restaurants and recommendations. This was our 4th year staying at the hotel and we will be back. Ideal for golf at Quinta do Lago and for so many other things involving the lake and beach. It is a relaxed and very friendly group of staff who always performed to their best to make my stay (with my wife and 2 friends) absolutely perfect. The staff made our stay so enjoyable and they are a great team, well trained and motivated. Let's get a "work on" out of the way now - I would say the rooms and specifically the bathrooms and corridor carpet needs changing or a refresh; these aspect are looking tired. However so many other aspects of this value for money hotel are fabulous. Pool, bar, terraces, beds, restaurant, food, gym, steam room and sauna were all in great shape and offered lots to do onsite. We booked golf directly with the hotel and Claudia who works at the hotel sorted out all our logistics perfectly.

First of all the place is clean. Tidy and staff very friendly,, Reception not great experience bit unwelcoming, The huge let down for us was the rooms. They are not great. Very small basic. But enough room to swing a cat. Also very dark. They have no ceiling lights. There’s also not enough room for two people’s clothes. Hanging or drawers. It’s a shame as much better rooms and it could be a good venue. It’s basic. It’s perfect for golfers. Good and drinks are ok and prices not to bad. Won’t go back again only because of the poor rooms

Really Lovely hotel with incredibly friendly, helpful and hardworking staff. The staff were really accommodating with getting rooms ready ahead of time for my grandchildren and even put a cake in the room for my sons birthday - above and beyond. Everything was so clean and the pool was checked several times a day. Rooms were a little small but apart from that everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return next year.

We found the hotel to be so helpful. Arranging our room, which was a cottage, and perfect for the three of us. Golf all arranged and went like clockwork

No pavement to walk to other places. However we were easily and cheaply able to use Uber.

Staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. The location is perfect to enjoy all the best that Quinta and Vale do Lobo has to offer.

The Magnolia had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Quinta do Lago, the staff were extremely helpful and the location is fantastic. We have lots of our wedding guests staying in October and are so glad to recommend this hotel!

The bathrooms on the standard rooms could have been a little bigger.

Our flight was cancelled Faro - Gatwick & we all got put up for the night in various hotels. We were lucky to stay in Magnolia Hotel, what a beautiful place 10/10 for everything, rooms,staff,food,drink everything was first class. Thankyou!

Facilities overall were very good but the beds are very hard - staff very friendly

Beds could have been more comfy and their was no tea/coffee facilities in the room which is very unusual as most places have now - that was a disappointment

Great location with a nice staff and enjoyable breakfast.

We had one of the cottages for our family, 2 adults and 2 older teens. Having the 2 bedrooms was so nice, like our own apartment. Breakfast every morning was amazing. So Good! It was over Christmas so did not use the pool.

Only issue we had was rain coming in through all 3 of the sliding glass door. That is all to say as everything else was a "like"

Last Winter we went to Pinehurst for a golf trip. But compared with Quinta do Lago, in Portugal and its 3 beautiful golf courses the North, South and especially Laranjul, this was light years away in sophistication and value. The best place to stay is The Magnolia Hotel, with its golf packages and mostly because of their wonderful staff and amenities.
