Schön anzusehendes Boutique Hotel. Nettes Personal. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Gemütlicher Pub im Haus. Zimmer war neu renoviert. Frühstück ok.

Unmittelbare Umgebung nicht sehr einladend.Parkhaus und ein brach liegendes Grundstück nebenan diente als grosse Müllhalde. Liegt aber nicht in Verantwortung vom Hotel. Fenster nicht zu öffnen

The fact I couldn't open the curtains without office workers seeing me. Suggest you add sheers to thr windows to provide more privacy.

Hotel bien situado. La habitación estaba muy bien, con cama cómoda incluido el sofá cama. El desayuno completo, aunque había que pagar un poquito más, era muy bueno. El personal fue super atento. Comimos allí un par de veces y todo estaba muy bueno. Y un día a la semana había música en directo. Que más se puede pedir?

Windows didn't open, but I knew this in advance. Bathroom pooled with water and no drainage outside the shower to get rid of it. neither would stop me staying again.

The room was very smartly appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the pub downstairs were great, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location and proximity to parking were excellent. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great little gem in amazing area of Manchester. The bar beside the hotel is very good and there's plenty of restaurants and bars around. Close to everything and the staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was disappointing. Stayed several times before and breakfast was fantastic. This time it was dry , as though the food had been stood under a heater for too long .

Está en el centro de Manchester y el personal es muy amable. La cama también cómoda y con una tv bien situada y grande. El baño muy moderno y reformado.

Algunas partes no estaba muy limpias, como las lámparas, y el lavabo no traga casi nada, por lo que es difícil usarlo. El edificio huele un poco raro y la ventana de la habitación no se puede abrir, por lo que es como si no tuviera ventana.

Location for party we were attending. Lots of bars with outdoor areas, but hotel quiet desite being above a pub.

Abel Heywood Boutique Hotel The hotel’s exterior blends seamlessly with the traditional character of the Northern Quarter. Its excellent location is within walking distance of the Northern Quarter’s attractions and Piccadilly railway station. The steak and ale pie was superb, served with seasonal vegetables, tasty gravy, and a choice of chips or mashed potato. Special thanks to Elliot for his attentive assistance with the bar, catering, and administrative details. The bedroom is tastefully decorated in a modern style and features a comfortable bed. The modern bathroom features an extra-large shower cubicle with an overhead rainfall shower and an adjustable hand shower for added convenience. I look forward to returning and experiencing Manchester at its best.

La camera dà un senso di claustrofobia perché non ha finestre ed è molto piccola. Il condizionatore si può usare per cambiare aria ma è posto troppo in basso e l'aria batte sul letto direttamente. Il prezzo troppo elevato per la tipologia di camera.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Tolle, zentrale Lage. Die Bar unten im Hotel ist wirklich Klasse und man kommt immer mit jemandem ins Gespräch.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, klimatisiert und gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Fahrstuhl war auch vorhanden und hat den Gepäcktransport innerhalb des Hotels erleichtert. Am Abreisetag konnten wir unsere Koffer noch bis zur Abreise deponieren. Ein Taxi hat man uns auch vorbestellt. Als Hotelgast bekommt auf Speisen einen Rabatt.

Die Preise für Speisen sind recht hoch, aber zu relativieren, wenn man die Kombi Angebote nutzt und als Hotelgast noch den Rabatt bekommt.

The location is great, right in the heart of the Northern Quarter and 10 minutes from Victoria Station. The staff were very accommodating and offered free drinks as the room wasn't quite ready for check-in. The cooked breakfast is very good too.

The first floor rooms' windows don't open so it can get a bit stuffy but there is air-conditioning.

Unten traditionelles Pub, oben Hotel - perfekte Kombi für ein echtes Manchester-Erlebnis. Das Essen im Pub war sehr gut und hausgemacht, das Frühstück ebenfalls sehr nett: neben einem kleinen Buffet konnte man von der Karte bestellen. Ruhige und trotzdem zentrale Lage. Den Ausblick auf das Parkhaus gewinnt man nach dem zweiten Tag lieb. Schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, modernes Bad, alles sehr sauber.

We loved this property for its central location, it was less then a 10 min walk for everything we wanted. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, bathroom was very clean and tidy, bed very comfortable and we really liked that the breakfast area was in a different area to the normal restaurant/pub.

We would have preferred if the windows had opened, we understand for health and safety these can’t be opened wide however a slight opening would have been lovely especially considering the warmer nights. Also the fact the air conditioning dripped a lot of water whilst being on wasn’t ideal considering one of the main plug sockets was directly underneath.

I liked the quirkiness of the room but a little bit small if you wanted more space. There are bigger rooms so we will book one when we next visit.

The bed a little small.

Comfortable, clean hotel in a lively location, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and other amenities. The room was a good size with a large, comfortable bed, lovely quality linens, a shower and bath, which is something you don't often find. The air-con was fab and staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. This hotel represents good value for money.

The room would benefit from a small fridge and net curtains (or voile blinds), allowing more natural daylight while still maintaining privacy. The pillows were a little too firm for my personal preference, but that's a minor point. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

The Roman blind let in a lot of light at the sides. This made it hard to get to sleep because of the streetlights. The pillows were a bit hard but I appreciate that’s a personal choice and for the reasonable price of the hotel you can’t expect a choice of pillows. The duvet was way too hot especially as we’d been having hot weather. I took the cover off and saw that the duvet had a 10.5 tog which was way too much. The breakfast was poor. I was there quite soon after opening and didn’t mind a wait as I thought it was being freshly prepared but when it came, apart from a watery tomato, all of it was very dry as though it had been prepared a long time earlier. I sent it back. (The buffet didn’t look appetising either, eg the oranges looked old.) I was refunded graciously and politely but i had banked on having a decent breakfast before my planned busy day.. There were a few very minor things such as lots of body lotion and shampoo provided but no shower gel, but the staff put them right immediately. The towel rail was only just hanging on by its sticky pads - this didn’t bother me but it seems it’s an ongoing issue and I’d have thought something that could easily have been fixed once and for all.

Emplacement idéal, très bon rapport qualité prix. Le fait que l'hôtel soit au dessus d'un pub rajoutait un petit plus ! Le personnel était sympathique, les chambres fonctionnelles et propres.

Rien de particulier, la chambre n'était pas très grande mais je ne m'attendais pas à plus pour le prix.

Heel gemoedelijk hotel, prachtige kamers en super ligging. Vriendelijke ontvangst, alles was erg schoon en sfeervol ingericht. De bar beneden was erg gezellig, en zorgde totaal niet voor geluidsoverlast als je eenmaal wilde slapen. Het ontbijt was ook goed: er is een beperkte keuze in producten om vrij te pakken maar je kunt ook van de kaart bestellen. Heel fijn om hier te verblijven!

The location was fantastic, right in the City Centre’s Northern Quarter and close to all shops . The rooms are spot on , great! All the staff were lovely and so friendly, felt right at home from the start of our trip . I was taking two 17 olds to a gig and the guy on reception totally sorted us out with where to go and great places to eat . Totally recommend Also pretty quiet considering the location . Air con as well was a life saver !!!

Abel Heywood was my saving grace in Manchester as I needed accomodation next day (my initial accomodation was a nightmare). The room was quiet and comfortable, had all I needed, bathroom was great and the staff were lovely. Breakfast upstairs, served simple buffet and menu options. Wasn't included in my booking but was pretty cheap. Would come again!
