I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Moderno in Lecco and would absolutely return. The location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the train and bus stations and about 8 minutes from the beautiful lakefront, restaurants, cafés and bars. There are also plenty of conveniences nearby, including a great salon right next door. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning, a nice breakfast and, most importantly, genuinely kind and accommodating staff who were always happy to help. Because the hotel is centrally located, you should expect some normal city noise, but the windows close well and the room can be made quiet and dark for sleeping and the hotel is automatically locked in the evening with access only through keycards for safety. I was in Lecco for work while visiting and evaluating properties for clients, and this is exactly the type of hotel I feel comfortable recommending because of its location, cleanliness, comfort and excellent service. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so pleasant and for being so kind to myself and my dog. We will definitely be back!

Localização ótima, funcionários super atenciosos e queridos. Café da manhã pequeno, mas delicioso e completo. Quartos simples mas confortáveis, com ar condicionado.

mi è piaciuta la posizione dell'hotel che si trovo proprio di fronte alla stazione. L'accoglienza al check-in e al check-out è stata molto positiva grazie allo staff. la colazione ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative all'italiana. c'era anche una piccola ma soddisfacente scelta per quella internazionale. la posizione della camera era ottima perchè dava sul cortile interno anche se nella via principale non c'era comunque rumore pur essendo il mese di agosto. anche la pulizia della camera va premiata, l'addetta alle pulizie è gentilissima.

purtroppo non dipende dalla struttura ma è capitata la seconda notte che alcuni clienti continuassero a uscire / entrare dalle loro camere facendo rumore. metterei forse un bagnoschiuma in piu a disposizione. uno per la doccia e uno per il lavandino. tuttavia il mio soggiorno è stato piacevole e tornerei volentieri in questo albergo a pochi passi dal centro.

It was clean, with air conditioning, they change the bathroom towels every day. The bed was comfortable and you have a closet for all your clothes and other staff. The staff is nice, respectful and very helpful if you need more info about the around area, the town. It’s close to the lake and the train station; 1 min from the best gelato in town (opened from 1925).

The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, so you could hear everything from inside. It was a sliding door so every time someone was inside you could hear the bathroom fan really loud.

Great breakfast and very friendly staff! The room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, with public transport right nearby and great restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Despite being close to the train line, the area is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Klimatyzacja bardzo głośna, ciężko sie spało i ciemno w pokoju. Brak naturalnego światła.

Есть кондиционер. Прямо у вокзала, удобно когда останавливаешься на ночь с вещами.

Отель будто застыл как был 20 лет назад. Соотношение цены и качества плохое. В номере странно пахло, вся мебель старая, с дефектами. В туалете нет вешалки под полотенца, держатель туалетной бумаги почти отваливался. Душ только «мужской» - тропический душ, что женщинам сложно принять душ не намочив волосы. Завтрак, очень маленький выбор, вкусным были только круассаны, все остальное не очень…

Great location near to the station and a short walk to restaurants and the lake. Room was basic but clean.

The ac in the rooms is so bad it doesn't cool a room if you leave it on for a week.

Zentrale Lage, kurze Wege in die Fußgängerzone. Tiefgarage sehr zu empfehlen bei den Sommertemperaturen.

Location was great, only a 5 min walk to the lake and location to the hotel from the train station was over the road. Breakfast was good and was able to check in a little earlier.

The shower over flowed, maybe a blockage. The hotel is a bit dated and the room was basic.

I love the hotel, the room access and the area.

Unfortunately i wasnt given the best room view. Even though i requested it a while ago and i wasnt promised but they said they will do their best. But i was disappointed with how they werent able to accomodate my request. But ita ok.

The hotel's main upside is its location next to Lecco's train station. If you plan to use public transport to move around, this is a great choice. Breakfast was basic but good, and the room was cleaned daily.

The room was a bit shabby, and the air conditioner struggled to keep the room's temperature comfortable. When travelling in summer, this can be frustrating, since the nights can be quite hot (around 30 C degrees).

Posizione comoda sia dal centro e vicinissima alla ferrovia. Mi sono trovata molto bene in generale.

Nice hotel right in a great location. It's just in front of railway station, 5 minutes walk to the city centre, lake and all the restaurants and cafes. The room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good. the stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Wi-fi was working really bad in our room.

Very pleasant hotel, very kind staff, very good location near the train station. At walking distance from the city center, with a wonderful promenade and great views of the lake.

Buffet breakfast at hotel was okay but nothing special. If hotel is full then get to breakfast early to secure a table because there aren't many available. Hotel was a little dated but comfortable. Located near the railway station and a short walk to the lake (5 minutes). Plenty of restaurant options in town. Had a single room with air conditioning which worked well. Shower clean.

Food variety at breakfast was okay but would prefer more options. Decoration is a little dated and in need of modernisation.

Het enige moderne was het koffieapparaat in de ontbijtruimte. De koffie was lekker. De locatie t.o.v. het station en het meer op loopafstand. Goede bedden. Goed werkende airco. Zeker nodig bij 35°÷..

Slecht onderhouden, piepende deuren, gordijnen die moeilijk dicht kunnen. Schilderwerk oud en vies. De vlekken op het plafond van een lekkage niet weggewerkt. Zeer kleine badkamer, geen plaats voor zelfs een tandenborstel.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything nearby. We truly felt at home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Everything was exactly as described, and the attention to detail was exceptional. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again!

Hotel położony blisko stacji i niedaleko przystani promowej dobry jak się zwiedza okolice. Byliśmy na 2 dni nad jeziorem Como a ten hotel jest w akceptowalnej cenie w stosunku do innych w sąsiednich miastach.

Brak półek w łazience nie ma nawet haczyków na ręczniki to jest zmora hoteli we Włoszech. Może wynika to z braku takich wymogów prawnych aby dostać licencję na hotel? Łazienka po remoncie ma podniesioną podłogę więc jest próg w który można się boleśnie uderzyć w nocy warto płożyć na tym biały ręcznik. Brak gotowanych jajek na śniadaniu.

Bagno molto piccolo, anche se pulito ed ordinato. Una curiosità: alla reception non mi hanno saputo indicare il percorso per arrivare alla Villa Manzoni e Museo!

Quase tudo. O hotel está impróprio para receber hóspedes, a casa de banho estava suja e ainda com lixo dos hóspedes anteriores, o duche é mau e sujo. As camas estão com os colchões obsoletos e deformados. Durante a noite ouve-se ruídos da canalização. Não tem de forma nenhuma 3 estrelas. Muito caro para o estado do quarto e da casa de banho. Tivemos de usar chinelos para poder tomar duche.

In generale aveva una bella offerta per essere un tre stelle. Quindi sono stato bene nei tre giorni di alloggio. La colazione era abbondante, staff molto gentile e disponibile e la posizione vicino al centro di Lecco è ottima.

Diciamo che sono piccolezze, ma la doccia del bagno era stretta per una persona della mia stazza ed era difficile entrarci. Penso che basterebbe cambiare il tipo di apertura per accedere alla doccia. E la finestra che dava su una terrazza sconosciuta (ed era una stanza senza balcone). Che basterebbe mettere delle sbarre (suona brutto ma penso che possa essere l'unica soluzione) solo per avere la sicurezza che lasciando aperta la finestra, nessuno possa intrufolarsi nella stanza da quella terrazza.

Location is very good, steps away from the train station. Also really close to the city center and the lake. You have plenty of options of restaurants, bars etc.

The price I paid for a few nights was not justified by the conditions of the room in general. The window frame was not working properly, the toilet didn't flush correctly, the AC unit needs maintenance, the minibar barely worked, stains on the wall, bad smells, etc. The breakfast was not good either, not a lot of options.

Lokalita je docela slušná, kousek od centra.

Koupelny. Spali jsme tam třetí rok za sebou a koupelny jsou pokaždé v hrůzném stavu, ale s tím jsme se už tak nějak smířili.

Отличный отель. 1 минута от железнодорожной станции. В самом центре города. Отличный завтрак. Уютный номер.

La ubicación es excelente, a sólo 1 minuto caminando de la estación de tren de Lecco. El personal es muy amable y la habitación es cómoda. El desayuno era muy bueno con varias opciones de pan, fruta, jamón y café para escoger.

The service was excellent and very welcoming. The gentlemen at the reception were especially helpful, friendly, and professional. They made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Di "moderno" c'è forse solo il nome. La struttura appare piuttosto datata, o meglio trascurata. La porta della camera, con serratura e chiave tradizionali, era sprovvista di chiavistello e non consentiva di dare un giro di chiave dall'interno della stanza. La ventola del bagno non funzionava e lo scarso getto d'acqua del bidet, indipendentemente dalla temperatura, ne impediva l'uso. La camera era sprovvista di abat-jour/lampade da comodino. Qualità della colazione: medio-bassa. Le spremute erogate dal distributore in sala erano, ad esempio, piuttosto discutibili. Difficile soprassedere a questa percezione di noncuranza, con una spesa di 160 euro per una notte in bassa stagione e in una posizione della città che sicuramente non rientra tra le migliori.

Spacious room and free breakfast. Staff was helpful. Short walk between the train station, shopping, resturants and Lake Como.

It was very close to the train station which becomes problematic for noise in the evening. There is always people loitering and being loud outside until 10PM. The beds were very hard and the rooms were in poor repair. All the bathroom fittings were loose or not properly plumbed. The bathroom was missing trim. There was an incline going into the bathroom that was very slippery and wet after a shower. The walls had lits of scuffs and plaster chips. Would not recommend unless you get an amazing deal and your plans align with the noise.
