Coworth Park - Dorchester Collection

Beautiful, quiet location. Wonderful staff.

Beautiful property, service amazing, Spa amazing and piano man at night was excellent.

This is an amazing property!

Excellent service.

Our stay at Coworth park was rather underwhelming and disappointing. As one reviewer mentioned, we were given a room at the Stables and whenever someone in another room closed the door, our whole room rattled. It made it impossible to get total peace and quiet. Cleanliness of our room was spot on though, and there's nothing to complain about that. However, general customer service at Coworth park was lacklustre. Indeed, as compared to other 5 star UK hotels, we found it to be one of the most underwhelming.

We were really looking forward to staying at Coworth Park after having a couple of lovely stays at The Dorchester. Unfortunately it just did not live up to our expectations. Upon arrival we weren’t greeted by any staff or doormen. Check-in was not very personable or overly friendly. It just felt a bit flat and awkward. Our son did an hours hack at the equestrian centre and that was lovely and the lady who took him out was very friendly and encouraging of our son. We then went for lunch at the dining room, service was slow and intermittent. We ordered our food and when it arrived my burger had a relish in that was not mentioned on the menu which was not to my taste, they also asked how we would like the burger cooked and yet it was overdone (can’t see the point of asking, if you are not going to cook it as requested.) burger was also very dry and flavourless. Chips were lovely however. We also requested an extra tea cup from the host, and he never actually brought it over. Overall a very disappointing dining experience. We then had access to our room. This is where the big problems started. The rooms in the stable area are very noisy. They are positioned like chalets and are quite enclosed in that area. When someone shuts their door in your block, your whole door rattles really noisily. This made having a peaceful sleep or relaxing in the room impossible. The cleanliness of the room was also a massive problem. The room was VERY unclean.

Pool area under construction

We had an amazing stay at Coworth Park, we loved our lunch at Woven and Afternoon Tea, the room was very nice and we received lots of anniversary treats.

All good. Most staff were exemplary, Though just a few were in need of a little warming up to melt their frostiness.

Lovely room, beautiful grounds and excellent staff.

This is such a special place to stay . I come every year during December , because it’s so beautiful and festive . The staff are friendly and a warm welcome is always there for us . The service and attention to detail is 5 star and the rooms are luxurious , with the most comfortable beds on earth !

Glorious stay at Coworth and dinner at Woven. The staff at Coworth were very welcoming and went to great effort to cater for my dietary requirements (vegan and gluten free) both during the dinner at Woven and throughout my stay. Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone looking for a treat and exemplary service.

Wonderful stay, it’s a beautiful hotel with so many different spaces to relax and enjoy. It was super Christmasy and the staff were so friendly.

The reception was very excellent and the hospitality was great. Thank you for the excellent service.

Amazing stay for my wife and baby. They looked after them so well. Very relaxing.

Beautiful place, excellent service, Sanjeev was exceptionally attentive and understanding.

Gorgeous every time

.

Excellent property with great for power walking

One of my all time favorite hotels, everything from room to service to spa facilities and grounds.

Quiet place. Walkable.

Stunning property. Extensive grounds, excellent service, great food choices, lovely spa and beautiful rooms. There is no outdoor pool or sauna, only an indoor pool, however it is huge, and there is a steam room. Service charge added to all food and drink items.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. We stayed in the stables and the room was perfect. Great dining options, lovely spa, and the grounds are extensive for biking and walking. Top service throughout the property.

We loved the hotel and our stay was exceptional … the staff were remarkably professional and made our stay even better…

A beautiful property with lovely staff to help celebrate our special occasion

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff made us feel special .The Superior room at the Mansion House was spacious and the view from the window was a picture postcard Bathroom had a beautiful bath embraced in brass A good size walk in shower with large rain head shower. Water pressure was excellent. Lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom. Spacious wardrobes with hairdryer, mini bar , fridge, safe and tea and coffee facilities . The room was bright and welcoming. Tasteful decor throughout. Room service was extremely efficient and anything ordered be it a three course meal or a club sandwich was cooked fresh and delivered to your room within 20 minutes. Breakfast in the restaurant had a varied menu .Dinner in the Barn and food was amazing and again the service first class. The onion soup was to die for. Dinner in the Mansion House had a larger menu and again the service and food excellent. The spa was so incredibly relaxing. We took advantage of several of the treatments including full body massages , facials manicures and pedicures. All excellent. The pool was magnificent with 15 large amethyst geodes on plinths adding to the calming ambience of the area.Without a doubt the best Spa resort I have ever encountered and the service at the Mansion House exceeded all expectations. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This hotel envelopes you in warmth & comfort in a very professional manner

Booked as overnight stay, thoroughly impressed with the property in beautiful grounds. The highlight was the swimming with my son, where we had the pool to ourselves, The staff were welcoming and attentive. Definitely want to return just to try the cycling and playrooms. A fantastic nights stay.

Peaceful spot with lots of activities to keep you as busy or slow as you like.

Great stay will be going back- staff were excellent

Fabulous hotel, so friendly and good fun

Incredible staff, attention to detail & hospitality

first class stay

Excellent Service

Everything was amazing from start to finish, service, room, food and grounds. I do not normally give reviews or praise easily but this trip for my wives birthday was made exceptional due to the hotel.

Friendly staff, the best service. Seamless. Could not fault.

A return visit so knew what to expect. This time managed to book a table in the main restaurant - had the 6 course tasting menu and cooking was above expectations although service a bit frenetic. The hotel is beautifully situated with lovely grounds and also a short walk from Windsor Great Park where you can work up an appetite! The public area's are all very comfortable and the staff very attentive. Overall a very relaxing place for a short break.

Amazing hotel.. loved it.. great quick break. Staff were great

Fantastic from start to finish! Impeccable service, excellent facilities and stunning room with scenic views. Breakfast and dinner was delicious.

Hotel is stunning, service by everyone is out of this world and the room is beautiful and clean. Absolutely gorgeous hotel.

Essentially this is the Dorchester in a country house hotel with all that you would expect!

Coworth Park is such an amazing place. You can't fault it. Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff! Would highly recommend.

Sensational place to stay. Lovely staff.

Beautiful property in stunning grounds and very helpful , friendly staff - lovely Christmas decorations !!

Absolutely everything about this place is top notch, from the bedrooms, amenities, service!, the amazing restaurants, afternoon tea and bar, the spa. Amazing place for a couple and kids. I especially loved the buggy transport service. I'll definitely be back next year.

Everything was amazing from the room to the restaurants, service and spa - completely faultless.

Totally Awesome Experience as everything was first rate and extremely convenient to get to from Heathrow airport.

Fantastic grounds, staff are very pleasant and the food is amazing!

What an amazing place ! I went with my mother for a night after having undergone a surgery two weeks ago so really just wanted to rest and recover. Our room was amazing overlooking the backyard grounds, and the staff was the most friendly! As I was getting ready to head back to London I was not feeling very well given my surgery and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I am excited to return!

Amazing service, rooms are so luxurious and the spa is top notch. Must Visit!

Great weekend get away!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful property. Excellent service. Delicious meals and exciting polo to watch!

Beautiful rooms, complete luxury, food was excellent, gym/spa were perfect. Would recommend highly to anyone

Everything amazing only downside were the price of drinks

Great

Amazing attentive service and beautiful grounds.

Amazing staff with incredible hotel and services

Amazing. Simply amazing

Amazing place. Such awesome staff, ambience and service. Such a comfortable room, one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in. The 4 poster bed is great, very much feeling like Scrooge! Haha! If I were to pick anything that could be improved upon is the flooring is getting very worn with marks and scratches from the many suitcases etc, it didn’t detract from the awesomeness and is the only thing I could possibly nit-pick about! Loved it, the spa services were amazing (no jacuzzi that I could find but the rest was second to none I cuss g the treatments). Will definitely be going back for that special service and attention. Made to feel like a king and queen!

Fantastic experience, The staff where Fabulous and made me feel welcome

Lovely hotel and staff, always friendly and willing. Hotel lacks a relaxing outdoor seating area. A few outside loungers at Spa but we would have liked to sit and relax by the main hotel (where they only had benches).

Nice hotel, quiet and spacious, a little overpriced. There are good restaurants in the town for you to enjoy. Sadly the spa facilities only offer a steam room and swimming pool

We had an amazing time at Coworth Park. The staff are awesome and the service is excellent as a result. It’s easily my favourite hotel in the world for a romantic getaway. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary this stay and there were so many little touches to make it special.

Returned here for anniversary with our 4 week old baby. Lovely place to unwind, relax and eat good food. Not cheap, but great for a treat!

Lovely hotel with great Spa and grounds. Large room with comfortable bed. Staff were amazing from the start till we left cannot fault their exemplary service. Food was also top notch. My only gripe would be the 11 A.M. check out time especially on a Sunday.

A luxurious hotel, not stuffy, great staff, the Barn restuarant very relaxed and food very good, food at hotel bar for lunch was v expensive as were the spa treatments. No view from The Stable rooms.

My mother and I had a fabulous few days at the Dorchester hotel. The hotel is a gem, excellent location and only a 50 mins train journey from London. Staff were welcoming, attentive and delivered 5 star service from the moment we arrived until the end. The breakfast was exceptional! Thank you to our excellent waiter - nothing was too much trouble! The spa is blissful and my facial by Chloe was my best facial ever! During the winter months, it's definitely worth the upgrade to a Mansion House room where you are made to feel luxuriously comfortable. Thank you Colworth staff for a wonderful few days!

Absolutely amazing! I can’t fault the service, spa or food! It was truly one of the best uk hotels I have stayed at! I can’t wait to go back!

We have seldom experienced such consistently high quality service. We really felt welcome and very well taken care off without ever feeling that it was 'scripted' or insincere. The restaurant with its one star was of course another highlight, but the area around the hotel is beautiful and great for walks. The only small issue was that we got what we believe was the room for wheelchair users and the bathroom was thus almost as big as the room, which meant that the room missed out on a small sofa or a comfortable chair. We will ask in advance for another room next time.

Amazing hotel, amazing food & amazing service

Beautiful place. Would definitely stay there again!

Luxury hotel with amazing grounds and views. Couldn't fault the staff, who were all helpful and attentive. It is very expensive (we went for my husbands 60th birthday), but they did surprise us with a bottle of champagne and birthday cake in our room!

We had looked at staying at the hotel for sometime, having stayed at the Dorchester soem years ago, and suddenly the opportunity presented itself. We had a room in the main house and it was lovely. (I am not sure how I would feel staying the stable area though, it seemed quite crowded from the outside.) There was a polo match being played and we wandered down and watched, the grounds are lovely. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were excellent and a good choice. Service was attentive and friendly. The hotel manages a relaxed feel but clearly has high standards. Even though this was a short break we felt thoroughly refreshed.

A welcoming and friendly arrival from the staff, and the hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the spa area and the surrounding grounds are stunning. I love horses so this hotel is perfect for the feel in this environment. The food was excellent too, and the room lovely with views of the meadow. The staff were so helpful, and this is a perfect hotel to relax.

That's specific stay was to relax away from the city and take some personal photos before our baby arrival in a weeks time. Was fantastic and the weather was great.

The service and the facilities were excellent . Gorgeous grounds.the restaurant was good but not great.

Superb. Magnificent Hotel and Spa. Very quiet and beautiful grounds. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful place. Staff was friendly. My family went to breakfast the first day and reported that the service was poor, the food even less satisfactory. Cold toast and pancakes. We were reluctant to return the next day but did and the service was much better and the food was satisfactory. What happened that first day was a disappointment. Are Mondays "off days"?

Small gym, pool area too hot to sit around. The Barn restaurant weird menu. I foolishly went for cod, baked beans and chorizo, not a mix I would recommend! The main hotel restaurant was, by contrast, excellent. One tip, book your spa treatments well in advance to avoid disappointment. We tried to book our treatments a week in advance and had to threaten cancelling the entire booking to get what we wanted!

If you expect a superior level of service including attention to detail, than this is the hotel for you. The experience starts right at the front of the door, I would not expect anything less from the Dorchester Collection... Expect the best from your stay :-)

Coworth Park is a beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. From the moment we arrived we were made welcome and all the staff in the main hotel, spa and The Barn were very attentive. Our room was upgraded to a deluxe and was very comfortable with a stunning bathroom. The attention to detail was outstanding. Very pricey but worth it for a treat.

Always a first class stay! Everything about this hotel is amazing! Only criticism i would give is about the pillows on our bed, very flat and uncomfortable also the heating in the bathroom was too much! Couldn't figure out how to turn it down in the bathroom! Still a great place with wonderful service.

Fantastic hotel and experience I'd recommend the French Martinis
