Amaris Hotel Nagoya Hill - Batam

Nice clean and simple hotel. Good simple food. Friendly staffs, nice shower room. We didn't smell any cigarettes smell, which is good. Hot water worked well. Sorry we forgot to take pictures. Overall really experience. Keep up the good work. Good job. Happy New Year 2025. Thank you Amaris

We stayed for 2 nights, room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent, they were extremely helpful and most of them spoke very good English and we would definitely stay there again. Wifi was available and they also kept our bags as we arrived early.

Awesome all the service render especially staff Ayu and Cut for their warmest welcome. Food excellent. Wawan front desk staff friendly . The location strategies and near to the mosques, pandai cari makan karna food court sangat dekat, senang pusing pusing di sini.

Nice room. Comfy bed. Strong wifi. Good breakfast spread.

very good

For the price, the hotel location within nagoya hill mall, it’s value for money. Of course, you get for what you pay for. So don’t expect 5star facilities. Will definitely stay again :-)

Did not like the limited number of towels provided

Location is just a step away from Nagoya hill mall. Value for money. Only Hollywood room is with king size bed and free coffee and tea. Standard/Smart room is twin and queen bed to choose from. No coffee and tea for smart and standard room, only bottle water is given. Breakfast is simple , don’t aspect too much. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Eateries, spa, barber and all that you need is around the hotel area. Very convenient. Save money on transport. Overall is a great stay. Will stay again. Do note that this hotel is not for guest that aspect a 5/4 star hotel standard with a value of a 2 star hotel.

There is still room for improvement.

convenient place to shop, eat and stay. no frills.

Have to take turns to borrow the hair dryer. Breakfast end at 9am which I think it is too early. Good that they call me on my first morning at 08:45 for breakfast but subsequently I hanged up my phone as not to be disturbed

Staff are friendly from the front desk, the buffet breakfast area and the security personnel at the door. As we are on the ground floor, the aircon behind is loud, there are ants near the table and the toilet door is without lock. Breakfast though simple is still good and no issues with the check in and out.

Hotel very near to shopping mall.

A comfortable stay at a convenient location except that the hotel breakfast spread is rather limited.

Amaris has always been one of my favorite hotels in Batam. Located near nagoya hill mall. Staff was friendly. Recommend for those who is looking for a budget hotel.

Hotel located in great location in the heart of shopping area, which 20 minutes from airport. Room is clean and the staffs are polite. Breakfast Ok and the taste is good, and variety is so so (standard budget hotel). Sure will coming back again for the next visit.

Near to Nagoya mall and provides simple breakfast. 24h circle k just beside hotel

Location good.

Hotel is not very clean. Lots of ants around the room door. Shower head non adjustable. Fridge not available in the room. Hair dryer only available upon request. Despite staying in double room, they only provide 1 pair of room slippers. Not much choices for breakfast buffet.

Its a walking distance to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall

1) Budget stay. Clean rooms. Breakfast is legit. 2) Staff 5 star. 3) Very conveniently located if you intend to stay around nagoya. 4) Nearest ferry is batam center or harbor bay. 5) Local food. 6) Good massage area. Lots to choose. Go to Everyday massage. My choice. Not in the mall. The shop houses around the mall.

Location was good and convenient. Easy to go shopping

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room wasn't ready when we checked in at 3pm. The room is dirty and has a stinky smell in the toilet. Towels are yellowish in colour. Although we know it is a 3 star hotel and we didnt pay much for the room rates, the hotel needs to improve in its cleanliness in the hotel room. Breakfast spread was ok. Hotel staff are all very friendly I must say.

Nice size rooms. We had booked 6rooms however some things were not working, toilet flush, wash basin drainage and vet basic breakfast

No much to comment - also what i wanted - the rest had submitted my evaluation of the hotel rates

BAD SERVICE QUALITY OF FEMALE HOTEL STAFF AINUN. BAD SERVICE ATTITUDE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. TOTALLY RUIN OUR STAY AT AMARIS.

The service was good as staff are friendly. And the hotel is nearby Nagoya hill shopping mall. But bad things are: The door had difficulties to open. The wooden flooring is sticky not that clean on the flooring. The water dispenser for common use is actually very dirty on the water dispenser mouth so see already abit irritating. Near Mosques so abit disturb in the early morning as they are having their prayer. We are not get used to it maybe. My room window is near jungles with seeing of trees and forest so there is ants coming in from the window. So I dont think I will go back again.

Everything is near nagoya shopping area. No fuss for a one nite stay. They have adjointing rooms which are good for families.

Towels are dirty, bedsheet and pillowcase are dirty even though asked to change once Room is filled with mosquitos Breakfast - no refill after 10am...not informed of breakfast timing Requested for additional pillow upon booking, not provided, requested at front office numerous times, keep telling us ok. At night when return to hotel, we called again, this time was told hotel do not have enough pillow

The bed and pillow a little too hard for me, thus making my sleep a bit more unconfortable. The tv chnnels are more of Indonesia channels with only few cable channels available...not attractive especially if you stay in the room. Towels are slightly stained and I only realized that you need to place the card if you want the bedsheet changed which I didnt noticed. Otherwise, staffs are friendly and plus point - the hotel is just opposite Nagoya shopping mall.

Walking distants to Nagoya Mall. Many shops around this area.

Convenient to nagoya mall.Walking distant to mall.

All about this hotel I liked. There’s nothing that I don’t like about the hotel.

The room is spacious and clean. To make a hot drink you need to go out to the common area to get hot water. There is no mini fridge to store cold drinks.

It would be great if they have early check in like 12 pm instead of after 2pm.

The room is spartan. Towels were clean but is not white. As I stayed for 2 nights, Room was not cleaned earlier.

It was only 10am n reception called to check what time im checking out?!Chasing me away?

Location is good. Very basic room, good soundproof, no fridge, dirty towel and bed linens.

Pros: location, friendly staff and decent clean lobby. Cons: room has smell, bedsheet and towels have stains.

It was vry convenient for us to go shopping & massages

Very convenient location, near to the Nagoya shopping mall. Breakfast is very limited and not replenish when it was run out, even though it's only half-way through the breakfast available time. Also needed to wait for my sunny-side eggs for 20mins.

The room was clean. Breakfast is nice. Its verry good location as verry nearby to nagoya hill shoping mall. A lot of massage centre nearby. It would be great if could give toileteries. The aircond is not cool.

good location. convenience. can get to the mall using the DIY shop exit.

Great location . Walking distant to the mall . The rooms are clean . However the entrance door can be very difficult to open and close.

Sound proofing is bad, room has a bad smell. Other than that its OK!

Very near to Nagoya hills shopping mall. And near to Harbour Bay ferry terminal.

Restaurant were too small for breakfast.. and not much variety but good location for shopping.

Convenient to shops and eateries.

Location Staff attitude Reasonable price Good breakfast

Excellent short stay. Good location with local standard shopping mall just acriss the street. Choices of eateries and safe surrounding.

Location is very good very very near to amenities ard Nagoya Hill....

The property failed to find the hotel room I booked and ended up gave us another type of room at the ground floor.

Just opposite Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. Massage spas and eating establishments everywhere around the hotel.

Location is good. Breakfast so so. Room cleanliness is not to my standards at least. Air-con is not cold even after call for the service :-(

Returned customer. Great stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Will come back again during next visit in Batam.

Very nice location - walking distance to massage, food, shopping mall. If table is movable and bigger, it will be better. Staffs there were friendly and nice.

the phone line was not working, and food service was basic

A great area for family vacation . Safe and clean .

Clean place and friendly staff. Within shopping district, next to the largest mall in Batam

There was a rubbish dump smell coming out with the air from the aircon. Tried to reduce fan speed but smell still comes in. My room is facing the slope at the back of the hotel. I noticed some rubbish bags being thrown there. The smell could be from there Hope the hotel can take steps to clean up the back of the hotel. Otherwise hotel room is clean and tidy. Staff is helpful. Breakfast was good.

The tv remote control for a room went missing right after room service sweep the room when we checked out. We went back up and search the entire room but it was gone. Situation seems a bit iffy as that is the only room without tips and we have used the remote last to switch off the tv before leaving the room.

Near Nagoya Mall. Stay was pleasent. Keep up the good work!

Centralised and right in town convenient while shopping and assessable to various locations.

Room n toilet is simple and average size, space is comfortable. However, the floor is extremely dirty and sticky. I doubt it was ever cleaned or moped. My 3.5 year old girl love to remove her footwear in the hotel room but not able to do so due to the dirty floor. Bed definitely has bugs, both me n my girl was bitten very badly, red bumps all over. Hotel service is ok, requested for extra pillow, they ran out of it but did offered bolster instead. Door knocking is very loud cos using metal piece to hit the door. Any other room knocking can disturb you from sleep. Location is very good, directly next to the mall but don’t think I will come back again due to the poor cleanliness and noise.

Location is very convenient as it's very near to nagoya hill mall. I think it's ok if you want to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Worth the price.

For a budget hotel amaris stands out with excellence service bfast rooms.there are sme minor issues which i thnk in due cause cld b find tune.

Hotel was ok only that the aircon not cooling enough and the room too near to each other until can hear outside noise.

Good location near facilities eg: mall, massage and food

Room number 218, the door was locked everyday from the outside. Could not get into the room. Must report to receptionist. Receptionist tried his best calling but engineer and room servixe department did not reply. Waiting at receptionist counter very long to open the door for us. Im a regular customer actually, stayed at amaris more than 5 times. First time dissapointed.

I am stay in level 5 nearby meeting room. whole night is noisy with trolley sound, human sound. Really terrible cannot sleep well totally.

All the staffs are friendly and always greetings you with a smile.

Like my previous review, love this budget hotel.. here i am again.. in batam with this hotel.. not expensive, comfortable.. suitable for those not so high standard class people.. This time, the food standard has improved. Food taste was so much better then before..

Not so good

nearby Nagoya Hill Mall, just across the road. many spas and karaoke places. Cinema and supermarket nearby. lotsa eateries. the breakfast provided is quite alright. Just have a strange smell from the bathroom.

Love the fact the hotel was just across Nagoya Hill Mall. However, our room was not ready when we reached hotel at 2pm. The hotel staff was kind enough to hold our bags for us while we went for lunch. Really a no frills kind of hotel. Good if only need room for resting.

The hotel is located near Nagoya Hill Mall. A good place to stay in if you are looking for a budget hotel. Staffs are friendly. Environment is good. Price is acceptable. Been staying in this hotel whenever I come to shop at Nagoya Hill Mall.

I like to stay here whenever i come to batam... this trip is my 4th stay. Right beside Nagoya Mall. But this trip, the room wifi is abit annoying... On n Off doesnt seemed to connect well. Another is the hotel is near mosque... so you have a “natural” alarm clock at 5am (6am SG time)

Given that this is a 3 star hotel, should have high hopes. However, it is quite disappointing due to the reasons: - mouldy showerhead - water dispenser outside the rooms have no water - only given one pair of slippers for a superior room meant for 2 - cleaner splash water on to floor during breakfast, dirty water is transferred to food. Very unhygienic... Almost vomited there and then. Pros: - friendly reception - location

Near to Nagoya Hill Shopping mall. Convenient. Also near to Harbour Bay terminal

A hotel with basic facilities located in excellent area.

hotel has a good location. Room was below average. We have two connecting room and both aircons were not in good working condition. Only got it fixed informing the front desk twice. After room service on the second day, one towel went missing. Again have to go to front desk twice to get the towel. Wifi have to re-log in everytime you leave hotel. I would say that the front desk guy is good, courteous and helpful. Breakfast well, fried rice, fried noodle, one vegetable dish, one chicken dish and chicken porridge.. that's all. I supposed about the same price other hotel could have better breakfast but still I can live with it since its near mall.

location is great, just steps away from shopping centre. However room is a bit small with min space.good for a night stay

If you want to shopping, this hotel is near to all amenities. Karaoke, shopping mall, massage, therapy, etc. etc.

Good location. Convinion for shopping massage and food. But the room is too small. ...smaller then showed in picture.

Room sound proofing can no good. Noise from corridor and adjacent units can be heard. Early in the morning, nearby prayer from loud speaker can be heard which may disturb your sleep. Its no problem to me but i think future guest should know about this condition if you are sensitive towards noise.

Location is very close to massage centre & Nagoya Mall. Family Karaoke is also next to the hotel which convenient for ladies to go out even late night.

Value for Money stay. Can get what we paid for, ok Lah staying.

Great Place To Stay As Shop Nearby, Pleasant Stay & Great Prices.

The location is good. Opposite Nagoya Hill mall. The hotel is located along a stretch of shops. Just few shops away from a Massage and Spa saloon (Reborn). Very basic small and clean room. Provided toilette and towel. The breakfast was surprisingly quite good although not must variety for the price of the room that still come with free breakfast. The check in was smooth just that our 2nd room was not ready and waited very long for it. We have called so many times to the front desk and they kept telling us will be ready soon (30 mins).

A decent stay. Would be back again for sure. Only that the toilet need to be scrub not just mop it dry. When I was in the shower black stains start coming out from the floor and also the walls.

It's good location with shopping center just beside.

Staff at Amaris Hotel are ever helpful and nice. Room was nice and clean upon arrival, although the toilet washing area was a tad bit slippery. Not sure if that is a norm as they clean up prior but do be careful. Stay was a breeze and excellent. Would definitely recommend if on a budget and not fussy.

To those who prefer clean, affordable this is the hotel to book.

It was a convenient hotel, situated just opposite Nagoya Hill shopping mall. The hotel may not be luxurious but it had all the necessary things that made our stay comfortable. The extras such as hot beverage with keropok and crunchy nuts from 2 pm to 10 pm was such a nice welcome for my family as we sat and talked. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was all right.

Been here before.. So its like home.. Staff are friendly.. Breakfast is awesome.. Lots of choices..

It was satisfying stay. Good location as it was opposite the mall. Many eateries and massage centres. Practically enough activities for various age groups near hotel.

Reasonable hotel, no frills. Good location next to large mall where you can get almost anything you forgot to bring during holiday. 5 - 10 mins walk brings you to nearby beer taps.

The hotel is located just next to the Mega mall at Nagoya Hill. Excellent location... Just a minute away from the hotel. Amazing !!! Rooms were spacious and Clean. Breakfast is moderate with local flavours. Overall every thing was great. Will come back again when in Batam.... Enjoy !!!!

Staff are helpful..provide me praying mat and iron given to me intantly..breakfast are good..

Friendly helpful staff. Convenient place for shopping and massage. Easy to check in and out.
