The room size was reasonably good and clean. A 3 minute walk to some great little Bars and a multitude of Restaurants. No facilities here but we're allowed to use the 2 great swimming pools of the resort at the end of the beach. 200 metres. This area/beach is the right place for some very beautiful sunsets. Bed and linen was good.

The advertising pictures were taken a long time ago and the reality is a little different. While technically clean, the rooms/restaurant/bar and grounds have a rundown look about them and could do with a bit of TLC. Beach view is great but not so good for swimming due barnacle covered rocks. Pillows are well past their use by date.

I was here in late March 2026. Quiet location a short distance from a very beautiful beach and within walking distance of Kai Bae. The cottage offers everything you need. Shared use of the swimming pool at the adjacent resort. The cottage manager was friendly. Because I had difficulty walking, he offered me a lift and was willing to get food for me. Great service.

Sehr alte Anlage, Betten sehr schlecht, Matratzen durch gelegen. Außen Anlage nicht gepflegt. Frühstück sehr sparsam. Auswahl entweder Kaffee oder Orangensaft. Beides nur gegen Aufpreis.

Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, man könnte den Brunnen weg machen oder frisches Wasser zumindest.

Gut ,nur beim Frühstück das Personal sehr unfreundlich Und schade das es nur einen Kaffee oder Tee oder Saft gibt.

Schöner Strand , Ruhige Lage, bequeme Betten .Viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in laufnähe.Insgesamt Sauber.

Personal am Strand unfreundlich. Überteuerte Preise bei Cocktails und Getränken. Einfach in die nächste Strandbar gehen dort gibt es liebevoll zubereitete Cocktails und sehr freundliches Personal

Le petit déjeuner basic si vous aimez les saucisses et le lard alors c’est parfait. Le serveur à lunettes qui ne dit pas bonjour . Les transats pris d’assaut le matin par des personnes extérieures au resort

The room is 50 meters from the sea and beach is nice!

Air conditioning is very loud! I cannot sleep with it.. but also you can’t sleep without it as it’s too hot.. There are only two options for the breakfast, we stayed for a week and I’m tyred from the same breakfast every day. Sweming pool - no, the cal it jacuzzi.. as it’s a size of jacuzzi. Also you can’t sleep go to another hotel for the swimming pool .. but it’s not a next door

Das inbegriffene Frühstück war leider sehr ernüchternd. Weder Auswahl noch die Menge des Essens waren ausreichend.

Sechs schöne Bungalows im griechischen Stil an einem kleinen aber schönen Strandabschnitt. Zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das große Badezimmer in dem Dusche und Toilette weit auseinander liegen und man sich nicht die Füße nass macht, wenn man nach dem Duschen noch mal ins Bad möchte. Personal ist sehr bemüht, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Bei der Kommunikation hilft Google Übersetzer.

Die Bungalows sollten mal renoviert werden und die undichten Stellen ausgebessert werden, damit Tiere abgehalten werden reinzukommen. Wir hatten ein Problem mit Ameisen. Bis der Schädlingsbekämpfer da war, half ein Ameisenspray aus dem 7 Eleven. Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Die Dutzenden toten Ameisen haben wir jeden Morgen selbst entfernen müssen. Das wurde vom Personal offenbar (obwohl sichtbar) ignoriert. Abgesehen davon ein schöner Ort.

Beliggenheten er super, kort vei til det meste

Veldig dårlig seng, madrassen var hard som betong og gjorde at jeg sov veldig dårlig. Kjedelig frokost uten påfyll av juice eller kaffe.

Die Lage ist Super und der Beach wunderbar. An der Standbar davor sind die Cocktails doppelt so teuerl wie woanderst. Bierpreise ok.. Zum Chillen echt schöner Strand.

Generell wäre der Bungalow echt super. Aber überall an den Wänden waren lauter Kriechende Würmer. Also Ungeziefer. Ich meldete es, und man machte die erstemal ueberall wo man sag weg. Mit der Aussage die sind ungefährlich. Habe gesehen die sich auch viel durch die Dusche immer wieder gekommen. Man kann die sicher Dauerhaft entfernen. Ich war 5 Tage da . Am Letzen Tag krpcj so ein Wurm duch mein Bett , als ich aufstand . Echt ekelhaft. Tag davor war eine Riesenkakerlake im Raum. Als ich ausgeckte hatte ich eine Glas Wasserflasche in der Hand. Der bom Hotel meinte , ob er die haben kann , das ein Kasten komplett ist. Dann kam er mit einer vermutlich mit Leitungswasser abgefüllten Flasche , die schon keine Struktur und halt mehr hatte. Und bedankte sich für die Glasflasche. Die Plastikflasche war so ekelhaft, das ich liber nicht daraus trank,, Willl ja keine Krankheit vom Wasser.

Läget var fantastiskt. Nära till egen strand och nära till restauranger och allt annat. Trevlig personal.

Exzellente Lage. Privatstrand. Sehr geräumig, neu renoviert und in exzellenten Zustand. Personal sehr aufmerksam. Sehr relaxte Atmosphäre da es nur 6 Bungalows gibt.

Amazing location, pretty rooms, great staff.

Lokalizacja z malutką własną plażą i mini basenem z jakuzzi. Całość to kilka urokliwych domków. Dobre śniadanie w cenie. Blisko centrum wioski i kurortów, a bardzo zielono i cicho

Nie było niczego negatywnego. Oczywiście pamiętajmy o ilości gwiazdek i cenie

Great location, great view, comfy quiet bungalows, friendly staff, good breakfast.

The water heater in our room needs minor repair or adjustment - water was either too hot or too cold. Not the big deal though.

Everything. The bungalows were spacious with lots of nice cushions and seating arrangements. The bathrooms were big and the showers gave warm water with good pressure. The beds were super comfortable. The bungalows are 50 meters from a lovely little beach with a great view and a minute from the main road with lots of restaurants and shops. However, you barely notice it :)

Nothing except for a tip: it would be great if there was a baby bed available.

Pool was very small, beach chairs were without mats.

Bed was comfortable. From a western point of view, it wasn’t a pillow top but definitely not hard as the standard. I slept really well. Location is set off the road provides quiet. Start of season and they are working on improvements it seems.

The a/c was either on making the room as cold as a walk in refrigerator or it was off. The controls really didn’t make a difference. The shower water fluctuates between hot and cold. Our tv did not work. I didn’t complain, we are not there to watch tv.

Bra läge med egen strand och nära till "huvudgatan". Fantastisk frukost och trevlig personal i frukosten. Receptionen obemannad nästan hela tiden.

We loved this little property! It was quaint, the room was a nice size, breakfast was good, the service was friendly, and it’s right on the beach. The short walk to the main road is a nice buffer. This property was perfect for just us, but would also be lovely for a group.

Die Photos sind sehr geschönt. Sehr enge Platzverhältnisse vor dem Bungalow. Frühstück OK, aber mit Verspätung und langer Wartezeit. Außenbeleuchtung unseres Bungalows funktionierte nicht. Der Pool war eine bessere Badewanne. Ansonsten tolle Lage direkt am Meer.

I booked this hotel for my 70th birthday treat. It looked really nice on the Expedia website.On arrival the reception spoke no English so check in was a little difficult, no help with our luggage and the room and hotel were run down.Not worth the money I paid extremely dissapointed

This place could be so nice - the owner should be embarrassed. The place has a boutique feel, great location, small beach - but no effort made by staff to welcome guests or make the place feel nice. The 2 reception staff barely speak English (I know it's Thailand & not everyone has to speak English - but this is also a high tourist area!) and never smiled or attempted to say welcome, nice to see you, etc. The room was nice, clean, spacious, comfortable, good wifi - those are the good parts. The hot water in the shower was erratic - kept going hot/cold......didn't remain a constant temperature for more than 1-2 minutes. The breakfast is not buffet - there are 4 very basic meal options to choose from, and they serve these at the table. Very basic & unimaginative......including white 'cardboard' bread. With a bit of effort/pride, the breakfast could be a nice feature. If White Knot charged 1/4 of the price, it might be OK....but we stayed 3 nights at a slightly more expensive resort further south on Kaibae Beach, and the difference was marked - huge buffet breakfast spread, effort made, etc. White Knot appears to make no effort - and shouldn't be charging what they do. The beach is small - again could be so nice, but neglected and no effort to keep it clean. Some of the wicker beds had dried bird poo on them - wouldn't be hard to clean them off. Swimming pool is 5m x 2m - but the sea is right there. I can't recommend this place.

Ein schöner Ort zum entspannen: sehr ruhig, direkt an einem ruhigen Strandabschnitt und Hängematte inklusive. Sehr kleine Anlage (6 Bungalows), dadurch auch sehr überschaubar und erholsam; ein schönes Stück von der hektischen, lauten, touristischen Restaurant-Geschäfts-Meile an der Hauptstraße abgelegen.

4 nights in Koh Chang. This little resort was very nice. Very small pool but sister hotel has a beautiful one. Short scooter ride or a walk on the beach with several stairs to climb but with an impressive view from the pool. Great restaurants close by. One with orange boat out front with fish on display. (Cannot remember the name) This guy knows how to serve. Very pleasant, professional western style service, rarely found in Thailand. Awesome food. He spent 4 years studying English in the US. His name is Yay which means big in Thai so we called him Mr. Big. 555 or lol...

Lo mejor de nuestro viaje a Tailandia ha sido hospedarse en The White Knot, el entorno natural y romántico le da otro toque al lugar, es muy acogedor y limpio, la playa está a 20 metros, apartado de todo ruido, tranquilidad garantizada, valió la pena el gastar un poco más. Queríamos quedarnos una noche más pero no había nada disponible, volveríamos sin duda y lo recomendamos enormemente si lo que se busca es tranquilidad en pareja ...no os preocupéis por la entrada, da la sensación de haber llegado al lugar equivocado pero una vez que estas dentro cambia todo! 10/10 pts. El staff no habla mucho inglés pero son muy atentos!

when we arrived my boyfriend was not impressed which my choice! the place isn't very Thai and the pool was tiny he said. But after a brilliant night sleep in the most comforting hotel bed I have ever slept in we went for breakfast in the little restaurant area on the private beach. The breakfast was cooked to order and there was a good selection of western and Thai dishes we were starting to feel much better about the hotel! I asked about the pool and they said we could use their sister hotel which had a bigger pool, its located on the other end of the beach a nice 5/10 minuet walk along the deserted beach (we were there in rainy season). We were only booked into the hotel for 4 nights we loved it so much by the end we wanted to extend out stay but they were fully booked ( only had 6 rooms. We moved to the bigger sister hotel cliff beach resort and spent the rest of our time in koh chang there which was equality as nice, but a bit more weathered. guess this is expected on a tropical island.

Whilst Ko Chang was not our favourite Island on our trip, this hotel was. Small, but very cute with everything you need. Staff are great. Breakfast is included and is a feast. Bungalow is a great size and beds are comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good priced hotel on the Island.

Had a great stay at White Knot! Fantastic location right on the beach and the bungalows were amazing!

I stayed two nights at the White Knot. When we arrived they did not have my information from hotels.com and were quite confused about what to do. Offered to let us stay at Cliff Beach resort, which was nice but Cliff Beach was full. After about an hour they informed us we were ready to check in. (not sure if they found our reservation info or what caused this) Anyway, it was an overall enjoyable place. Rooms are very nice, clean, big bed etc. Nice beach with small island within kayaking distance. Served us basically everything they had for breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit). Staff was very accomodating and helped us rent motorbike, find taxi etc. Other 5 rooms were also taken by couples looking to get away. Nice little spot but keep in mine it is quiet.
