The location was beautiful everything is where you need it, the tranquility, the refreshing environment, the pool was remarkable and exquisite very clean, the professionalism was astounding and the food remarkable you will be tasting it for days!!! The staffs are very keen and proactive, you feel like you in a luxury hotel such attention to detail do hope they expand because this level of customer care is hard to find even at bigger resorts!!!!! It's a must once you land in Barbados definitely visit Melbourne inn you won't regret it!!!!!

It was quite and peaceful

It was comfortable, and most of all, I felt safe. The food was absolutely outstanding.

The restaurant was too expensive. The TV was showing scratchy.

We liked the location. The pool was great. The happy hour drinks were very good. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a few complaints which they rectified immediately. We would recommend to friends.

Cold showers in the morning. Water was nice and hot however by late afternoon.

After checking in, we stepped out then on our return we buzzed in. After entering, some man who I guess was the security person followed us and asked what our room # was as if we had just come off the street & entered the hotel. It wasn't a nice feeling.

A causa di un volo in overbooking, ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia presso questa struttura a una ventina di minuti dall'aeroporto. Trovato questo hotel la sera stessa in cui siamo stati lasciati a terra, penso che il rapporto qualità/prezzo, per 3 persone sia più che buono. L'hotel è molto semplice, la camera per 3 persone un po' piccola, ma dotata di tutti i comfort necessari. La ragazza alla reception merita a gran voce un bel 10. Disponibilissima, simpatica, professionale e molto attenta alla problematica da noi riscontrata in aeroporto. la colazione a bordo piscina è davvero una coccola piacevole.

Very nice little pool. Loungers by pool covered with material provided nice airy shade from sun Newly decorated restaurant was very attractive, bright, fresh colour scheme & attractive glassware & crockery. Bar & restaurant staff friendly.

Bedding could have been nicer - blanket a bit rough & orange colour scheme didn't appeal

We had a great time! The room was comfortable and clean, the location is perfect, we loved the restaurant downstairs. But the best part was definitely the staff, they are so friendly and caring, made us feel very welcomed. Special shoutout to Sashana who was exceptional ;)

Great spot with a beautiful pool to stay for a few nights or longer on a quiet road in the Dover area- no road noise at all which is a bonus! Super friendly staff, secure entry/exit even late at night (shout out to friendly security guard Hugo!) & tasty breakfast by the pool in the morning 🌞 We stayed in a room for 3 people that had two double beds and a small balcony- it was perfect for a one night stay before the airport. Extra thank you to the great reception staff for helping us with bags with a smile and allowing us to use the storage room for our travel day 😊

Very clean, staff were exceptional, and it’s in a very good location - close to restaurants, grocery store and beach.

The deluxe king suite was everything we needed and more the location is pristine and the staff was so friendly! Definitely would stay here again!

One staff member assumed we were housing someone without authorization, which isn't the issue, it was his tone that seemed like we gave a reason to hide/lie but they were a visitor from another room who came by to visit and enjoy our private patio with us. The issue was resolved but we just wish he approached with curiosity and not with assumptions. Otherwise, no problems!

Good location for everywhere in st Lawrence gap

The rooms were very clean and tidy but a little bit dated. Good air conditioning and tea and coffee making and a microwave in the room so everything you need nice private balcony too.

We had some difficulties with the hot water the first 2 days.

The staff were extremely kind and always available to help. I stayed in Apartment 1, which was very nice, clean, with a private entrance and a small garden with a lovely patio. Perfect location — highly recommended.

The breakfast was well-prepared and offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes and I found the breakfast service impressive — fresh ingredients, timely presentation, and attentive staff.

Overall, the stay was pleasant; however, a few areas such as faster check-in and improved Wi-Fi connectivity could enhance the experience even more

The hotel was very clean the maid came everyday, the staff were very helpful, food was good the overall experience was great value for money. Close to St Laurence gap and walking distance to the beach. Alexia the waitress was great and the young man at the reception was also very helpful

The shower was a bit out dated mould in the corners of the wall. Nothing major

L'accueil du personnel était le point le plus positif de ce séjour d'une nuit, aux petits soins et gentilles. La chambre était très propre.

Nous avons longtemps cherché l'hôtel qui est très mal indiqué.. alors que nous étions juste devant sans trouver l'entrée.. Surprise en profitant de la piscine d'avoir des odeurs de poubelles pour cause de proximité avec un centre de tri.. Climatiseur directement dirigé sur le lit.. Serviette de toilette usée.. (certainement un erreur non remarquée) Rapport qualité/prix trop cher.

Quite nice guest house, excellent position, very near to the beach and supermarket. The receptionist was very friendly. The pool was small but very nice.

We booked a studio for three people (two adults and a four-year-old child), but there was only ONE bed. When we asked for even just a mattress on the floor, we were told no. We asked the manager/owner to find a solution, but he never showed up again. Furthermore, it wasn't one mattress, but two, so our son always ended up in the hole, and since he's disabled, it was always me or my husband who had to pull him out. My low rating is therefore due to the lack of professionalism and humanity.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy the pool was available on this stay and love that there is a restaurant now.

Perfect location. Nice cozy place. The staff Cherish, Davon, Darian, Ms Pauline and Ms Beverly were all great and so helpful. The owner Kwe Ko was also very nice. Its just the perfect place to stay. Its in the perfect area.. walking distance to the Gap and all the night life, beaches and restaurants. I will visit again

This place was outstanding i was a Solo traveller the location was Perfect. The Staff were Amazing, friendly, Enthusastic,helpful i could go on and on. I felt Safe to wander of an evening for meals out security at the Inn was brilliant. I defo be back in the future if the Price is Right..

Prices for food could be little expencive. A toaster in the room would of been helpful to save on cost eating out.

Nous étions un groupe de 10 le logement proposé n’était pas adapte pour 10 adultes le canapé lit était sale et rempli de poussière nous avons dû insister pour qu’il le nettoient il y avait des miettes d’aliments à l’intérieur. Il était hyper inconfortable on sentait tous les ressorts en fer du sommier. Ils n’ont rien pu faire pour nous et nous avonsne du dormir à trois adultes dans les lits pour avoir un semblant de nuit potable

If you’re looking for a quick one night stay, Melbourne Inn will suffice. Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. They were also helpful when a friend thought she lost her AirPods there. They did a very thorough look of the rooms and the restaurant hoping to find them for her. The rooms are small and not very updated but not bad for a one night stay. Had we been staying longer than that, I would’ve made alternate plans. The bed was comfortable but we had to remake it because they put the blanket under the sheet and it was the roughest, itchiest blanket ever. The tv in our room (#14) was SUPER small (at best 24in) compared to TVs in other rooms (we had friends in other rooms). The bathroom was tiny and there was very little counter space outside the bathroom to get ready. We had breakfast at the new restaurant on site and it was mediocre. Wait staff seemed confused by their own menu. I had a blueberry pancake that was definitely not a blueberry pancake. Very dry and not flavorful at all. Friends asked for a mimosa and the waiter said they didn’t have that, but champagne and orange juice were listed on the menu. The friend explained how to make it and then they did. Overall, the room served its purpose for a one night stay before going to our actual accommodations. I would not stay longer than that for a vacation.

The location is good as it’s close to Saint Lawrence gap and the airport. The design of the pool and bar area looks nice.

I was double charged for the room as I got there, they said they voided the transaction but I’ve not been reimbursed and 7 days have passed. A damage deposit was taken and I’ve not been reimbursed for this either. I paid for a king pool view, you can’t see the pool from the room, you literally have to go out of the room onto the balcony and look from the corner, it’s falsely advertised.

The staff is so nice! Very clean rooms, pool area is very nice and ver intimate, definitely would recommend! Nice dining options in the surroundings, small supermarket walking distance, beach walking distance. Would stay there again for sure!

Our stay at Melbourne was ok. Value for money

The service was good checking in. We had our own private entrance from the outside which was nice. The pool was clean and beautiful for swimming. The noise at the end of the night, late night as if they were drilling was very annoying. Breakfast is not recommended. They had a few options on their menu but it took forever to come out and half way through our wait we were told half of our items were not available. When the bill came they did not take off what we didn’t eat. The room service came every other day which was also nice. Anytime we needed towels of any sort whether for the beach or the room the staff was accommodating.

The staff was amazing, short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Melbourne Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a great location that is walkable to many restaurants. The hotel is clean with a wonderful pool area.

An excellent place to stay . Home away from home . Super friendly caring staff delicious foods clean facilities spacious king studios Well worth the price . This is my 2nd stsy here within 6 months . Wholeheartedly recommended to anyone going to Barbados .located in the heart of all the tourist attractions and easily accessible to downtown. I loved the staff. They have some amazing personalities. Breakfast was just okay.

The king sized bed is really two twin sized beds with a small space in-between them. After being there for 4 days, my entire body ached. I also don't enjoy that you cannot smoke on the balcony nor can guests invite visitors in their room. The bar and the restaurant also closes at 2pm during the week.

Got in at minutes to 1am as my flight was delay and got a easy checking. Please could you guys bring back the fridge that you use to have the front desk. I would have love to purchase a drink or juice this morning when I checked in

When I am in Barbados I always stay here. I sleep very well. No hazzle... All is good....
