Very nice place and so convenient to the airport. The adjoining pub was lovely and food superb.

The room was spacious and both that and the bathroom were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Shower was great. The view was fine - trees - and we were not overlooked. Tea and coffee making facilities were good. We always found a parking space. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We had one evening meal there which was OK. There were other restaurants to choose from in Wilmslow, so that is what we did. We would stay here again if in the area.

The room was very warm, and certain areas between doors in the corridors were very warm. We did use the fan provided and our window opened fully. It was OK in the end. We were on the top floor. Our TV did not work on the last morning. We would have mentioned this when we checked out, but there was no one at reception at that time.

Great 36 room hotel with large spacious and clean rooms and large bed. Pub/restaurant attached and the food and wine were superb. It also has its own on site car park. Hotel is ideal for a pre flight stay from Manchester Airport if you want to avoid airport hotels. It took 20 minutes to Terminal 2 and was much better value than the airport hotels.

The noise of movement upstairs and being woken when the pub turns out. Although I guess not everyone is up early for the airport.

I stayed here the night before my flight from Manchester airport. The reception staff we very welcoming and gave clear instructions on breakfast times, room location, and check out details. The room was clean and fresh with a clean and modern bathroom. There is a bar & restaurant that shares the car park with the hotel which provides lovely, reasonably priced food and drinks and has an outdoor seating area with an open fire.

Comfortable bed!! Nice room. Convenient to town with lots of food options. Not far from the airport. We ate in the attached pub for dinner and breakfast. Both great.

The people on the floor above were stomping around quite loudly as the floor boards seem quite thin. But not too much of an issue really.

Lodge achter een pub/restaurant. De kamer was ruim en schoon, het bed was goed en de badkamer schoon met een prima douche. Het eten in het restaurant is uitstekend en het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het was wat warm op de gang en de kamer, er is geen airco.

The hotel was lovely, clean and modern and at only £99 it was an absolute bargain for the night. We went to see a show at wythenshaw park so this hotel was situated perfectly.

Maybe a slightly better sofa bed in the room but its not a pressing issue

Welcomed by friendly staff, room was a good size, bed, pillows, bedding all very comfortable. Large TV, usual tea & coffee provided. Our room was serviced to a high standard. A few steps away is the lovely pub, again friendly staff, good food. We’d definitely love to stay here again.

Bed, breakfast, dinner and staff are all outstanding. Certainly among the best I have encountered and I have travelled extensively for business. The location is very conveniently located re. our office and the immediate area also allows for a nice stroll in The Carss and to Industrial heritage site Quarry bank.

Previously it had been very warm weather which naturally leads to warm rooms. A fan is kindly provided in each room but ventilation options might be improved. The fire doors (while sensible) also prevent any warmth from leaving the builiding. Another point of interest is that the cold water runs quite hot for the first 1-2 minutes and the bathroom ventilator seemed not to work. All of this did certainly not diminish the pleasure of my stay as the fact that I never thought to mention them at the time proves :-)

Camere spaziose, pulite e ben accessoriata. Bagno nuovo ottima doccia. Posizione ottima per aereoporto, con disponibilità di un bel parcheggio. Ottima colazione. Staff molto gentile. La cittadina è gradevole con tanti negozi e supermercati. Abbiamo mangiato al pub buon cibo e bella atmosfera. Dovessi tornare a Manchester potrebbe essere un bel punto di riferimento. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

The corridors and the room were so hot and the window in the room didn't open enough to let enough fresh air in. Although there was a fan in the room it didn't cool it down enough. So two opening windows would be better or a ceiling fan. Could also do with a small fridge in the room

Easy check in/check out. The family room was spacious and great for 4 people - very clean and great location, 10 minute walk from the train station.

Hotel, a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Comodo anche il supermercato all’angolo. Il pub di fronte, che credo sia della stessa proprietà, serve del cibo delizioso e se si vuole si può fare colazione, tipica da pub inglese.

Nel corridoio subito dopo la reception c’era un cattivo odore, forse la moquette; mentre nell’ala dove si trovava la camera e nella stessa camera, era tutto ok.

No spares for tea and coffee easily accessible, have to ask for more. Very hot room, no A/C and window only opens a fraction.

Room was too hot, there was only a fan (no AC) and the window didn't really open to get a breeze., so just pushing hot air around the room. I appreciate you can't control the weather, but keeping the sun off the room by closing the curtains would help, and allowing for the window to open properly would help too.

Breakfast was a shocker. All we wanted was small and we paid £30. Spoke to staff and said if we were paying full price for minimal breakfast we would not return next day. There should have been concession made for guests not wanting a full breakfast. You are encouraging waste and guests overeating. Really disappointed by this.

I only used it as a place to sleep but it was ideally located for my visit to Wilmslow. The room was sufficient to my needs but was larger than an equivalent Premier Inn or Travelodge room which was very a positive feature for me

perfect location in the centre of Wilmslow. Room is a decent size with a huge TV. Small but perfectly adequate bathroom and spacious shower.

Wilmslow Lodge exceeded my expectations. The rooms were lovely and clean, staff were very friendly and excellent location.

Breakfast was overpriced for me. £15 for a full English is ok but I only liked a couple of items on the menu so ordered sausage and beans. I only got one sausage and a spoonful of beans and was charged £15. Also had to pay £15 for a child aged 7, as no child menu.

The worst continental breakfast I have ever had see photo what you see in the photo is what it consisted of. Was told the bar was open till 10.30 got back to the hotel and was told all the beer pumps had been turned of and I could not get a draught beer. The lady that I assume was the manager arrived and said that I could have a draught beer .

Bar closed at 10pm. We only arrived after a long drive. Luckily we were not hungry. The room was very hot. A fan was provided? But being on the ground floor beside reception we couldn't open a window.

It was ideally situated for visiting Quarrybank which was our prime reason for our visit, but also it was great for visiting shops and bars in Wilmslow. Car parking was good even though it was a busy weekend. The link up with the Coach and Four worked well. The staff were very efficient and friendly across the board.

Breakfast was average and service at breakfast was poor considering the number of guests in. it was a bit bland, no fresh fruit no airconditioning- something people would pay for for sure. towels changed after day one- annoying and unnecessary. give people an option & save the planet!!

A single fan in the room was an acknowledgment of the key problem in the hotel - poor ventilation and very hot rooms. Admittedly this recent hot spell has been extreme, but I felt for all the staff there who have to work in these conditions. Very well presented hotel that lacks ventilation let alone air conditioning. The bathroom doors are on a very strong hinge that snaps them shut and effectively seals the room and the fan in there has little or no effect.

Free Parking was advertised but after booking was advised that free parking was on a first come first served basis. We were lucky that we could just get a spot. Also it got a bit warm and then found out the grilles were still there but the AC didn't work anymore.

The location was great . The room was very clean and the bed was comfy.

I know it isn't very often that Cheshire gets hot weather ! However an Aircon system would have been nice . A fan was put in the room,which was nice but didn't really help that much. Over all a good stay and we would stay again .

Very roomy family room with double sofa bed made ready. Lots of space and good mirrors. When we arrived back at about 10.30pm and were very thirsty, we were given two bottles of tap water from the bar. We were visiting family in Wilmslow so didn’t eat at the adjoining pub but it looked great with an outdoors terrace with pizza oven and is literally outside the front door of hotel!!

The bathroom was very warm all the time. Yet the temperatures on the two days of our stay were not high (18 degrees at most )

Noise- floor boards are really creaky and doors close loudly. There is a little surrounding noise from other customers above and sides of you (not their fault).

Great room at a great price

The room was stiflingly hot, even though the mini heatwave had cooled considerably by then. There was a fab provided, though it was very noisy and not very effective.

We recently hosted a highly productive, two day commercial meeting at the Wilmslow Lodge. The staff was very professional, accommodating and responsive to our needs from the reception, housekeeping and catering. Our meeting ran smoothly, even despite the exceptionally warm weather. We also enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and shops which allowed my teammates to get some exercise and fresh air after long days of learning, debate and discussion. I look forward to hosting future meetings there.
