Flott hótel
The stay went very well. Staff very pleasant and helpful
Bed was incredibly comfortable, decent breakfast too
Absolutely unbelievable breakfast. One of the rare 4 stars to do a warm buffet. Wonderful staff, great cozy rooms and views.
The room was fantastic a good size and very comfortable, the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is great right next to the train station and very close to the shopping .
The only thing I didn't like was the world cup was on and the two stations I wanted to watch matches on were not on the TV, ITV 1 and BBC 2
Lovely tiles in the bathroom, comfortable bed & great location to city & rail station
Nothing
Clean, modern and finished to a high standard
Nothing
The location of Hotel Indigo is superb, literally just steps from the railway station. Central to almost everything, within walking distance to all the best shopping areas and close also to the entertainment areas. Directly opposite the hotel is a park with lots of trees, garden areas and places to sit either on provided seating or with a rug, on the grass. This park also has a fabulous water feature, my favourite!
I have no complaints on any level.
Très bon petit déjeuner, hôtel bien situé.

The hotel is next to Manchester Victoria Station so very convenient if coming there. There are many bars/restaurants and shopping opportunities a very short distance away. The hotel itself is modern and my accessible room was spacious with crisp bed linen and soft towels. The bathroom was perfect for me as it had a shower stool. Water pressure was poor but temperature was fine. The bed was really comfortable but too high i suspect for a wheelchair user. The hotel needs to think about this. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard. Staff were attentive. I didnt use the bar.

Lovely warm welcome and upgraded thank you
Nothing it was fabulous
Modern. Clean. Central. Perfect for the arena. Great breakfast. Lovely restaurant
Nothing
Excellent location. Nice modern hotel with really comfortable beds & blackout curtains made for a good nights sleep. Staff at front desk were very helpful & friendly
Had everything we needed and lovely staff.
All was good.
Jättebra läge, trevlig personal och stort fräscht rum. Mycket god frukost med många valmöjligjeter. Frukostvärdinnan var trevlig och hjälpsam. Vi är mycket nöjda
Ottima posizione, stanza accogliente e pulita, staff gentilissimo
No thing
Didn’t just put a charge on my card . But took money out of my bank that did not relate to anything, was not shown on my invoice and with no explanation , but saying they putting a hold of £50 which would be put back in acouple of days . This has been there policy since March this year . This needs to be transparent through either booking.com or direct with the hotel booking . I will to see if these funds are returned in couple of days. No other hotel I’ve staying in around the world had done this and very irregular

Good location always helpful staff
Booked a twin room and although I understand that it’s not always guaranteed with the booking I made I felt I gave enough notice for this to be arranged…especially as I had informed I’d be staying with my dad who is in his 60s… Once I was informed that only a double bed was available for me and my father, I requested to have two single duvet covers I was told this wouldn’t be a problem, but when I asked later on that evening I was told none were available. The room had some slight dust under the furniture and the tea mugs weren’t clean
Great central location, modern rooms, comfortable and big king size bed. Good toiletries, rain shower, and very clean.
Despite being a modern property, the TV system is abysmal. The streaming services available are limited and there was no network connection. I find this very poor given the hotel being built in 2018, and system not reflecting modern life.
Good location, clean
All amenities need to be requested, even though they should be readily available in the room. I informed housekeeping and reception to clean the room before leaving, but when I returned late at night, the room was not cleaned and no towels had been changed. They offered me a complimentary breakfast; I requested only a banana, but I did not receive any.
Location and decor were the best thing about the hotel. The staff were also friendly and attentive.
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
Fabulous location Amazing room Staff were helpful and friendly
A friendly welcome, very clean, a great location , very comfortable bed, excellent facilities in the room and the breakfast was delicious. Right next to Victoria train station.
Nothing
Great breakfast with lots of choice. Helpful staff. Lovely room and it was ready early. Comfy beds and amenities in room. Good location for station and AO arena
Poor plumbing in our bathroom which left a bad smell. Sink didn't empty well. Dust in fridge cupboards

Ingenting❤️
Great location, rooms were good.
Great location and room. No hairdryer. Breakfast was unusually poor. Dried bacon. Extra hot ordered breakfast - eggs, spinach on sourdough - was v bland and no taste. My friend ordered same and agreed. Our table waiter was also v informally dressed and we thought he was a fellow customer until he cleared our plates. V odd as other staff were presentable and with name badges.
Clean and convenient
Everything was good
Rooms were excellent
Nothing
Very well positioned hotel , friendly staff, very clean and excellent restaurant and food.
Adjustable shower heads need some metenance, unable to adjust height.
It was so close to the station, and convenient for the print works, which has a cinema, we were going to see a film, also handy for the restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful, room a good size and the bathroom was excellent very modern, best shower unit.
Just a couple of things, the bathroom had a smell of drains, a very strong one. The bedside lighting could only be turned off at one side, a twin room, so each bed should be able to turn on and off their lights. The fridge, had a small complimentary bottle of water, I would’ve had two, one for each guest.
The historical context style décor to reflect its tea and tobacco past. Dressing gowns in wardrobes.
Everything. This is the second time I've stayed here and it didn't disappoint. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely room, fab breakfast and great location 😀
Nothing
Comfortable room with fridge, supplies restocked daily. Lovely staff, good restaurant.
Nothing
Beautifully clean room , with crisp white linen on extremely comfortable bed. Tasteful decor Gorgeous bathroom with very large shower.
Nothing, everything was great
Great location my Victoria station. Very well appointed hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable. Reasonable room rate.
£50 deposit per night. I don’t care for them and don’t think are necessary. Comment not complaint but pool wellness is actually in Nuffield health centre over the road. Reduction gives you very reasonable day pass however.
La ubicacion es perfecta y las vistas sensacionales. Hay un centro comercial “Arndale” justo al costado que te saca de apuros.
El desayuno es muy mejorable.
Great location. Nice rooms with all the facilities you could want. Friendly staff.
The sound of trams in the morning.
This hotel is perfectly situated in Manchester, right next to ALL transportation from local to airport to trains to anywhere.Shopping and dinning are minutes away The staff are always friendly, patient and helpful. I have stayed here many times mostly for business and it is the only place I will stay for both business AND pleasure. This is brought about by the professional staff but especially Jane and Mo on the front desk. I don’t know anywhere else where they remember my first name even after I have not visited for several weeks. Nothing is to much trouble for these two lovely people and they go about their work with such warm and caring attitude they are the reason I will not stay anywhere else.
We were really surprised by the size of the room, it is very big. You can see Victoria station from the window on one side, and the National Football museum on the other. It is literally 10 metres distance :-)) The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The locations is right on the nicest side of downtown, where you have a lot of old fashioned pubs in the vicinity.
Rain :-))
Great location, rooms were large, stylish & clean
Nothing really, although the breakfast buffet could have been a t hotter
Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at a hotel. Clean, quirky room and perfect location for the station and NQ a short walk away.
Nothing worth mentioning really.
I was lucky to be the guest of the day and so was offered free late checkout. The late checkout request was accommodated without any hassle and was very helpful. Staff was polite and efficient. Quiet and comfortable room. Absolutely nothing to complain about !
Nothing, it was excellent!
Absolutely gorgeous room, quirky hotel, we loved it!
Ali on the reception was an outstanding employee, he'll go far.....!
Nothing to dislike.
The hotel was so central..right next to Victoria Station..The hotel was beautiful..receptionists were lovely..I would definitely stay here again
Perfect location, lovely rooms and so clean.

Close to the Arena where I was attending a convention
Nothing
lovely comfy bed great aircon in the room i am disabled and needed a little help and the staff rushed to help me an absolute bonus was a disabled parking right outside the hotel there was only two spaces but i got one and i could park there with no restriction so for me it was perfect but i am not sure what would of happened if i could not of parked there i had a lovely breakfast served to me and it was lovely and hot but i think maybe it should of been served on a hot plate but im not really complaining i would like to stay there again for the convention next august
everything
My 1st visit to this Hotel, I always stay at Crowne Plaza on my regular visits to Manchester. Good location, nice vibes when you enter the hotel. Check in 3pm. Massive queue, only one person checking in 8 people waiting. Waited 20 mins, then told room not ready , take a seat. About 20 mins later room available. Whilst we were waiting, because we were Platinum Members we were given the usual voucher for 2 drinks. I asked for a lager, my wife asked for a house Gin. Not allowed a spirit we were told. OK . (Previous night we stopped at Holiday Inn Express Salford, and were offered any drinks from the bar plus snacks. (Very good for Holiday Inn). I had parked my car at the Printworks, so I asked reception for the code for a reduction. Did you pre book, NO i replied, well you cant use the code its only if you pre book prior to coming to the hotel. How would I have got the code if I park prior to check in. Speak with the Parking Company, I was told. So up to the room, which was great, nice and clean, nice view, big bed, evrything you need. Couldnt ask for more in the room. Would I recomend this hotel , YES, but ring the Hotel 1st for the Parking Code before you park, there are no drop off areas near the hotel . Crowne Plaza or Indigo, its just little things that sway me back to Crowne Plaza, (even Holiday Inn Salford Quays}
The room we booked was very spacious, as was the bathroom. It allowed me to work in comfort and was very close to AO arena (next door), which meant I didn't have to factor in travel to make it to a gig after work.
Breakfast was quite expensive if booked through the hotel, there were better options at the cafe attached for a much more reasonable price.
Location to train station and ao arena, comfy bed
Cooked breakfast wasn't very warm and sausages weren't very nice
The location is perfect, next to the train station, taxi stand and bus stops are nearby with loads of shops around, very accessible. Rooms are clean with good service from the housekeeping staff. There is a gym where my friend can do the workout there and my friend is very happy with that.
There is no car park in the hotel but only takes 5 mins walk to the nearby car park with good security system, so not bad.
Convenient for AO Arena, literally 2 minute walk. Hotel Indigo is a lovely building and the rooms are superb. We were in room 115 which was a large room with King Bed. We were half board and our evening meal was excellent, good quality food. All staff were helpful, friendly & chatty.
The stairs can only be used if requested so it’s lift use only. If you’re only on first floor, it would be quicker to use stairs but they are only for emergencies or as a special request. Breakfast is a bit limited for vegetarians.
Welcoming excellent food , rooms lovely highly recommended
The location, staff and room were wonderful.
We had some plumbing issues within our room, the taps were running inconsistently, the shower turned its self off. And there was a constant noise coming from the the drains
Beds are comfy good quality pillows
This is the second time ive been here firstt time was last year and the shower was turning on and off with water pressure and going scolding hot the manager last year said will check this and sort so I thought ok let's give it a chance again as location is great and the balcony however shower issue is exactly the same. So no now I will not stay again and I am hugely disappointed. 13th floor no water pressure... you need to fix this. Paying 200 per nighy to have scolding hot shower on and off pressure not ok...
Every single member of staff were so pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left
The room was amazing and food was beautiful staff so friendly
Could hear tram and feel the shaking from tram
Literally two minute walk from Victoria Station
Nothing not to like really
Great location, have stayed here many times before for that reason.
I requested interconnecting rooms, or, if not possible, two rooms next to each other. When we arrived, they told us it wouldn’t be possible to have adjacent rooms but they would be on the same floor. We left our bags and went out, then returned later to check in after 3pm. They then tried to give us one room on floor 3 and one room on floor 10. I explained that I had requested adjacent rooms at the time of booking and been assured this wouldn’t be a problem, and that earlier in the day we’d been promised two rooms at least on the same floor but now apparently they’re seven floors apart?? They did eventually find us rooms together but one turned out to be an accessible room and the bathroom was a wet room, which wasn’t ideal for an able bodied person and this room should really have remained available for somebody who actually needed it. Ultimately, considering I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 12 months, I just think it would be nice to have that loyalty rewarded with some basic consideration. It’s not as if we were asking for an upgrade or anything like that, just two rooms next to each other. Surely that’s a simple request for a party travelling together when the two rooms have been booked together under the same reservation.

Great hotel very good location, friendly helpful staff, excellent restaurant and very good food.

Lo Arion to the Ao arena, modern and clean, spacious rooms
Nothing
Hotel Indigo was a wonderful surprise. Conveniently close to the train station and close to all sorts of activities. Highly recommended.
Very convenient for AO arena and station. Excellent rooms and food. Small problem with room professionally dealt with by Faiza and Mo . All staff very friendly. Would recommend for a stay in central Manchester
Excellent location
There was Pooh in the toilet
Great location and very clean and comfortable
Nothing to dislike
Fantastic location and really clean hotel. Was a bonus that they give us a complimentary upgrade to the top floor
Nothing, everything was great
Location is perfect for the AO stadium and shops.
Breakfast not good. The buffet hot breakfast was anything but hot. Ordered poached eggs on another morning and they turned up hard and cold. The waiting staff were lovely but so busy. Maybe need more staff in the kitchen.
Lovely room. Staff very friendly. Nice breakfast, Great Location

The Reception was so inviting, manned by happy, polite, friendly & helpful team who took time to explain the hotel amenities/layout and any offers they had, while taking time to answer any queries. My husband & I were advised although we thought we had booked "room only", we did in fact have a free breakfast - a very welcome surprise!. The room itself was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Although the weather outside was extremely hot, the room was airy, fresh and a comfortable temperature. Our view looked out over the main tram route which was really interesting to see and were not bothered by late night noise which a City centre hotel can sometimes attract. We travelled over from North Wales by train to attend an event at the AO Arena and the location both for Victoria Station and the Arena couldn't have been better! Upon arrival, we decided to check out the hotel's "Todd's bar" and was served a light lunch by a lovely, friendly Asian waitress before having a quick wander around Manchester - again, a perfect spot for the Arndale Centre and Salford Quays with dozens of eateries of all nationalities & culinary delights on offer. After freshening up in the luxurious accessible bathroom, we headed down to the hotel bar Mamucium for pre-show drinks and was served once again by the delightful waitress from Todd's bar who remembered us, even though the hotel was fully booked. Being so near to AO Arena it was nice that we didn't have a long walk there or back, and again called in for a nightcap before going up to sleep in the very comfortable Queen sized bed where we both slept soundly. Check out not being until 11am afforded us a little lie in before heading down to breakfast. Again, the staff were all so friendly, happy and keen to please.
Had a great time very friendly and helpful highly recommended 👌
Great location easy check in and out Mo & Faiza excellent on front desk
Perfect location for the AO arena. Staff were lovely and room was clean and comfortable.
Was quite expensive for one night
Excellent hotel, perfect position for the AO arena and Victoria Station. Smooth check in and check out,Mo andFaiza on reception were very efficient.Good food and bar.
Everything was excellent for our one night stay.
Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of food choices.
-
Very close to AO arena. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great bar menu.
Expensive. Mould around the shower so did not use. Could not find light switch for bedside tables.. turns out the book shelf lamp was hiding the light switch so did not sleep well due to lights being on all night. Beds were extremely high. Could not connect the tv to the internet. Bar staff on phones making it highly unprofessional when waiting to be served.
Well placed and comfortable
Room was very clean and spacious, shower was great, and staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location from Victoria Station, and easy walking around city centre.
I wish the shower had some kind of curtain or barrier, as it was inevitable to get water all over the floor.
Great hotel great location very good restaurant and excellent food. Very friendly staff.
Leaving.
La ubicación, cerca de todo y muy bien comunicado. La habitación era muy grande y bonita, las camas muy cómodas, el personal súper atento y amable. El desayuno súper completo. Nos ha gustado todo.
No hay nada q no nos haya gustado.
I did not have breakfast
We had a fantastic stay, and a huge part of that was thanks to Faiza at the front desk! From the second we arrived, she went above and beyond for us. Not only did she arrange an early check-in so we could settle in after our long journey up North, but she also took the time to map out the local spots to visit during our trip. The location is absolutely spot-on, making it super easy to get around, and the rooms are beautifully decorated.
Good clean room. Perfect central location. Good breakfast with a good choice of English and continental.
Reception team were not welcoming. No eye contact. The male receptionist was checking his mobile phone during our check in.
The price, location, staff, facilities and modern interior
lack of atmosphere for a city center hotel bar on a saturday night.
We stayed in Indigo Hotel Manchester Victoria Station for 5 nights 23-28 July 2026. On Saturday 25 July 2026, we went out. We locked our suitcases with padlocks (which we do everyday we've stayed at the hotel). When we returned to the hotel in the evening and wanted to open one of the suitcase, we noticed that the padlock was tampered with - we couldn't open the padlock with the key and we noticed that the padlock key hole was badly tempered with, like something was used to bang the padlock. This incidence was reported to Reception/ hotel management, and they sent someone to have a look, she examine padlocked, acknowledged padlock had been tempered with, she took pictures. She, & assistant then prompted, broke the padlock, as key was no longer able to unlock padlock & the replaced with a new padlock - which they gave us, and then informed us that, this would be investigated. On Monday morning 27 July, two people knocked on our door saying that they were investigating the incidence and would let us know the outcome. We heard nothing from them about the outcome. Myself and my wife had to go to Reception to find out the outcome of their investigation. We met the Shift Manager, who said that it was only the cleaner & ourselves (guest) that gained entrance to the room on the day. He said it could not be the cleaner because she had been working with them for 5 years and they asked her. But the question remains, who gained entry to the room to tamper with our suitcase padlock - it couldn't have been us, could it? We requested a copy of the report for the investigation, the shift manager promised to email us the summary of what occurred and their investigation - although he was asking why and we informed him it was required for records. So far, shift manager has not emailed report of investigations, which we are still expecting. The customer service, was great especially Jane and Faiza. Both were very helpful and professional, I would rate them 5 out of 5, for being professional in their customer service. The Shift Manager on Monday evening (27/7/26) wasn't really helpful, & would give him 2 out of 5 for effort. Location was fantastic, with amenities as shops, trams, football museum shopping centres etc locally accessible. Atmosphere good, ambiance & views, excellent, rooms good size and value for money. Cleanliness - good.
I have stayed at multiple IHG hotels, including this one two weeks ago, so I expected a much better experience. After our first night's stay, we specifically asked the receptionist before heading out for the day to ensure that our bed sheets and towels were changed. We were assured that this would be done, but when we returned, neither the sheets nor the towels had been changed. In addition, the TV did not work throughout our stay, and the toilet did not flush properly. When raising these issues with the receptionist he was extremely rude and quite aggressive in his tone. As he was when we checked out. Very unprofessional and not what is acceptable Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the standards I have come to expect from IHG hotels.
We had a four night stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel is great for city centre shopping and eating out. My sister had a room on floor 11 with great views our room was on the 1st floor in the older part of the hotel .We didn't have such a great view and our room was considerably smaller but it was still a very nice room. The food at breakfast was good but the coffee was terrible apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed at this hotel the night before flying out of the Manchester airport. It is very close and convenient to Victoria station and that is the main reason we chose it. We were able to check in a little early (around 2pm) and were very pleasantly surprised to discover how nice the rooms are. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and we enjoyed the complimentary cupcake left on our bed with a 20% discount offer for the hotel breakfast. The hotel is in a good location near restaurants, the Manchester Cathedral, and the National Football Stadium. There were good fresh options at breakfast including English breakfast foods, Swiss breakfast options, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee machine, etc.
the staff was very helpful and the room was lovely and clean lovely comfy bed could not fault this place except that i was not told when i booked it that i had to pay £50 per night extra and i would recieve it back after i leave . i was not happy about that as it could of taken me into my overdraft . i checked out of the hotel yesterday afternoon and i have not been given the money back . hence the 3 stars
Being from the USA, I appreciated the AC in the room. No other hotel I stayed at, during my trip to the UK, had AC that performed during the heat wave they were experiencing.
The room was shaped like a slice of cake. It wasn’t bad, but was different.
Everyone made us very welcome. Hotel was excellent location for Victoria Station and shopping. Nice clean bedrooms. Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. Menu was great choice and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend or stay there again.

8.4/10Many describe rooms as comfortable and stylish with very comfortable beds, though isolated room issues reported (cold rooms, noisy air conditioning, bathroom door not closing, blocked sink, small/noisy room 115).
Amenities
8/10Mixed: good restaurant/bar and breakfast choices, reasonable parking arrangement offsite; negatives include no hot water for one stay, no tea bags in a room, limited nighttime room service options.
Value for Money
8.2/10Generally considered good value for a city-centre stay by several guests, though a few felt single-night pricing could be slightly high.
Food and Beverage
8.7/10Breakfast and restaurant strongly praised by many (some called the breakfast amazing), but some criticisms around temperature of cooked breakfast and inconsistent coffee machines / buffet vs table service preferences.
Overall Experience
9.2/10Overall very positive with multiple guests saying they'd definitely return or recommending the hotel; standout staff, location and cleanliness drive strong overall satisfaction.
